Ellen star Sophia Grace insists she has not had plastic surgery

OHMYGOSSIP — Sophia Grace has denied having plastic surgery,
The 19-year-old TV star – who first found fame as a child when she and cousin Rosie McClelland were invited onto ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ back in 2011, after the talk show host saw their cover of Nicki Minaj’s ‘Super Bass on YouTube – was accused of having had work done on social media and made a video to insist that she has not.
In a video posted to YouTube, she said: “So someone said, ‘At first, when I saw you on social media, I thought you had plastic surgery, do you? No, I don’t have any plastic surgery. I’ve probably answered this quite a lot of times on my Instagram and on YouTube. So no, I haven’t had any plastic surgery.”
The ‘Little Things’ hitmaker – who since finding fame on ‘Ellen’ aged just seven has gone on to release a series of charting singles both with her cousin and as a solo artist – went on to explain that she is “not interested” in getting lip fillers and explained that her style of make up probably led to the accusations in the first place.
She added: “I mean, I really don’t think my lips look that big. Maybe I haven’t underlined them as much as I usually do today. But I’ve never had lip fillers. I wouldn’t be interested in getting lip fillers. Makeup is very powerful and obviously I look very different without makeup to what I do with it, which most people do. And yeah so that’s the reason why maybe people think it is because I am quite good at makeup and I’m quite good at making my face look like maybe I have had surgery, even though I haven’t.”

She told OK! Magazine: “Dress for your body. I haven’t always been body confident and I’ve always fluctuated with my weight. If you’re wearing the right clothes you can feel confident. If you pop the right outfit on, your mood automatically changes, and if you know you look good, you know you feel good. It’s lovely to look good. As soon as you put a dress on you get more confidence. I don’t feel any pressure because if I like it, hopefully other people can like it. I think I’ve got quite good taste!”
Josie added that while it is “lovely” to look good on the set of ‘This Morning’, she doesn’t feel any “pressure” to look a certain way while presenting the ITV morning show.
She said: “It’s lovely to look good. As soon as you put a dress on you get more confidence. I don’t feel any pressure because if I like it, hopefully other people can like it. I think I’ve got quite good taste!”

Kourtney Kardashian always brushes her brows and curls her lashes before leaving the house

OHMYGOSSIP — Kourtney Kardashian always brushes her brows and curls her lashes before leaving the house.
The 43-year-old reality star shared her “light make-up” routine via her team on her Poosh blog but admitted that leaving the house without perfecting her eyebrows and eyelashes is “non-negotiable.”
The blog post read: “Kourt’s hair dries naturally straight, so she doesn’t ever use hot tools unless she’s having her hair done. She also uses a hair towel turban to help protect her strands. Now for the very light makeup routine. First things first, Kourt never leaves the house without brushing her brows and curling her lashes. This is a non-negotiable for her.”
The former ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ star – who is married to Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker but has kids Mason, 12, Penelope, 10, and seven-year-old Reign with ex-partner Scott Disick – was sharing the routines from her “non-glam” days and, according to the blog post, finishes things up with a “dash of makeup” and a touch of bronzer on her eyelids.
The post added: “When we say non-glam, we’re referring to the days she doesn’t have her hair and makeup squad. Other than that, her life is always slightly glamourous because it’s Kourt and pretty damn fabulous.
“And then for just a dash of makeup, it’s concealer (or a light application of foundation) and bronzer—that’s it. Then she uses bronzer on her eyelids for some definition for the most no-makeup-makeup look. To maintain a natural look with minimal makeup, Kourt uses a face stamper once a month.”

Julianne Moore drinks chlorophyll water to benefit her skin

OHMYGOSSIP — Julianne Moore drinks chlorophyll-filled water to benefit her skin.
The 61-year-old actress was once told that the plant-based pigment was “really good” for skincare and has started each day with two large glasses of water first thing every morning for several years.
She said: “I’m not a morning person. I’m a middle person. I realized recently that my ideal sleep cycle is from midnight to 8. When I can do that, I feel fantastic. The first thing I do is drink two big glasses of water with chlorophyll in it. Someone told me a long time ago that it was really good for your skin, so I’ve always done it.I also like to take a bath in the morning and at night, with two whole cups of Epsom salts. In the morning it’s a really, really short one, but it helps wake me up, believe it or not.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Nine Months’ star – who is married to director Bart Freundlich and has Caleb, 24, and 20-year-old Liv with him – revealed that she has started to share clothes and make-up tips with her daughter and has always warned her to “never” pluck her eyebrows after “destroying” her own.
She told WSJ Magazine: “It’s funny because we obviously have different kinds of taste. Hers is more youthful, you know? Liv’s out there wearing those tiny little crop tops and stuff like that. But we both comment on each other’s clothes all the time and talk about fashion. In terms of sharing stuff, it really is funny having a daughter who’s like, “Mom, do you have any makeup remover? Mom, where’s your mascara? Mom, where’s your face wash?” I’ve noticed all this stuff that’s migrated to her bathroom. I always tell her never to pluck her eyebrows. I destroyed mine!”

Nikkie de Jager: My wedding will be all about the glam

OHMYGOSSIP — Nikkie de Jager’s wedding will be “all about the glam.”
The 28-year-old beauty vlogger – who is also known by her YouTube username of NikkieTutorials – is set to tie the knot with her partner Dylan and has considered “scattering rhinestones” across her face on the big day but is mindful that photographs from the big day will live on forever.
She said: “This is my first and, hopefully last, wedding. I’m so excited to see how I make the bridal trends mine. As you can see [gestures to red lips] I love a bit of color. So there will be something colorful, but I’m also all about the glam. So think of rhinestones, little crystal gems scattered across the face. But I also want to be careful, because these wedding pictures will live until the end of time—and that makeup has got to be perfect. So, better to keep it classy. I know that’s a lot coming from me, but better to keep it a bit more safe than to go too over-the-top.”
The viral video star – whose make up tutorials have amassed more than 1.5 billion views and garnered her almost 14 million subscribers on YouTube – also added that she will be taking care of her own look on the big day because she would not “trust” anyone else to do it.
She told The Knot magazine: “I’ve gotten this question a lot. And the answer is, of course, yes. Can you imagine? I do all my makeup all the time. I do it for big events. And can you imagine me waking up on my wedding day being like, ‘I’ll have someone else scoot in and just do it for me.’ I could not have that trust. Nobody can touch these brows like I do. It’s all going to be me!”

Kate Moss splashes out on designer balaclava

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Moss has bought herself a balaclava.
The 48-year-old supermodel is “over” wearing hats but she recently splashed out on the wooly headgear for herself and her 19-year-old daughter Lila, who she has with former partner Jefferson Hack.
Playing a game of ‘Chic or Not Chic’ with Dazed magazine, she was asked about trilby hats and said: “Oh, trilby? Not pork pie? Pork pie… not chic! Fedora? Chic. Hmmm. No hang on. No fedora, not really.
“I’m a bit over hats. But oh! I did buy a balaclava. Amazing! A striped balaclava from Marc Jacobs the other day. Gorj! For me and Lila!”
While Kate was renowned for her festival style over the years, she isn’t a fan of some of the looks seen on revellers taking to the fields these days.
Continuing the game and asked about festival style, she replied: “At Coachella? Not chic. I think Coachella style’s gone completely.”
While Kate’s balaclava will conceal most of her face, she hasn’t bought it as a disguise because she prefers to just be “normal”.
She said: “I like to be able to walk down the street with my dogs. I do it every day. I don’t do, like, sunglasses and hats and security guards. I walk down the street by myself with my dogs. And nobody looks. Someone might ask for a picture, and I just say no.”
Asked how it feels to be the most famous face in the world, she added: “I never think about it like that! Because then I would be all like that [sunglasses and hat]. I like to think I’m just a normal person, and [everything else] is just my job.
“When I walk down the street I’m just normal, [people] treat me normally. I’ve been around a lot of people [who try to disguise themselves] and the more they do it, the more attention they get.”

Lupita Nyong’o ‘gravitates towards green’

OHMYGOSSIP — Lupita Nyong’o didn’t realise she “gravitates towards green” clothing until she starred in ‘Black Panther’.
The 39-year-old actress wore the hue a lot as her character Nakia and it was only when speaking to her stylist afterwards that it dawned on her she is also drawn to a similar colour palette in her life off-camera.
She said: “When I did ‘Black Panther’ for the first time, I discovered that I have an obsession with green. My character, Nakia, is from the River Tribe, so all her clothes in the first movie are shades of green.
“It was only after then I was talking to my stylist and it dawned on me that I gravitate towards green a lot. That was something I really didn’t know about myself until I played it up as Nakia.”
Because of the ongoing requirements to wear masks due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Lupita is currently a big fan of a “dramatic eye”, particularly in shades of purple for the summer.
She told HarpersBazaar.com: “I love a dramatic eye right now, you know, with masks. It’s easier to have an aesthetic point of view with your eyes. Today we used Hypnôse Amethyst 5 Color Palette, which is a purple.
“It’s really pretty anytime of the year, but I feel like it’s a vibe for the summer. And, of course, mascara. I use the Idôle Mascara, which is super light; it’s very natural looking. I layer on top the Hypnôse Mascara for a little more drama.”
The ‘Us’ actress has learned what works best for her skin over the years so doesn’t like to “experiment” with new products.
She said: “I carry my skincare products with me wherever I go, because I don’t like to experiment. If it’s not broken, why fix it? I have the basics: cleanser, toner, moisturizer. I always have my Lancôme Genifiqué Serum.”

Gracie Abrams wears Chanel lipstick every day

OHMYGOSSIP — Gracie Abrams wears Chanel lipstick every day.
The ‘Friend’ hitmaker – and daughter of famed showrunner J.J Abrams and his wife Kate McGrath – loves the Boy lippie and takes it with her “everywhere” she goes.
The 22-year-old musician told Harper’s Bazaar: Growing up, I had very little involvement in the fashion world. I played rowdy sports and I only have brothers, but my mom had two lipsticks and they were both Chanel. One of them was a dark red, and the other one was a nude shade. I wear Boy now every day—that’s the shade that I carry with me everywhere. It feels like a happy medium between the two.”
Gracie – who is performed at an event for the French fashion house in East Hampton – believes the brand represents “classic glamour”.
She said added: I just remember feeling like Chanel was classic glamour and timeless beauty, and growing up, that was only reaffirmed in everything that I learned about them. To be in close proximity to the brand is such an honor, and to sing for a night for the brand is a real dream come true.
The ‘Mess It Up’ singer called her fashion aesthetic as “kind of boyish”.
After being asked how she would describe it, Gracie said: “Kind of boyish. I really love being comfortable. I was shocked that I felt so myself in the clothes I wore the other night, because Chanel feels so untouchable, but they know people so well that it really became very human and I felt so myself. Less is more for me.”
She added: “I just love menswear so much. It’s so sexy, and I feel confident in boxy pieces sometimes. I love the contrast between the outfit I wore to perform: a small top with a baggy pant. That’s my favorite thing in the world.”

Maggie Rogers wears a lot of white because she loves ‘the simple’

OHMYGOSSIP — Maggie Rogers has been wearing a lot of neutrals because she loves “the simple”.
The ‘I’ve Got A Friend’ singer – who was inspired to make her new record ‘Surrender’ by the “starkness of the pandemic” – doesn’t see a huge difference between her “creative choices” and herself as an individual and wanted to be “direct” with both.
The 28-year-old musician told Elle.com: “When I make visuals, I’m always starting with where I’m being naturally drawn. To me, this record so much is about the starkness of the pandemic and what came up in that quiet, which is a very loud record. I wanted things to feel really direct, which you get from that album cover. But I think I’ve always leaned toward the classic or the simple; making things that feel classic is always the goal. I think I’ll be trying to do that my entire life. I’m just picking things that I like. I wish I had more to say about that, but I think that’s maybe the most important thing then, that there’s not a big boundary between my creative choices and my personality, which is why it’s my name on the marquee.”
Maggie made her new LP – the follow-up to 2019’s ‘Heard It In A Past Life’ which is out on Friday (29.07.22) – in at her parent’s house during the pandemic.
She said: “Yeah, exactly. I started this record at my parents’ garage, and I got to have a studio space for one of the first times in a long time. I got to have a real creative practice. I had that in high school, but in college I used school studios, which weren’t always open, and then I was on tour, so I was always cobbling it together. The idea of being stationary, as someone who is a touring musician, just makes my mouth water.”

Kate Moss: My daughter is too prudish to wear my clothes

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Moss says her daughter Lila is too “prudish” to wear some of her clothes.
The 48-year-old model has 19-year-old Lila with ex-boyfriend Jefferson Hack and explained that the teenager has started to take an interest in her mother’s clothes but finds some items from her fashion heyday to be too risque.
Kate said: “Maybe in a couple of decades, I’ll pull out the Marc Jacobs look I wore when I was 25, but at the moment it’s too close. But it’s a problem because Lila’s started to wear my things, and we have to be careful! But she wouldn’t wear a miniskirt because it was too short. Kids are so prudish these days!”
The fashion legend went on to explain her worries that the new generation is “scared” to be themselves following an incident in which she attempted to persuade Lila to wear a mini dress.
Kate told Vogue: “[Lila said to me] ‘But Mum, nobody wears this!’ and I said ‘No one wore a ’30s dress and trainers when I was your age.’ They’re all scared to be themselves and I think they should dress as they want. You can’t have regrets!”
Kate went on to joke that when she appeared at the V A Gala back in 2007 and infamously ripped her Christian Dior gown, she ended up looking like rock star Courtney Love but didn’t mind so much because it was great for publicity.
She added: “I went in looking like [film actress] Veronica Lake and came out as Courtney Love. The papers loved it!”

She wrote on Instagram: “Rose’s dress is being made with cut-offs from my dress [sobbing emoji]. So I wanted to make her shoes to match mine. So I bought glittery bows from Etsy and stuck them on her baby shoes[welling-up emoji], now we fully match [crying emoji].”
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist – who also has Zachary, 14, and Leighton, 10, from previous relationships – posted a video featuring the tot’s shoes onto her social media page with a black-and-white filter and Eva Cassidy’s version of ‘Over the Rainbow’ could be heard playing in the background.

He said: “There’s going to be a little role for all the kids within the ceremony, otherwise they’ll get the hump! Me and Stacey are brilliaint. Everything is split down the middle. We cook 50-50, so no-one is hard done by. At the end of the day, they’re our children, we’ve both got exactly the same amount of love and passion for them. If anything, we argue about who’s holding the baby! We’re a good team, we work as a family.”

David Gandy ‘still cares’ about his looks

OHMYGOSSIP — David Gandy “still cares” about his looks after 20 years in the modelling industry.
The 42-year-old star – who is known as the world’s most successful male model – started his career when he won a competition on ITV’s ‘This Morning’ back in 2001 but admitted that these days he walks five miles a day in an effort to look after himself because he “owes it” to his children.
He said: “People ask me, ‘Do you still care about how you look?’ And I have to say I do. I walk five miles a day with Dora [his rescue dog] and go to the gym every evening after dinner. Why? Looking after myself is part of the job. And I owe it to my kids and their future.”
The former Dolce and Gabbana ambassador – who is in a long-term relationship with barrister Stephanie Mendoros and has daughters Matilda, four, and Tabitha, eight months, with her – also explained that when he first started, he wanted to emulate the success of fellow models such as Kate Moss and Christie Turlington but was initially told his career would be limited.
He told the Sunday Times: “Pretty much as soon as I started people told me, ‘You’ve got about a year in this business, you know?’ But my goal was always: ‘How do I become as successful as the women?’ Kate [Moss] and Christie Turlington had created amazing careers. I wanted that. And you do that by realising saying no sometimes is as important as saying yes. Don’t dilute the brand. Don’t just say yes and grab the money,”
