Liam Payne sent ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer sweet message weeks before death

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne’s ex-girlfriend, Danielle Peazer, has shared the touching final message he sent her “weeks” before his tragic passing.
The 36-year-old dancer was in an on-off relationship with Liam – who died on Wednesday (16.10.24) at the age of 31 after falling from a balcony in Buenos Aires – from 2010, when they met on ‘The X Factor’, until 2013.
Breaking her silence earlier this week, Danielle admitted she need time to “grieve privately”.
The mother-of-two has since posted a new tribute to the late One Direction star, revealing that he had contacted her prior to his death to let her know how pleased he was for her and the contentment she has found with her two children Sonny and Mia.
Danielle said that Liam’s proudest achievement in life was not his global success with the chart-topping boy band, but becoming a father to his seven-year-old son Bear – whose mother is Girls Aloud star Cheryl, 41 – and later being an uncle to his sister Ruth’s little boy.
Sharing a new photograph of her and Liam enjoying an ice cream on Instagram, she penned: “Whilst we all take the time to navigate in a world without Liam, it’s important to remember that while he was adored by millions as a world famous musician for the last decade, he was also someone’s son and brother for more than 30 years, a friend to so many and more recently an uncle.
“His most important role and something he was the most proud of out of all of his monumental successes was that he was a father. The thought that there is a now a child growing up without one of their parents is heartbreaking and unfair. To Liam’s son Bear, as well as his parents and sisters, my love, thoughts and strength goes to you. The magnitude of this loss is incomprehensible and I will continue to support you in any way I am able to.”
Danielle admitted she and Liam didn’t always see eye-to-eye, but they always had each other’s backs.
She continued: “LJP, This still doesn’t feel real. Despite being aware of your struggles over the years, I hoped and prayed that this day would never come. But now we’re all facing the reality of living a life without your presence. It’s common at times like this for people to say ‘I hope he knew how much I cared about him’ but I know that you knew how I felt, it was one thing we were really good at – being brutally honest with our feelings for each other, whether the other wanted to hear it or not.”
She went on: “At times you were my favourite person in the whole world, but you could also wind me up so much and I probably annoyed the hell out of you sometimes too. It was something we learned to accept of each other over 14 years, we could disagree on so many things yet still look out for each other in times of need and laugh about our disagreements and petty behaviour 10 mins later.
“Our relationship may have ended back in 2013, but that seemed to be just the start of our story. The things we went through and experienced from then all the way until last year could be described as unique to some and misunderstood by others, but I think deep down we always knew we’d have some sort of connection forever, no matter where our individual lives took us.”
She described Liam as a people-pleaser and admitted he perhaps didn’t realise that he was “more than enough for this world” as he was.
She reflected: “It took a little longer for you to figure out the person you wanted to be in order to be your happiest, but whilst most of us have our teens and twenties to learn about ourselves, you spent those years giving more to the world than you ever needed to. I wish you knew that you were always more than enough for this world without having to search for a role to play just to please others.”
Sharing the final message he sent her before departing the world, Danielle concluded: “Thank you for teaching me about the importance of setting boundaries, and that I should always protect my heart. Receiving a message from you a couple of weeks ago expressing your happiness for the love I found with Sonny and Mia is something I’ll cherish forever. I’m sorry your story didn’t end differently, and I’m sorry you didn’t ever get to share more of your magic with the world.
Rest easy my friend. Love Danielle.”

Lizzo mocks Donald Trump at Kamala Harris rally after he criticises Detroit

OHMYGOSSIP — Lizzo called out Donald Trump’s disparaging comments about the city of Detroit in a speech at his election rival Kamala Harris’ rally on Saturday (19.10.24).
The ‘About Damn Time’ hitmaker, 36, has joined the legions of huge names in backing the 60-year-old Vice President to become the next President of the United States.
After Trump, 78, recently claimed that Kamala running the country would lead to the whole nation ending up like Detroit, a “once great city”, and local Lizzo defended her city and slammed Trump, after he said: “Our whole country will end up being like Detroit if she’s your president. You’re going to have a mess on your hands.”
She said: “All the best things were made in Detroit: Coney dogs, Faygo, and Lizzo.
“I’m so proud to be from this city.
“You know, they say if Kamala wins, then the whole country will be like Detroit. OK. Proud like Detroit. Resilient like Detroit. We’re talking about the same Detroit that innovated the auto industry and the music industry. So put some respect on Detroit’s name.”
Encouraging people to vote, she said: “They say voting is not a love letter, it’s a chess move.
“Well, I feel like voting early is not just a chess move, it’s a power move. There’s a lot of people who feel like their vote doesn’t matter, but I say to that: If your vote didn’t matter, then voter suppression would not exist.
“If your vote didn’t matter, they wouldn’t discourage young people from going to the polls. If your vote didn’t matter, our parents and our grandparents would not have marched and fought for our right to vote.”
Lizzo was not the only famous star from Detroit, Michigan to slam Trump.
Jack White, 49 – who along with his former White Stripes bandmate and ex-wife, Meg White, also 49, recently took legal action to prevent the former ‘Apprentice’ star from using their hit ‘Seven Nation Army’ as part of his campaign again without permission – called Trump out for his “fascist” behaviour.
He fumed on social media: “What kind of political idiot insults Detroit while SPEAKING TO DETROITERS??? Guess what trump, YOU AIN’T LIKE US.
“You’re gonna lose Michigan BIGLY you wanna-be dictator orange clown. Go back to your fascist rallies.”

Shirley MacLaine left Morgan Freeman shaking his head after she ‘propositioned him’

OHMYGOSSIP — Shirley MacLaine has claimed Morgan Freeman “shook his head” when she “propositioned him”.
In her new tell-all tome, ‘The Wall of Life: Pictures and Stories from This Marvelous Lifetime’, the 90-year-old Hollywood star – who was in an open relationship with ex-husband Steve Parker from 1954 to 1982 – confesses to trying to hit on the 82-year-old actor.
She wrote: “I propositioned him and he turned me down.”
Expanding on the confession in an interview with PEOPLE, she shared: “Oh, I really liked him right away. I thought his acting was brilliant. I barely said anything, and he just shook his head. Isn’t that interesting?”
The Academy Award-winning star insisted her ‘Terms of Endearment’, Jack Nicholson, 87, was not her “type”.
She said: “He just made me laugh all the time. He was one of my favourite people.
“I don’t think he would’ve been my type to have an affair with anyway. I would laugh too much.”
As for the late Peter Sellers, who she starred alongside in 1979’s ‘Being There’, she admitted she never got to know the real man because he was always in character on set.
She said of the British star – who died a year later in 1980 at the age of 54 – that: “Peter Sellers was [always] in his character, so you never really got to meet him.”
Shirley also shared her encounter with the late King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, and recalled giving the ‘Love Me Tender’ hitmaker some advice about how to act on set.
She recounted: “His dressing room was two doors down, and he didn’t know how to behave as he needed to on the set.
“I just told him to be nice to people and kind, because he was a huge star then. But we didn’t hang out, I didn’t know him that well.”
Shirley – who has 68-year-old daughter Sachi Parker with her former spouse – had affairs with Lord Mountbatten and Australian politician Andrew Peacock.

Songwriter Guy Chambers calls for an end to teenage boy bands following Liam Payne’s tragic death

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams’ close collaborator, Guy Chambers, has called for teenage boys to not be put into boy bands – following the tragic death of One Direction’s Liam Payne.
After former Take That star Robbie, 50, drew comparisons to his addiction battle and that of Liam, who plummeted to his death from the third-floor balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16, aged just 31, the top songwriter says television shows like ‘The X Factor’, which Liam shot to fame on alongside Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik in 2010, don’t have “proper protection” in place to look after their well-being.
He told the Observer: “I do think putting a 16-year-old in an adult world like that is potentially really damaging. Robbie [Williams] experienced that, certainly.
“I have four children, so I think about this a lot. I know in Robbie’s case, with Take That, there wasn’t any proper protection set up to look after what were teenage boys. That was a long time ago, but I don’t see much sign of change. There is not much more real care taken, that I have observed, from people involved in the big television talent shows.”
Robbie was the same age as Liam, 16, when they were thrust into the limelight in their respective groups, and Guy believes only those aged 18 and over should be in a boy band.
He said: “I would suggest that people should not be in a boy band until they are 18, and the industry should stick to that, too.”
It comes after Sharon Osbourne, who was a judge on ‘The X Factor’, admitted she believes Liam was “let down” by the music industry.
Sharing a picture of the singer on Instagram, the 72-year-old music manager wrote: “Liam, my heart aches. We all let you down. Where was this industry when you needed them? You were just a kid when you entered one of the toughest industries in the world. Who was in your corner? Rest in peace my friend @liampayne (sic)”
Liam first auditioned for ‘The X Factor’ in 2008 when he was 14 and returned two years later, where he secured a place in One Direction.

Ariana Grande teases future music with Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande “absolutely” sees her and ‘Wicked’ co-star Cynthia Erivo making original music together.
The 31-year-old pop star and the 37-year-old actress got to record music for their two-part big-screen adaptation of the Broadway show – which sees them star as witches Glinda and Elphaba, respectively – and they worked so well together, Ariana is keen for them to hit the studio again in the future.
Speaking to Variety at the Academy Museum Gala at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on Saturday (19.10.24), she said: “I love being in the studio with her, even just as like a fly on the wall, hearing what she’s working on and having her there when I’m working.
“I think we are stuck with each other, professionally and personally for the rest of our lives. So I would say absolutely.”
The ‘Thank U, Next’ hitmaker also addressed the use of AI in fan edits of ‘Wicked’ and admitted that whilst it’s “fun” for them, the technology can be “troublesome”.
She said: “I think it’s very complicated because I find AI so conflicting and troublesome sometimes, but I think it’s just kind of such a massive adjustment period.
“This is something that is such so much bigger than us and the fans are gonna have fun and make their edits.”
After Cynthia said one of the edits “degrades” her, Ariana agreed that it can go “too far”.
She said: “I think so. And I have so much respect for my sister, Cynthia, and I love her so much. It’s just a big adjustment period. It’s so much stimulation about something that’s so much bigger than us.”
Reacting to one of the posters, Cynthia raged: “This is the wildest, most offensive thing I have seen equal to that awful AI of us fighting, equal to people posing the question ‘is your p*** green?”

Liam Payne ‘hurt’ when he was dropped by record label

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne reportedly felt “hurt” when he was dropped by his record label.
The tragic One Direction star – who died in Argentina last week after plunging from a hotel balcony – had recorded a follow-up to his 2019 debut album ‘LPI’ but reports suggested the record was shelved after the first single ‘Teardrops’ failed to chart in March – and now it’s been reported the singer was subsequently ditched by his label because bosses at Universal Music were concerned his new songs would fail to win over the pop band’s fan base.
A source told DailyMail.com: “Liam wanted to make the sort of music he enjoyed but his label believed it wouldn’t win over 1D fans so there were disagreements about the way his brand should have been marketed.
“The entire music industry is making cuts and restructuring to cut costs so Universal decided to drop Liam quietly and invest in other artists.”
The insider went on to add: “He didn’t need the money because he was wealthy, but yes it did hurt him because he was under constant pressure to compete with the other guys in the band.”
Liam previously opened up about his second solo album at a fan event and revealed all the songs told a story from his life.
He said: “This time, the scariest part is that every one of these songs is a story from my life. And they’re really close to me. I hope people feel that through every song, that I actually felt whatever it is you’re feeling right now listening to this.”
He added: “We’ve rewritten a lot of these songs based off the idea of where we’re going with this and also how I’m feeling as a person. “I used to show up to sing a song, then go. Absolutely not this time. We’re going to have fun with this.”

King Charles shares his ‘great joy’ on Australia visit

OHMYGOSSIP — King Charles feels “great joy” at being able to visit Australia for the first time as Sovereign.
The monarch has jetted Down Under with his wife Queen Camilla for his first visit the country since he ascended the throne following the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth in 2022 and during a speech at New South Wales Parliament House in Sydney on Sunday (20.10.24) the king revealed the trip has “renewed” his love of Australia.
Charles presented politicians there with an hourglass – which he dubbed a “speech timer” – to mark the 200th anniversary of its upper house and said: “With the sands of time encouraging brevity, it just remains for me to say what a great joy it is to come to Australia for the first time as Sovereign, and to renew a love of this country and its people which I have cherished for so long.”
He added: “Democratic systems must evolve, of course, to remain fit for purpose, but they are, nevertheless, essentially sound systems, as I said in this building 50 years ago.
“When underpinned by wisdom and good faith, democracy has, I believe, an extraordinary capacity for innovation, compromise and adaptability, as well as stability. Moreover, strong parliamentary systems, like the one we celebrate on this special occasion, are fundamental to the democracies that serve today’s diverse societies; and are even more vital, given the ever-changing natural, social, economic and technological environment.”
The royals landed in the country on Friday (18.10.24) and had a day of rest on Saturday (19.10.24) before getting the official visit underway on Sunday (20.10.24).
As well as visiting New South Wales Parliament House, the couple also headed to a church in a north Sydney suburb, where the King signed a Bible brought over with the First Fleet which he had previously signed alongside his late ex-wife Diana, Princess of Wales during their Australia trip together back in 1983.
The Bible has also been signed by other royals including William, Prince of Wales and his wife Catherine, Princess of Wales as well as Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.
During the visit to the church the couple were also presented with gifts for their grandchildren which included a rugby ball, a cricket ball and a koala cuddly toy.
The trip marks King Charles’ first foreign trip since his cancer diagnosis at the start of the year and he’s believed to have taken a short break from treatment to allow him to visit Australia. However, the trip is expected to be shorter than most royal tours and include more rest days to ensure the monarch does not get too tired.

Donald Trump works at McDonald’s to rile up fast-food chain’s former employee Kamala Harris

OHMYGOSSIP — Donald Trump got to live out of his dream of serving up fries in McDonald’s.
The 78-year-old Republican was campaigning in Pennsylvania as part of his bid to be reinstated as America’s President in the November 5 election on Sunday (20.10.24) and ended up donning one of his favourite fast-food chain’s aprons as he got behind the fryer at the store in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania.
As well as preparing the fries, Trump served them to customers at the drive-thru.
He admitted: “I like this job.
“I’m having a lot of fun here.”
The former ‘Apprentice’ star claimed he setup the McDonald’s opportunity to mock his rival Kamala Harris after she said she worked at one of their restaurants – because he didn’t believe her.
He said: “I’m looking for a job.
“And I’ve always wanted to work at McDonald’s, but I never did. I’m running against somebody that said she did, but it turned out to be a totally phony story.”
The 60-year-old Vice President worked at McDonald’s in Alameda, California, in 1983 whilst studying at Howard University in Washington.
Speaking on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ earlier this year, she said: “I did fries. And then I did the cashier.”
It’s been a hot topic, with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who is the Democratic nominee for vice president, quipping: “Can you simply picture Donald Trump working at a McDonald’s?
“He couldn’t run that damn McFlurry machine if it cost him anything.”
Trump has long expressed his love of fast-food, often having it ordered for guests to his events.
He once declared: “I think the food is good. I think all of those places, Burger King, McDonald’s, I can live with it.
“The other night I had Kentucky Fried Chicken. Not the worst thing in the world.”

Jelly Roll seemingly quits social media app X after threatening to ‘expose slimy music business’

OHMYGOSSIP — Jelly Roll has seemingly quit social media app X.
The 39-year-old country singer took to his page on the micro-blogging site – which was known as Twitter before billionaire businessman Elon Musk purchased it for $44 billion in 2022 and re-branded it as X – to brand the platform “toxic”.
He wrote: “This is for sure the most toxic negative app to exist ever — PERIOD. lol. This place is different man, I always heard it was the Wild West on here but man it’s insane . It’s a safe place for everyone to say mean s*** to each other with no consequences. I’m out lol (sic)”
His post come a day after he performed in tribute to Ozzy Osbourne at Saturday’s (19.10.24) Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.
Meanwhile, the musician – whose real name is Jason DeFord – recently vowed to “expose” the “slimy music business”.
He wrote last week: “Learned a lot about how slimy the music business is this week, don’t worry yall know I’m going to expose it soon. This whole thing is smoke and mirrors yall. (sic)”
Jelly then said he agreed with rapper Russ’ recent comments about the people “running” the music business.
Appearing on Andrew Schulz’s ‘Flagrant podcast’, the 32-year-old hip-hop star had said: “I learned that the whole industry is ran by… it’s a couple people. You know that guy at Spotify, that guy at Apple, you know this person at Rhythm Radio and this person at Urban Radio… between four people you can run the whole s***.”
He further accused executives in the industry of buying fake streams.
Russ said: “They never disclose the mechanics of how they actually fake the streams. But the reality is the labels are spending money… devil’s advocate, they’re treating it like a marketing expense. Because, in a sense, it almost is.”
Referencing his comments, Jelly wrote: “All that s*** Russ be talking about is REAL!”
His followers started speculating on what he could be preparing to address and took it a little too far, with Jelly promising to spill all on his wife Bunnie XO’s podcast ‘Dumb Blonde’ “soon”.
He later wrote: “Man yall made a mountain out of a molehill with this one. All these weirdly over dramatic comments about selling souls and satanic weird s*** is just weird lol. I’ll be talking about all this on my wife’s podcast soon. (sic)”

Liam Payne ‘to be honoured at MTV Awards’

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne will reportedly be honoured at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Manchester next month.
The One Direction star died after plunging from a balcony at a hotel in Argentina last week and his death has sent fans across the world into mourning – and now a new report suggests he will be remembered onstage at the glittering prizegiving when it takes place in the UK on November 10 amid reports the show will be hosted by his friend and former collaborator Rita Ora.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Bosses have all agreed that they want to host a tribute to Liam during next month’s MTV EMAs.
“In the coming days they will start drawing up official plans.
“Officially Rita is yet to be announced, but she is hosting this year’s awards and will be involved in whatever MTV decides to do.
“She and Liam have been close for years and grew in the industry together. Obviously she is devastated by his passing.”
Liam and Rita previously worked together on 2018 single ‘For You’ which featured on the ‘Fifty Shades Freed ‘ soundtrack and the singer shared her grief over his passing in an emotional performance of the song in Japan last week.
Rita appeared to break down in tears as she told the audience in Osaka: “I can’t even sing this right now – can you do it for me?”
She later mouthed: “I’m sorry” before walking offstage to compose herself.
The MTV EMAs were previously held in the UK back in 2017 and Rita helped with hosting duties while Liam performed his solo single ‘Strip That Down’ during the show.
The 31-year-old singer’s tragic death shocked the world on October 16. The pop star died from “multiple traumas” that caused “internal and external bleeding” after he plunged from a third-floor balcony at the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires.
In a statement, his family said: “Liam will forever live in our hearts and we’ll remember him for his kind, funny and brave soul. “We are supporting each other the best we can as a family and ask for privacy and space at this awful time.”
His 1D bandmates Louis Tomlinson, 32, Zayn Malik, 31, Niall Horan, also 31, and 30-year-old Harry Styles – who were catapulted to global fame after being put together on ‘The X Factor’ in 2010 – have all paid moving tributes.

Britney Spears has ‘married herself’

OHMYGOSSIP — Britney Spears has declared she has “married myself” a year after the breakdown of her marriage to Sam Asghari.
The pop superstar wed her third husband Sam in 2023 but the union broke down after just 14 months and they reached a divorce settlement in May – Britney has now shared a video of herself wearing a white dress and a wedding veil and declared she’s tied the knot with herself.
In a post on Instagram, she wrote: “The day I married myself … Bringing it back because it might seem embarrassing or stupid, but I think it’s the most brilliant thing I’ve ever done !!!”
Britney’s first husband was her childhood friend Jason Alexander but their marriage was annulled just 55 hours after they tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2004.
She went on to wed dancer Kevin Federline later that year and they became parents to two sons before splitting in 2007. Britney married for a third time in 2022 when she wed Sam but they split the following summer in August 2023.
After her third marriage ended, Britney opened up about her new relationship status and revealed it felt “weird” to be single.
In a post on Instagram, she explained: “It’s so weird being single. I’ve realised I don’t talk to myself that nicely at all. I’m easily manipulated and wear my heart on my sleeve, but I’m definitely changing all of that.
“I have to make time to stop and look around to re-evaluate myself and say is this good for me ??? I like a routine and I usually do the same thing every day …. l’m honestly bored but I’m also scared of a lot of things …
“The way I live my life is mine … I’ve had so many people interfere with that … But to know it’s ok to be selfish with my life and enjoy it is amazing !!!”

Liam Payne sought advice from Simon Cowell

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne still sought “advice and direction” from Simon Cowell in the months before he died.
The 31-year-old singer – who passed away on Wednesday (16.10.24) after falling from the balcony of his hotel room in Argentina – remained close to his mentor even after One Direction went their separate ways in 2016 and enjoyed taking his and ex-girlfriend Cheryl Tweedy’s seven-year-old son Bear to hang out with the TV talent show boss and his boy Eric, 10.
Simon’s brother, Tony Cowell, told Britain’s OK! magazine: “Throughout the years, he always kept in touch with Simon.
“Only a few months ago, he visited Simon at his house in the Cotswolds and took Bear along because he knew Simon’s son Eric would be there.
“He felt so comfortable being with Eric and Simon.
“He still looked to Simon for advice and direction. Through the years, when he’s dealt with different problems and been trying to find his feet, Simon would always try to help. They had such respect for each other.
“Liam wasn’t looking for approval but he wanted to learn what he could do better, whether it was on stage, as a father or as a friend. He was so kind, had time for everybody and cared so deeply.
“He developed as an artist and a performer, but he always retained that down-to-earth kindness. He made time for everybody and was so thoughtful and generous.”
Tony got to know Liam well during his time on ‘The Factor’ in 2010 and he believes the decision for One Direction to go on hiatus led to the beginning of the ‘Strip That Down’ star’s personal demons.
He said: “It was hard for him, watching some of the other boys doing their own thing.
“None of us knows what it was like to stand in their shoes and experience the highs and the lows that they went through.
“I think the band breaking up was the beginning for Liam of losing his way.
“He’d been watching Harry’s career fly, becoming a superstar across the world as a solo artist. That must have really hurt him as he wondered what he was going to do.
“He didn’t want to take anything away from the other’s success but was a little lost in himself. Being around the warmth of our family seemed to help him.”

Shia LaBeouf appeals for judge intervention in FKA Twigs lawsuit

OHMYGOSSIP — Shia LaBeouf has accused FKA Twigs of “gamesmanship”.
The ‘Transformers’ actor was the subject of a $10 million lawsuit from his former girlfriend – who he started dating after they met on the set of ‘Honey Boy’ in 2018 – in December 2020, in which she accused him of sexual battery and “relentless” abuse, but he’s now asked a judge to intervene in their long-running dispute because of the 36-year-old singer’s deposition.
Shia – who has denied allegations of wrongdoing and wanted the case thrown out – accused the ‘Crow’ actress of refusing to sit for her deposition until he has his, despite lawyers having tried for a year to interview Twigs.
Documents obtained by In Touch magazine stated: “[FKA] attests that Shia’s alleged actions have resulted in severe emotional and mental distress affecting her ability to work as long hours and perform as often as before. However, [FKA] is working so much that she has been too busy over the past two years to even appear for her deposition.
“Now, with trial looming, [FKA] seeks to depose Shia first, even though Shia noticed [FKA’s] deposition first, and [FKA’s] counsel has acknowledged the principle of deposition priority.”
The documents claimed Twigs told the 38-year-old star’s team she was only available to sit for her deposition on 27 September and no other day, but when the ‘Fury’ actor said he could undergo his on 11 October, he alleged the ‘Cellophane’ hitmaker did an “about face” and asked to move hers to 15 October so “she could purportedly attend Shia’s deposition on October 11″.
Shia’s lawyer added: “[Twigs’] desire to attend Shia’s deposition, however, did not require him to be deposed first. Thus, Shia agreed to depose [Twigs’] on her new requested date of October 15, 2024, and Shia made himself available for deposition on October 17, 2024.”
The lawyer accused the singer – whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett – of then retaliating by refusing to appear for deposition on the new requested date.
The lawyer added: “What’s more, [Twigs] has now claimed – with no explanation whatsoever – that she had ‘priority’ and that she is not available for her deposition until December of 2024. Never mind that she had been available on September 27 and then October 15.
“[FKA’s] supposed unavailability is a matter of strategy, not schedule. She wants to see what Shia remembers so she can try and avoid her misstatements. That is not a basis for upsetting the parties’ agreed upon deposition schedule, nor for deviating from Shia’s deposition priority.”
Twigs’ lawyer has blasted Shia and his team for their “nonsense”.
Bryan J. Freedman said: “Since the time Shia has admitted his wrongful behaviour, he has repeatedly interfered with the discovery process by failing to produce relevant documents and by failing to appear for his deposition in a timely manner. We are seeking the courts intervention to stop this nonsense.”
A judge has yet to rule on the matter.

John Farnham unable to sing after cancer battle

OHMYGOSSIP — John Farnham’s cancer battle has left him unable to sing.
While the 75-year-old Australian singer is now cancer-free after undergoing treatment including extensive surgery to remove a cancerous tumour from his mouth, he admitted that the procedure has affected his ability to fully open his mouth and sing.
Writing in his upcoming memoir, ‘The Voice Inside’, which has been previewed in the Sydney Morning Herald, John explained: “My facial disfigurement from the surgery means I can’t open my mouth wide enough for a strip of spaghetti, let alone to sing.
“I can’t get the movement to make the sounds I want to make, that’s where the vibrations and my voice come from. It’s a very disconcerting thing. And trying hurts.”
However, he is hopeful that he will be able to sing again in the future.
He wrote: “I was given a gift and to be able to get out there and affect people in some way was special, I would like to continue doing that. Though I am not putting all my hopes into it, we’ll see.”
John also revealed that he believes his devastating oral cancer was caused by his previous smoking habit.
He said: “Cancer doesn’t discriminate, but as soon as I was told the results, I couldn’t help thinking it was my own fault, I smoked very heavily all my life.”
Meanwhile, speaking previously about his book, John said: “I don’t enjoy talking about myself, I really don’t.
“Don’t get me wrong, I’m an egomaniac, but dredging up the past is just not something I’ve ever really enjoyed.
“I’ll try and share as much as I can, but that’s not easy because I’ve never really been that open. I guess there are reasons for that. Reasons for my reluctance.”

Louis Tomlinson’s ex-girlfriend pays tribute to Liam Payne

OHMYGOSSIP — Louis Tomlinson’s ex-girlfriend has revealed that Liam Payne was a “tremendous support” to her in the past few years.
Eleanor Calder, 32 – who dated Louis from 2011 to 2015 and 2017 to 2022 – explained that Louis’ One Direction bandmate Liam looked out for her when she moved into a new flat.
She wrote on Instagram Stories: “I wasn’t sure whether to post anything on here as I usually navigate loss and grief privately, but it feels strange not to. [Liam’s] passing has hit me really hard.
“Over the past couple of years, Liam has been a huge support for me and I’d like to think I was for him too. He would regularly check in to ask how I was feeling and if I was okay. When I first moved into my flat, he drew paintings of my dogs and I to put on the walls — he said he hoped it would help with making it feel like home… one of the many examples of his kindness and creativity.
“I can only hope that he is at peace now and will forever wish that his story ended differently. … My heart goes out to those that knew and loved him for the person he was.”
Liam died in Buenos Aires, Argentina earlier this week at the age of just 31, when he plunged from his hotel balcony.
His father Geoff has flown to the South American country to repatriate Liam’s body.
He has been accompanied by Paul Higgins, Founding Director of All Star Security, who previously worked as a bodyguard for One Direction.
