OHMYGOSSIP — Noel and Liam Gallagher are among the names to be honoured on the Manchester Walk of Fame.
The famous feuding brothers and former Oasis bandmates make up two of the 20 names to be given a star on the temporary walk that is being installed to mark the launch of The Liquor Store – a new bar on First Street.
The bar is situated opposite the building which used to be home to the famous Hacienda nightclub, and co-owner Doug Waldron said it “seemed fitting” to open the bar by celebrating some of the city’s “most prolific stars”.
He said: “Manchester is at the heart of everything we do at the Liquor Store and with First Street being an artistic breeding ground, located opposite the famous Hacienda building, it seemed fitting to open our new bar by celebrating some of the city’s most prolific stars.”
The 20 stars were compiled out of a poll held by the owners of the bar, with the most voted for names receiving a temporary star.
Alongside the ‘Wonderwall’ hitmakers, former Smiths frontman Morrissey, late Factory Records boss’ Tony Wilson, and Stone Roses rocker Ian Brown have also secured themselves a place on the Walk of Fame.
Late actress Caroline Aherne, Paralympian Dame Sarah Storey, and Professor Brian Cox also made the cut.
The walk is only a temporary feature, and the stars will be removed from the street on Monday October 10.
The Liquor Store opens on October 8, and claims to offer a “vintage Los Angeles vibe with strong Mancunian influence”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Cowell will continue as a judge on ‘America’s Got Talent’ until 2019.
The 56-year-old music mogul – one of the co-creators of the show – has proved a hit with his first stint on the panel this year so NBC bosses are thrilled to have extended his contract for another three seasons.
NBC Entertainment alternative and reality group president Paul Telegdy said in a statement: “It was terrific to see Simon in his judge’s chair this past season, bringing his unique expertise and enthusiasm to the show, night after night.
“His brilliance has made ‘America’s Got Talent’ the industry leader that it is today and his ability to evaluate and spot talent is unmatched, so we couldn’t be happier to have him seated at the judge’s table for the next three years.”
Simon has had a great time working with fellow judges Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Mel B this year, so is looking forward to returning.
He said: “‘America’s Got Talent’ is a fantastic and — most importantly — fun show both to work on and to watch.
“NBC have been brilliant partners and the entire team who make this show are one of the best in the world. I’ve loved this past season and look forward to discovering more great talent together in the years to come.”
Co-producers FremantleMedia North America are confident having the Syco boss on the show will ensure the programme discovers a high level of talent.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West had a “nervous breakdown” after his disastrous Yeezy fashion show.
The 39-year-old rapper has reportedly fired 30 members of staff following his clothing line’s much-maligned New York Fashion Show presentation, in which models fainted and could barely walk in ill-fitting shoes.
A source told New York Post’s Page Six column: “He [Kanye] had his agent fire all 30 of his staff after the fashion show and got rid of his phone so people can only contact him via e-mail. He had a nervous breakdown after the show, and that’s what triggered it all.”
However, another source close to the ‘Famous’ rapper claimed that whilst the star was undoubtedly upset with how the show had been received, he had not suffered from a “breakdown”.
They told the publication: “He didn’t have a ‘nervous breakdown.’ Some people got let go, and there was a reorganisation of others who he moved back to the music side of things. He’s a grown-up. He was reflective and disappointed in how things went . . . He took stock in what people were saying and he was disappointed. But he’s more determined than ever to get that stuff right. And as far as throwing away his cellphone? If he did, then it’s not the first time. He always does that.”
It certainly wouldn’t be the first time the ‘Gold Digger’ hitmaker has discarded his phone, as he recently tweeted that he would be ditching the device in order to be more creative.
He wrote: “I got rid of my phone so I can have air to create.”
For the time being, Kanye – who has children North, three, and Saint, nine months, with wife Kim Kardashian West – is leaving his fashion flop behind him as he focuses his efforts into his music and his ‘Saint Pablo Tour’.
The insider added: “The tour is breaking attendance records. It’s been amazing for Kanye.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Caitlyn Jenner is “so thankful” Kim Kardashian West is “okay”.
The 66-year-old television personality – who was formerly known as Bruce Jenner prior to her gender transition earlier this year – is relieved to hear her step-daughter is safe and well after five thieves dressed as policemen robbed her at gunpoint in her apartment in Paris, France, and stole more than $10 million worth of jewels on Monday (03.10.16).
The ‘I Am Cait’ star – who was previously married to Kim’s mother Kris Jenner – took to social media to show her concern.
Alongside a black and white photo of Kim, which was shared on Caitlyn’s Instagram account, she wrote: “Love my girl! After hearing the full story, I’m so thankful she’s okay. It’s a reminder for us all to be careful in the uncertainty of this world (sic).”
However, the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner gang, including the ‘Selfish’ author, have remained quiet on social media since the incident earlier this week.
Meanwhile, the ‘Selfish’ author’s bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, is adamant the culprits will be found.
Speaking previously, he said: “The events that occurred in Paris was one of the most sickening things I have seen or heard.
“We have tips and leads and we will find you. That I promise you…you messed with the wrong one.”
Police sources have revealed Kim was tailed by two men in the days before the robbery, with the suspects – described as Caucasian and North African and having French accents – posing as a plain-clothes detective and a photographer to gain ‘close surveillance’ information ahead of the terrifying incident.
A source said: “Kim Kardashian was tailed for at least three days before the robbery.
“We know there was one man who pretended to be a photographer who followed the American celebrity on a motorbike to find out her whereabouts. Another man pretended to be a plain-clothed detective to try to get a seat next to her at the exclusive Ferdi restaurant on Thursday night.
“But both men were fakes.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Matthew Broderick wants to go on more dates with Sarah Jessica Parker.
The couple – who have son James, 13, and twins Tabitha and Loretta, seven, together – enjoy going out for “simple” meals together but the 54-year-old actor only wishes they could get quality one-on-one time more often.
He said: “It’s something we should do more of because you end up taking care of the kids all the time.
“Date night is very simple. We go to eat somewhere nice, and we do that fairly often.”
The couple will celebrate 20 years of marriage next year and Matthew thinks their marriage is so successful because they have shared values.
He told amNewYork: “We’re very good friends. Humour helps a lot. … We agree about children, mostly — so all that helps.”
And the ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ star thinks being “kind” is the most important quality a husband can have.

While Sarah and Matthew seem to have a perfect marriage, the 51-year-old actress admitted it is her fascination with imperfect relationships that lead to her TV return in new comedy ‘Divorce’.
She explained: “I was really interested in more stories of marriages and relationships and how different they all look.
“In particular, ‘What does disappointment look like?’ and ‘How do you find humour in failure?’ and, some might say, the story of an American marriage. I’d say it’s also an attempt at divorce.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West is “not doing so good” after being tied up and robbed at gunpoint on Monday (03.10.16).
The 35-year-old reality TV star’s best friend Jonathan Cheban has given an update on his pal after she endured a horrific ordeal in Paris, France, when five armed, masked men stormed into her apartment, tied her up with plastic handcuffs, and duct tape, and stole more than $10 million worth of jewellery.
Speaking to MailOnline outside Kim’s New York apartment, he said: “She’s not doing so good.”
Jonathan arrived at Kim’s flat clutching what appeared to be a gift bag for the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star, who was left “hysterical” after the shocking incident took place in the French capital city.
Kim’s former bodyguard Steve Stanulis claims the incident, in which the gang were dressed as policemen, was an “inside job”, and admits he wasn’t too surprised because she is “very lax” about security.
Speaking to Australian radio station KIIS 1065, he said: “It was totally an inside job guys, the way the whole thing it unfolded it was too clean.
“When I say inside job, it’s either somebody from their camp or somebody from the hotel.
“They got into a room when the only security guard was out, and they knew where the jewellery was.
“It was the perfect opportunity on every level.”
Discussing her and husband Kanye West’s relaxed views on security, he added: “I’d be waiting for Kanye to come out a restaurant.
“He’d come out with a couple of buddies, there wouldn’t be room for me in the car so he’d tell me to get a taxi.
“When you follow them in New York he likes you 10 paces behind. If somebody tackles you, I’m not going to get there to stop it.”
However, officers suspect the raid was carried out by a “sophisticated international criminal organisation”.
A source said: “We know the licence plate of one of the vehicles used, a Fiat 500, and a photograph of one of the suspects. They both appear to be French and highly professional.
“But this kind of robbery could only have been carried out by a sophisticated international criminal organisation.
“It would have to be if they had any hope of re-classify the stolen jewels and sell them again.”
Kim’s security guard Pascal Duvier has come under fire because he was out with her sisters Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian at the time of the incident, but he has vowed to track down the robbers.

The 25-year-old basketball player is so worried about his beau following the attack on her sister Kim Kardashian West in Paris earlier this week, that he’s called for extra protection when she comes to see his Cleveland Cavaliers games.
A source told HollywoodLife.com: “He wants her to be at every home game that she can possibly attend and has asked Cavs executives for extra security when she’s in the building.
“No disrespect to LeBron [James], but Tristan wants Khloé to be more protected at the arena than Savannah [James]!”
Tristan’s worries come after Khloé’s 35-year-old sister went through a horrific ordeal on Monday (03.10.16) when five thieves dressed as policemen robbed her at gunpoint in her apartment in Paris, during which they tied her hands with plastic handcuffs, duct taped her, and stole more than $10 million worth of jewels.

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift thinks Demi Lovato’s comments were “unnecessary”.
The ‘Cool for the Summer’ hitmaker caused a stir on Tuesday (04.10.16) when she slammed the 26-year-old singer’s squad for using her song ‘Bad Blood’ to fuel her ongoing feud with fellow musician Katy Perry.
A source says that isn’t the case, and thinks 24-year-old Demi is just jealous of her “tight group of women”.
The source told E!: “Taylor has a tight group of women in her life that all have her and each others’ back and sometimes people just want that.
“She thought it was unnecessary for her to make those comments. They both have never been really good friends.”
In the original comments made by the ‘Confident’ singer, she calls out Taylor and her friends – who include Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, and Karlie Kloss – for “tearing down Katy Perry”.
She said: “I think that having a song and a video about tearing Katy Perry down, that’s not women’s empowerment.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kid Cudi has checked into rehab for “depression and suicidal urges”.
The 32-year-old hip hop star has checked himself into a facility after admitting he is a “damaged human” who struggles to leave the house on a daily basis or trust anyone because of his anxiety, and while he is “scared” and “nervous” about the process, he is determined to get better.
He wrote on his Facebook page: “Its been difficult for me to find the words to what Im about to share with you because I feel ashamed. Ashamed to be a leader and hero to so many while admitting I’ve been living a lie. It took me a while to get to this place of commitment, but it is something I have to do for myself, my family, my best friend/daughter and all of you, my fans.
Yesterday I checked myself into rehab for depression and suicidal urges.
I am not at peace. I haven’t been since you’ve known me. If I didn’t come here, I wouldve done something to myself. I simply am a damaged human swimming in a pool of emotions everyday of my life. Theres a ragin violent storm inside of my heart at all times. Idk what peace feels like. Idk how to relax. My anxiety and depression have ruled my life for as long as I can remember and I never leave the house because of it. I cant make new friends because of it. I dont trust anyone because of it and Im tired of being held back in my life. I deserve to have peace. I deserve to be happy and smiling. Why not me? The ‘Since U Been Gone’ hitmaker – who has River Rose, two, and five-month-old Remington Alexander, with her husband Brandon Blackstock – feels becoming a mother has helped her to “cut out all the bulls**t”.
She said: “Having kids cuts out all the bulls**t in the sense that I don’t have time to do stuff I don’t want to do anymore. I don’t have time to make you feel like it was your idea. I just don’t have time for it anymore, so it definitely cuts through the bulls**t and you just go straight for what you want …
“It sounds so cheesy, but I feel way more confident, way more empowered and way more like I’ve got this. You just have so much going on all the time, especially because I’m a working mom – so many moving parts and so much navigation – that I just feel like I can do anything. And the 34-year-old singer says being a mother to two beautiful children is “very inspiring”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kristen Bell knew she had become a fully-fledged adult when she realised she had to “get over” the annoying things.
The ‘Frozen’ star – who has Lincoln, three, and 21-month-old Delta with her husband Dax Shepard – thinks the key to enjoying life is to stay positive.
She said: “I think you become an official card-carrying adult the day you realise you just have to get over it. Most petty annoyances are a sample math equation: You + someone/something = positive outcome/negative outcome.
“Since you can’t control anyone else’s actions, you can only affect 50 percent of that equation. But when you relinquish control over the other half, your 50 percent turns into 100 percent and your sum is almost always positive.”
And the 36-year-old actress feels it is important to share these positivities with her children as it encourages them to “look past boundaries”.
She added to the November issue of Parents magazine, which she is also guest-editing: “It helps them to look past boundaries. I don’t want my kids to be restricted by country lines, religious beliefs, or languages. I want them to see the whole of mankind: It makes everything less scary, more accessible.

The ‘Orange Is The New Black’ star and the show’s writer are set to walk down the aisle after Lauren asked for Samira’s hand in marriage.
Sharing a picture of the couple, the 29-year-old actress – who showed off her stunning ring – simply wrote: “Yes.”
Taking to Twitter, Lauren thanked their fans for the celebratory messages, adding: “You guys! Thank you for all of the lovely messages and hysterical crying gifs. We love you too!”
The pair have been dating since 2014 after Lauren split from her husband Steve Basilone after two years as man and wife.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kiefer Sutherland decided not to give up alcohol because he “enjoys it too much”.
The ‘Designated Survivor’ star has revealed his reasons for not opting to go teetotal.
He said: “I enjoy the times too much, and the memories. I have, at times, for stretches of time.
“But at some point, I’ve made a decision, right or wrong, for myself that I would rather work really hard so I could still have some of those times. Than to just simply stop. That’s a choice I’ve made and I live with that choice.”
And the 49-year-old actor admits there have been times where he “felt he let alcohol get away from him” but insists he has never been the kind of guy to “go drown his sorrows”.
Speaking in an episode of The Jess Cagle Interview, he added: “I was never the guy, if something was wrong in my life or something wasn’t right, I didn’t go drown my sorrows. One of the things I love to do is go out with my friends and tell stories and have a bunch of drinks. That’s true.
“Having said that, I can also look back on my life and tell you very squarely that the only bad things that have ever happened to me in my life have been because I like to go to bars and have drinks with my friends. I would be lying if I told you that there weren’t moments where I felt I let it get away from me. So it’s kind of been a push and pull through my life.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams is to receive the BRITs Icon Award.
The ‘Let Me Entertain You’ hitmaker will pick up the prestigious gong and celebrate with a gig at London’s Troxy next month.
He said: “It’s a real honour for me to be given this award and I can’t wait to play songs from my new album, and from my catalogue, at the Troxy on 7th November.
“The BRIT Awards are very special to me, and I’m humbled to be receiving the 18th of my career next month.”
The 42-year-old singer will take fans through his back catalogue of songs for the one-off show and he is promising some surprises for his supporters too.
For fans who are unable to get tickets, a 90-minute special will be aired on ITV later in the year and will also feature interviews with Robbie and those close to him who have helped to influence his life and career.

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Lovato split from Wilmer Valderrama because she wanted a “fresh start”.
The ‘Cool For The Summer’ hitmaker ended her relationship with the 36-year-old actor earlier this year and whilst she initially found it “hard to depart” from him, she feels it was for the best.
She said: “I think it’s healthy to be able to start over with someone else. Being sick was always a part of my relationship with him; I always had something wrong with me. I needed to let go of that.
“It was hard to depart from somebody who saw everything, but it may be nice to start fresh with somebody. Because that person I was when I was a lot younger is not who I am today.”
And the 24-year-old singer has been looking to her close pal Nick Jonas to act as her wingman now she is single.
She added to the November issue of Glamour magazine: “We’re definitely each other’s wingman/woman. There was one night in New York where he introduced me to somebody. And Nick and I looked at each other and high-fived each other.”
Meanwhile, Demi previously admitted people “looked at her differently” when she returned from rehab.
She said: “I think people looked at me differently. I wanted to prove to people that I wasn’t just a stereotypical Hollywood starlet who goes to rehab and falls back into the trap of the things that got her there. I wanted to make sure that the music that I made was great and that I was passionate about the music that I put out and I sang my heart out.
