Salma Hayek: Donald Trump planted story because I turned him down

OHMYGOSSIP — Salma Hayek says Donald Trump planted a story about her because she rejected his romantic advances.
The ‘Sausage Party’ actress has claimed the 70-year-old US presidential hopeful – who is 20 years her senior – harassed her for a date and when she refused him he leaked fake information to the National Enquirer newspaper saying he had, in fact, turned her down because of her height.
She said: “When I met that man, I had a boyfriend, and he tried to become his friend to get my home telephone number. He got my number and he would call me to invite me out.
“When I told him I wouldn’t go out with him even if I didn’t have a boyfriend, [which he took as disrespectful], he called – well, he wouldn’t say he called, but someone (from his camp) told the National Enquirer.
“Someone told the National Enquirer. I’m not going to say who, because you know that whatever he wants to come out comes out in the National Enquirer. It said that he wouldn’t go out with me because I was too short.”
Salma – who is now married to billionaire businessman François-Henri Pinault with whom she has eight-year-old daughter Valentina – revealed Donald called her after and tried to convince her they should prove the story was incorrect by dating.
Speaking about his bizarre pick-up method, she told Radio Centro 93.9’s ‘El Show del Mandril: “Later, he called and left me a message. ‘Can you believe this? Who would say this? I don’t want people to think this about you.’ He thought that I would try to go out with him so people wouldn’t think that’s why he wouldn’t go out with me.”

Chrissy Teigen wants to meet Prince William and Kate

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen wants to meet Britain’s Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
The 30-year-old model – who is married to singer John Legend – expressed her wish to hang out with the hip royal couple to her 2.8 million Twitter followers and asked them how she’d go about setting up a date.
On Saturday (22.10.16) she penned: “How do I make an appointment to hang out with Prince William and Kate Middleton is there a sign up sheet (sic)”
Chrissy and Catherine – as she’s been formally known since she married Prince William in 2011 – would have much to discuss since they both have young children and are scrutnised by the public nearly every day.
Chrissy recently had to defend herself and call out “mummy shamers” who attacked her online over the way she was holding her six month old daughter Luna recently.
Chrissy blasted her critics and those who judged her parenting skills and when one fan tweeted a picture of Chrissy carrying her daughter and said “this is not how a baby is held” she fumed back: “Really because that’s how I’m f***ing holding her.”
She then posted a follow-up tweet which read: “Photos are literally split-second moments in time that evolve. I despise mommy shamers. I am a proud shamer of mommy shamers. (sic)”
The onslaught of tweets didn’t stop there, as she then received another tweet that claimed she was holding Luna in an “incorrect” way.
The tweet read: “There are incorrect ways to hold infants whether shielding her from a fire or pap! (sic)”
Chrissy simply responded: “Please, do shut up.”
The news comes just a few weeks after the beauty made her Twitter account private, claiming she wasn’t “strong enough” to allow the whole world to see her tweets. Now, only those users she has approved are able to see her updates.

Benedict Cumberbatch: I don't have a bucket list

OHMYGOSSIP — Benedict Cumberbatch doesn’t have a “bucket list”
The 40-year-old actor – who has 16-month-old son Christopher and is expecting his second child with wife Sophie – has experienced a number of personal and professional achievements recently but doesn’t see reaching his goals as a box ticking exercise.
Benedict – who was speaking on the set of his new movie ‘Doctor Strange’ – said: “I don’t really have a bucket list. I have, though, in the past, undergone one of the most life-changing moments in my personal life, and also ‘Hamlet’, and now I’m here. The joy of it is in the contrast. I literally flew off to Kathmandu (to film ‘Doctor Strange) two days after we finished ‘Hamlet’. It was a massive gear change, but I love what it is to be part of this huge body of work and people. It’s great fun.”
Meanwhile, the star plays the legendary English detective Sherlock Holmes in BBC drama ‘Sherlock’ and Marvel superhero and neuroscientist Doctor Strange in the upcoming eponymous movie but joked his “pea-sized brain” will never fully understand science.
He told The Guardian newspaper: “You know, every time I dig a little bit deeper into science with my pea-sized brain, I hit a wall.
“I have a sense of wonder at what is beyond our understanding. There is wonder in logic, and, whether on the macro or micro scale, it just gets bizarre, extraordinary and unfathomable. And we have only five senses to understand and appreciate it, whether it’s theoretical physics or microbiology or circadian rhythms. It’s incredible.”

Shannen Doherty reveals her fear of dying in post about chemo

OHMYGOSSIP — Cancer stricken Shannen Doherty sometimes feels like she isn’t “going to make it.”
The 45-year-old actress has been fighting the deadly disease since July and admitted she has moments when she fears she’s going to die but “it passes”.
Alongside a heartbreaking photograph of Shannen lying on her side on a hospital bed after a round of chemo-therapy, she wrote: “#fbf to a very short bit ago. Day after #chemoday isn’t always so great. Sometimes one isn’t able to dance, or eat or even to think about the next day. Sometimes it just feels like you aren’t going to make it. That passes. Sometimes the next day or 2 days later or 6 but it passes and movement is possible. Hope is possible. Possibility is possible. To my cancer family and everyone suffering…. stay courageous. Stay strong. Stay positive. #wegotthis. #fightlikeagirl (sic)”
Shannen also praised her friend Sarah Michelle Gellar for helping her get through her ordeal.
Alongside a picture of them with Shannen’s oncologist Dr Lawrence Piro, she penned: “It’s so important when battling a disease like cancer to have friends like @sarahmgellar thank you for always having my back and educating all about this disease. Love you.”
Meanwhile, despite her ill-health, Shannen insisted she feels blessed as she is now “much more in touch” with who she is.
She said previously: “I’ve been given a really interesting opportunity and one that in a way, I kind of feel blessed. Cancer has, in a strange way, done some amazing things for me. It’s allowed me to be more me, like much more in touch with who I am, and much more vulnerable and the person that I always was, but I think it got hidden behind a lot of other stuff.
“I hope people take away the fact that you have to be strong and put yourself out there and have courage and be a warrior. And for me, one of the most important things is for them, their messages, their stories, their love, their support has given me courage. And I thank them for that wholeheartedly.”
Shannen was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2015 and recently settled her lawsuit against her former manager, who she accused of mismanaging her insurance premiums and allowing her health insurance to lapse last year, leading to a delay in her breast cancer diagnosis.
Shannen’s diagnosis was made public in August 2015 when she filed her lawsuit against her former management and accounting firm.

Bob Dylan slammed as 'arrogant' for Nobel silence

OHMYGOSSIP — Bob Dylan has been slammed as “impolite and arrogant” for refusing to comment on his Nobel Prize win.
Academy member Per Wastberg is frustrated with the ‘Blowin’ in the Wind’ hitmaker because he’s failed to speak publicly about being named the winner of the award for Literature and reportedly hasn’t even returned numerous calls from the Nobel committee.
Per Wastberg told Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter: “One can say that it is impolite and arrogant… He is who he is.”
He added: “We were aware that he can be difficult and that he does not like appearances when he stands alone on the stage”.
Last week a notice on the 75-year-old star’s website featured the text “WINNER OF THE NOBEL PRIZE IN LITERATURE” in a piece promoting a book of his lyrics however it was later removed.
And Dylan’s decision to not acknowledge the accolade has led some to believe he will bail on the prize-giving ceremony in Stockholm on 10 December.
However Swedish Academy permanent secretary Sara Danius – who announced the news Dylan was going to be the first singer/songwriter to receive the Nobel Prize for Literature on October 13 – said she was “not at all worried”.
She told Swedish state radio SR: “I think he will show up.
“If he doesn’t want to come, he won’t come. It will be a big party in any case and the honour belongs to him.”
President Barack Obama took the time to congratulate Dylan on Twitter and said the legendary folk rock singer was his one of his “favorite poets”.
He penned: “Congratulations to one of my favorite poets, Bob Dylan, on a well-deserved Nobel.”
The ‘Like A Rolling Stone’ singer was chosen for the prestigious accolade “for having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition”, according to Sara Danius, permanent Secretary of the Nobel Foundation.
Dylan – who changed his real name from Robert Zimmerman to his stage name because he was inspired by Welsh poet Dylan Thomas – is also the first American to win the accolade since novelist Toni Morrison in 1993.

Michael Buble: 'I only became a singer for sex'

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Buble only became a singer for sex.
The 41-year-old singer is now happily married to Luisana Lopilato, the mother of his two children – Noah, three, and Elias, eight months, with his wife – but admits that he first entered the music industry in order to attract women.
Speaking on Ireland’s ‘The Late Late Show’, he said: “I believe that many of us human beings who happen to be male want to be in any professional [career] so that we can be more attractive to the same or opposite sex because we enjoy sex as human beings.
“I was 13 years old and I thought to myself ‘Wow, that would be an aphrodisiac, to get famous and have a girl kiss me finally’.”
Michael also revealed that he has been asked not to speak about his wife in interviews for fear of alienating his fans but he thinks his followers can cope with hearing about his love for his spouse.
He explained: “I think at some point you grow up and hopefully you mature and hopefully my travels around the world have given me a better view on things.
“People in my life say to me, ‘Please don’t speak about your wife.’ They say, ‘Your kids, that’s cool.’
“There are people that believe there’s a certain fantasy or something that I think is b*****ks. I don’t think people buy things, I think people buy people.
“I just don’t think there are that many axe murderers out there that are sitting in my fanbase going ‘Maybe I can fix him.'”

Jon Hamm: 'End of Mad Men was like a death'

OHMYGOSSIP — Jon Hamm treated the end of ‘Mad Men’ “like a death”.
The 45-year-old actor admitted when the show finished in 2015 he found it difficult to cope and his therapist recommended “mourning” the show.
He explained to The Times magazine: “It’s like mourning. You go through all the stages of grief. There’s denial and anger and then finally acceptance – you have to go through the whole process. If you try to do stiff-upper-lip through the whole thing, it will come back and bite you eventually. My therapist said, “You should treat this like a death and mourn it.” I found that very helpful.”
Jon has been seeing a therapist since his father died 25 years ago and is enthusiastic about seeking professional help for mental health.
He explained: “I love my therapist. After I’d lost my dad, I had this horrible paralysing inertia – and no one in my family was capable of dealing with it. So what do you do? See a professional. Go and see someone who’s studied this stuff. You don’t skip on going to a dentist or get your cousin to try to fix your teeth. So I preach it from the mountaintops. I know it’s a luxury and it’s not something everyone can afford. But if you can, do it. It’s like a mental gym.”
Jon also spent time in rehab for alcoholism after ‘Mad Men’ ended but says it is not just for people dealing with addictions.
He explained: “It has all these connotations, but it’s just an extended period of talking about yourself. People go for all sorts of reasons, not all of which are chemically related. But there’s something to be said for pulling yourself out of the grind for a period of time and concentrating on recalibrating the system. And it works. It’s great.”
Meanwhile, Jon and his partner Jennifer Westfeldt split soon after ‘Mad Men’ ended and he admitted he is unsure if he will ever have children.
He said: “I don’t know. I don’t think it’s necessarily an imperative. I’m not going to psychoanalyse myself here but … well, never say never. I’ve got nieces and nephews and I’ve been a teacher. I’ve probably been around kids a lot more than all my friends. I feel if you shut that off entirely, you calcify.”

Kim Kardashian: 'I can handle fame'

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West insisted she could handle the pitfalls of fame, in an interview conducted before her terrifying Paris ordeal.
The 36-year-old reality TV star attributed her career to social media and admitted that the lack of privacy could be difficult but insisted she was happy with her life in the TV interview, which she filmed before she was tied up by five gun-wielding robbers, who stole millions worth of jewels from her in her suite in the French capital earlier this month.
Kim told ’60 Minutes’: “There are pitfalls. Lack of privacy, loss of privacy. And that’s not for everyone. For me, I can handle it. I totally attribute my career to social media.”
Speaking about her talents, she added: “It is a talent to have a brand that’s really successful off of getting people to like you for being you.”
Meanwhile, Kim’s older sister Kourtney, 37, recently revealed the star is still “not doing great” after her ordeal.
Kourtney said: “She’s not doing great. I think we’re all really still shaken up and I just – you know, I think she has a big supportive family and I know that all the traumatic things that we’ve been through, we get through them together as a family.
“And that’s what family’s all about.”
This comes after their sibling Khloe Kardashian, 32, made similar comments about Kim during an appearance on US TV earlier this month.
Khloe said: “She’s not doing that well. It’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together.
“We do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support. It will take time. It was horrible what happened to her.”

Lindsay Lohan owes almost 78k in rent?

OHMYGOSSIP — Lindsay Lohan reportedly owes almost £78,000 in rent.
It has been claimed that the 30-year-old actress has been issued with court papers by lawyers acting for the landlord of a £3.5 million flat she was leasing in Knightsbridge, London after she failed to pay the outstanding amount.
According to the Daily Mail, they are “demanding payment of £77,600, and will petition at court for her bankruptcy on November 8 if she fails to pay up”.
Her former fiancé Egor Tarabasov, 23, has also accused her of stealing items from him, worth a total of £24,000, including a Rolex Oyster watch, designer clothing and a small gold crucifix, which belonged to his late godfather.
He has reportedly spoken to the police about the alleged theft.
A friend of Egor told the newspaper: “Lindsay is in an absolute mess. She has blown virtually all her money, and has basically resigned herself to being declared bankrupt… The whole situation is incredibly tragic, and for Lindsay this is an astonishing fall from grace.
“The thing he really wants back and which, ironically, is of very little monetary value, is a small gold Russian orthodox cross which was given to him by his dead godfather.”
Lindsay recently accused Egor of breaking into her house and attacking her.
She said: “I went to bed and he broke into my house. He started strangling me.
“I feared that Egor may splash acid in my face.
“I jumped out to the balcony and shouted with all my force, ‘He’s trying to kill me, call the police!’ I am lucky to come to Moscow to speak.”
However, Egor denied all claims in a statement which read: “It has come to my attention that my former fiancée, Lindsay Lohan, is planning new smear campaign against me in the Russian and international media.
“My relationship with Lindsay came to an end in July 2016. In the weeks that followed, there were numerous attempts to discredit my name by inaccurately portraying the nature of our relationship, publishing distorted facts, and making false accusations.
“I decided not to address those harmful and false statements at that time. As an international businessman, I aim to maintain a low profile and concentrate on developing my business. I also chose to keep my silence out of respect for Lindsay.
“Today, I would like to state that all accusations made, and about to be made, by Lindsay against me are not true.

Miranda Kerr to wed next year

OHMYGOSSIP — Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel will marry next year.
The 33-year-old beauty – who has a five-year-old son, Flynn, with ex-husband Orlando Bloom – got engaged to the Snapchat founder in June after dating for a year and a half, and their wedding plans are already underway.
Asked if they’ve set a date, she said: “It’ll be next year. I can’t wait.”
Though the former Victoria’s Secret Angel was overwhelmed with happiness when Evan, 26, popped the question, she wasn’t expecting him to propose.
She said: “[Was I expecting it?] Absolutely not. He said to me, ‘Miranda, I’m telling you now, this is the first and last time I’m going to kneel down in front of you,’
“I was terribly nervous and emotional, trembling with happiness.”
Though Miranda didn’t rush into introducing Evan to Flynn, she loves seeing the bond between them now.
She said: “They adore each other. At first I was very careful as I wanted to be certain our relationship was serious. Now I love to watch them playing together.”
The Australian model shares a “conservative” attitude with Evan, as well as a number of other values and interests.
She explained: “Evan is real homebody like me. We have little dinner parties for our friends – he loves my cooking.
“Both of us are quite conservative even though we come from different worlds.
“But we have common values, a sense of loyalty, family and honesty. I tend to trust other people more easily.
“Evan is more guarded and reserved. It’s a good balance.”
And the Kora Organics founder can always turn to her fiance when she needs advice.
She told Paris Match magazine: “We spend hours talking about everything. He listens to me and he understands me.
“He works very hard and he’s proud that I’ve started my own business. He gives me tons of advice. He’s my soulmate.”

Cara Delevingne's new obsession

OHMYGOSSIP — Cara Delevingne is reportedly “obsessed” with singer Heloise Letissier.
The ‘Paper Towns’ star was devastated when she split from St. Vincent, aka Annie Clarke, in August, but has now turned her attentions to the bisexual French beauty, who performs under the pseudonym Christine and the Queens.
A source told Grazia magazine: “Cara was heartbroken when Annie ended their relationship but she’s made no secret of her crush on Heloise.
“She really admires her artistry and thinks she’s super-sexy, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that ended up developing into something.”
It was recently claimed Cara and St. Vincent – who is now believed to be dating Kristen Stewart – ended their 18-month romance because their work kept them apart for long periods of time.
A source previously said: “Cara and Annie still care about each other, but pressures of the long-distance romance just became too much.
“The cracks were beginning to show on Cara’s birthday in August when Annie wasn’t there for her party.
“They decided to call it a day but remain pals and are hoping they can work things out as it’s no doubt they really love each other.”
Despite the singer’s new romance, she is said to still have feelings for the singer-and-actress.
A source said: “Annie is totally in love with Kristen but she still has feelings for Cara. It ended dramatically and neither of them really wanted to break up, but neither of them could seem to make it work with their hectic schedules.”

Eddie Redmayne's stage fright

OHMYGOSSIP — Eddie Redmayne got “complete stage fright” using a wand in ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’.
The 34-year-old actor – who plays magizoologist Newt Scamander in the JK Rowling-penned movie – admits he was incredibly nervous about picking up a wand to use on set.
He said: “It was so weird. Because when you get to pick up a wand, your inner nine-year-old is having the best moment of his life. ‘Oh my god. I get to use one of these!’
“And then you pick one up and go, ‘Oh. Why does this feel so weird? What do I do with it?’ I got complete stage fright!”
And Eddie loved being able to meet up with JK Rowling to discuss the character but admits he was a little “in awe” of her.
He added: “I was lucky enough to meet her just before we started filming. At that point I was so in awe of her. I wanted to be all, ‘Lovely to meet you!’ but we only had an hour so I just went, ‘So, Newt?’
“You can ask her anything. Any detail from the smallest nuance. She is so in love with her characters. By that point I’d done so much work on who Newt was, and it was two people just talking at each other. It was so helpful.”
There was one thing the father-of-one – who has four-month-old daughter Iris with his wife Hannah Bagshawe – wanted to perfect for his role as Newt – the walk.
He told SFX magazine: “When [JK Rowling] describes Newt walking through the streets of New York, she describes him as walking to his own rhythm. There’s a Buster Keaton vibe quality, she wrote. So I actually decided to work with this guy called Alex Reynolds who’s a dancer by trade. Newt has a unique physicality that was very specific to him.”

Reese Witherspoon uses Snapchat to talk to her children

OHMYGOSSIP — Reese Witherspoon uses Snapchat to communicate with her children.
The 40-year-old actress joked that the easiest way to get in touch with her daughter Ava, 17, and son Deacon, 12, is Snapchat because they rarely call her back.
Speaking on the ‘Today’ show, she said: “I have two teenagers, and I’ve discovered that they will Snapchat me back, but they will not call me back. And I think it’s important for people to communicate well with their children.”
And Reese also revealed that she relies on Ava for “brutally honest” fashion advice.
She said: “I usually ask my daughter, my 17-year-old daughter, ‘Does this look good?’ and she’ll be honest with me. She’ll be like, ‘No. You do not look good. You cannot wear that.’ So I depend on her brutal honesty.”
Along with Ava and Deacon, from her first marriage to Ryan Phillippe, Reese also has a son, Tennessee, four, with her second husband Jim Toth and she admitted that the children poke fun at her for her Southern slang.
Reese explained: “I’ll say, ‘He did do, but he didn’t done do. He done did that.’ They’re like, ‘What? Why you talkin’ did done?’ My little four-year-old will be like, ‘He did done do!’
“They think it’s hysterical, but they don’t understand what I’m saying. I don’t always know what I’m saying, but sometimes people do.”

Michael Buble wants more kids

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Buble wants more children.
The 41-year-old singer has sons Noah, three, and Elias, eight months, with his wife Luisana Lopilato and says he would love to expand their family but it will be Luisana’s decision.
He told Entertainment Tonight: “I would love to. Who knows what we have planned. Even asking me is like, no, because my wife is the boss. It’s her body and she’ll tell me when she’s ready. If she’s ready.”
And Michael says becoming a father is the best thing that ever happened to him.
He said: “I love them more than I’ll ever love anything, or anyone in the whole universe. I think it gave me perspective on life that I think I very badly needed. It’s hard to be able to quantify that level of love.
“I didn’t know that level of love existed. But it makes me better at everything. It allows me to pull more emotion and be more honest and to be in the moment.”
Michael recently revealed he wishes he had started a family when he was younger because he didn’t understand the “perspective” having a child would give him.
He said: “The only regret that I have in my life is that I took this long to have kids, because I had no idea the perspective it would give me. I had no idea how much I would love being a dad.
“That’s it, that’s all I care about … I love them too much probably, if there was such a thing. It’s made everything else so insignificant, moments that I was afraid of and moments that would overwhelm me have now become a joy because I see how not serious they are compared to what is really important, which is Noah and Eli and that’s it.”
