Felicity Jones 'nearly killed' Tom Hanks on Inferno set

OHMYGOSSIP — Felicity Jones “nearly killed” Tom Hanks on the set of ‘Inferno’.
The 33-year-old star was driving her co-star around on set when she accidentally knocked the car into a wall whilst turning a corner.
Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she said: “The Italian streets are really tiny, and for some reason my character had the most enormous car they could find.
“So. just as I was very kind of coolly trying to turn this corner, I was staying in line as I was turning it, I basically bashed the entire side of the car with Tom in … into the side of the wall. It was nearly sort of game over, but luckily he was very cool – he didn’t say anything.”
Meanwhile, the actress previously praised Tom, 60, insisting he’s not been “corrupted” by fame.
He said: “I felt totally embraced by him. He is so unegotistical – he hasn’t been in any way corrupted by fame …
“I am quite fortunate, because I can still be quite incognito. If you go out looking for attention then you’ll attract it, but if you’re just getting on with your life, particularly in London where everyone is engrossed in what they’re doing, you can keep a measure of anonymity.”
And Felicity has revealed she had to work hard on her fitness for her role in ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’.
She explained: “I’ve never done this level of physical preparation for something before. Particularly for ‘Rogue One’, where I was training every day and doing kung fu rehearsals on a daily basis. But that’s part of the reason why I wanted to do it, because it was very different from what I’d done before.”

Anna Kendrick's sexy texts

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Kendrick sends risqué text messages.
The 31-year-old actress admitted she has previously sent some racy texts to boyfriends during a game of ‘Never Have I Ever’ alongside Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart, and has also been known to call an ex while under the influence.
After the guests on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ were asked if they had sexted before, Anna said: “Oh, my God. I’m so glad I’m here today.”
Martha also admitted she has been known to send out risqué messages much to Anna, Snoop and Ellen’s surprise.
She said: “I have used technology for a lot longer than you have, Ellen.”
When asked if they had “drunk dialled an ex”, Anna and Ellen flipped their paddle boards to ‘I Have’, while Martha and the ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ hitmaker insisted they hadn’t done the deed.
Anna was surprised by Snoop and Martha’s answer.
She said: “Oh, so that’s the strong side of the couch.”
The ‘Trolls’ star also admitted she has been in handcuffs before but wouldn’t elaborate whether it was because she was arrested or because she was having some fun in the bedroom, but did say she wasn’t cuffed for a movie role.
Martha asked: “Like in a movie?'”
Anna replied: “No.”
Ellen then asked: “Been arrested?”
Anna replied: “That wasn’t the question.”
Snoop, who also admitted he’d been detained in handcuffs, suggested Anna’s act may have taken place during an intimate moment.
The 45-year-old rapper – who has previously been arrested for possession of marijuana, cocaine and a firearm in 2007 – said: “Yeah, it may have been another kind of handcuffs that come with a bed. Oh, hello.”
The 58-year-old comedian admitted she thought the same.
Snoop said he’d been stoned on a talk show before, lifting his paddle up as high as he could and admitted he had been on a nudist beach, as had Martha.
Speaking to Ellen and Anna, she said: “Haven’t you been?”
The game ended with all three guests admitting they had used their fame to try to get out of trouble.

ABBA announce virtual live experience

OHMYGOSSIP — ABBA have confirmed they are to reunite – in virtual reality form.
The Swedish pop superstars split up in 1982 after 10 years together and have been the subject of reformation rumours for years, and now it has been confirmed they are getting back together for a new digital entertainment experience.
The ‘Dancing Queen’ hitmakers have teamed up with the Spice Girls’ former manager Simon Fuller and Universal for the unique project, which will allow fans to see and hear the group in a whole new way.
Simon, 56, said: “The creativity and ideas flowing from the members of ABBA over the past few months have filled me with great excitement. We are exploring a new technological world, with Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence at the forefront, that will allow us to create new forms of entertainment and content we couldn’t have previously imagined.”
The project will involve all four members of ABBA, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, Anni-Frid (Frida) Lyngstad and Agnetha Faltskog, who first came together in Stockholm in 1972.
Benny, 69, has described the experience as a “time machine”, which will show fans the “essence” of the group.
He said: “We’re inspired by the limitless possibilities of what the future holds and are loving being a part of creating something new and dramatic here. A time machine that captures the essence of who we were. And are.”
Frida, 70, hopes fans will appreciate them reforming for the unique creation.
She added: “Our fans around the world are always asking us to reform and so I hope this new ABBA creation will excite them as much as it excites me!”
Fans will have a little while to wait for the collaboration with further details expected to announced early next year.
The quartet last made a rare appearance together in June, marking the 50th anniversary of Benny and Bjorn’s first meeting at a private party at the Berns Salonger hotel in Stockholm.
However, though the foursome appeared on stage, only Agnetha and Frida sang, treating guests to a rendition of ‘The Way Old Friends Do’.
Prior to that they were all together for the opening of Stockholm’s ‘Mama Mia! The Party’, which was held on January 20, but they didn’t perform on that occasion.
The 70s group had previously been offered a mind-blowing $1 billion to reform for a reunion tour.
However, they turned it down because they weren’t interested in going on the road again.
At the time, Frida admitted: “No amount of money would change our minds. Maybe we sometimes say it would be good to do a song together again, just a recording and nothing else, but I don’t know if that will happen – so don’t say that we will.”

Liam Gallagher: Noel's not only talented member of Oasis

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher says the biggest myth about Oasis is that his brother Noel Gallagher has more talent than him.
The 44-year-old singer and his 49-year-old sibling have gone their separate ways since their group disbanded in 2009 following a huge backstage bust-up between before a concert in Paris, France.
Since the demise of the ‘Cigarettes and Alcohol’ rockers, Noel has gone on to release two solo albums, while Liam made two records with new band Beady Eye and his currently recording his own solo LP and although Noel wrote the majority of Oasis’ biggest hits the outspoken frontman insists the key to their success was the dynamic between them both.
Asked what the biggest misconception about Oasis is in an interview with DorkShelf.com, Liam answered: “I don’t know … I think we wore our hearts on our sleeve. I guess there’s one that Noel’s the talented one and I’m not. That’s a big one.”
This year, Liam and Noel revisited the band’s beginnings in Manchester and journey to their mammoth open-air concerts at Knebworth in 1996 which were attended by 250,000 fans for documentary film ‘Supersonic’ – directed by Mat Whitecross.
The ‘I’m Outta Time’ songwriter enjoyed looking back but has admitted he doesn’t own any souvenirs or mementos from the band’s career, preferring to collect items owned by his musical heroes.
He said: “Oasis stuff? Nah. I’ve got loads of Beatles stuff, Jimi Hendrix, got loads of Bob Marley s**t, pictures, stuff like that.”
Liam also confirmed he still owns a set of beads that were owned by his idol John Lennon that Noel bought him as a birthday present and claimed he had lost after wearing them on a night out.
The ‘Some Might Say’ singer revealed: “I’ve still got them. They were beads that he wore when he met the Maharishi. They were in a glass case like what you get platinum albums in, I thought f**k that man they’re not staying in there, so I smashed it open and put ’em around me neck.”

Kenny Chesney won't tour in 2017

OHMYGOSSIP — Kenny Chesney will “pull back” from touring in 2017.
The 48-year-old country music star has had a hectic touring schedule for the last two years, and has said he wants next year to be less “intense”.
Speaking to CountryCountdownUSA.com, he said: “We’re going to pull back just a little bit [from the road]. The last two years have been so intense; we’ve done 160 shows in an 18-month period. So I felt, with the new music, I want the fans to digest it and let it seep into their lives a little bit.”
The ‘Setting the World On Fire’ hitmaker has decided to strip back his tour to just “five or six” shows in 2017, after having wrapped his ‘Spread The Love’ tour in August this year.
It’s not a permanent decision though, as the country rocker has said he’ll “crank it up” again in time for 2018.
He said: “So next year, we’ll do five or six shows, we don’t know how many yet, but other than that, we’ll let this new music find its way. Then the next year, we’ll crank it up again.”
The ‘There Goes My Life’ singer says it’s important to know when to “get away” from working so closely with his band mates, and that’s what stops them from getting sick of each other.
He added: “When you work together so much as a band and a unit and a family, it’s great, but you do need to get away from that to keep it new. That’s one of the secrets to our success, is knowing when to hit it hard, and also knowing when to pull it back a little bit, just so they want to feel that moment again. So that’s what next year’s going to look like.”
It isn’t the first time Kenny has taken a break from the road either, as he previously took 2014 off from touring in order to “put the music first” whilst working on his album ‘The Big Revival’.

Tom Cruise credits success to Scientology

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Cruise credits his success to Scientology.
The 54-year-old actor has over 50 films under his belt and still has producers queuing up to snag him for their forthcoming movies but he’s convinced he wouldn’t be where he is today if he hadn’t taken up the “beautiful” religion – a body of beliefs and practices created in 1954 by American science fiction author L. Ron Hubbard – three decades ago.
Speaking to ITV News about the controversial organisation, Tom – who rarely comments on his religious beliefs – said: “It’s something that has helped me incredibly in my life; I’ve been a Scientologist for over 30 years. It’s something, you know, without it, I wouldn’t be where I am. So it’s a beautiful religion. I’m incredibly proud.”
The ‘Mission: Impossible’ star – who is the most famous star to follow the organisation – believes the methods developed by Hubbard have helped him overcome his dyslexia.
He said seven years ago of his literacy struggles at school: “I asked myself if I was normal or an idiot. I would try to concentrate but I felt anxiety, frustration, boredom. When I graduated from high school in 1980 I was functionally illiterate.”
Tom was first introduced to the church by his first wife Mimi Rogers, whom he was married to from 1987 until 1990, while he was still trying to make it as a global star.
He then went on to wed Nicole Kidman, with whom he adopted two children Isabella and Conor, but they later divorced in 2001 following 11 years of marriage.
Tom began dating Katie Holmes in 2005 and welcomed their daughter Suri, now 10, into the world in April 2006. They tied the knot over a year later in Italy and the head of Scientology David Miscavige served as the actor’s best man at the wedding.
After six years of marriage, Katie filed for divorce – the details of which have remained sealed under New York law – from Tom and it’s believed he hasn’t seen their daughter in public for three years after he was spotted taking to her to Disneyland in 2013.
Tom is one of the highest-ranking Scientologists has been hailed by leaders of the faith as the “chosen one” who will spread the word of the religion.
The bizarre sci-fi cult’s founder Hubbard claimed that billions of extra-terrestrial beings were sent to Earth by Xenu – the dictator of the ‘Galactic Confederacy’, comprised of 26 stars and 76 planets including Earth – who gathered them around volcanoes and then destroyed the aliens with hydrogen bombs.
The aliens’ souls attached themselves to chosen humans, known as thetans, who will be one day be saved from their life of spiritual harm.

Phil Collins: I'm 'great pals' with Genesis

OHMYGOSSIP — Phil Collins is “still great pals” with his former band Genesis.
The 65-year-old rocker left the band in 1996 in order to pursue a solo career, and admits that he wouldn’t rule out a possible reunion tour as “anything can happen”.
He said: “Writing the book [memoir, ‘Not Dead Yet’] reminded me how close we were. We’re still great pals. Tony [Banks], Mike [Rutherford] and I went out on my birthday in London. Anything can happen, really. I just don’t want to suddenly take the break off and start flying off and doing things. I just want to do things carefully and think about the consequences.”
Though the ‘In The Air Tonight’ hitmaker – who used to play the drums for the band – admits that it’s unlikely they’ll reform as he can no longer play the instrument like he used to after suffering a “mystery” affliction.
He also cites Peter Gabriel – who hasn’t played with the band since a one-off show in 1982 – as another reason for not reuniting the rockers.
He said: “If I was an able drummer I’d gladly get behind the kit and drum for Pete. But the fans need to know what they’d get. I told that to a German journalist once and he said, ‘It would be fun to see Peter sing ‘I Can’t Dance’ and to see me sing ‘Supper’s Ready.’ I was thinking, ‘I can’t argue with this…’ ”
But Phil – who recently announced a string of solo European tour dates in 2017 – won’t be leaving Genesis alone for good, as he’s vowed to include some of their songs when he hits the road as a solo artist.
He told Rolling Stone magazine: “On the last tour we did ‘Invisible Touch’ and ‘Misunderstanding’. We’ll put in a couple of [Genesis songs] in, two or three.”

Zayn Malik: Fan fiction is 'unnerving'

OHMYGOSSIP — Zayn Malik found One Direction fan fiction “unnerving”.
The 23-year-old singer left the chart-topping boy band in March 2015, and has admitted that whilst he has read some fan fiction – in which the followers of the group write stories about the members, often in sexual situations – it wasn’t something that appealed to him.
Writing in his upcoming autobiography ‘Zayn’, he said: “When I was still in One Direction, fans would write stories based on me and the other lads and publish them online. I’m not gonna lie, it’s pretty unnerving reading things about yourself as a character from somebody else’s imagination.
“It’s crazy to think that we inspired so many different stories and the opportunity for so much creativity from so many people all over the world.”
However, the ‘Pillowtalk’ hitmaker goes on to state that it’s “cool” to see how many fans engaged with the band “on their own terms”.
And whilst Zayn – who boasts drawing as one of his hobbies – might not have liked fan fiction, he admits he is a huge supporter of art as he loves seeing “talented people” share their drawings with him.
He explained: “My favourite stuff, personally, is fan art. I love seeing how many different ways people interpret my lyrics and my style, and it’s so cool that they share that with me. It’s also weirdly touching to see how many talented people out there choose to apply that talent to something connected with me and my music. It’s really humbling.”
The news comes after the ‘Like I Would’ musician revealed in another excerpt from his book that he felt relieved to finally be able to sing about sex when he left the boy band – completed by members Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne – who are currently on a hiatus.
He wrote: “Every lyric I’ve ever written has a story behind it. All the hard work that went into the creation of ‘Pillowtalk’ was worthwhile because, as soon as it was finished, I intuitively felt I was on the right path.
“It was a sick cut, nailing the exact sound I wanted to capture in my music. I was also able to sing about a subject that I hadn’t really been able to go near while I was in One Direction: sex.”

Their second child was born at a Manhattan hospital at the end of the September, while James was welcomed into the world in December 2014, a date which was revealed a year afterwards from one of Ryan’s tweets.
Last week, Ryan tweeted about his daughter having a mobile above her crib, but it isn’t known if he was referring to James or whether the couple’s second child is also a girl.
He wrote: “The mobile above my daughter’s crib is just a whole bunch of NuvaRings. So she remembers how lucky she is. (sic)”

Kid Cudi saved Pete Davidson's life

OHMYGOSSIP — Kid Cudi helped save the life of ‘Saturday Night Live’ comedian Pete Davidson.
The 22-year-old actor – who is a regular cast member on the American sketch show – has admitted that he suffers with depression, and “wouldn’t be here” if it wasn’t for the 32-year-old rapper and his music.
Speaking on Clear Channel Media and Entertainment syndicated US radio show ‘The Breakfast Club’, the actor said: “Cudi’s the best of all. He saved my life. I would’ve killed myself if I didn’t have Kid Cudi.
“I would’ve killed myself. Absolutely 100%. I truly believe if [Kid Cudi’s debut album] ‘Man on the Moon’ didn’t come out, I wouldn’t be here.”
And Pete finds it “comforting” to know that Cudi – who recently checked into rehab for depression and suicidal urges – goes through “the same stuff” that he does.
He said: “It’s kind of comforting to know your hero goes through the same stuff you do.
“I think that’s why a lot of kids my age can relate to Cudi and people love him so much is because he’s a very emotional dude.”
The ‘Day N Night’ hitmaker – real name Scott Mescudi – booked himself into a facility earlier this month, after he admitted he was a “damaged human”.
He wrote on Facebook at the time: “It’s been difficult for me to find the words to what Im about to share with you because I feel ashamed. Ashamed to be a leader and hero to so many while admitting I’ve been living a lie. It took me a while to get to this place of commitment, but it is something I have to do for myself, my family, my best friend/daughter and all of you, my fans.
Yesterday I checked myself into rehab for depression and suicidal urges.
I am not at peace. I haven’t been since you’ve known me. If I didn’t come here, I wouldve done something to myself. I simply am a damaged human swimming in a pool of emotions every day of my life. (sic)”

Hugh Laurie receives star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Laurie has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The 57-year-old actor couldn’t help but squirm with embarrassment as he was showered with praise by his longtime collaborator Stephen Fry when he received his golden accolade on the Hollywood Boulevard, California, on Tuesday (25.10.16).
As he stood in front of an audience outside the Pig’n Whistle British pub on Hollywood Boulevard, Stephen honoured his “repulsively handsome” friend for his “preposterously talent” and mocked his “knock-knees” and wide-spread nipples.
He added: “While he may not be the first wise and kind star to be set in a paving slab in old Hollywood, I venture to suggest no star was ever wiser or kinder. I can say like Doctor Watson of his friend Holmes, the kindest and wisest friend I ever knew.”
Hugh and Stephen met at Cambridge University while performing comedy after an acute bout of glandular fever cut short his ambitions to go into Olympic rowing – like his father.
They later penned the 1981 Cambridge Footlights annual revue ‘The Cellar Tapes’ together, which led to them landing a role in London’s West End.
They then went on to star in a number of hit television shows including ‘A Bit of Fry and Laurie’, ‘Blackadder’, and ‘Jeeves and Wooster’.
However, Hugh’s talents spread further than just his collaborative work with Stephen as he won consecutive Golden Globe gongs in 2006 and 2007 for his role as Doctor Gregory House in the American series ‘House’.
He’s also been nominated for seven Emmy awards, although he’s never won.
Hugh – who was once the highest paid actor on television – has carved out a career in directing and producing and has become a part-time blues and jazz musician.
The handsome star – who has three grown-up children Rebecca, 23, Charles, 27, and William, 25, with his wife Jo Green – said: “This is not a fair world. I’m 57 now and I’ve lived a life of extraordinary good fortune from start to finish, so much so I’m anticipating a piano falling on my head to redress the balance. I’ve been incredibly lucky. I’m going to bask in this extraordinary honour and my extraordinary good luck and I’ll set to work first thing tomorrow on the global unfairness problem.”
