OHMYGOSSIP — John Legend is “scared of love”.
The ‘All of Me’ hitmaker – who is married to Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen – admits it can be hard for men to open up in relationships at first because they put a “guard” up as they feel like they’re “not supposed to show emotion”.
He said: “Everyone is scared of love because you might get hurt. Men have the added challenge of feeling like they’re not supposed to show emotion so we guard ourselves more than women. Although when you find the right person at the right time you realise they should be a high priority.”
And the 37-year-old singer – who has six-month-old daughter Luna with Chrissy – also revealed there is one song on his new album which makes him “pretty emotional” as it is about his daughter.
He told BBC’s Newsbeat: “I wrote a song just for her on this new album. I still get pretty emotional when I hear the song.
“I’m still going to make whatever music inspires me but I won’t be scared to incorporate the fact that I’m a father into what I’m thinking about.”
Meanwhile, John previously revealed fatherhood has “humbled” him.
He said: “I think it shifts your priorities a bit, gives you a new perspective. You realise what’s important for you, for your family and for your career. It just takes over your life when you have a child …
“I spent a lot of time at home with her for the first three months and with my wife, you know, it just humbles you. I think everyone struggles with being a new parent, everyone’s trying to figure it out and I think it’s a humbling process.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloe Kardashian “doesn’t understand” why people are against interracial relationships.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star – who is currently dating basketball player Tristan Thompson – hit out at those who criticise relationships between men and women of different races.
Responding to a letter from fan Kelsey Wells, where she shared her experiences dating a man from a different race than her own, Khloe wrote: “Thank you Kelsey for talking about this important issue. I don’t support racism or discrimination of any kind and I especially don’t understand why some people are still against interracial relationships.
“Like who the F cares anymore?! It’s so crazy because we’re all human beings capable of love so why does skin colour have anything to do with it?”
Meanwhile, things are going from strength to strength for Khloe and Tristan, with the 32-year-old television personality previously revealing they prefer to spend their nights at home.
She said: “I despise leaving the house. I’m really, like, a mellow person. I do like to just chill in the house. I like to cook. On Sundays, I normally try to cook something I haven’t cooked before, so I just made all of these preserved jams. The other day I made homemade pretzels. I [also] made doughnuts for the first time. I try to do things I’ve never done, but because of my mother, I’m actually a really good cook. My mom used to make me cook starting really young and so I think I could cook, like, anything and I love that.
“I’m a homebody, so for me it’s just, like, chill and watching TV and having a drink. It’s like intimate one-on-one time … I’m more of an at-home person. [We like to] just chill at home. That’s really what we do, mellow. We’re not that exciting. I feel like people think I’m, like, wild and like hanging from chandeliers.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mariah Carey was “devastated” when she split from James Packer.
The ‘We Belong Together’ hitmaker was reportedly left “blindsided” when the Australian billionaire called off their engagement.
A source said: “The split has been devastating for Mariah. She loved James and was planning to marry him … She made life changes for this man to prepare for their future as husband and wife, even relocating to Los Angeles, at James’ request, so he could be closer to his children. Everything she has done over the past year is to prove how fully committed she is to their life together. She really wanted this to work. And then, completely out of the blue, it imploded.”
Things started to go down hill for the 46-year-old singer – who has five-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with her ex-husband Nick Cannon – and James when they were in Greece.
An insider added: “It started in Greece [with] some sort of outburst [from James] which everyone heard. [He told her,] I don’t know if I can do this. I can barely take care of my own children.”
The former couple were meant to meet up in Los Angeles to “talk through everything as adults” but they called it off when Mariah found out James had decided to end their relationship.
A source told E! News: “Mariah and James never met up after that. And they haven’t spoken. The way the split news was handled was incredibly upsetting to her.”
Meanwhile, Mariah’s spokesperson previously confirmed the pair are “trying to work things out”.
They said in a statement: “Mariah and James had a fight in Greece, and have not seen each other since. [The fight was not due to] any cheating allegations or excessive spending. They are trying to work it out. Right now, they’re not sure if they will stay together. They are discussing it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Celine Dion will be taking a month off to spend time with her children.
The ‘My Heart Will Go On’ hitmaker is reportedly set to take the whole of December off to be with her 15-year-old son René-Charles and six-year-old twins Eddy and Nelson for their first Christmas since Celine’s husband and the father of her children René Angélil passed away in January 2016.
A source told People magazine: “She’s taking all of December off to spend with the kids. She’s still grieving, but she’s doing everything she can to keep as happy and as healthy as possible. It’s all about the kids.”
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old singer previously revealed her children kiss a door handle every morning to wish their father a good day.
She said: “Sometimes we send up some balloons with messages for Papa and – this was Eddy’s idea – every morning we kiss the door handle and say, ‘Good day Papa.’
“By the bed there is a photo of their pap after his first cancer. It carries this inscription, ‘Everything will be OK.’ The twins kiss it. I finish by saying, ‘Goodnight my love.’ The little ones say together, ‘Goodnight Papa, I love you my darling.'”
Despite their tragic loss, Celine recently admitted she feels at “peace” after her husband’s passing.
She shared: “I really, really want to prove to my kids their mother is strong.
“René always insisted the show must go on. You know what, I’m 48 years old and I lost the love of my life. I miss him a lot from when he was great but not when he was suffering. I cannot be selfish. You have to let people go. I feel at peace.
“He left me with all of his strength. Every day we live with him, just not physically. I’m thankful that he does not suffer anymore.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Scherzinger turned down a movie role because she was asked to go nude.
The former Pussycat Dolls singer says she would only consider stripping off on screen if she could work with Martin Scorsese as she doesn’t feel she “needs to” get naked to get a starring role in a film.
Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, she said: “Actually I was going to do a movie and they asked me to get nude and I was like no. I mean unless it’s like for Martin Scorsese or something but no, you don’t need to.”
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old singer previously admitted she has “sacrificed” her life for her career.
She said: “Look at me? I’m not married and I ain’t got no kids yet. I’m still like, ‘Let’s go.’ Of course work has come at a sacrifice. I’ve missed out on life.”
And whilst Nicole works really hard, her health is the most important to her.
Asked if she’d consider botox, she said: “No, I haven’t. I think for me it’s more about taking care of yourself from the inside out. I think health is really important.
“It’s about drinking a lot of water and getting a lot of sleep. It’s crazy what hot yoga or going on an amazing run will do. Anybody can always get that stuff done, but for me how I feel inside is a true reflection.”
Nicole is in “a very good place” in her personal life at the moment.
She added: “I’m at a very good place now. I’m really happy. I don’t feel like there is any wall up or any tension or awkwardness. But that’s what’s so great with time and life and experience. What doesn’t break you or doesn’t kill you really only makes you stronger.
“I wasn’t shying away from anything. But I’m not taking any low digs or slaps at my past relationship because that’s just not who I am. Music speaks for itself and it’s open to interpretation for everyone. But everything I sing, I sing it from my piece of truth.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Benedict Cumberbatch accidentally told Stephen Hawking about a secret movie role when they were “knee-deep in margaritas”.
The 40-year-old actor recalled how he confessed to the Professor that he would be taking on the role of Khan in 2013’s ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ despite his casting being kept a big secret.
Speaking on BBC’s The Graham Norton Show, he shared: “It is the most extraordinary experience. We were at the Royal Society for a discussion on the future of science and it was a long night, so we decided to go for a drink.
“We got knee-deep in margaritas and it was at that drunken moment I thought I would tell him I was playing Khan in Star Trek. Stephen was the only person I told. He liked the fact I had told him. It made him smile.”
Meanwhile, the father-of-one – who has 16-month-old son Christopher with his wife Sophie Hunter – is currently on a world promotional tour for his new movie ‘Doctor Strange’ and he previously revealed he had to “step out of his comfort zone” for the role.
He said: “People ask me what I have in common with my character and I feel that’s really it. I was having to do action hero stuff on a level I’ve never done before and wire work and kung-fu moves and casting these spells.
“Amazing movements like tutting with the fingers and all these delicate hand movements as well as body posturing. I was learning that as much as my character was, so both of us were stepping out of our comfort zone so that’s something I could draw on for the characterisation.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mariah Carey “wants millions” from James Packer.
The ‘Without You’ hitmaker is reportedly asking for the Australian billionaire to pay out $50 million as a settlement as she believes she had to uproot her life and move to Los Angeles for him.
But a source close to the couple says the mother-of-two – who has five-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with her ex-husband Nick Cannon – won’t be getting any money but he will let her keep her ring.
A source told the New York Post’s Page Six column: “Of course Mariah wants money, but she’s not getting $50 million. There’s no negotiations about money because they haven’t spoken since the split.
“He let her keep the ring, and she isn’t getting a cent more. It is ridiculous to claim that James is the reason for the cancellation of her South America tour. A few days ago she blamed it on the promoters.”
Meanwhile, Mariah and James are “trying” to work things out after having a fight in Greece.
Her representative said in a statement: “Mariah and James had a fight in Greece, and have not seen each other since. [The fight was not due to] any cheating allegations or excessive spending. They are trying to work it out. Right now, they’re not sure if they will stay together. They are discussing it.”
It has been claimed that the pair split because Mariah became so obsessed with her reality television show ‘Mariah’s World’.
A source said: “It’s all over. James had huge reservations about Mariah’s new reality TV show and the fact that she was willing to expose their lives to the world … James is very generous, but Mariah takes it to the next level.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Kendrick couldn’t afford to buy shoes for her first Academy Awards.
The ‘Accountant’ star has revealed that when she was fairly unknown in 2009, no designers offered to loan her a pair of shoes for the Oscars so her stylist asked her to buy her own.
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she said: “My stylist told me I had to wear the perfect shoes for an outfit, and because the movie isn’t out yet, nobody really knows who you are. ‘The shoe places don’t want to loan you the shoes so can you buy a pair?’
“I was like, ‘I’m still poor.’ So it was this weird combination of like all these great things are happening but at the same time nothing has changed so, it was a weird dichotomy.”
Meanwhile, the 31-year-old actress is no doubt glad that acting worked out for her as she previously revealed she never had “a backup plan.”
She shared: “I got some terrible advice when I was really young, which was not to have a backup plan. I had this singularity of focus. I never considered doing something else.”
And Anna recently admitted she would like to take a six month break from acting one day.
She added: “It’s hard to take a step back and see if there’s something I should be doing differently. At some point I’ll have to take a good six months off and not make movies.
“But working for 14 hours a day for months at a time is not sustainable. Not being on a set means you can explore the world and enrich your life. It’d probably be wise to invest in those things.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Halle Berry is feeling happier than ever following her split from Olivier Martinez.
The ‘Extant’ star says she is “in a good place once again” despite ending her relationship to the actor, although she has been spotted spending time with him and their three-year-old son Maceo as of late.
She said: “I just feel happy, you know? I’ve arrived at a really good place once again, that’s always good news.
“Down time, dark times, don’t last forever – the sun is out again and it feels great.”
And the 50-year-old actress – who also has Nahla, eight, with her ex-partner Gabriel Aubry – enjoyed celebrating her milestone birthday in August with a small party for her close family and friends.
Asked how she spent her birthday, she added to Extra: “Privately. It was very small. I’ve never had a birthday party, so it wasn’t a big extravaganza; it’s not how I do it. I was with my family, people I loved, it was a really good day. I’ve never defined myself by that number, so it was a really good day.”
Meanwhile, the mother-of-two previously revealed she feels “blessed” to be 50.
Captioning a photo of herself, she wrote: “With open arms I welcome 50. I’m so blessed to be here!”
And though she isn’t worried about getting older, she admits she does feel “pressure” to have cosmetic surgery.
She said: “It is pressure. When you see everybody around you doing it, you have those moments when you think, ‘To stay alive in this business, do I need to do the same thing?’ I won’t lie and tell you that those things don’t cross my mind, because somebody is always suggesting it to me. OHMYGOSSIP — Bob Dylan has finally addressed his Nobel Prize win.
The 75-year-old musician is to be the recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature, but has caused controversy after he failed to speak publicly about being named as the winner of the award and reportedly refused to answer any calls from the Nobel committee.
Now, the ‘Blowin’ in the Wind’ hitmaker has finally spoken out about the honour – which will see him receive a cheque for £750,000 from the King of Sweden, King Carl XVI Gustav – branding it as “amazing [and] incredible”.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph newspaper, the songwriter said: “Absolutely [I will go to the ceremony]. If it’s at all possible.
“It’s hard to believe. [It’s] amazing, incredible. Whoever dreams about something like that?”
The news of his acknowledgement comes after Swedish Academy member Per Wastberg voiced his frustration at the star’s inability to return their phone calls regarding the award.
He said previously: “One can say that it is impolite and arrogant… He is who he is.
“We were aware that he can be difficult and that he does not like appearances when he stands alone on the stage”.
Meanwhile, the permanent secretary of the Swedish Academy Sara Danius has compared the works of the ‘Like a Rolling Stone’ hitmaker to that of the ancient Greeks.
She said: “If you look back, far back, 2,500 years or so, you discover Homer and Sappho, and they wrote poetic texts that were meant to be listened to, they were meant to be performed, often together with instruments, and it’s the same way with Bob Dylan. But we still read Homer and Sappho… and we enjoy it, and same thing with Bob Dylan. He can be read, and should be read.”
Earlier this month, a notice on the ‘Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door’ singer’s website featured the text “WINNER OF THE NOBEL PRIZE IN LITERATURE” in a piece promoting a book of his lyrics, however it was later removed.
If Bob does decide to attend the event, he will appear in Stockholm, Sweden, on December 10.

OHMYGOSSIP — James Arthur has defended Justin Bieber after he stormed off stage in Manchester, England.
The ‘Sorry’ hitmaker dropped his microphone and walked off stage during his performance on Sunday (23.10.16), as fans booed him for talking between songs and not playing his hits.
Now, the ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ singer – who rose to fame after being crowned the winner of UK talent competition ‘The X Factor’ in 2012 – sympathises with the 22-year-old, as he says the “unfathomable” level of fame can affect people.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, the 28-year-old singer said: “I think Justin Bieber is a really unique case.
“I feel really sorry for him because I was 25 when I found fame and I got seriously lost from just being famous in England. He has been famous since he was a kid. That level of fame is unfathomable.
“Maybe he’s past the screaming girl phase and he wants people to listen to what he has to say and not just be propped up on stage to sing songs and perform like a monkey. Maybe he’s just over how famous he is.”
The news comes after a string of controversial outbursts from the ‘Love Yourself’ singer, who previously told fans to stay “as quiet as possible” whilst he was singing.
He said: “Try and stay as quiet as possible. You can scream as much as you want afterwards, but while I’m singing try and stay quiet.”
Justin also blasted fans for screaming at his shows, as he finds it “obnoxious”.
He was recorded telling fans: “Just try to show me you love me, in a different way. I get it. The screaming is just so obnoxious. I get it, it’s been in our blood and it’s been grand, you go to a concert and scream and stuff. But if we could just … scream after the song, enjoy the songs … the screaming is awesome, it’s fine, and then we take a chill pill for a second and we just listen to me speak. OHMYGOSSIP — Jodie Marsh has had her harassment charges dropped.
The 37-year-old star was arrested in June and faced charges for allegedly harassing her estranged husband James Placido over money she said was owed to her father.
Now, the former glamour model has taken to Twitter to share her excitement over the news that all charges against her have been dropped, and she will now no longer need to face a court hearing.
She wrote on the social media site on Friday night (28.10.16): “So you know I was arrested & charged with harassing my own husband for texting him about money he owes my dad……. ALL CHARGES NOW DROPPED
“Yep. That’s right. I won’t be going to court (which is a shame as I WANTED my texts to him to be read out). But I’m over the moon still
“I have faith in karma and I knew I would be ok, having actually done nothing wrong. He still owes my dad the money by the way (thousands)
“So now you know folks; if your partner owes you large sums of money, don’t text them more than twice as it’s classed as “harassment” (sic)”
And the beauty was quick to brand her lawyer Katie Armstrong as “incredible”, and stated that her father would now be proceeding with his own lawsuit against James for the money he is allegedly owed.

“My father will now continue to try to reclaim his money and has started his own legal proceedings against my soon to be ex husband.

OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have sold their New Orleans home for $4.9 million.
The 41-year-old actress filed for divorce from the ‘Fury’ star over a month ago, and the pair have now sold their shared home in the Louisiana city for the hefty sum.
The former couple – who share six children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – first put the 1830s-era mansion on the market for $6.5 million in May 2015, long before the news of the divorce filing.
A rep for the pair said at the time: “[Brad and Angelina are] looking for something more off the beaten path.”
Brad, 52, and Angelina bought the property in 2006 after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, and splashed out $3.5 million at the time. They moved into the property whilst the ‘Fight Club’ actor set up the Make It Right foundation to foster new housing development in the wake of the natural disaster.
The three-story home features five bedrooms, three bathrooms, marble mantles and fireplaces, a chef’s gourmet kitchen, and a grand spiral staircase.
The mansion spans a total of 7,645 square feet, and in addition to the main home there is an entirely separate two-story guest house.
Despite having sold the home, the couple are no closer to a definite split as they still currently own a further three properties together – a 5,300-square-foot home in Los Angeles, an extravagant 1,200-acre chateau in Correns, France, and an apartment in Waldorf Astoria Towers in New York City.
The ‘Maleficent’ star filed for divorce from her husband – whom she had been in a relationship with since 2004, and married to since 2014 – on September 19, citing “irreconcilable differences”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lea Michelle is “really happy” with where her life is going.
The 30-year-old actress said that whilst she believes beauty comes from within, she’s thankful she’s never had an “unhealthy relationship” with food and has managed to stay in good shape her whole life.
She said: “Beauty I think comes from the happiness within. And I’m really happy with my life right now.”
“I’ve never thankfully had a period where I had an unhealthy relationship with my body or food. But just the fact that I went from being someone who casually worked out to now someone who really works out, I think is the biggest accomplishment of the year.”
The ‘Glee’ star – who was in a relationship with her co-star Cory Monteith before his tragic death in 2013 – credits her family and friends for her happiness.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, the ‘Scream Queens’ actress said: “I think for me right now… I just turned 30, I love my job, I have the greatest friends, such an incredibly family. What’s not to be so happy and grateful for?”
And with such a tight support system, the ‘New Year’s Eve’ actress is ready to take on just about anything, as she said previously that she prides herself on “achieving goals and constantly growing”.
She said: “I constantly set goals for myself, and then I achieve them. I’m not someone who says they’re going to do something and then doesn’t.
“Follow-through is a huge thing for me. It’s something I look for in friendships and relationships,” Michele continued. “I pride myself on achieving goals and constantly growing and getting stronger. It’s about not becoming stagnant or letting anything hold me back.”

The 48-year-old star – who married her bodyguard Wayne Newton in 2007 before they split three years later – admits she has never found her true Mr. Right and prefers to focus on her career.
She said: “My relationships have never been the true love of my life so far.
“Until I had enough time to realise the love that each one of us as human beings search for was already there for me, I just didn’t quite absorb it that way.
“You have to know what your major priority is and mine is my career. I love my family, granted, but I mean, the bills gotta get paid.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Hailey Baldwin doesn’t want to trade on her famous name.
The 19-year-old model – who is the daughter of actor Stephen and Kennya Baldwin – is determined to prove herself as talented in her own right and insists every one of her famous uncles has had to do the same.
She said: “I want to do everything on my own without my name being a factor.
“I try to keep myself separate from it. Kids that already have a famous background are just following in their families’ footsteps. My dad and all of his brothers have done this. This is my family business.”
But despite her famous family, Hailey is trying to stay grounded and her dad has even threatened to “drag her by the hair” and force her to move home if he feels her jet-setting lifestyle is going to her head.
She said: “My dad has said to me that if he ever thought I was getting out of line, he would fly anywhere and rag me by my hair and make me move home. But my parents know I’m a good kid.”
Hailey – who was previously romantically linked to Justin Bieber – was homeschooled and thinks that made her more mature than other girls her age.
She said: “I actually think that helped me become very mature for my age.
“I didn’t turn out socially awkward, but I just missed out on the partying and all the boys and drama. It helped me skip past being childish.”
Though Hailey loves her glamorous life, she sometimes yearns for things to be more “simple”.
She told Grazia magazine: “I was sitting on the plane yesterday, thinking I wish I could snap my fingers and go back in time to where I grew up, back with my parents when things were more simple.
“But this is the way life is right now and I would never, ever, ever change it. I wouldn’t take it back for anything.”
