OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Timberlake’s life has “changed” since he had a child.
The ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ hitmaker welcomed son Silas into the world 18 months ago and admits it has forced him to reflect on his music career.
He said: “My life has changed and is changing. So it’s important to discover that there’s work you can do where you get more time with your family. I wouldn’t go on tour next week because I wanna be with my son. I wanna be with my wife. What does touring even look like for me now? It’s such a luxury to be able to make those decisions: to be able to think about how you could do the work you used to do in a different way.
“As men, we’re always taught at a young age to be a man and have your priorities in order. And you get to a point where you’re like, ‘It’s not about ‘being a man’, it’s about fulfilment.’ Which is a totally different thing.”
However, the 35-year-old singer says it is a “gift” to have such great fans who got him to where he is today.
He added to Variety magazine: “But the more I go through this – making people laugh, and making people feel – it’s an amazing thing to be a part of. I get a gift out of it.
“When you’re younger, sometimes you can’t see that gift; I think that’s how some people in our industry become so megalomaniacal, in a way: It’s easy to be made to feel like, ‘I made all this happen.’ But you didn’t. You were just there for it. That’s what I feel like whenever I write a song. I was just there for it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams had Botox after being told he had aged.
The ‘Let Me Entertain You’ hitmaker has admitted to undergoing the cosmetic procedure after seeing comments on social media about his appearance.
He said: “I’ve had Botox and some fillers and something done to my chin. And I really like it. With the last few albums I put out I looked on social media people were saying, ‘F**k he’s aged.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I have.’
“I was tired, I had mental illness and stress and whatever was going on up there was coming out in my face. The truth of my mind was written on my face.”
And the 42-year-old singer – who has four-year-old Theodora and two-year-old Charlton with his wife Ayda Field – also admitted to having things done to alter his hair but says he stopped after he saw photos of himself with his “badly dyed hair”.
He added: “Guys don’t talk about having their hair done. They do not talk about it in public, but I did. I thought, ‘Yeah, I’m gonna try this s**t out.’ I had something done I didn’t need done, I was just bored. I will try anything once. Not just related to vanity, but anything. Kangaroo meat? Sure, let’s have some f***ing kangaroo.
“Pop stars shouldn’t be grey but pop stars also shouldn’t have badly dyed hair! I saw a few photos of myself with badly dyed hair and I thought being grey is infinitely better than that f***ing mess you’ve got on your head right now. So this is it, I’m going for it. I’m 42. In pop star years that’s 1042 years old.”
Robbie makes a point of reading “everything” that is put online about him but admits it “crushes the soul”.
He told news.com.au: “I read everything. Yes it’s dangerous. Yes it crushes the soul. But I’m addicted to it. Yes I concentrate on the bad ones.
“I’m addicted to a lot of stuff that makes me feel full stop. Feel angry. There’s an energy in that that’s addictive. I’m addicted to stuff that strokes my ego, there’s an energy to that. I’m addicted to everything about it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruno Mars says his failures have made him who he is.
The ‘Count on Me’ hitmaker was dropped earlier in his career and whilst it “sucked” at the time, he doesn’t think he would still be in the music industry without it.
He said: “[Those days] sucked, but in a beautiful way. Without getting dropped, I might not be here. All of these things you have to go through. It ain’t easy. If it was easy everyone would be doing it.
“The worst absolute moment was telling everybody I got dropped. I’m broke. I’m in debt. Walking into a room saying, ‘Yeah, I’m a signed Motown artist,’ then walking in and saying, ‘I’m a dropped Motown artist.’ But I’m not blaming anybody over there.
“Sylvia Rhone gave me a deal and the timing wasn’t right. I had to go through this journey. I had to meet Jeff [Bhasker] and beg him to come play at Pickwick’s Pub on Ventura with me. I had to sing these songs and gig. I was 20-years-old. I wasn’t even supposed to be in these places probably.”
And the 31-year-old singer hopes he will be remembered for his music and not for any “scandals or controversy”.
Asked how he wants to be remembered during an appearance on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show on Apple Music, he added: “I hope that my music does the talking. I just wanna do music. It could be boring for people this day and age, but I don’t wanna be known for no scandals or controversy. I want to be the guy that brings joy to your life through his music. That’s it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwen Stefani didn’t want her fans to “think she was a failure” when her marriage broke up.
The ‘Used To Love You’ hitmaker split from Gavin Rossdale in 2015 but says the pair “worked really hard” to try and save their relationship.
She said: “I don’t think you’ll talk to one person who didn’t make it in a marriage who’s not gonna feel that way. The intention of being married is the vow, right? You want to put everything into it to make it a success.
“[My parents] just had their 50th anniversary. I had to work really hard at marriage, all the time, like everybody, but ours was extra hard. When you add that we’re from different countries, both of us being in music, and celebrity.
“[Marriage] was the one thing I didn’t want to fail at. People can say whatever they want to about me … and I don’t get too affected. But I didn’t want them to think I was a failure. There’s nothing weird about how I felt.”
And the 47-year-old singer – who is now dating Blake Shelton – feels she has been “woken up again” in the last year.
She shared: “Sometimes to be woken up again in life, you need to go through some really bad, hard times. I feel like I got woken up this year.”
Asked about the past year, she added to the new issue of Glamour magazine: “Mind-blowing. I don’t understand my journey. It’s so crazy. But one thing I learned is, that’s what life is. We all have to go through hard times. Tragedies. Those are given to us to see what we’re going to do with them. How can we give back? How can we improve when we have these challenges?”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ star Brad Garrett has got engaged.
The 56-year-old actor – best known for playing Robert Barone in the series from 1996 until 2005 – recently popped the question to his girlfriend Isabella Quella, who is 24 years younger than him, his representative confirmed to ‘Entertainment Tonight’.
The couple have reportedly been quietly dating since 2008 and have now decided to their relationship to the next level by getting hitched because they “click on every level.”
Brad said: “We’re old souls. That’s why we get along so well. We click at every level.”
Although they’re very much in love, Brad appreciates that their age gap is something that often raises eyebrows but he doesn’t mind because his priority is the blonde star.
He said recently: “I’m with someone now who’s a little young. We had an Amber Alert [given a warning] the other night when we went to the movies.
“[Don] Rickles walks up to the table and he looks at her and he looks at me and he goes, ’12? 13 maybe, Brad?’ And then he looks at her and goes, ‘You being kidnapped, honey? Blink if you’re being kidnapped.’ I immediately put her in a timeout.”
This will be the second time Brad walks down the aisle as he was previously married to Jill Diven, whom he has two children Maxwell and Hope, in 1999 but their relationship came crashing down six years later and they went on to divorce in 2006.
Shortly after their divorce, Brad appeared on his own reality TV show ‘Dating Brad Garrett’ as he attempted to find love with women he met on the internet.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ayda Field has become a Guinness World Records holder for smashing the most pumpkins in one minute.
The 37-year-old actress – who is married to Robbie Williams – took on the challenge in a segment organised on ‘Loose Women’ on which she is a panellist, and although she failed the televised attempt she nailed it on her second try smashing 15 pumpkins as Guinness World Records officials watched.
Ayda is now going to have her achievement immortalised in the Guinness Book of World Records and has been presented with a framed certificate which she wants to hang on a wall at their home in replace of one his special discs for album and singles sales.
Speaking in a video message with Robbie aired on ‘Loose Woman’ on Tuesday (01.11.16), the golden-haired beauty said: “I think I would like to take down one of your gold discs like ‘Escapology’ to put this up.”
However, cheeky ‘Angels’ hitmaker – who has four-year-old daughter Teddy, and two-year-old son Charlton with the ‘Strange wilderness’ star – joked that he couldn’t replace a gold disc because his accolades are even more impressive.
In reply to Ayda’s suggestion, he quipped: “You wouldn’t find gold discs, they are all platinum.”
Ayda has recently taken to social media to reveal her preparation prior to yesterday’s success, which saw her complete various warm-up techniques and undergo a practise run of her attacking the vegetable next to her partner’s car.
Alongside the Flipagram video of Ayda training for the event, which also featured snippets of her in action during yesterday’s competition as well as a still shot of her with the framed certificate, she shared to her Instagram account with Survivor’s ‘Rocky III’ theme ‘Eye of the Tiger’ playing over the clip.
She also wrote: “@robbiewilliamsBeing a Guinness World Recod Holder doesn’t come easy… #halloween#smashingpumpkins #girlpower (sic).”
Meanwhile, Ayda – who is a regular panellist on the popular daytime chat show – will be joined by her 42-year-old partner on the programme on November 14 as he’s grilled on his career and their relationship.
Speaking previously about the forthcoming guest, Ayda said: “I do believe that Mr Robbie Williams will be coming to Loose Women very shortly … I’m so excited!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Marilyn Manson had to pretend to eat a real leech on the set of the TV show ‘Salem’.
The 47-year-old shock rocker stars in the third season of the American supernatural drama series as a barber and one scene saw him have the slimy segmented worm in his mouth, although he wasn’t allowed to swallow it.
Asked what it was like eating a leech, he said: “I was a little disappointed that the leech handler wouldn’t let me be a little bit rougher with them [laughs]. They don’t really have nervous systems, technically. But I remember as a little kid I used to pour salt on slugs. They’re probably from the same family. And I have eaten escargot before, so I figured why not eat the leech? It’s not that big of a deal.”
Asked if it was a real one, he added: “Yeah. I wasn’t technically allowed to swallow it. So we will agree to disagree to agree that there is a leech in my mouth that did not necessarily get eaten.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Personal Jesus’ hitmaker – who made his acting debut in David Lynch’s ‘Lost Highway’ in 1997 – also painted a goat black on the set just for fun.
He told Rolling Stone magazine: “I’d seen that movie ‘The Witch’ about a week into working on ‘Salem’ … And the goat in the movie, Black Phillip, became an obsession of mine. So on the last day of the shoot, I requested a black goat to play with, just off set, just for my own recreational purposes. But they brought a red goat, so I sang quite simply … ‘I see a red goat, and I want to paint it black’ (to the tune of Rolling Stones’ ‘Paint It Black’). And everyone really got a kick out of it. And I did: They did let me paint it black. It was ornery.”
Manson appears in the third season of the show, which premieres Wednesday (02.11.16) on WGN America.

OHMYGOSSIP — Billy Corgan has lost his legal bid to take control of TNA Impact Wrestling.
The Smashing Pumpkins singer – who was named president of the sports entertainment organisation in August – had filed a lawsuit in which it was stated that due to “multiple events of default” on three loans, which totalled $1.8 million, that he had given to the company he had the legal right to take over the business, of which the majority shareholder is Dixie Carter.
Billy named Dixie, Serg Salias, TNA Wrestling and the brand’s parent company Impact Ventures in his lawsuit and informed a court in Nashville that he was legally entitled Carter’s voting rights, that he should be able to “remove the managers of Impact Ventures, LLC” and he also requested a temporary restraining order to prevent TNA from doing business without his consent.
Now his claims have been rejected by the court as it was ruled that the ‘Today’ hitmaker did not meet the “required burden of proof”, however, TNA is required to pay Corgan back by November 1, 2016.
TNA has been working with Fight Network as it battles against insolvency and Fight Network’s parent company, Anthem Sports & Entertainment Corp., has already gone on record as saying they will repay Corgan’s loans on behalf of TNA which would make Anthem the majority shareholder as they would take over 85 per cent of the company’s shares as part of their own prearranged agreement with TNA leaving Dixie with just five per cent and Aroluxe Marketing with the rest.
The 54-year-old musician – who is a lifelong wrestling fan – has taken to his Twitter account to share his thoughts on the ruling and although his claim has not been upheld he is pleased his case was heard.
In a series of tweets, he wrote: “For those asking, I’m in no way disappointed in the judge’s ruling regarding TNA. Rather, I’m grateful the judge considered the case. It’s important to note these proceedings have brought forth facts which illuminate business practices I have fought against for a reason. And I suggest that a careful reading on the judge’s ruling supports there can be no claim of victory by anyone in a position of authority.”
In a further blow to TNA – which has star wrestlers such as Abyss, Bobby Lashley and Matt Hardy and his brother Jeff Hardy under contract – British broadcaster Challenge TV announced on Tuesday (01.11.16) it will no longer continue to air the company’s shows from January 2017.
A statement released on Challenge’s website reads: “We know that many TNA fans will be disappointed to hear this, but we wanted to let you all know that as of January 2017, Challenge will no longer be the home of TNA in the UK. TNA has been a huge and important part of Challenge’s story over the years and we will treasure some great moments like the ‘British Bootcamp’ and UK tours. We have been proud to bring UK viewers coverage of TNA and have huge respect for the company and its fans. TNA is packed with great talent and we know they will continue to do great things – we wish them all the best.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Courtney Love feels like a “momager” to her daughter.
The Hole rocker previously had an acrimonious relationship with 24-year-old Frances Cobain – her only child with late husband Kurt Cobain – but they get along well now and she loved spending time with her at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year.
Frances is wanted for a number of fashion campaigns but she’s going to wait until her debut LP is released before committing to any project.
Speaking to the new issue of Grazia magazine, she said: “It was great doing the shows with Frances, we get along fine now. It feels like this is her debut [at the Chanel show], I was like her momager.
“She’s been offered a load of campaigns but she’s not going to consider anything until her album is out.
“I do feel like I am passing the torch of high fashion on to my daughter. She doesn’t borrow much from my wardrobe, she’s finding her own style – she’s only 24. I am very proud of her.”
The 52-year-old singer took Frances with her and Kurt to the MTV Music Video Awards in 1993 and the entire family donned vintage garb because Courtney felt “freaked out” by the free designer clothes she’d be sent.
Discussing the time, she said: “This still makes me feel a sense of loss for Kurt. I wore an Edwardian vintage dress – everything was vintage back then. I didn’t have anything new, I’d get send free stuff but it would freak me out. It was Frances’ first red carpet and even she was in vintage. They were Russian princess baby clothes.”
Courtney was known for her tiaras and babydoll dresses on stage with Hole, but doesn’t have many of her tour outfits any more as they all got damaged by the crowds.
She said: “I had many, many boxes of wardrobe for the tour [in 1995].
“But I don’t have many of those dresses now because they would get ripped up when I stage dived.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Mendes is to return to the theatre to direct a new play by his ‘Spectre’ writer Jez Butterworth.
The 51-year-old director worked with Butterworth on his second James Bond film – which he co-wrote with Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan – and now he is going to return to his stage roots to helm ‘The Ferryman’, penned by the 47-year-old playwright.
‘The Ferryman’ is set in rural County Londonderry in Northern Ireland and the play takes place in 1981 at the height of the prison hunger strikes which claimed 10 lives during the ethno-nationalist conflict which took place in the country and was known as ‘The Troubles’.
Speaking about the project, ‘Jerusalem’ creator Butterworth, 47, told the London Evening Standard newspaper: “It is a play about a family where the past comes back into the present in a way that shows it was never really buried. It is set during the end of the hunger strike, but it is away from that urban setting of the hunger strike and set on a farm where the main preoccupation is bringing the harvest in. It is looking at the notion of whether you care for the land with a capital L or a small l, and whether you take up the sword or the plough.”
The news of Mendes’ move back to the theatre comes after he admitted earlier this year that he would no longer be working on the Bond franchise following his two films ‘Skyfall’ and ‘Spectre’ – which starred Daniel Craig as 007 – as he wants a fresh challenge.
He said previously: “[James Bond] was an incredible adventure, I loved every second of it. But I think it’s time for somebody else. I’m a storyteller. And at the end of the day, I want to make stories with new characters.
“I can guarantee whatever happens with it, it will not be what you expect. That’s what she [producer Barbara Broccoli] has been brilliant at, and that’s how it’ll survive.”
‘The Ferryman’ will run at the Royal Court Theatre in London between April and May 2017, and comes as part of a number of new plays for the theatre’s 2017 season which creative director Vicky Featherstone has dubbed as an “exciting mixture”.
She said: “I am humbled and thrilled to be announcing such a varied and exciting mixture of work from playwrights and theatre-makers at the top of their game, pushing the limits of their potential to challenge, surprise and provoke us.
“This is the Royal Court at its best – a place for attracting some of the great playwrights and theatre-makers of our times to experiment and take risks to give us, the audience, the most extraordinary experiences possible.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Charli XCX looks like a “zombie” when she’s drunk.
The 24-year-old pop beauty has just unveiled her zombie-themed music video for her latest single ‘After the Afterparty’ and has confessed she looks like a revived corpse when she hits the booze.
Asked if she was frightened by the make-up used on the extras in her video, in a behind-the-scenes video posted on social network Vero, she said: “I loved it! I look like a zombie when I’m wasted anyway so it was like looking in the mirror to be honest.”
Meanwhile, Charli has given her fans – known as ‘Charli’s Angels’ – an insight into her forthcoming third studio album, which is inspired by partying and falling head over heels with someone after a wild night.
She told Billboard magazine: “Most of the songs on the album are about partying or about falling in love with someone after partying.”
Charli also recalled one of the biggest music industry parties she went to, which lasted until 4am and saw someone vomit all over her walls at her lavish pad.
She shared: “After some PC Music show, we hired two limousines and were partying at 4 a.m. And then we were going back to my house, and then someone from PC Music was vomiting on my wall at my house in LA – which is great, but not so funny the day after.”
The sultry brunette has since made a rule not to hold any events at her home because she doesn’t want her “old and vintage” furniture to get damaged.
She said previously: “I invite friends over and we hang out, but I’m really into furniture design, so I’m crazy about my stuff – like if someone spilled wine on my sofa I would go insane. It’s old and vintage. I have more pizza and movie nights than raves. I go to someone else’s to do that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mary J. Blige’s divorce has been “hard” and painful because her perception of what her relationship was has been totally altered.
The 45-year-old singer is in “the thick” of her separation from former partner Martin ‘Kendu’ Isaacs, after filing for a divorce in July after 12 years of marriage, and has admitted realising her loved one was not the person she thought he was has been “horrible”.
Speaking openly about her love life on UK TV show ‘Loose Women’ on Tuesday (01.11.16), the soul powerhouse said: “I’m in the thick of it. I’m in the middle of a divorce. It’s just how hard life is. It’s the pain. Not even knowing someone that you thought you knew for years is horrible.”
However, the ‘No More Drama’ hitmaker has revealed she has to “keep the joy” to “survive” and get through the split.
She explained: “But there’s hope in it as well, because I have to keep the joy so I can live and survive. I can’t just die in all this sadness. In spite of my pain and crying and releasing everything on stage to my fans, I kept my joy and that’s what keeps me going. Life is real.”
Despite previously battling alcohol and drug addictions, as well as being in an abusive relationship with a previous boyfriend in 1994, Mary is adamant she would have never followed a self-destructive path all the way to death like Amy Winehouse and Whitney Houston who both died from their respective addictions and were married to abusive husbands.
She explained: “I wouldn’t [change my past] because I wouldn’t be this strong person. It’s through trials and hard times that make us stronger that show us how to keep our joy and show us what we’re made of. You find yourself. Am i a wimp? Or am I a strong woman? I’m a strong woman.
“I feel great and I feel like it is very, very hard period [to overcome alcoholism], because I know because I was there. You have to choose life, I chose life. I can’t speak for them [Amy and Whitney] because I don’t know how strong or how weak they were, I just know they were beautiful to me. But, when you actually see death, you choose life.
“It’s a product of staying positive. It’s not just about looking fine, it’s about my mental being, my mental, my physical, my spiritual, just everything being together.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Daisy Ridley thought it was a “great moment” when fans complained they were not enough Rey toys for sale when ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ was released.
The 24-year-old British actress portrayed the heroine in the sci-fi sequel alongside John Boyega as Finn and Harrison Ford, who reprised his role as Han Solo from George Lucas’ original trilogy with all three characters integral to the story.
When the toy line was released by Hasbro under license from Disney – who bought the rights to the franchise from Lucasfilm – devotees were incandescent with rage over the lack of Rey action figures, despite a plethora of figurines of far less important characters from the galaxy far, far away.
Petitions were started and “Where’s Rey?” trended on social media and Hasbro explained that the lack of toys and merchandise – including her omission from a ‘Star Wars’-themed Monopoly board game – were to stop key plotlines from being spoiled before the release of J.J. Abrams’ movie last December.
Daisy is very thankful for all the support she received and admits she hadn’t really thought too much about getting a miniature likeness of her alter ego before the furore began.
In an interview with Collider.com, she said: “I think when it really became a big thing is when J.J. talked about Monopoly. There had been conversations long before that that I was having with people because I didn’t really understand what was going on. And John Boyega in fact told me that he had written to someone and I was like, ‘huh’ because he is more of a toy person than I am … I think it was well-intentioned, usually it’s boys that buy those kinds of toys. And I think it’s a great moment of what’s happening in the world with girls and how different people are playing and how they’re interacting with the things they see in popular culture. So yeah, it’s cool … My whole thing isn’t about the backlash, it’s if a character is important in the story, then that should be dealt with in every platform whether it’s merchandise, whether that’s posters, anything, it needs to be dealt with in the correct way regardless of gender, regardless of colour. So to be honest, how the public reacted to it was amazing, because it was a testament to the character and to what J.J. did with the casting.”
Daisy recently had a meeting with executives about what is happening in terms of merchandise for her character for ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’ and she is very excited about the items that are going to be hitting stores.
She said: “Interestingly, I had a meeting yesterday about merchandise and what’s happening going forward, so I had a lot of questions that were answered and some, you know, issues … I’ve been told what the plans is for next year and it’s really cool, really exciting.”
Shooting on ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’ – directed by Rian Johnson – has wrapped and the blockbuster is scheduled for release on December 15, 2017.

OHMYGOSSIP — Blac Chyna is set to give birth on TV.
The 29-year-old star is currently expecting a baby girl with fiance Rob Kardashian and the pair could make “hundreds of thousands of dollars” by allowing cameras into the delivery room.
According to gossip website TMZ, Rob and Chyna are in talks for a baby special of their reality show, which will include footage of the birth, Chyna’s baby shower and the run up to the birth. It will also document the first few days of their daughter’s life.
It also claims Chyna – who already has a son, King Cairo, by ex Tyga, who is now dating Rob’s younger sister Kylie Jenner – is deciding whether to let cameras get really intimate footage of the birth.
The Kardashians are no strangers to giving birth in front of the cameras as Rob’s older sister Kourtney, gave birth to two of her children, Mason, six, and Penelope, four, for ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’.
The couple already have their own E! reality show, ‘Rob & Chyna’ and it has reportedly been renewed for a second season.
Meanwhile, Chyna – whose real name is Angela Renée White – recently revealed how she plans to follow a “strict” eating and fitness regime as soon as she gives birth to her second child, which is due on November 16.
She said: “My goal is to gain, like, 100 pounds this pregnancy. I’m gonna tear it up, then I’m gonna snap back. Strict diet, waist training, detox tea and working out.”
The make-up artist has regularly shared updates about her weight gain on social media app Snapchat, and she still has a long way to go to reach her target, as she shared less than two weeks ago that she’s put on 50lbs during her pregnancy so far.

She revealed: “I collect old sinks – I’m dead serious. I particularly love Belfast sinks, if I can find them. I keep them in my basement and have quite a decent collection.”
Although Sarah Jessica lives in New York with her husband Matthew Broderick and their three children, James, 14, and seven-year-old twins, Marion and Tabitha, she has also got a love for London, which started from a young age.
She explained to ES magazine: “I first came to London when I was 11 and rehearsing for a play directed by Harold Pinter. I’d watch the Changing of the Guard with my father and one day, I took my cardigan off because it was so warm and draped it over the gate of Buckingham Palace. I went back the next day and it was still there. My dad exclaimed: ‘Look how civilised the people of London are – they’re so honest and honour-bound!’ Then I said: ‘Some day when I’m a grown-up, I’ll live in London because that’s where grown-ups live.'”
And whenever the 51-year-old star in in London, she always makes sure she sees her ‘Did You Hear About The Morgans?’ co-star Hugh Grant.
She said: “I always try to see Mr Hugh Grant when I’m in town. We usually have spaghetti bolognese with mutual friends at Claridge’s.”

OHMYGOSSIP — David Van Day has had a “stent fitted” following his heart attack.
The 59-year-old former Dollar singer underwent the procedure after he experienced a cardiac arrest following three days of chest pains.
David – who is married to Sue Moxley – underwent the procedure to open a blocked artery at London’s St Bartholomew’s Hospital and is doing well, his spokesman has confirmed.
The operation involves a short wire-mesh tube being inserted into the artery via a catheter and the stent is left in place permanently to allow blood to flow through the artery freely.
His spokesman also revealed he “should be leaving for home soon” where he will need to spend a month recuperating from the operation.
David – who came fourth when he appeared on reality TV show ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ in 2008 – has been inundated with get well soon messages from his friends and fans on Twitter since news of his health scare broke and he is very grateful for the well-wishes.
He tweeted: “Thanks for all the kind and positive messages I’ve had today. I’m hoping to make a speedy recovery.”
The singer – who was one half of ‘Mirror Mirror’ hitmakers Dollar with Canadian-born Thereza Bazar – also used his social media account to praise all the staff at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and at Queen’s Hospital in Romford, Essex, South East England where he was first taken by his spouse Sue to be assessed for chest pains.
He tweeted: “Feeling a lot better just got to take it easy for a while Queens & Barts staff fantastic (sic)”
