OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Buble’s eldest son has cancer.
The ‘Haven’t Met You Yet’ hitmaker took to social media to confirm the devastating news that his son Noah, three, – who he has with his wife Luisana Lopilato – has been diagnosed with the illness and is currently undergoing treatment in the United States.
In a statement released on Michael’s Facebook page, they said: “We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US. We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children.
“Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well. At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”
The tragic news comes not long after the 41-year-old singer – who also has eight-month-old Elias – admitted he didn’t realise the “perspective” having a child would give him.
He shared: “The only regret that I have in my life is that I took this long to have kids, because I had no idea the perspective it would give me. I had no idea how much I would love being a dad.
“That’s it, that’s all I care about … I love them too much probably, if there was such a thing. It’s made everything else so insignificant, moments that I was afraid of and moments that would overwhelm me have now become a joy because I’ve realised how not serious they are compared to what is really important, which is Noah and Eli and that’s it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sting will reopen the Bataclan music venue in Paris almost a year after a terrorist attack at the site killed 89 people.
The 65-year-old musician will perform at the reopening of the venue on November 12, just one day before the first anniversary of the attack which saw ISIL terrorists wearing suicide vests opened fire during an Eagles of Death Metal concert.
The attack was part of a set of coordinated attacks in the French capital carried out around Paris on November 13 2015, resulting in a total of 130 deaths.
In a statement posted to Sting’s website, the former Police frontman wrote: “In reopening the Bataclan, we have two important tasks to reconcile. First, to remember and honour those who lost their lives in the attack a year ago, and second, to celebrate the life and the music that this historic theatre represents. In doing so, we hope to respect the memory as well as the life-affirming spirit of those who fell. We shall not forget them.”
Tickets for the reopening go on sale on Tuesday (08.11.16), and all proceeds raised from the event will be donated to Life for Paris and 13onze15: Fraternité Verité, two charities that provide support for victims and their families.
The news of Sting’s appearance at the reopening of the venue comes after it was recently revealed that Libertines frontman Pete Doherty would be performing at the venue – which has undergone extensive refurbishment after it was left ruined by the attacks – on November 16 and 17.
This will then be followed by appearances from Youssou N’Dour, Marianne Faithfull, Laurent Garnier and Yael Naim elsewhere in the month as part of the Bataclan’s move to continue bringing top acts to Paris.

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams and Ayda Field chose the songs for his album whilst in the bath together.
The ‘Party Like A Russian’ hitmaker played the full length of his ‘The Heavy Entertainment Show’ album to get the approval of his wife and whilst she liked most of the tracks, she tried to pass on a love song he wrote for her.
He said: “There’s a song on the album called ‘When You Know’ and it is about Ayda, it’s a loving song that I wrote for her. We were playing what goes on the album in the bath together and I played the first song and she said yes, that goes on, second song, yes that definitely goes on, third song, yeah.
“And we got to the fourth song and it was ‘When You Know’, which is the song about Ayda and at the end of the song, there was just silence and she said, ‘No – I don’t think so’. I was like, that’s your Valentine’s gift – I’m not going to do that again!”
And the 42-year-old singer – who has Theodora, four, and Charlton, two, with Ayda – relied on his wife, who he describes as a “gatekeeper”, to help him whittle down from 80 tracks to just 16.
Speaking to Louise Minchin on BBC Breakfast, he added: “I spent a lot of time making this album as I do for all the albums but there’s 80 songs that have gone into the pot. They sort of show themselves; the best rise to the top.
“But then you have to play what goes on the album again with the gatekeepers and the gatekeepers are my management, my A&R guy at the record company and my wife. And she’s the biggest gatekeeper of them all. I don’t know if you’ve seen ‘Spinal Tap’ but she is the Jeanine of my life.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Alicia Keys believes motherhood has released her inner “aggressive bad a**”.
The 35-year-old singer, who has sons Egypt, six, and 22 month old Genesis with her husband Swizz Beats, has admitted being a parent has opened her up to a “new space” where she feels “strong” and “unafraid”, and the star has learnt to take the time to “listen” to herself, which she never used to do.
Speaking to Net-A-Porter’s The Edit, the ‘Fallin’ hitmaker – who has recently released her new album ‘Here’ – said: “When you’re first figuring yourself out, you care so much about what people think of you. [But] Lately, I’ve been exploring my relationship with myself. It’s tripping me out!
“I’m in this new place. It’s growth, time, living, feeling and just … being more.
“Once I became a mother I knew I was strong, but not ready to do what I’m doing now. If I had to attribute it to anything, I’d say that it’s taking more time to listen to myself. I never did that before and I think it’s opened up a new space in me; aggressive bad a*s, unafraid, uninhibited, calling it as I see it … And not whatever else I used to be.
“I feel like it’s by design that I’m raising boys; like there’s a reason. I really feel that,” she says. “They say that every child learns from their mother – it’s ingrained from babyhood
And the musician has revealed she occasionally treats herself to a massage because she can’t relax and believes she “deserves” the luxury.
The brunette beauty explained: “I don’t relax that well.
“I love me a massage and I do deserve it. I also love meditation, which I got deeply into this past year – it’s changed how I relate to people and music and my kids.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Reese Witherspoon wants her children to “grow up with passion”.
The ‘Wild’ star – who has Ava, 17, and Deacon, 13, with her ex-spouse Ryan Phillippe and Tennessee, four, with her husband Jim Toth – likes her children to know how hard she works as she feels it will make them hard workers too.
She said: “My mom worked, and I think it’s good for kids to see women working and being successful. I think it’s going to make them hard workers because they see that I don’t get much sleep.
“I’m just trying to hold on, trying to make it through. My older kids help with the little one. It’s nice to have a big family … I want them to grow up with passion. This is the one life you get, and you have to live it to the very end.”
And the 40-year-old actress feels “much more confident” now she is older.
She told the December issue of InStyle magazine: “I’ve realised that life is too short to spend my time with anybody who doesn’t appreciate me, treat me with respect or bring value to the relationship. I’m much more confident now, and I feel like I have the ability to say, ‘Nope, I don’t want to work with that person.'”
Meanwhile, Reese previously revealed she is trying to do the best she “possibly can” with her three kids.
She shared: “No one’s really doing it perfectly. I think you love your kids with your whole heart, and you do the best you possibly can …
“There are some sacrifices you make, and it hurts your heart sometimes, but my kids tell me they’re proud of what I’ve accomplished, and that just means everything. I grew up with a working mom, and I have so much respect for the things she did as a nurse and a teacher. I would never begrudge her that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Douglass thought he “totally blew” his chances with Catherine Zeta-Jones after their first date.
The 72-year-old actor – who has been married to the 47-year-old actress for 16 years and have daughter Carys, 13, and son Dylan, 16, together – has revealed he believed his cringe-worthy chat up line, which saw him tell the brunette beauty he was going to be the father of her children, had scared away his spouse.
Speaking about the couple’s first date and the fateful one liner on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, which will air on Saturday (05.11.16), the movie legend said: “[He said to Catherine] ‘You know, I’m going to be the father of your children.'”
However, the ‘Mask of Zorro’ star didn’t seem impressed and after revealing to Michael at the time she knew “a lot” about him and his past, she swiftly left.
Speaking about his partner’s response, Michael – who has a 37-year-old son, Cameron, from his previous relationship with Diandra Luker – said: “[Catherine said] ‘I’ve heard a lot about you and I’ve seen a lot about you and I think it’s time that I said goodnight.’
“So I thought ‘I’ve totally blew it.’ She was gone early the next morning and she went to [Scotland]. I thought ‘It’s all gone I’ve just destroyed it.'”
However, the ‘Fatal Attraction’ star admitted he tried to make it up to Catherine by sending her a bouquet of roses and an apology note.
Meanwhile, the silver fox has credited his wife for keeping him looking “sexy”, although he feels like a pre-historic being because he can’t get to grips with social media.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Cliff Richard thinks it would be “great” to perform at Glastonbury Festival.
The 75-year-old music legend has admitted if he was approached to headline at the annual music extravaganza, which takes place in Somerset, England, he would “seriously” think about it, and would plan a tour to start before or end after the gig.
Speaking to the Mirror Online about the potential gig, the ‘Devil Woman’ hitmaker, who is set to perform a series of outdoor concerts next year, said: “They are like festival shows; open air concerts.
“We’re doing two in Denmark, one in Ireland and nine in Britain.
“If they invited me to Glastonbury I would seriously think about doing it. Then I’d either plan a tour to start there or end there. It would be great.”
However, the ‘Summer Holiday’ actor has revealed he wouldn’t want to camp because he doesn’t like to get dirty and covered in mud.
He explained: “Camping’s not for me. I’m too old for that – I wouldn’t want to get dirty.”
Although the veteran musician has admitted he has “admiration” for all of the concert-goers who embrace the weather conditions and the lack of showers and washing facilities to watch the acts regardless of who is performing.
He said: “I have admiration for all those folk that go. Apparently there have only been seven years when it didn’t rain.
“They seem to have great fun all sloshing about in the mud. It doesn’t even matter what bands are there – although they love their bands – it could be anybody playing.
“They’re just there having a good time. It’s wonderful to see.”
Meanwhile, the singer songwriter has revealed he has no plans of retiring from the music industry any time soon.
Speaking previously, Cliff said: “It’s important not to give in to age. It’s just a state of mind. You need to keep your state of mind clear.
“Retirement is not in my vocabulary. It’s too easy for us to think, ‘Oh, I’m 76, I can’t be seen doing that’. That’s wrong, just wear what you’re going to wear. Be what you are going to be.”

The 30-year-old singer songwriter – who ended her five-year romance with the 35-year-old actor earlier this year – is reportedly still besotted with ‘The Other Woman’ star and is still in love with him.
Speaking to US Weekly about the ‘Bad Romance’ hitmaker – who recently jetted to Chicago to watch the Chicago Cubs’ fifth game of the series in the VIP box she used to observe from with Taylor – a source said: “[Lady Gaga] wants to get back together [with Taylor].
“There’s a lot of love.”
And the musician has previously revealed she has been talking to her former flame “every day” since they decided to go their separate ways in July.
Speaking previously, another source close to the blonde beauty said: “Gaga and Taylor are talking every day about giving it a second chance.”
Gaga, who met her beau on the set of her music video ‘You and I’ in 2011, would allegedly “spy” on Taylor and “constantly” call him over the summer months to see what he was doing, which led the pair to distance.
Another source said: “Gaga would constantly call Taylor on the set of Chicago Fire, and even made friends with crew members so she could basically spy on him. He got fed up.”
However, the ‘Bad Romance’ hitmaker has revealed she is “100 per cent ready” to stop her controlling ways and give their relationship another try.
The source added: “‘Gaga told Taylor that she knows that she has trust issues and she admits she needs to give him his space.

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams feels everything makes sense now he has children.
The ‘Heavy Entertainment Show’ hitmaker has admitted to suffering from stage fright in the past but since the arrival of Theodora, four, and Charlton, two, he has found a “purpose”.
He said: “It has been in the past where stage fright has been that overwhelming that I thought I couldn’t do it anymore. But it’s not that way now.
“Things change with having kids and having a wife and having a purpose. During my career, great things were happening for me but I was bouncing off walls aimlessly going, ‘Why doesn’t any of this make sense?’ And now it does.”
And the 42-year-old singer – who married Ayda Field in 2010 – has a better concert when the showman inside him makes an appearance.
Speaking to Louise Minchin for BBC Breakfast, he said: “Most of the time Robbie Williams turns up and then sometimes, I have to do it by myself. [It’s a better show] when Robbie Williams turns up.
“There’s footage of me at Knebworth and six songs in, I’m like, ‘Right, I’m back.’ And there’s 135,000 people going ‘eh’ because we’re already six songs in.”
Meanwhile, Robbie previously admitted that he lives in fear that his career will be “taken away” from him.
He said: “I’m neurotic and I find things to worry about, and if there’s nothing to worry about, I make something up. When we got put together in Take That, we were told it wasn’t going to last, you’d be lucky if you got five years.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner believes her sister Kendall Jenner is growing up “too fast”.
The 19-year-old ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star has revealed her and her older sibling have “dreamt” for the year they would turn 21 and 19, but now the time has come the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner brood cannot believe where the time has gone.
The television personality took to social media to pen a heartfelt birthday message to the 21-year-old model, who reached the milestone on Thursday (03.11.16).
Alongside a picture of the sisters when they were younger, on her Instagram account, Kylie wrote: “my big sister is 21 happy birthday Kenny. My other half. I wouldn’t be me if it weren’t for YOU we dreamt about the day when you’d turn 21 & I’d be 19. It came too fast … But who you are and where you are today was beyond my wildest expectations! You are an angel my supermodel sister. I love watching you live out your dreams. Every Kylie needs her Kendall @kendalljenner (sic).”
The Kylie Cosmetics founder also shared an image of her cuddling Kendall, which saw her admit to needing the brunette beauty in her life.

OHMYGOSSIP — Cyndi Lauper believes there’s “a lot of darkness’ in life.
The 63-year-old singer – who has batted with depression throughout her career – has admitted she tries to stay positive by bringing “a lot of light” to herself because she thinks the world can be too dark a place.
Speaking to Closer magazine about her outlook on the world, the ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ hitmaker said: “There’s a lot of darkness (in life), but there’s also a lot of light.
“I really try to bring a lot of light to myself.”
And the musician – who has 18-year-old son Declyn with her husband David Thornton – has revealed she is a “family person” and loves “the heck” out of her brood, which helps to keep her strong.
She said: “And I’m a family person. I love the heck out of them.”
Meanwhile the star, who has enjoyed a successful career in the music and entertainment industry spanning over 30 years, doesn’t believe she has “ever achieved greatness”.
She explained: “I don’t think I have ever achieved greatness despite everything I’ve done … but it’s not so much greatness, it’s happiness you need to focus on. Enjoying life is the best revenge. You have to stay connected to life and the things that excite you. Life is for learning.”
And Cyndi has also claimed people have taken advantage of her throughout her career.
Speaking previously, she said: “I was never smart about money like Prince. I wish I wasn’t taken advantage of so much.
“You can’t live your whole life worrying about staying famous. If losing some fame means doing what you want, you gotta go with what you want.
“I think I have reached an age when I can have pink hair if I want – or blue hair. But blue, it turns a little green, so right now I am going with the pink.”
