OHMYGOSSIP — James Corden is to host the 2017 Grammy Awards.
The ‘Late Late Show’ star is to take control of proceedings at America’s biggest music prize-giving ceremony for the first time.
Corden – whose ‘Carpool Karaoke’ segment on his talk show has attracted music superstar guests such as Adele, Stevie Wonder and Jennifer Lopez – is taking over the job from LL Cool J, who has hosted for the past five years.
In a statement announcing the news, The Recording Academy President and CEO Neil Portnow said: “Thanks to ‘Carpool Karaoke,’ we’ve all been on some incredible rides with James, and The Recording Academy couldn’t be more excited to welcome his passion and enthusiasm for music, both as an entertainer and a fan, to the Grammy stage on February 12. He’s got big shoes to fill after the magnificent run we had with LL Cool J, but James Corden is a commanding, dynamic showman who, we believe, is perfect to host the Grammy Awards.”
Corden is thrilled to have been offered the job and cannot wait for next February to roll around.
He said: “I am truly honoured to be hosting The Grammys next year. It’s the biggest, most prestigious award show in music and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such an incredible night.”
Luckily, Corden has experience of hosting massive music awards shows as he has hosted the BRIT Awards in the UK on three occasions.
For his first attempt in 2009 he co-presented The BRITs with his former comedy partner Mathew Horne and pop babe Kylie Minogue with their effort drawing lukewarm reviews, however, his stints in 2011 and 2012 were far better received.
Back in June, Corden helmed the 2016 Tony Awards.

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Bieber has praised Cruz Beckham’s cover of his song ‘Home to Mama’.
Cruz’s mother Victoria Beckham unveiled a recording of him singing the track on her Twitter account on Monday (21.11.16) linking to the 11 year old up’s SoundCloud account which he intends to use to help him launch a pop career.
Justin has had a chance to listen to Cruz’s interpretation of his work and has taken to Twitter to reveal he is impressed by the young man’s talent.
Retweeting Victoria’s original post of the track, the ‘Sorry’ hitmaker wrote: “Young Cruz! Great job buddy #hometomama (sic)”
The audio clip features Cruz singing parts of the acoustic track and Justin’s lyrics can be heard on other sections of the tune.
Cruz’s version of the song has been listened to on SoundCloud 149,000 times and attracted almost 2,500 likes at the time of writing. His account has over 2,000 followers.
Cruz uploaded the song on Saturday (19.11.16) but is yet to share any more of his tunes.
Victoria and her husband David Beckham – who also have three other kids, Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, and five-year-old Harper – only noticed Cruz had a talent for singing a few months ago when she heard him singing along to the radio while sitting in the back of the family car.
The Spice Girls star said: “He’s always the one that plays football, and he was just singing in the back of the car one day. And he was singing, and I was like, ‘Wow, you can really sing.’ And then he picked up his cups and off he went.”
The entire Beckham family are fans of Justin and David, 41, took all his kids to see his concert at The O2 in London back in October.

OHMYGOSSIP — Anastacia used to “resent” her mastectomy scars – but has now stripped off to show them for the first time.
The 48-year-old singer has undergone several treatments and surgeries as a result of fighting breast cancer twice, and despite admitting she used to feel bitter about having the marks on her body, she has posed naked to show she doesn’t feel that way nowadays.
She said: “I resented them – I resented how large they were but I also understood why I needed to go through all the physical changes.
“My scars are part of my journey and a reminder of all the things I went through with my mastectomy.
“At this point, I feel great to show them in a way that’s artistic with a respected team in fashion because it’s transformed my bodies faults into art.”
Anastacia was first diagnosed with the illness in 2003 aged 24 and again 10 years later, after which she took a career break for two years.
The ‘Left Outside Alone’ hitmaker admits she didn’t expect the surgery marks to be so big and has been feeling “nervous” about people seeing them for the first time.
Speaking to Fault Magazine online, she added: “The surgeons had to go around my tattoo; the scars really should have been on my bra line but to graft skin the surgeons needed to find a place that wasn’t compromised. I wasn’t expecting it to be as long but it was the only way.
“I’m nervous to let people see them, I really am, but I want to be able to go on the beach and not have the first photographs taken of my body to be ones that I didn’t give.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona wants a designer vagina.
The Atomic Kitten star has had five children and she is reportedly keen to undergo a non-surgical procedure using plastic balls, rejuvenating cream and a vacuum to strengthen her pelvic floor and tighten her private parts after watching Tanya Bardsley undergo the process on ‘The Real Housewives of Cheshire’.
A source told Closer magazine: “The latest thing Kerry wants done is minky tightening. After seeing it on ‘Real Housewives of Cheshire’, she wants to speak to Dawn Ward, who owns the clinic, to book in a treatment.
“She’s really happy with her body at the moment but she feels that after five kids she would benefit from the procedure. Kerry’s attitude is that she feels perfect from head to toe now, so she might as well be perfect on the inside too.”
And despite her husband George Kay reassuring her he loves her just as she is, the 36-year-old singer – who has previously spent over £25,000 on cosmetic surgery including a tummy tuck, liposuction, and a breast reduction – is debating undergoing further operations in her bid to look as good as possible.
The source said: “George keeps reassuring Kerry he loves her the way she is but because he is very body conscious, she wants to look as good as possible for him.
“Kerry is considering another boob job and has said that if she gains weight again, she’ll have more lipo – the agony she was in after her op last month is forgotten.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Whole Again’ singer is also hoping to land a reality show for herself and her family.
The insider said: “Kerry would love to do another show – she wants to call it ‘Keeping Up With the Katonas’ and have it following her life, just like the Kardashians.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan Markle has found it “challenging” juggling fame with her philanthropy work.
The 35-year-old actress has opened up about being invited to the BAFTAs in London while she was still working in Rwanda in Eastern Africa at the Gihembe refugee camp for UN Women earlier this year and how in her “heart” she wanted to say “no” to attending the glitzy bash.
In an essay penned for Elle UK magazine, she wrote: “My brain, heart and spirit couldn’t shift gears that quickly, from the purpose-driven work I had been doing all week in Rwanda to the polished glamour of an awards show. ‘No,’ my heart said. And it wasn’t a soft whisper; it was a lion’s roar …
“And in that moment, my gut said no because while my two worlds can coexist, I’ve learned that being able to keep a foot in both is a delicate balance. No, they are not mutually exclusive but guiding my heart through the swinging pendulum from Hollywood fantasy to third-world reality is challenging in its own way.”
The ‘Suits’ actress also opened up about her increased fame since it was confirmed she is dating Prince Harry, and how she hopes to “advocate” and “inspire” others.
She wrote: With fame comes opportunity, but it also includes responsibility – to advocate and share, to focus less on glass slippers and more on pushing through glass ceilings. And, if I’m lucky enough, to inspire.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sinitta was plagued by a recurring dream in which she was chased by a horse.
The 53-year-old star – best known for her 80s pop hit ‘So Macho’ – had the strange night vision over and over again and although at first the equine dream troubled her she now interprets it as something positive.
When asked if she’s ever had a recurring dream, she shared: “I used to be chased by a horse. It could get into small spaces and rooms it wouldn’t naturally fit in. I associated it when the expression, don’t look a gift horse in the mouth – so I thought that it meant that I should see every opportunity positive.”
When she’s not fleeing horses in her sleep, Sinitta has a more simple routine to her daily life.
The sometime ‘X Factor’ mentor – whose ex-boyfriend is Simon Cowell – said: “I do my Pilates in Fulham, I walk my poodle, Scarlett O’Hara, then I’m with my interns making programmes … I’ve made a studio in my place, got some great internet filmmakers and started making programmes. We’ve been making everything from cookery and panel shows to programmes about exercise and aesthetic makeovers.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Alicia Silverstone has bared all to campaign against wearing wool.
The 40-year-old actress has stripped off as part of PETA’s (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) I’d Rather Go Naked series to highlight animal abuse and the plight of those killed for their clothing over the past few decades.
Speaking about wool, she said: “It’s just so fast, the shearing process.
“[The sheep are] cut, they’re harmed. They get very seriously wounded, and there’s no care for them when they’re wounded. It’s just, ‘Move on to the next.’ ”
Alicia is promoting PETA’s #WoolFreeWinter campaign, and the star insists she will never purchase wool again.
Speaking in a video interview with the animal rights organisation, she asks: “Why not make that leap? Say, ‘I’m never going to buy wool again’.”
The ‘Clueless’ actress appears naked in a green forest in an advert for the latest campaign, which carries the message: “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Wool. Wear Vegan”.
Celebrity photographer Brian Bowen Smith snapped Alicia in all her glory.
The star is not the only celeb to have stripped off for PETA recently.
Pamela Anderson did the same to draw attention to the amount of water wasted in the production of meat.

OHMYGOSSIP — Reese Witherspoon has set up a media company to deliver female-driven content.
The 40-year-old actress has teamed up with Otter Media to launch Hello Sunshine, a brand which aims to create and discover stories by and for women through TV shows, movies and digital content.
She said in a statement: “I’m thrilled to be partnering with Peter Chernin and AT&T on this exciting new company.
“My lifelong passion has been to tell women’s stories with authenticity and humour. This partnership will allow me to reach a greater audience that is eager for more female driven content.
“Hello Sunshine is deeply committed to creating content that will reach women where they spend time, whether it is at a movie theater, at home or on their mobile device.
“Women are looking for entertainment that speaks to them about what they value. Hello Sunshine will make content that entertains, educates and brings women together.”
The ‘Wild’ star’s new company will begin sharing content in 2017.
The actress recently admitted it is “good” for her children, Ava, 17, and Deacon, 13, who she has with her ex-spouse Ryan Phillippe, and Tennessee, four, with her husband Jim Toth, to see women being “successful”.
She said: “My mom worked, and I think it’s good for kids to see women working and being successful. I think it’s going to make them hard workers because they see that I don’t get much sleep.
“I’m just trying to hold on, trying to make it through. My older kids help with the little one. It’s nice to have a big family … I want them to grow up with passion. This is the one life you get, and you have to live it to the very end.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Bieber has showed off some silky soccer skills during a training session with FC Barcelona.
The ‘Never Say Never’ hitmaker turned on his football talent at the Catalan club’s training ground on Monday (21.11.16) as he had a kick about with the Spanish giants’ Brazilian players Neymar and Rafinha.
He tweeted afterwards: “Great day”
Justin’s skills certainly seemed to impress Brazil international Neymar, who took to Twitter to share a picture of the 22-year-old star trying to take the ball past him.
He wrote: “Impossible to dribble this defender…@justinbieber”
Rafinha also appeared to enjoy the club’s special guest, as he took to Twitter to share a picture with the ‘Company’ hitmaker.
He wrote: “Great visit today! Nice to see you @justinbieber (sic)”
The pop star also retweeted a message from the official Barcelona account which posted a video of his “mad skills” in action, including him burying a shot into the bottom corner of the goal.
It read: “Veratile @justinbieber shows off mad #SkillsFCB with @Rafinha & @NeymarJr both on attack and in goal! (sic)”
Justin took part in the training session ahead of his show in the Spanish city’s Palau Sant Jordi sporting arena on Tuesday night (22.11.16), part of his 138-date ‘Purpose World Tour’.
He will head to Madrid on Wednesday (23.11.16), where he will perform at the Barclaycard Center Madrid.
It’s not the first time Justin has rubbed shoulders with Barca greats.
In 2011, he also paid a visit to the club and enjoyed a chat with Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta.

The 18-year-old model – who is the daughter of music legend Lionel Richie and his second wife Diana – has publicly announced she has joined the social media platform during the early hours of Tuesday morning (22.11.16).
The star announced the news by writing her first post, she tweeted: “Just a bit late to the twitter game (sic).”
The blonde beauty also shared the news on Instagram with a picture of her first status.
She captioned the upload: “Just a bit late but hi twitter (sic).”
And within just a few hours of joining, Sofia already boasts 3,642 followers, although she is only following 11 people including her sister Nicole and her former ‘Simple Life’ co-star Paris Hilton.
Meanwhile, Sofia – who was announced as the face of Pretty Little Thing earlier this year – has been advised by her father to “surrender to the moment” and to “give 1,000 per cent” when she’s working.
Speaking previously about the 67-year-old musician’s tips, Sofia – who has recently been working with Michael Kors on the latest chapter of the designer’s ‘The Walk’ series – said: “My dad’s advice is to always have fun with everything I do. And when I get to set to give 1,000 percent and surrender to the moment.”
It isn’t just the ‘Hello’ hitmaker that Sofia has been receiving advice from, as 35-year-old fashion designer Nicole taught her younger sister to be “confident” and “comfortable”.
Sofia added: “Nicole has taught me to be confident within myself and comfortable at the same time. And to not let the small things get to you.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Faris has been fined $5,000 after her pet dog was found homeless.
The 39-year-old actress has been dished out the penalty after the Chihuahua – named Pete – she adopted from Kinder4Rescue four years ago was found emaciated wandering the streets in North Hollywood, California, on Friday (18.11.16).
Writing on the Kinder4Rescue official Facebook page, Laurel Kinder – who runs the rescue centre – wrote in a since-deleted post: “Calling Anna Faris house bunny The puppy you adopted from us years ago was found starving on the street. Someone brought it into a vet, scanned the microchip, we’ve been calling you for days no return call did you read your contract about giving our dogs away and the $5,000 fine.
“If you were panicking looking for your lost dog you certainly would’ve contacted us or the microchip company. I’m not sure what you’re guilty of this dog ended up in this condition, you signed a four page contract how does this dog end up on the street Anna, being a celebrity does not excuse you from following the rules or respecting the rescue you adopted the dog from, or abiding the contract. This is why people are not allowed to give Kinder4Rescue dogs away they have adopted from us because they become disposable get passed around and end up on the street like this (sic).”
Anna and her husband Chris Pratt, with whom she has four-year-old son Jack, are reportedly out of town and arranged for the dog to live elsewhere, although it’s not yet known whether that arrangement was permanent or temporary while they were away.
Her representative told People: “Anna is thrilled that the dog has been found, and is ensuring all necessary arrangements are made to bring the dog home.”
However, according to TMZ, Laurel has put the actress on the shelter’s do-not-adopt list and is adamant Anna – who signed a lengthy contract when she got the pooch – will have to prove she’s been actively looking for the dog before she’ll be able to get out of the fine.
It’s not yet known if the shelter is willing to hand Pete back over to the couple.

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry has been invited to Antigua with his girlfriend Meghan Markle.
The 32-year-old royal was singled out in front of 300 VIP guests by the country’s Prime Minister Gaston Browne, who said the flame-haired hunk would be more than “welcome” to visit with the ‘Suits’ actress and they could even celebrate their future honeymoon on the island.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Browne told the crowd at a VIP bash at the official residence of the Queen’s representative, the Governor General, on Monday night (21.11.16): “I believe we are expecting a new princess soon.
“I want you to know that you are very welcome to come on your honeymoon here.”
Harry remained silent as Browne, added: “Whatever is done here, stays here. So do not worry.”
Organisers of the Colours of Charity event were told not to talk about the ‘Suits’ actress.
Halo Foundation worker, Cuthbert Forbes, who helped put on the event, said: “We were told not to talk about it.
“It came up at an organising committee meeting when we were thinking about what we could talk to him about and one of the core members of the committee said we shouldn’t talk about his girlfriend because it is personal.”
It comes following Harry’s statement saying he was “disappointed” he hasn’t been able to protect Meghan from the online trolls she has faced since the couple’s romance was made public.
The statement released by Kensington Palace read: “His girlfriend, Meghan Markle, has been subject to a wave of abuse and harassment. Some of this has been very public … the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls and web article comments.
“Prince Harry is worried about Ms Markle’s safety and is deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her. It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms Markle should be subjected to such a storm. He knows commentators will say this is ‘the price she has to pay’ and that ‘this is all part of the game’. He strongly disagrees. This is not a game – it is her life and his.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mariah Carey was spotted walking “hand-in-hand” with her backup dancer Bryan Tanaka.
The 46-year-old star, who recently split from her former fiancé James Packer, and the 33-year-old hunk have fuelled speculation they are getting closer after they were seen walking into Airbnb’s Open Spotlight event in Los Angeles on Saturday (19.11.16) with their hands together.
A witness told the New York Post’s Page Six column: “It looked like they’re legit dating.”
Mariah is also said to have been spotted “feeding” Bryan when they spent time together alongside the superstar singer’s manager Stella Bulochnikov and kids at LA spot Catch.
A source told the publication: “Bryan had his arm around Mariah all night. She fed him dessert.”
Bryan is said to have been helping Mariah – who has five-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with her ex-husband Nick Cannon – through her split from James.
An insider recently said: “After all she’s been through, she’s like, ‘I’ll do what I want.’ She’s enjoying the attention from Bryan.”
The dancer recently featured in a trailer for Mariah’s new reality TV show, ‘Mariah’s World’, but there was no sign of James in the preview for the E! docu-series, leading to claims he has been completely removed from the show.
An Australian site said: “Packer was supposed to appear in the first six episodes, but his team has been demanding that the network remove him.”
Another insider recently told a different publication: “[James] is demanding that E! and Carey remove him from all footage of ‘Mariah’s World’.
“He wants E! to reopen all the footage they got of him and edit him out of the show.’
“This poses a threat to the much-hyped docuseries as the bulk of the show is them planning a wedding.”

OHMYGOSSIP — James Corden wants to “film something” with Brad Pitt.
The 38-year-old TV host would love to work with the ‘Allied’ actor on a project or maybe have him appear on ‘The Late Late Show’.
He said: “I would love to film something Brad Pitt. Not a ‘Carpool Karaoke’, just something fun. I just dig him. I think he’s really funny.”
Meanwhile, James has confirmed that pop superstar Bruno Mars is to appear on ‘Carpool Karaoke’.
He told ET Canada: “It’s the most fun I’ve had in the car.
“I can’t wait to see it. I’ve never had that much fun doing work ever in my life.”
The British comedian has also praised Mariah Carey for her dedication to her forthcoming episode on the popular segment of the American talk show.
He said: “None of it would exist without her.
“We owe her a huge amount of gratitude.
“Her vision to be able to see what it could be, and say yes to doing it is the very thing which has made our show what it has become.”
And earlier this week, Madonna confirmed that she will also appear on ‘Carpool Karaoke’ as she shared a picture of herself and James on Instagram.
She captioned the image: “Riding around Manhattan with this Hunk of Burning Love @latelateshow carpool karaoke (sic)”
‘The Late Late Show’ Instagram account also shared the same picture, with the caption simply containing three praying emojis in reference to Madonna’s hit singe ‘Like a Prayer’.
‘Carpool Karaoke’ features Corden, 38, picking up a star in his car, and interviewing them whilst the pair sing along to some of their biggest hits. Previous guests on the segment have included Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, One Direction, and Adele.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West has been hospitalised amid cancelling the rest of his ‘Saint Pablo Tour’.
The ‘Famous’ rapper is said to be receiving treatment at a Los Angeles hospital for “exhaustion” and “sleep deprivation”.
A source told People magazine: “He is exhausted and currently dealing with sleep deprivation.
“He went to the hospital at will under the advice of his physician.”
A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson has also confirmed that they received calls of a disturbance on Monday afternoon (21.11.16), however, it was deemed a “medical emergency”.
They said: “At 1.20pm, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to an unspecified medical aid request in the 900 block of North Laurel Avenue.
“An adult male described as medically stable was taken to an area hospital for assessment.”
The 39-year-old star’s wife Kim Kardashian West, 36, is believed to have flown back to Los Angeles to be by her husband’s side and cancelled her first public appearance since she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.
The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star – who has three-year-old North and Saint, 11 months, with Kanye – was in New York with her mother Kris Jenner and sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian at the 2016 Angel Ball, but didn’t show up following Kanye’s admission to hospital.
Kris was questioned about her son-in-law’s abrupt cancellation of his tour and confirmed he is suffering with exhaustion.
Speaking on the red carpet, she told Entertainment Tonight: “I think he’s exhausted. Just really tired. It’s a gruelling tour.”
The ‘Only One’ hitmaker’s hospitalisation comes a day after he decided to pull the plug on a series of concerts he was due to play across North America this month and into December.
Kanye cancelled his show at The Forum in Los Angeles on Sunday (20.11.16) just a few hours before he was expected to go on stage.
A message on The Forum’s Twitter page read: “Tonight’s show has been cancelled. Refund at point of purchase (sic)”
And he also turned up over an hour and a half late to his gig on Saturday (19.11.16) before fleeing the stage after making a dig at Jay Z.
In a clip taken by a fan at the show, he said: “Jay Z I know you got killas. Please don’t send them at my head. If you keep following old models, your ass is going to get Hillary Clinton’d. Don’t go dissing Beyonce, she’s great. Taylor Swift is great. We are all great.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendall Jenner and Jordan Clarkson were “very touchy-feely” at an American Music Awards after-party.
The 21-year-old model – who was recently said to be dating A$AP Rocky – and the 24-year-old professional basketball player were spotted being “extremely affectionate” towards one another at Drake’s post-awards show bash at Los Angeles nightspot Delilah on Sunday night (20.11.16).
An eyewitness told E!: “You could see that they’re really into each other and they certainly weren’t hiding it. They were very touchy-feely!
“She was laughing the whole time! She was super giddy and loving every minute of it. It was obvious that they have a very playful, fun relationship.
“They were extremely affectionate and sweet towards one another. It’s obvious he makes her so happy!”
While they weren’t seen smooching one another, it is said they shared a warm embrace and were holding hands, plus the Los Angeles Lakers star is said to have given Kendall a few kisses on the cheek.
The eyewitness added: “They both were smiling from ear to ear. You could tell that they didn’t care about anyone else and, to each other, they were the only two in the room.
“Several times it looked like they were going to kiss, but refrained.”
What’s more, Jordan is said to have treated Kendall “like his girlfriend” during their intimate moments in the club.
Told PEOPLE: “They definitely had a flirty vibe going on and were very intimate.
“Jordan was extremely attentive towards her and treated her like his girlfriend.”
Kendall and Jordan have recently been romantically linked after she ended her on/off relationship with One Direction’s Harry Styles earlier this year, but she was said to have moved on with A$AP.
