OHMYGOSSIP — Drake did not perform at a gig he was paid £200,000 for.
The rapper was booked to perform at pop-up nightclub, VIP ROOM, in Abu Dhabi on Saturday (26.11.16) night but there are conflicting reports about why he did not take to the stage at the gig, despite reportedly being paid in advance.
A representative told Mirror Celeb the day after his no-show: “Due to Drake’s overwhelming popularity the sheer number of people that turned up outside of VIP ROOM made it completely unsafe for Drake to even enter the venue in the end so he was unable to perform.
“Saying that he will still be performing at VIP Room tonight alongside other celebrity guests.”
However, a source told the publication that Drake’s appearance was axed for other reasons.
The insider said: “His management had an argument with the management of Abu Dhabi pop-up nightclub VIP ROOM last night and he didn’t turn up for an appearance that he’d been paid £200k for.
“DJ Bliss, the most famous DJ in the Middle East, had to play all night as Drake was a no show.
“Drake is due to perform at the club again tonight, but it’s not unknown if he will turn up.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Blac Chyna has lost 23lbs since giving birth.
The model and her sock designer boyfriend Rob Kardashian welcomed daughter Dream two weeks ago and Chyna is working hard to lose the baby weight.
In a post on Snapchat, she told fans: “39lbs go away !!! Lost 23 lbs so far !!! Goal 130 post baby weight (sic).”
When some people accused her of having surgery to aid her weight loss, she added: “So I posted a picture of my belly yesterday and the only reason it got that flat, you guys, is from breastfeeding and breast pumping and from my body already being small before my pregnancy. And for everybody that…yeah, sorry, try again. Not surgery guys.”
And Chyna isn’t the only one who wants to shed the post-baby weight, as Rob has admitted he needs to lose weight too.
Speaking previously about his shape, he said: “[I need to] get back on it now cuz our baby is here. (sic).
“It’s time for me to lose this damn weight already. (sic). ”
The ‘Rob & Chyna’ stars plan to follow a “strict” diet now that the baby has been born and Chyna – who already has four-year-old son King Cairo with her former partner Tyga who is dating Rob’s half-sister Kylie Jenner – claimed she plans to undergo rigorous “waist training” to get her pre-baby body back.
She said previously: “My goal is to gain, like, 100 pounds this pregnancy. I’m gonna tear it up, then I’m gonna snap back. Strict diet, waist training, detox tea and working out.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Iggy Azalea paid tribute to her plastic surgeon on his birthday.
The 26-year-old rapper took to her Instagram account over the weekend to lavish praise on Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Ashkan Ghavami, who performed a nose job and breast augmentation on her.
She wrote: “It might seem obvious I’d hold the man I owe my fabulous nose and breasts to in high regard. But vanity aside; Ash you’re hilarious as hell, talented, eclectic, a progressive thinker & someone who supports women in their choice to do what they want with their OWN bodies (tons of men don’t share that sentiment).
“So cheers to you! I’m proud to call you my friend (sic).”
And Dr. Ghavami was so touched, he took to his own Instagram page to reply.
He wrote: “Thank you a mill for everything! Your bold confidence is to be mad respected! My BDay is complete,” he wrote. “Those like you who stand apart and trailblaze their own path no matter who tries to block or impede it, ALWAYS come out ahead , most importantly for themselves (sic).”
This isn’t the first time Iggy has shown her appreciation for the surgeon on social media.
In July she shared a picture of herself and her doctor and praised him for the work he has done on her breasts.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariel Winter has a new boyfriend.
The 18-year-old ‘Modern Family’ actress split from Laurent Claude Gaudett in June after almost three years of dating and has found love again with ‘The 100’ actor Levi Meaden.
Ariel and Levi were spotted holding hands in Los Angeles over the weekend and her pal Jack Griffo confirmed the romance by sharing a picture of them together in his Instagram story and writing: “That’s my girl w/ her man.”
Ariel was briefly linked to Sterling Beaumon – who shot to fame as a young Benjamin Linus on hit TV series ‘Lost’ – in July but the pair are just friends.
They have known each for years and co-starred in a 2010 Nintendo advert but set tongues wagging earlier this year when they attended the SkySpace Launch Party in Los Angeles together and were very affectionate with each other.

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel C says Little Mix’s skimpy outfits are “absolutely fine” after she previously branded them as “too sexy”.
The former Spice Girls singer – full name Melanie Chisholm – previously hit out at fellow girl band Little Mix for being “provocative” in the way they dressed, but has now claimed both her and her daughter Scarlet, seven, “love” the ‘Shout Out to My Ex’ hitmakers.
When asked about the comments she made about Little Mix, Mel said: “I’m upset about that. I didn’t even see the video to comment on it, but I love them and so does Scarlet.
“Personally, I’ve never worn skimpy outfits because I don’t feel comfortable. I’m athletic. I don’t have a voluptuous figure and I’ve never seen myself as sexual.
“But some people do like to dress that way and that’s absolutely fine.”
The ‘Wannabe’ hitmaker, 42, says her criticism instead lies with “society and culture” for encouraging the “sexualisation of young children”.
She added: “As a mum I have to be responsible. The over sexualisation of young children isn’t the fault of young women, is it? It’s society and culture.”
And the ‘I Turn to You’ singer even admits her former band – completed by Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Mel B, and Victoria Beckham – received backlash for their own outfits.
Asked if the Spice Girls were ever criticised for their outfit choices, Mel told The Mirror newspaper: “Yeah! I was so naive. We all were. ‘Say You’ll Be There’ the other girls were in PVC and thigh-high boots. We tie a man up for God’s sake.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rocco Ritchie says he’s “so glad” he no longer lives with his mum Madonna.
The 16-year-old son of Madonna and Guy Ritchie has taken to Instagram in a now-deleted post that seemingly slams his 58-year-old mother for being embarrassing.
Rocco took to the picture sharing website to post a video of his family – including Madonna and his adopted siblings David, 11, and Mercy, 10 – taking part in the Mannequin Challenge which requires the participants to stay completely still. Madonna was filmed with food hanging out of her mouth as she froze mid meal.
The video footage was captioned: “So glad I don’t live here anymore.”
When fans of the ‘Like a Virgin’ singer came to her defence to tell the teenager it was just a bit of fun, Rocco simply replied with a series of laughing emojis.
According to The Sun, Rocco also reportedly blocked a number of his mother’s fans on the site, preventing them from accessing his page.
Rocco currently lives in London with his father, where he was arrested last week for possession of marijuana.
A source said at the time of his arrest: “Rocco has become a well-known figure in the neighbourhood and not for the right reasons. He’s been repeatedly seen acting suspiciously.
“This incident was the final straw. Local residents are fed up with him acting in this manner and called the police.”
According to sources, Rocco was sat on a wall with a friend when police approached them and the officials noticed traces of cannabis on his clothes.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “A 16-year-old has been arrested for possession of cannabis. He was bailed and dealt with by Camden Borough’s Youth Offending Team.”
A few days after her son’s arrest, Madonna released a statement asking for “privacy” whilst the matter is dealt with.
She said: “I love my son very much. I will do whatever I can to give him the support that he needs, and I ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Niall Horan says it would be “ridiculous” to not reform One Direction in the future.
The 23-year-old singer recently released his debut solo single ‘This Town’, but has squashed claims his band – completed by Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne – have disbanded forever as he confirms they “will be back”.
Speaking to Sunday People newspaper, Niall said: “At the moment we are all doing our own thing. Everyone is just enjoying just how chilled it is.
“Harry wanted do is his movie and everyone is just chilling. I don’t think anyone needs to worry about us we are fine.
“We will be back. We would be silly not to… ridiculous.”
It isn’t the first time the ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ singer has hinted at the return of One Direction either, as he previously stated there would be “plenty more” material from the boy band.
He said: “There’s going to be plenty more One Direction shows, that’s a guarantee so it’s not a case of one more show. There’s definitely more than one more 1D show coming up, that’s a fact.”
The ‘History’ hitmaker also stood up for his fellow band mates, saying no-one gives them “enough credit” for how hard they work in the studio, after former member Zayn Malik – who left in 2015 – said he didn’t have enough creative freedom.
He said: “I don’t think anyone really gives One Direction enough credit you know – in terms of what we were like in the studio.
“They think ‘Here we go, another manufactured lot that don’t really write their own stuff’, but people would be wrong if they thought that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Adele is planning on teaching “a few classes” at her old school once her tour is over.
The 28-year-old singer was trained in the musical arts at the prestigious BRIT School in London, and sources have suggested that she has been “seriously” thinking about returning to the performing arts institute to “teach a few classes”.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “Adele is grateful for the success she’s had and has been talking a lot about her beginnings while on tour.
“Tony Castro, who was head of music at the BRIT School, is someone she feels particularly grateful to because he made students write their own songs.
“And talking about how teachers influenced her has made her think more seriously about teaching herself.
“Once she has recovered from the tour, she would love to teach a few classes.”
The ‘Hello’ hitmaker’s possible turn to teaching comes after she recently stated she wanted to take time off from touring in order to give her four-year-old son Angelo – whom she shares with partner Simon Konecki – a little sibling.
She said on stage recently: “I’ll see ya later, I’ll see ya on the other side. In a couple of years when I’ll be back, you won’t be able to get rid of me. I’m going to go and have a baby.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Wahlberg finds it “extremely difficult” to talk about the Boston marathon bombings.
The 45-year-old Boston native stars as Sergeant Tommy Saunders in ‘Patriots Day’, the drama based on the events of the 2013 terrorist attack – which resulted in six deaths and left approximately 280 people with non-fatal injuries – and says whilst he felt a sense of “pride” being involved in the project, it’s also made the event “more and more difficult” to deal with.
Speaking at a special screening for the movie, Mark said: “It’s such a small community, so everyone knew someone who was affected.
“I also felt a sense of pride being there. It was extremely difficult making [the] movie… it’s becoming more and more difficult to talk about it.”
Meanwhile Kevin Bacon – who also stars in the movie as an FBI Special Agent named Richard DesLauriers – said it was important “not to live in fear” of the terrorist attacks, as he believes if you are scared, “they won”.
He added at the screening: “You have to choose whatever feels right to you and your family… but what I choose is to not live in fear. Because if you live in fear, they won.”
Previously, Mark said he felt an immense amount of “pressure” to get the movie right, due to it’s sensitive nature.
He said: “We felt like it was very important to do this, but do it right.
“And of course, me being from Boston, and knowing that I would be held accountable personally, it was a lot of pressure, certainly more pressure than I’ve ever felt.
“Everybody knows somebody who was directly affected by this.
“It’s such a small community. So, yeah, I felt an enormous amount of pressure, but I knew, based on my work experience with Pete [Berg, the director], that he was the right guy for the job because of how much he cares.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Phil Collins doesn’t believe the moon landings took place.
The ‘In the Air Tonight’ singer’s old group Flaming Youth based an album, ‘Ark II’ on the historical 1969 event, but he admits he is sceptical as to whether Neil Armstrong really did step on the moon.
He said: “They had the premiere of our album, ‘Ark II’, at the Planetarium (London venue), where they played the music and projected a light show on the ceiling. It was all in the air.
“We’d already recorded the LP and we spend an evening – the evening – when the Americans apparently went to the moon…
“It’s a can of worms and I don’t know if I should open it. But I have a lot of questions about that.
“Anyway, we were on the rooftop of their very glamorous Hampstead period townhouse, looking up at the moon and watching it on TV. It was a very heady time.
“It was basically the beginning of serious discussions about space travel and that’s what ‘Ark II’ was based on.”
The 65-year-old musician went from drummer to frontman when Peter Gabriel quit Genesis and the thing he found hardest was filling the gaps between songs.
He recalled to Uncut magazine: “My main worry was what I was going to say to the crowd as the band are tuning their 12-string guitars between songs.
“You can’t let the dead air settle, you have to fill it, and that’s what Peter became good at.
“I used to tell little stories. Sometimes it was terribly embarrassing.
“I concocted this story for ‘The Cinema Show’. We were in spain in a bullring and for some reason I can’t quite fathom, the story involved an inflatable doll.
“There was this guy, trying to blow the doll up, and he’s smoking and of course he bursts the doll. It was quite funny on paper.
“But I’m standing there in this bull ring, telling my story, which is written on a bit of paper in my hand, in pidgin Spanish, trying to blow up an inflatable doll… It became quite clear this story was going to take a good half hour.”

‘The Crown’ actor is reportedly planning to whisk girlfriend Lily James – who he has been dating for two years – off to New York for Christmas, and will pop the question while they’re on their trip.
A source told Grazia magazine: “They are absolutely besotted and a wedding has been on the cards for a while.
“The question has always been finding a time when they’re not both up against it with work. They’ve openly discussed getting married in the past.”

The rapper’s longtime collaborator Che ‘Rhymefest’ Smith, revealed on Instagram that the house in Chicago has been bought will be the first in a series of “Nationwide Lite-Houses” run by Donda’s House, the charity he co-founded in memory of Kanye’s late mother, Dr Donda West.
He wrote: “I’m excited to announce the purchase of Kanye’s childhood home as a community Arts incubator. It will be the first of our Nationwide Lite-Houses. A state of the art recording studio, a curriculum space for @dondashouse and southside music museum. We want to show bright spots in communities thatve been divested from, we know more Lights exist here, they just need to be activated.

A message on the charity’s website states: “Donda’s House, Inc. provides unprecedented access and education from leading experts in music, fashion, and tv/film to Chicago’s youth and young adults. Donda’s House was created in 2013 by Grammy-award winning artist Che “Rhymefest” Smith and distinguished educator, Donnie Smith, Donda’s House, Inc.

Taylor threw a beach party for her ‘squad’, including model pals Lily Donaldson, Martha Hunt, singer Todrick Hall, her brother Austin and her parents Scott and Andrew at her lavish estate in Rhode Island, New England, to celebrate the holiday but Selena flew to Texas to be with her family.

OHMYGOSSIP — Madonna spent Thanksgiving (24.11.16) at a homeless shelter for LGBT youth.
The 58-year-old singer took to Instagram to reveal that she had spent the US holiday supporting the charity in New York, which helps young people who have been rejected by their families because of their sexual or gender identity.
She wrote: “Had so much fun sharing Thanksgiving at the Ali Forney Center in Brooklyn! This center protects LGBT Youth from the harms of homelessness and empowers them to reclaim their lives. Each year the Ali Forney Center provides care for over 1,200 youth who are rejected by their family due to their LGBT identity. AFC provides these youth with tools they need to become independent and more importantly, AFC provides these youth with the love and support they are denied by their families. Because everyone deserves to be loved and everyone deserves a home (sic).”
Meanwhile, earlier this week, Madonna released a statement in the wake of her son Rocco Ritchie’s arrest for possession of marijuana.
The 16-year-old son of Madonna and Guy Ritchie was arrested after he was allegedly caught with the drug in his rucksack in Primrose Hill, London and the star asked for “respect” and “privacy” whilst the matter is dealt with.
She said: “I love my son very much. I will do whatever I can to give him the support that he needs, and I ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”
The news of Madonna’s support for her son comes after it was previously reported that Rocco had become “well-known figure” in the area and could often be seen “acting suspiciously”.

He is said to have been dealt with under the Triage system, which aims to ensure young people who are arrested for low level offences for the first time are diverted out of the criminal justice system with the use of restorative practice.
As a result, it is not thought he will get a criminal record but may have to attend a number of workshops.
