OHMYGOSSIP — Elijah Wood finds it “amusing” when he’s mistaken for Daniel Radcliffe.
The 35-year-old actor – who has similar facial appearances to the ‘Harry Potter’ star – has admitted people often mix him up with the English hunk, 27, but he no longer gets frustrated with the confusion and finds himself having a little chuckle to himself.
Speaking to the Telegraph newspaper, he said: “It’s really common. I ran into somebody the other day and they said, ‘I loved you in ‘Swiss Army Man’ (which stars Daniel). I was like, ‘Oh, there we go again!’ I actually find it really amusing.”
But it’s not just Elijah who is often left red faced by the error as the ‘Sin City’ star has heard that Daniel – who shot to fame at the tender age of 11 – also has to deal with it.
He added after a brief pause: “Apparently the same happens to him with me.”
Much like Daniel, Elijah shot to fame as a child when he starred in the 1990 TV series ‘Child in the Night’ as Luke – a role that landed him a nomination for the Young Artist Award – but he believes he managed to stay grounded thanks to his family.
He explained: “I was lucky in the sense that I started work very young but had a solid family base provided by my mother. She instilled a strong sense of perspective and humility in me from a very early age.”
But his friend Brad Renfro – who also shot to fame as a child – wasn’t so lucky and passed away at the age of 25 from an accidental heroin overdose.
Elijah said: “That kind of excess has never interested me. I find it boring. But I don’t envy people who are suddenly thrust into fame, because there are no tools to understand how to deal with that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Elizabeth Hurley’s son is “in love” with Kaia Gerber.
Damian Hurley, the 14-year-old son of the ‘Bedazzled’ actress – whom she shares with 51-year-old businessman Steve Bing – has admitted he has a huge crush on the 15-year-old daughter of Cindy Crawford.
Speaking alongside his mother on E! News, he said: “I’m in love with Kaia Gerber. If she happens to see this.”
Elizabeth approves of the pairing, saying: “Yeah, she’s gorgeous. She’s gorgeous. I know her mum, obviously.”
Damian then said: “I do not, as of yet. Fingers crossed.”
And it isn’t just Kaia that Damian has his sights set on, as he also admitted to having a long lasting crush on 24-year-old pop megastar Selena Gomez.
Elizabeth, 51, continued: “We’ve gone through stages where he’s had crushes on all sorts. He had a Selena Gomez crush which went on for a very long time.”
Damian then added: “It’s still going on now!”
Meanwhile, Damian has been making a name for himself recently as he is set to making his television acting debut on American television show ‘The Royals’ – in which his mother stars as Queen Helena – where he will portray Prince Hansel of Lichtenstein, and says Elizabeth has been giving him tips.
Asked if his mother gave him any advice toward his role, Damian said: “She did, she said learn your lines and don’t be annoying.”
And Elizabeth has no concerns about her son’s acting abilities, as she dubbed his performance as “knock out”.
She told US news show ‘Today’: “For the first two seasons of ‘The Royals’ he came on the show every day because it was in the summer vacation, so he was very comfortable, everybody loved him, they promised him a part ‘One day’.
“And suddenly this day came, and we looked at each other and he went, ‘Mum, what if I can’t do it?’
“And then the script came and he had a big German accent, quite difficult scenes, so I was like ‘I really hope he’s good’. And you know what? He was knock out when he was shooting.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez has been crowned the most followed celebrity on Instagram of 2016.
The 24-year-old singer has climbed to the top of the leaderboard on photo sharing website with a whopping 103 million followers, and has left a clear 9.1 million lead between herself and second place – which goes to fellow musician Taylor Swift and her 93.9 million followers.
The top five is rounded out by Ariana Grande with 90.2 million, Beyoncé who has attracted 89.2 million people to her page, and Kim Kardashian West who – despite having not posted anything on the site since she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris in October – has a following of 88.2 million users.
And it isn’t just the follower count that the ‘Hands to Myself’ hitmaker has dominated, as she has also managed to find herself on an impressive eight of the top ten most liked photos of 2016.
Taking the number one spot for the most liked photo was a picture posted in July which featured the brunette beauty drinking from a bottle of Coca-Cola with the lyrics to her song ‘Me & The Rhythm’ written on it as part of an advertising campaign.
The photo was captioned: “When your lyrics are on the bottle #ad (sic)”
The only two photos that make the top ten that weren’t posted by Selena were spots six and nine, which both went to hunky footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, retaining the top spot for 2017 might be difficult for the ‘Same Old Love’ singer, as she recently “took 90 days off” from using her phone completely, and enjoyed the time away from technology so much that she is still restricting its use.
She said: “I recently took 90 days off. During that time I did not have my cellphone. It was the most refreshing, calming, rejuvenating feeling. Now I rarely pick up my phone, and only limited people have access to me.”
Meanwhile Selena – who admitted herself to rehab earlier this year in order to treat the mental illness that was brought on as a result of her battle with autoimmune disease lupus – also topped the list of most followers gained this year.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bob Dylan thinks he has “done something pretty good” by being awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.
The 75-year-old icon was announced as the winner of the coveted accolade in October and even though he will not travel to Stockholm, Sweden for the ceremony on December 10, Dylan feels honoured to have been given the award, according to Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood.
Recalling a recent encounter with Dylan at the Desert Trip mega-festival – at which the two acts played on the same bill – Wood shared: “He kept calling me Sir Ronnie, and when (bandmate Charlie Watts) walked in he said, ‘And Sir Charlie, too! Everyone from England is a sir, right?’
“And we said, ‘Yeah Bob, but it’s not like … it’s really good about your Nobel prize.’ And he went, ‘You think so? It’s good, huh?’ And we said, ‘You deserve it.’ And he said, ‘That’s great – thanks.’ He didn’t really know how to accept it but he thought he had done something pretty good.”
Fellow Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards also admitted to being blown away by Dylan’s on-stage performance at Desert Trip.
He told The Guardian newspaper: “I did notice that Bob was standing up at the piano like Little Richard and he’s got this little flash Nudie s**t going down – s**t, dog, go for it.
“Mick (Jagger) and I were watching Bob’s first set and it sounded good, the band was great, and I said, ‘Mick, notice – very little concession to showbusiness,’ and Mick went, ‘Yeah, right.’ ”
Meanwhile, Watts admitted to being surprised by how much he enjoyed performing with the band – which also features Darryl Jones – at the Desert Trip and Glastonbury festivals.
Charlie said: “Glastonbury was the first one that I said, ‘We don’t want to do that, it’s a load of crap,’ and actually it was very nice.
“I’d never go to see a band in a bloody field playing – I wouldn’t go to a stadium to see a band either – but Glastonbury and the desert thing were fun.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Hilary Duff has felt “pigeonholed” as a mother.
The 29-year-old actress – who has four-year-old son Luca with her ex-husband Mike Comrie – has revealed she came under “so much scrutiny” when she gave birth to her first child at 24 years old and was made to feel “useless” for falling pregnant at an early age.
Speaking on the chat show ‘The Talk’ on Thursday (01.12.16), the golden haired beauty – who has reportedly ended her relationship with her personal trainer beau Jason Walsh – said: “I feel like I was judged for having a baby too soon, and getting married too soon and now, I’m pigeonholed for being a ‘mom’.
“Lots of women in the industry that don’t have a child yet are judged.
“We are the most in demand and the most desirable, but the most judged and the hardest on one another. It’s so much scrutiny.”
And the star has revealed life is “scarier than ever” because she cannot avoid having her personal life thrust in the limelight.
She explained: “It just seems scarier than ever because of how much attention celebrities get because of their personal life now and how much focus is on that and how much one person can say one thing and how much impact it can have. It’s crazy.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Younger’ star has admitted she has never been one to plan ahead because she has a family, although Hilary has admitted she still has “dreams and aspirations” for her future.
Speaking previously, she explained: “I have dreams and aspirations, but I’ve never really been one of those people who has set dates: ‘I’m this age, so this, this and this needs to happen.’ That’s just not really realistic. I have a kid.
“My life is very fully, so I feel blessed and lucky. OHMYGOSSIP — Sheridan Smith’s father has died.
The ‘Funny Girl’ star has pulled out of this year’s ‘Royal Variety Performance’, held at the Hammersmith Apollo in London on December 6, to grieve for her beloved dad Colin – who had been battling cancer – who has tragically passed away at the age of 80.
A statement from her representative said: “Sheridan’s much loved father sadly passed away this week. We can confirm that she will not be performing at the ‘Royal Variety Performance’ this Tuesday, December 6th. At this difficult time for Sheridan and her family we would ask that you please respect their privacy.”
The 35-year-old actress revealed her father had cancer earlier this year when she unexpectedly pulled out of her West End musical ‘Funny Girl’ for a few months.
After being insulted by a fan on Twitter for her absence, Sheridan said: “If you just found out your dad had cancer you wouldn’t be such a heartless human. Take care love (sic)”
Her comment came just hours after she revealed that she has been delivered some shattering news and was truly sorry to her fans for cancelling her appearance.
She said at the time: “Had s*** news today, sorry I can’t make the show for you loyal fans. If you ask they give u tickets to the Savoy (sic)!”
She then went on to hint that she would quit the show for good unless she was given a pay rise so that she could give her father the best possible cancer care.
She hinted: “Decision made! Bye. Unless I get enough money to look after my dad.”
Colin’s tragic death comes 27 years after Sheridan’s beloved brother Julian died of cancer when he was just 18 years old – the actress was just eight at the time.
Speaking about her loss last year, the blonde star said: “Of course I’ve been affected by my brother’s death… It makes me value life, cherish my loved ones and be grateful for every day I have with them. Cancer affects one in three of us and every single one of us either knows someone who has been affected by it or has experienced it first-hand. And yet it’s treated as a taboo subject.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman has “thought” about adopting more children.
The 49-year-old actress – who adopted Isabella, 23, and Connor, 20, with her former partner Tom Cruise, and has biological daughters Faith, five, and Sunday Rose, eight, with her husband Keith Urban – has admitted the couple have contemplated having more children and would “never say ‘never'” to expanding their brood.
Speaking to the Mail Online about her plans to expand her family in the future, the golden-haired beauty – who plays the role of the adopted mother, Sue Brierley, in ‘Lion’ – said: “It’s something I have thought about.
“But you never say ‘never’ about children, do you?”
However, the pair – who tied the knot in 2006 – have revealed they have their “hands full” with their children at the moment.
She said: “[We] have got our hands full at the moment.”

The 31-year-old model Lily Aldridge – who gained her angel wings in 2010 – has revealed the 30-year-old singer songwriter, who joined the catwalk icons on stage to perform, waited for the show to end and to be with all of the stars before giving everyone a single rose to congratulate them on their runway appearances.
Speaking to E! News about the special gift, the brunette beauty – who has four-year-old daughter Dixie with her husband and Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill – said: “She waited for each of us to come back after the show and gave us each a personal rose.
“I love you Gaga.”
And the fashion muse has revealed the “best part” of the annual show is everything, which goes on off stage with her fellow models, including the “camaraderie” and the dancing.

The 39-year-old actress has admitted she thinks a “change” in her career is just around the corner, and it may see her take some time out of being in front of the camera to teach drama to budding actors or to direct her own production.
Speaking about her plans for the future to Net-A-Porter’s The Edit, the flame-haired beauty said: “Maybe at some point I won’t be acting. Maybe I’ll be producing or directing or teaching at Juilliard.
“I feel like something’s happening. I feel like a change will soon happen in my life. Maybe I won’t act for a few years. I’m happy, I’m content, but I could do something else for a bit.”
And the ‘The Martian’ star has revealed she would quite happily “disappear” into the lives of the characters she plays so she can keep her personal life private.
She explained: “I want people to be more interested in my work than my personal life.
“I want to disappear into the characters I’m playing and not have the audience say, ‘Oh, she’s going through a divorce right now.'”
However, the star has revealed she can turn down a role when she feels the script can allow her to “inspire young girls”.
She said: “If I can help create empathy and balance in society, I’m going to do whatever I can to tell stories that subconsciously create that.
“When I get a script that has the opportunity to create discussion and inspire young girls, I don’t want to say no to that. If something comes to me before it has financing and I can help get it made, I feel a responsibility in that. I just want to contribute.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West threw a “low key” party for Kanye West’s homecoming and Saint’s birthday.
The 36-year-old ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star was reunited with her husband on Wednesday (30.11.16) after he was discharged from hospital, and to mark the occasion and their child’s first birthday, the raven-haired beauty – who also has three-year-old daughter North with her partner – threw a “little celebration” for them both.
Speaking about the event to US Weekly, a source said: “[Kim held] a little celebration with a little cake but it was very low-key.”
Kim’s sisters Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian and half-sister Kylie Jenner took to social media to share images of the party, which saw dozens of star-shaped balloons in blue and metallic shades fill the room for the party, which was held a few days before Saint’s birthday on December 5.
Although it was supposedly a small get together, the Kardashian/Jenner family are “just happy” the ‘Famous’ rapper is home safe and the brood can slowly start to get their life “back to normal”.
The source explained: “Everyone is just happy he’s back home and things can go back to normal.”
Meanwhile, Kanye – who was rushed to hospital last month to receive treatment for exhaustion and sleep deprivation – has realised he needs to find a balance between his work life and rest.
Speaking previously about the 39-year-old musician’s welfare, a source said: “People in Kanye’s inner circle are hoping the hospital stay has made him realise that he needs to take a step back from work and focus on his personal health and mindset.
“Kanye loves working, but he loves Kim and his family more. He had way too much on his plate and it came to a point where he couldn’t handle it all, so he just broke. He needs to find a good balance with the two in his life and he’ll work hard at finding that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Luke Bryan hit a concertgoer because he was being “insulting”.
The 40-year-old singer was performing his single ‘Move’ at Charlie Daniels’ all-star Volunteer Jam concert in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday (30.11.16) when he grew fed up with hecklers.
In video footage of the incident, Luke could be heard beckoning a man, saying ‘Come on’, before reaching out to slap him in the face and neck, before security guards moved into the audience.
And now a representative for the ‘Strip It Down’ singer has issued a statement explaining Luke felt compelled to act to put a stop to the audience member’s “disruptive” behaviour.
They told Billboard magazine: “A man in [the] front row was making crude hand gestures toward Luke during his performance.
“It was insulting not only to him, but more importantly to the men, women and families sitting around him who were there to support and celebrate Charlie Daniels and the efforts of raising money for the military veterans — some of who were in the audience. The concert security personnel saw the man’s disruptive actions of the event and he was escorted out.”
The charity concert was first established in 1974, with a portion of proceeds going to US veterans via Charlie’s Journey Home Project.
As well as Luke, this year’s event – which celebrated the organiser’s 80th birthday – also saw performances from Travis Tritt, Kid Rock, Chris Stapleton and 3 Doors Down, while Charlie himself closed the concert with his own set and a group jam.

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Holmes gives herself a curfew.
The 37-year-old actress wants to be a “dependable” mother to her 10-year-old daughter Suri – who she has with ex-husband Tom Cruise – so ensures she is home at a sensible hour when she isn’t working.
She said: “When I’m not on set, I’m being a mom. I’m doing mom stuff.
“When I go to an event, I leave at 10pm because it’s really important to me to be a mom that is dependable.”
Despite her high profile, the former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ actress insists she never has to avoid things she likes to do because of the attention she attracts.
Asked if there’s anything she wishes she could do if not under scrutiny, she told Modern Luxury magazine: “That’s an interesting question because I kind of do everything I feel like doing.
“I don’t monitor my behaviour for press purposes.”
The ‘Touched With Fire’ star thinks it is “important” Suri has an ordinary childhood just like she did and insists the youngster will always come before her work.
She said: “It’s important to me.
“We do a lot of cousin time with my nieces and nephews. I think the most important thing in my life is giving my child the childhood I want her to have. That comes first. That dictates where I work and when I work because it’s my main job right now.”
Katie has just finished working on ‘All We Had’, which she directed and stars in as Rita, who is struggling to raise her 13-year-old daughter Ruthie.
And the brunette beauty felt that when making the move into directing, she should choose a subject matter she felt “comfortable” with and could relate to, so thinks she chose the right project.
She said: “I thought, if I’m going to do something I’ve never done before, I should pick something I feel comfortable with.
“I’m from a family of five children, and I have three sisters. That female relationship is familiar to me.
“A mother’s love is greater than anything; it’s definitely a universal theme.
“I think seeing Ruthie fight her mother is natural to [any] mother/daughter relationship. But Rita is very much a child herself, which makes them more original in their relationship.
“I felt like we haven’t seen that kind of story too much between mother and daughter. I thought that was worth telling.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Seyfried can “smell” electricity.
The ‘In Time’ actress – who announced earlier this week she is expecting a baby with her fiancé Thomas Sadoski – has found her senses have been heightened since falling pregnant, and she can’t bear to be around anyone with body odour.
She said: “The only thing that I can’t tolerate is body odour. Normally body odour is, ‘Uh, it’s alright.’ But I cannot tolerate it anymore. If someone has it, I have to leave. I have a hard time with that.
“I can smell electricity. I swear to God I can smell the TV.”
However, the 30-year-old beauty insists she isn’t bothered by the change.
She added: “I was looking forward to it. Nothing makes me sick.”
The ‘Les Miserables’ actress also admitted she is surprised by how much she has been craving candy, as she always used to be able to keep her sweet tooth in check.
She admitted to reporters: “I have a separate stomach for sweets.
“It’s pregnancy, too, I blame it on that. I didn’t think it was going to come back this harsh, but it did.”
Amanda’s pregnancy announcement came just two months after she and Thomas got engaged after six months of dating.
At the time, a source said: “Tommy and Amanda recently got engaged and shared the happy news with family and close friends.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Seacrest struggled planning a bachelorette party for his sister.
The 41-year-old radio personality has admitted he was the “lead bridesmaid” for his sibling Meredith’s party, which saw him organise a trip for “17 women to Napa”, and the star has revealed the “one challenge” he faced was ensuring the full group got ready in time because of the limited bathroom space.
Speaking about his wedding duties and party planning Harry Connick Junior on the ‘Harry’ daytime television show on Friday (02.12.16), the dark-haired hunk said: “I was the lead bridesmaid. I called my sister and said, ‘What does it mean Man of Honour?’ and she said, ‘Well you’ve got to do everything a Maid of Honour would do.’ I said, ‘A bachelorette party?’ She said, ‘Yeah.’ I said, ‘Okay.’
“Oh yeah, I had to take 17 women to Napa.
“The challenge — you’ll appreciate this because you have only girls in your house — the challenge was keeping them on schedule because there were limited bathrooms for 17 women. They did a pretty good job but that was the biggest hurdle was telling them what time they had to be ready and what time reality was.”
And the ‘American Idol’ host has admitted he felt very “emotional” when his younger sister asked him to be her equivalent of a Maid of Honour in October last year.
Speaking about the poem she gave asking him to accept his role, he said: “[She said] ‘You’ve been by my side all of my life, and I wouldn’t want you anywhere else, when I become a wife. I’m so lucky to have you as my brother, and couldn’t imagine celebrating with any other. So basically what I’m trying to say… Will you be my Man of Honour on my special day?!’
“It was really really cool, so emotional but so proud of my little sister.”

The 24-year-old heartthrob has finally decided to follow in the footsteps of his band mates – Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Liam Payne – and previous member Zayn Malik as Simon Cowell’s Syco label have reportedly heard some of his songs and are keen to work with him.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Louis is a brilliant songwriter and had not initially planned his own solo career.
“But he’s been back in the studio and has been working on some really amazing music.
“He’s played some to the powers that be at syco, who are really excited.
“They think he could be a real success as a solo artist, given his proven ability to write hit records and massive fanbase as part of 1D.”
The ‘History’ hitmaker would be the only member of the group to stay with the 57-year-old music mogul’s label should a deal come about as some of the others chose to ditch him for major deals including Liam Payne’s signing with Capitol Records.
Despite each member heading off in their own direction, Niall recently assured fans that they will be reuniting.
He said: “At the moment we are all doing our own thing. Everyone is just enjoying just how chilled it is.
“Harry wanted do is his movie and everyone is just chilling. I don’t think anyone needs to worry about us we are fine.
“We will be back. We would be silly not to … ridiculous.”
It isn’t the first time the ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ singer has hinted at the return of One Direction either, as he previously stated there would be “plenty more” material from the boy band.
He said: “There’s going to be plenty more One Direction shows, that’s a guarantee so it’s not a case of one more show. There’s definitely more than one more 1D show coming up, that’s a fact.”
