OHMYGOSSIP — Kirk Douglas has admitted to feeling “lonely” as he celebrates his 100th birthday.
The iconic Hollywood actor reached the milestone age as he rang in his birthday on Friday (09.12.16), but said he finds it difficult to understand the movie industry these days as he “doesn’t know” the stars of today.
Speaking to Variety magazine, the ‘Spartacus’ star said: “I am now 100 years old. I read about Hollywood, and I don’t know the people. Where is Burt [Lancaster]? Where is Laurence Olivier? They’re all gone. I miss them. I feel lonely.”
Life for the ‘Champion’ actor – who is often hailed as one of the last remaining survivors of the golden age of film – hasn’t been easy though, as he was previously involved in a helicopter crash in 1991, which killed two people and left him with a compressed spine.
The star also suffered from a stroke in 1996, which resulted in debilitated speech.
Variety reports that Kirk interrupted the interview to apologise for his slow manner of speaking, when he said: “I hope you understand me, because I used to talk better than this.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Paths of Glory’ actor said in an interview in 2011 that he doesn’t “think about death” and instead was focusing his energy on “writing”.
He said at the time: “I don’t think about death, I think about life. Since my stroke interfered with my speech I find myself writing more.”
And the ‘Lonely Are the Brave’ star still isn’t planning on giving up any time soon, as he says he’ll do another milestone interview “when I’m 200”.
He said: “I didn’t realise when I reached 100 years old I would be doing interviews. I thought by now I would relax, and I’m doing more interviews than I used to.
“But I think now it’s time for me to relax. We’re doing this again when I’m 200.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Wesley Snipes is co-writing a supernatural thriller novel called ‘Talon of God’.
The 54-year-old actor is penning the new novel in conjunction with Ray Norman, with their story set to centre on the fortunes of Lauren, a female doctor who finds herself stuck in a battle between heaven and hell, and Talon Hunter, a spirit warrior.
Wesley told Deadline: “There are spiritual warriors that inhabit this planet who are here to help balance out the evil forces, and they are always looking for the next apprentice.
“And when they find the next apprentice to train – the next heir apparent – then they can move on to the higher realms.”
Wesley – whose most-famous movies have included ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ and the ‘Blade’ trilogy – also confirmed he intends to create a big-screen adaptation of the novel.
David Pomerico, the executive editor of the publishing company Harper Voyager, has revealed he’s thrilled with the plot of ‘Talon of God’, which is scheduled for release in July 2017.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: “It’s one thing to get a project in and be like, ‘Do you mean the Wesley Snipes?’ and be told ‘Yes – he’s written a novel.’
“But then to learn that the story he and Ray put together is just so much fun, well, there was no way I couldn’t do this project!”
Meanwhile, Wesley previously admitted he would like to see his iconic Blade character feature in the ‘Avengers’ franchise.
The Hollywood star – who played Blade between 1998 and 2004 – insisted he’s still physically fit enough to portray the human-vampire hybrid and he would be interested in joining the ‘Avengers’ team.
Wesley said: “That would be interesting. I mean, I know it’s in the comic book. It would be interesting to see where they would place him and where he really would fit in. He’s got to bite somebody. I don’t know who he’s going to bite.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Andre and his wife Emily have named their baby son Theodore James Andre.
The couple – who also have two-year-old daughter Amelia together – welcomed the tot into the world on November 21, and only revealed they had arrived at the moniker on Thursday night (08.12.16).
Taking to Twitter to share the news, the ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker wrote: “Theo it is then Or Theodore James Andre (a) To be precise (sic)”
The 42-year-old singer recently revealed he and the 27-year-old physician were struggling to find the perfect name that suits the little boy.
Speaking a week after Theodore’s birth, he said: “We’re nowhere near choosing a name yet though.
“We have so many we like, but every time we go to say it, it just doesn’t stick.
“I love names like Oscar and Arthur, but Emily is not so keen.”
The television personality thinks his son already looks like him.
He said: “He’s such a joy and is doing really well – as is his mum.
“He was three weeks early but he weighted 6lb 10oz, a bit more than Amelia did.
“It’s hard to tell who he looks like, but he does look different to how Amelia did when she was born. I think he looks more like me.”
And he is thankful Amelia and his other children, Junior, 11, and nine-year-old Princess – who he has with ex-wife Katie Price – are already besotted with their little brother.
He said: “J and P were the first people I told about the baby.
“I called them at school and the headmaster was kind enough to ring me back during their lunch break.
“They got to meet their new brother at the weekend and they love him already.
“Mills has been awesome too, and is loving being a big sister. She calls him Brother Baby – it’s so cute.
“I was putting her to bed the other night and with the new baby here, she looks like a giant now.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik have released a surprise duet.
The ‘Bad Blood’ hitmaker has teamed up with the former One Direction hunk on ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’, which is taken from the ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ soundtrack and is the 26-year-old singer’s first new music this year.
Taylor shared the artwork and a clip of the track on her social media accounts before it unexpectedly appeared in the US iTunes Store late on Thursday (08.12.16) night.
The description of the track on iTunes says it features “two of pop’s brightest stars [teaming up] for a passionate duet”.
‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’ is already top of the iTunes chart.
Taylor took a screengrab of the figures and wrote on instagram: “Well that escalated quickly.”
The mid-tempo song sees Taylor and Zayn taking turns to deliver lines including, “Baby, baby, I feel crazy/Up all night, all night and every day/Give me something, oh, but you say nothing/What is happening tonight?” and “I don’t wanna live forever/’Cause I know I’ll be living in pain/I don’t want to fit wherever, I just want to keep calling your name/’Til you come back home.”
The ‘Shake It Off’ singer – who previously dated Zayn’s former bandmate Harry Styles and is close friends with her collaborator’s girlfriend Gigi Hadid – teamed up with Sam Dew and Jack Antonoff to write the song, and the track came together in just a week.
Jack revealed on Twitter: “i don’t wanna live forever came together very quickly. wrote it with taylor and sam dew and produced it at home mostly on paper sounds
“recorded taylor at my house. zayn sent parts from LA – we did it in a week basically. i’ve never had something come out that quick.(sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Shannen Doherty has praised her radiation team for making her feel less “out of control”.
The 45-year-old actress – who was first diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2015 and has almost finished chemotherapy but has recently started having radiotherapy – has revealed the medical team are helping her feel more at ease with the treatment because they make a “concerted effort” to talk her through the entire process.
Alongside a picture of the former ‘Charmed’ star with two specialists, which she has shared on her Instagram account, she wrote: “Another day of radiation. Meet Anna and Vince, 2 members of my radiation team. They make a concerted effort to talk to me and show me what’s going on in this process so I don’t feel so out of control in it.(sic).”
Although Shannen has hinted she doesn’t enjoy the process, she has urged other cancer patients to “never” be “too timid” when you are concerned because doctors can make the battle “more pleasant”.
She continued: “Never be too timid to speak up and ask for what you need to get thru the process. None of this is easy but a great team can make it more pleasant. #cancerslayer #fightlikeagirl #warrior #communicationiskey (sic).”
The television personality – who married her third husband Kurt Iswarienko in 2011 – has revealed sometimes she is “too grumpy” to talk to anyone.
Shannen posted a photo of Grumpy from ‘Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs’ to her social media, which reads: “I am so grumpy I am not even talking to myself!”
And she captioned the post: “Yep. This says it all. #cancercanreallysucksometimes (sic).”
Although Shannen has revealed she is feeling slightly more at ease with radiotherapy, she has revealed her first radiotherapy session last month was “frightening” and made her want to run away.
Speaking previously, she said: “First day of radiation treatment. I look like I’m about to make a run for it which is accurate. Radiation is frightening to me. Something about not being able to see the laser, see the treatment and having this machine moving around you just scares me. I’m sure I’ll get used to it but right now…. OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West has been spotted for the first time since his hospitalisation.
The 39-year-old rapper was admitted to UCLA Medical Centre last month after suffering from sleep deprivation and exhaustion, and was discharged last week to continue medical treatment in the privacy of his own home.
On Thursday (09.12.16) the ‘Bound 2’ hitmaker was photographed for the first time since his ordeal – which saw him cancel 21 dates of his ‘Saint Pablo Tour’ – as he visited an art exhibit in Los Angeles.
In a photo posted on Instagram by artist Giovanni Bassan, the ‘Famous’ rapper can be seen sporting newly dyed blonde hair, and looked relaxed as he sat backstage at MOCA’s Pacific Design Centre.
The photo – which was posted to Giovanni’s private account and made public by multiple sources – was reportedly captioned: “K s in da house (sic)”
The news of the ‘Gold Digger’ singer’s venture out of the house comes after it was previously reported the Kanye – who shares three-year-old daughter North and 12-month-old son Saint with wife Kim Kardashian West – was feeling more relaxed now that he’s returned to his Bel-Air mansion.
Kanye has even built a temporary studio in his mansion and is now making new music, according to the gossip website TMZ.
But the decision to launch himself back into his work might not come as a surprise to his famous family, as he reportedly wanted to work on his music and clothing line whilst he was still recovering in hospital.
A source said: “Kanye keeps wanting to work. At the hospital, he requested that recording equipment be brought to the hospital so he can record in his bed. And he has kept asking to see sketches of his fashion lines.

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloé Kardashian “fears” for Rob Kardashian’s health after the Kardashian sisters block Blac Chyna’s trademark request.
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ stars – Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé Kardashian – recently submitted documents preventing the 28-year-old model from placing a trademark on her full name Angela Renée Kardashian, but now Khloé is reportedly concerned over the affect the feud may have on her brother Rob, who is engaged to Chyna.
An insider reportedly told HollywoodLife.com: “Khloé loves Rob and fears what a family feud like this could do to his health and so she tried and failed to prevent her sisters from filing legal papers against Blac.
“Khloé is not happy about the situation and wants her family to just get along.”
And the source also claimed that it was older sisters Kim, 36, and Kourtney, 37, who reportedly “convinced” their younger sister Khloé, 32, into filing the documents.
They added to the publication: “Khloe was the lone dissenter in the filing of legal documents to prevent Blac from using the Kardashian name.
“Kim and Kourtney ultimately convinced Khloe to stand by their side in keeping Blac from marketing their name but Khloe was the one sister who was resistant.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gigi Hadid has been battling with Hashimoto’s disease for two years.
The 21-year-old supermodel has revealed her metabolism has changed “like crazy” over the past year because of the condition, which is a thyroid disease and means the body fights against its own tissue, and has been taking medication to slow the disease down since she was diagnosed.
Speaking to Elle.com about the condition, the blonde beauty said: “My metabolism actually changed like crazy this year. I have Hashimoto’s disease. It’s a thyroid disease.
“It’s now been two years since taking the medication for it.”
And the catwalk icon has revealed due to the illness, she was determined not to drop anymore weight prior to gracing the runway for the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which took place in Paris, France, on Monday (05.12.16).
She explained: “So for the [Victoria’s Secret] show I didn’t want to lose any more weight.”
And the star has hinted she is frustrated by the disease because all she wants is to have “muscles in the right place” instead of having her body attic her toned limbs.

The ‘America’s Got Talent’ host is already a father to five-year-old Moroccan and Monroe – who he has with ex-wife Mariah Carey, and now a source has confirmed to Us Weekly magazine that his former girlfriend is seven months along with his second son.
Nick recently admitted he thinks becoming a father again is “outstanding” news, even though it is in “unexpected” circumstances as he and Brittany are not together.
He gushed: “It’s outstanding. Honestly they say even in unexpected situations, you still embrace the beauty of bringing a life into this world, because that is what life is all about.”

The 18-year-old beauty has been one of the iconic models for two years, but insists she is far from the image people expect of the lingerie firm’s catwalk representatives because she is a “loser tomboy” and not really a “girl’s girl”.

The 73-year-old Rolling Stones rocker and ballerina Melanie Hamrick, 29, welcomed a son into the world on Thursday (08.12.16), and Randall Bambrough – whose fashion designer sister dated the singer for over 10 years until her suicide in March 2014 – is “happy” for the ‘Satisfaction’ hitmaker.
Randall told the New York Daily News newspaper: “I am happy for Mick. I have observed Mick to be a loving father, and family is very important to him.”
And Randall thinks L’Wren would have been happy that Mick – who also has Karis, 46, Jade, 45, Elizabeth, 32, James, 21, Georgia, 24, Gabriel, 18, and Lucas, 17, from past relationships – has moved on and found happiness.
He added: “She would want him to have continued overall happiness in his life going forward, especially regarding his family.
“He cares very deeply about all of his children. This child will be well taken care of just like all the rest of his children.”
The ‘Brown Sugar’ singer was with Melanie in New York when she delivered their son, and everyone is said to be “doing well”.
Mick’s spokesperson said: “Melanie Hamrick and Mick Jagger’s son was born today in New York and they are both delighted. Mick was at the hospital for the arrival.
“Mother and baby are doing well and we request that the media respect their privacy at this time.”
Details about the name and weight of the newborn are yet to be revealed.
It was previously claimed Mick – who began “casually dating” Melanie after L’Wren’s death – was “shocked beyond belief” when he learned he was to be a father again.
A source said: “He was shocked beyond belief at news she was expecting but will do whatever it takes to support Melanie and the child.
“They aren’t living together and don’t plan to. But Mick will look after the baby 10 times over. There is talk of buying a house for Melanie.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Scooter Braun is helping Cruz Beckham “have some fun”.
The 35-year-old music manager – who also counts Justin Bieber and Kanye West among his clients – has signed the 11-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham and hopes his debut single, ‘If Every Day Was Christmas’, will inspire other youngsters to “give back” as the proceeds from the track will go to Global’s Make Some Noise charity to help underprivileged young people.
Scooter told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I’ve known him and his parents for a while.
“I saw him sing, and David and I had a conversation and then decided, [let’s] let him have some fun. And then he made a Christmas single, and he actually came to us and said, ‘Hey, I want to do this for charity and help other kids.’
“And when they told me the idea, I said I’d be more than happy to help.
“I think everything, with the song that he put out, all the money goes to charity, to help underprivileged kids in the UK, and I hope, as an 11 year old, he inspires more kids to give back.”
Scooter himself works with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and is very proud of what the charity does to help families in need.
He said: “I just like the work that they do … the opportunity to give a kid something special when they’re fighting something so hard. And sometimes it’s something they need, and especially what their family needs.
“Some of the most amazing things I’ve seen have been not only the kids, but their siblings.
“You know, their siblings give up so much for the happiness of their brother or sister, and that’s just an incredible thing to watch.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Brad Pitt’s eldest sons are reportedly “refusing” to see him.
The 52-year-old actor has been granted supervised visits to his six kids since splitting from wife Angelina Jolie in September, but 15-year-old Maddox – who the ‘Moneyball’ star was accused of striking during a row on board a private jet – and 13-year-old Pax are said to have walked out of one of their sessions, and would not to attend others.
According to TMZ, court documents submitted by Brad’s attorney suggested the two boys may not want to visit the actor.
The website also claims the 41-year-old actress – who also has Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne with Brad – had her legal representative email her estranged husband’s lawyers on December 1 to urge him to find a new professional to help them all deal with the “trauma” of the row on board the private plane.
The message proposed the former couple “participate in joint sessions with a trauma specialist so that they may learn how to best support and interact with their children.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Celine Dion will honour her late husband by going skiing this Christmas.
The ‘Think Twice’ hitmaker and her late spouse René Angélil – who died of cancer in January – used to visit the slopes of Montana every festive season until he felt too ill last year, and so later this month, she and sons René-Charles, 15, and six-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy will be making the trip once more.
And Celine admits she feels closer to her husband when she goes skiing.
She said: “He put some something magic into that snow, into those mountains, and every time we go down, I go down with him.
“My children go down thinking about him. Every time I take the lift to go up, I feel closer to him.”
The family will be joined by a few friends on Christmas Day (25.12.16) and will spend the day on the slopes, sitting by the fire and drinking hot chocolate.
She said: “For me the trip is not to party. It’s to try and mediate, find balance and be at peace with myself and my children and to eat, to play games, whether it’s Monopoly or the telephone game.”
But the 48-year-old singer admits the approaching holiday is “bittersweet” and her one wish for Christmas is that time slows down because she is “not ready” for the anniversary of René’s passing.

OHMYGOSSIP — Will Smith’s new movie helped him come to terms with his father’s terminal illness.
The 48-year-old actor learned William Carroll Smith had been given just six weeks to live at the same time he received the script for ‘Collateral Beauty’, and he insists it was a “personal and beautiful journey” to play a character dealing with a personal tragedy while going through similar struggles in his real life.
He said: “I got the screenplay right when my father was diagnosed, so I’m doing all of this research about a guy who experiences death at the time that my father was given six weeks [to live].
“But it turned out to be such an amazing thing to have to work through and go through all of this.
“My father and I were sharing it during that time, so the performance for me, and the movie for me, and the ideas are so deeply personal.
“This film for me is the most personal and beautiful journey. When art and life comes together in that way and when you create something that could potentially help people get through difficult times, it’s fantastic.”
Will’s father passed away a month ago – living longer than his original prognosis – and the actor hopes it can offer comfort to others in a similar situation.
He told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: “I hope you all see it, and I hope you love it. And anybody who needs it — I hope it really is able to do for you what it was able to do for my father and I.”

Asked by Ellen how to deal with the wild animal, he explained “You immediately put the kids on punishment, you call the ranger, and the ranger comes out and says you have a lion.
“You have to buy lion urine, and he just happened to have some. Lion urine is $38.99 a gallon. They sprinkle the lion urine in a circle around your house, and apparently that keeps the lions away.”
But Will admitted he had other ideas in mind for what he wanted to happen with the big cat.
He quipped: “I thought he should have at least been able to relocate it to Denzel [Washington]’s house!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chet Hanks has become a father for the first time.
The 26-year-old musician – who is also known as Chet Haze – has credited his unnamed little girl for helping him turn his life around and get sober, after previously battling substance abuse issues.
Chet, who is the son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, didn’t reveal any details about his daughter, including her mother or when she was born, but admitted she is the “best thing” to ever happen to him.
In an emotional Instagram video, he said: “I know I’ve been not that active on the ‘Gram lately because I’ve been figuring out my life, which is what we’re all doing, and social media’s all bulls**t anyway. .
“With that being said, I want to share something today because it’s about to be shared anyway in the press, which is the fact that I have a daughter.
“I do have a daughter. She’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
“She’s the reason why I turned my life around and got sober. I’ve been sober for over a year and a half from everything.”
Chet has vowed to keep the youngster out of the public eye because he doesn’t want her to be “dragged into the negativity” of his past.
He captioned the video: “No disrespect to people that post their kids, I just I never wanted her to be dragged into the negativity surrounding my past.”
He also said in the clip: “I don’t share on her on Instagram. I don’t post her on Instagram because her privacy is sacred to me. She is sacred to me. She is not something to be posted. She’s something that I love, that’s changed my life, but the fact is she’s about to be shared with everybody so I wanted you to hear it from me…because I’m a real person.”
