OHMYGOSSIP — Alan Thicke has died at the age of 69.
The ‘Growing Pains’ actor was rushed to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday (13.12.16) after suffering a heart attack while playing hockey with his 19-year-old son Carter, but was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Alan’s famous son, 39-year-old singer Robin Thicke told the Los Angeles Times newspaper that one of the final things his father said was a compliment to Carter on a nice shot.
He hailed the ‘Fuller House’ star as the “greatest man I ever met” and “always a gentleman.”
He added: “The good thing was that he was beloved and he had closure.
“I saw him a few days ago and told him how much I loved and respected him.”
Carter – whose mother is Alan’s second wife Gina Tolleson – described his dad as his “best friend and idol”.
He wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of himself and his father: “Today I lost my best friend and my idol, and the world lost one of it’s finest.
“I have never known a more kind, loving, hairy, and generous person in my life and I am forever grateful for the light that this man brought to my life and so many others. You will be missed every second of every day. You are a legend and I love you Pops. Until next time.”
Alan’s ex-wife, Gloria Loring – who was married to the actor from 1970 and 1983 and had sons Brennan, 41, and Robin with him – said his passing came as a total “shock”.
She told Us Weekly: “Thank you for your kindness concerning Alan Thicke’s passing. It is a shock. We were all just together for Thanksgiving.
“He was talented, funny and deeply devoted to his family. Rest In Peace, dear one.”
A host of famous faces have flocked to pay tribute to Alan – who is survived by his third wife Tanya – including his co-stars on his most recent work, ‘Fuller House’.
Bob Saget posted: “So sad is the passing of Alan Thicke. Such a good husband, father, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed. Rest in peace dear Alan.”
And Candace Cameron Bure wrote on Instagram: “I’m sad beyond words that Alan Thicke has passed away. I’ve known you since I was 8 years old and so glad I had the pleasure of working with you again so recently on Fuller House. You were a part of my family and hockey family. You will be greatly missed. My heart hurts.(sic)”
Ellen DeGeneres also spoke of her sadness of the passing of the former talk show host.
She tweeted: “America loved Alan Thicke. I’m so sad he’s gone. Sending so much love to his family.”
John Legend had met the actor through Robin and was upset by the news.
He wrote: “RIP Alan Thicke. I grew up watching him and got to know him through Robin. He was always so kind to me. So sad to hear about his passing.”
Ryan Seacrest shared: “sad to learn of Alan Thicke’s passing. he was a great friend over the years. thoughts & prayers to his family.”
Singer Chaka Khan, 63, admitted his passing had her worried about her own mortality following a host of high-profile deaths in 2016.
She tweeted: “Condolences to the family of @Alan_Thicke. If ever there was a time celebs are thinking about our mortality, 2016 is it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Affleck will spend Christmas with Matt Damon.
The 44-year-old actor grew up with the ‘Bourne Identity’ star and the pair have remained good friends as they rose through the ranks of Hollywood together.
Now, Ben – who has kids Violet, 11, Seraphina, seven, and Samuel, four with estranged wife Jennifer Garner – has revealed he, Matt, and his brother Casey Affleck will enjoy a Christmas break together with their families in Montana.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I can tell you that we’re going to do skiing in Montana with our family and Matt Damon’s family and my brother’s family.
“It should be a lot of fun.”
Previously, Ben joked about how he keeps his friendship with the 45-year-old star – who raises Alexia, 18, Isabella, 10, Gia, seven, and Stella, five, with wife Luciana – “fresh”.
He said: “You know Matt [Damon] and I, we just we have good sex. That’s what keeps it fresh.”
It is not clear whether Ben will be accompanied on the trip by Jennifer as they have remained close since splitting last year, and have been rumoured to be planning a reconciliation.
Asked earlier this week what the defining moment of his life was, the ‘Argo’ actor said: “The birth of my children.
“[Jennifer] is the world’s greatest mum.”
And they were recently spotted leaving a counselling centre after having been inside for two hours.
A photographer who was present at the time said: “Even though they didn’t look super happy when they emerged from counselling, they got in the car together and went home together.
“They always look happiest when they’re with their kids so I’m sure they were headed back to spend time with them. Ben and Jen really seem like they want to make it work for their family.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West is reportedly “furious” at Kanye West for meeting with Donald Trump.
The 39-year-old rapper jetted off to New York City on Tuesday (13.12.16) to meet with the 70-year-old President elect, but his 36-year-old wife – with whom he has kids North, three, and Saint, 12 months – wasn’t impressed by his decision as she believes he should have been getting bed rest after recently being discharged from hospital following his battle with exhaustion and sleep deprivation.
A source told HollywoodLife.com: “Things are not good with Kim and Kanye right now. She’s furious at him for going to NYC.
“He should be home taking care of himself and spending time with his family after being in the hospital.
“Kim had no interest in going to NYC to meet Donald Trump. She wanted Kanye to stay home and wasn’t going to support him on this trip.
“Their kids have already been through too much change recently for them to go on another cross country flight and she wasn’t about to leave them.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Bound 2’ hitmaker took to Twitter to post his first tweets since October, where he detailed the topics he had discussed with Donald.
He tweeted: “I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues.
“These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago.
“I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change (sic).”
Kanye also went on to hint that he is considering running for president in 2024, by tweeting “#2024”.
The hint at a 2024 presidential campaign comes as a step backwards from his last stance on the role, as he previously claimed he would run in 2020.
He said: “I’m concerned about putting our concept of how to do the [president’s] job in a new way and if no one will do it in that way, I will take position in 2020 and do it myself.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner is renting out one of her lavish homes to Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna.
The reality TV star’s older brother, his fiancée and their newborn daughter Dream moved into Kylie’s Hidden Hills mansion this week in order to be closer to Rob’s family.
They had initially planned to live in Chyna’s home in Tarzana, but ultimately decided on Kylie’s sprawling seven-bedroom pad, TMZ reports.
Kylie owns two other homes in the area, including a $12 million mansion she splashed out on in October.
The home has eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a game room, pool, spa and massage room and sits on 1.4 acres of land.
And earlier this year she bought a sprawling $4.5 million four-acre property next door to the $6 million luxury home she already owned, meaning she now has an $8 million joint compound.
Her estate agent Tomer Fridman said recently: “To have this is a rarity. She turned this into a trophy estate because it’s two separate houses, but she owns both of them and they are next to each other in a private drive.”
While Rob and Chyna are living in one of the homes in the compound, it is not clear who resides in the other.
Kylie also owns a property in a Calabasas gated community, close to where many of her siblings reside, but put the house up for sale for $3.9 million in June.

OHMYGOSSIP — Louis Tomlinson’s mother Johannah Deakin penned a message for fans before her death.
The mother-of-seven passed away last week after a secret battle with leukaemia and asked her husband Dan Deakin to share her farewell with her son’s “amazing” supporters after she passed away.
Dan took to Johannah’s Twitter page to write: “Hi, it’s Dan. Johannah asked for me to send this afterwards. She wanted to thank you all, and to let you know that you have been amazing right from the start. You changed Louis’ life, but also her life. Your support now is as strong if not stronger than ever. So from Johannah one last time, thank you for everything xxx (sic).”
The message comes after Louis returned to Instagram for the first time since the tragic death of Johannah, in order to thank fans for their support.
Louis shared a photo of himself and Steve Aoki performing their track ‘Just Hold On’ at the ‘X Factor’ final at the weekend and captioned the Instagram post: “Thank you for the incredible support :)”
Louis had previously thanked his loved ones and fans for helping him through the live TV performance.
He tweeted after the show: “That was harder than I ever imagined. I want to thank everyone around me and all of the amazing fans out there that made that so special!
“Feeling so much love around me and my family . Mum would have been so f***ing proud ( sorry for swearing mum ) love you !(sic)”
And the One Direction star also praised his collaborator Steve, who helped fulfil Johannah’s wish; for Louis to debut his solo single on the show that made him famous.
He posted: “Also @steveaoki , you have been such a rock and inspiration throughout this ! Pure talent and a real gent ! (sic)”
But Steve shared the sentiments, replying to the message: “U were the rock my brother. U are my inspiration. U have the biggest f***ing heart and I’m so proud of u. Blew us all away for her. (sic)”
Following his tearful performance on ‘The X Factor’, the show’s head judge Simon Cowell praised Louis for his “bravery”.
He said: “I have to say something to you. I’ve known you for six years, what you’ve just done – the bravery.
“I respect you as an artist and I respect you as a person. Your mum was so proud of you Louis and she was so looking forward to this performance. She’s watching over you now and you’ve done her so proud.”
The chart-topping track is believed to be a tribute to Johannah and features the lyrics: “What do you do when a chapter ends / Do you close the book and never read it again / Where do you go when your story’s done / You can be who you were or who you’ll become.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Niall Horan bought hot chocolate for fans who queued overnight to see him.
The One Direction singer was passing by the TV studios for ‘The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon’ when he spotted the fans camping out, so he went to Starbucks to get hot beverages for them.
Niall, 23, who was accompanied by a videographer, went to three different Starbucks before finding one that was still open in Times Square, and after handing out the drinks, he chatted and posed for pictures with his loyal admirers.
Niall also joked that he hoped the fans were there for him or else it would be embarrassing that he had stopped.
Twitter user @inshallahzayn tweeted a picture of herself with Niall and wrote: “when you’re waiting for fallon tickets and the king of pop pulls up (sic).”
She added that fans were told to “put away our phones and out comes Niall James Horan with four carriers of hot chocolate.
“He went to all the Starbucks in Times Square to find the 24 hour one and buy us hot chocolate (sic).”
When asked by a fellow fan if she thought Niall only stopped because he wanted to get footage of himself with fans, she replied: “no, i honestly don’t think he would’ve stopped if he didn’t want to. none of us noticed his car until he came out and walked over to us. he really could’ve just gone to his hotel if he wanted to (sic).”
Meanwhile, Niall recently paid tribute to Louis Tomlinson’s “incredible” mother, Johannah Deakin, after she passed away last week following a secret battle with leukaemia.

OHMYGOSSIP — Felicity Jones and her ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ co-stars brought the movie to London on Tuesday (13.12.16).
The actress – who stars as heroine Jyn Erso in the first stand-alone ‘Star Wars’ film – wowed in a flowing grey dress as she attended a fan screening in the English capital with castmates including Donnie Yen, Ben Mendelsohn, Kathleen Kennedy, Forest Whitaker, Riz Ahmed, Felicity Jones, Diego Luna and Mads Mikkelsen.
Director Gareth Edwards also attended the special screening, which comes just days after the movie had its world premiere in Los Angeles.
And Felicity, 33, recently admitted that Rebel Alliance fighter Jyn was inspired by Beyonce.
She told E! News: “I think she’s someone who has incredible power and is devoted to what she does, but she also seems like a very nice person. I think that’s very important to emulate …
“Particularly when I’m doing these scenes, I get really into it. When I’d get home, I wouldn’t even realise. I think the adrenaline is pumping around your body so much. Then you get home and you’re suddenly like, ‘Wow, I’ve got quite a few bruises going on here.'”
And the brunette beauty thinks it is “wonderful” that young girls are able look up to her character.

OHMYGOSSIP — George Clooney and Rande Gerber treated their employees to an “epic four-day trip” to Mexico.
The pair and their Casamigos Tequila business partner Mike Meldman splashed out on the lavish holiday to show their appreciation for their staff.
A source told the New York Post’s Page Six: “The trip consisted of day parties, tequila lunches, a few daytime meetings, jet-skiing, beach dodgeball, volleyball, beautiful dinners, night parties, glow-in-the-dark golf and fireworks.”
George couldn’t make it on the getaway as he is currently directing the movie ‘Suburbicon’ starring Matt Damon and Rande’s wife Cindy was also too busy to attend.
However, she sent a cheeky message to her husband, which read: “Babe, have a great trip! Remember – you’re there to sell lots of Casamigos, not drink it!”
Rande previously claimed he and George were “forced” into starting a company because they were ordering so many bottles of tequila.
He shared: “George and I started drinking tequila a very long time ago. There came a point when George said to me, ‘Why don’t we just make our own.’ We never meant it to be a business.
“We started out just us drinking it, without anyone being able to buy a bottle. We were kind of forced into [making it a business], after about two years, we got a call from our distillery and they said to us, ‘We have a situation. For the past two years, we’ve sent you a thousand bottles a year. Either you’re selling it, or you’re drinking way too much. You need to get legit with the situation.”
Meanwhile, earlier this year, George and Rande jointly sold their Mexican homes for $100 million.
The pair offloaded their Cabo properties, which they built on adjacent sites, to a Mexican billionaire who was desperate to have the houses.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West met with Donald Trump to discuss “multicultural issues”.
In his first tweets since October, the 39-year-old rapper, who was recently hospitalised with psychosis caused by dehydration and sleep deprivation, revealed he met with the US president elect at Trump Tower in New York on Tuesday (13.12.16) to discuss a number of issues.
He tweeted: “I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues.
“These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago.
“I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change (sic).”
Kanye also went on to hint that he is considering running for president in 2024, by tweeting “#2024”.
The star surprised fans at his concert in San Jose last month, when he insisted he would have voted for Trump if had cast a vote on November 8.
He explained: “I told y’all I didn’t vote, right? But if I were to vote, I would have voted for Trump.
“I just said that I would have voted for Donald Trump and then I did a song and y’all sang it at the top of your lungs. That doesn’t mean that you’re a Trump supporter. That just means you OK with a celebrity having their own opinion. Or that someone else is OK to have their own opinion. That might not be your opinion but you can still like that person or still like that person’s music.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloe Kardashian’s boyfriend Tristan Thompson has become a dad.
The 25-year-old basketball star’s former girlfriend Jordan Craig gave birth in Los Angeles earlier this week and Khloe chartered a private jet to ensure Tristan was able to get there from Cleveland, Ohio, in time for the birth.
A source told X17Online: “Khloe’s really understanding about Tristan’s situation – she’s a little embarrassed that her boyfriend is having a baby with someone else, but it happened before she hooked up with Tristan. She wants him to be a responsible dad, but she wants to keep it all on the down low.”
Khloe, 32, discovered that Tristan was having a baby with Jordan, a cousin of Kevin Hart’s wife Eniko Parrish, after they started dating, but decided to commit to the relationship anyway.
A source said at the time: “Khloe and Tristan are doing really well. They are exclusive. There is a lot of chemistry between the two of them and they are happy together.”
And things are so serious that Khloe sent some of her clothes to his home in Ohio as she plans to spend a lot of time there during basketball season, cheering on the Cleveland Cavaliers player.
A second source added: “Tristan told Khloe about the baby. He’s happy about it.
“Khloe’s having fun with him right now and just doesn’t want any drama.”
And Tristan has gotten the seal of approval from Khloe’s mother Kris, who previously said: “They are really cute. You know, she’s having a good time. He seems like a really nice guy.”
When asked what makes them work, Kris replied: “I don’t know! I think just with any relationship, just in life, I think it’s about chemistry and about values. You know, about how two people get along, so…you know how that goes!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West and Donald Trump did not discuss politics during their meeting this week.
The 39-year-old rapper and the 70-year-old US president elect met at Trump Tower in New York, where Donald told reporters that they just discussed “life”.
A source added to PEOPLE: “Kanye reached out to Trump and asked to come by. They didn’t talk about politics. Kanye is in New York for meetings and he is also working with a realtor to find an apartment. He loves New York and wants to spend more time there.”
‘Celebrity Apprentice’ star Donald also revealed the pair have been pals for some time, explaining: “We’ve been friends for a long time.”
Kanye was accompanied by Kris Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble on the visit.
Although Kanye has revealed his plans to run for president in 2020, he refused to answer questions on whether he discussed his bid with Trump, insisting he just wanted to “take a picture right now”.
Meanwhile, sources close to the star say he is much calmer following his recent stint in hospital for exhaustion and sleep deprivation after cancelling his US tour.
A source said: “Kanye seems more subdued and less manic than he usually has been, but still in a creative headspace. He’s being low-key but seems focused on the future – future projects and moving forward. He’s slowed down a little but he’s still very focused on projects, personal and professional. And he does still seem exhausted from everything. You can tell the experience [canceling the tour and time in the hospital] was very trying.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Zayn Malik needed “time away” when he was in One Direction.
The 23-year-old singer/ songwriter quit the boyband in 2015 and admitted he feels he has grown a great deal since he left.
He said: “I’m enjoying what I’m doing at the minute. When I was in the band, there were times where I needed time away to go see my family and recollect my thoughts. But right now, I feel like I have the time to process things, and I’m doing things in my own space, so it’s a good place to be in.
“I feel myself growing every day as a person, as we all do, just getting older and wiser hopefully.”
Zayn also opened up about his struggles with anxiety, saying he found writing his recently released book ‘Zayn’, therapeutic.
Speaking on ‘The Elvis Duran Show’, he said: “I feel like writing anything down is a little bit of a therapy process…It’s a way of alleviating your mind and getting it out there. For me, it was a little bit of that. I kind of enjoyed it.
“It was fun to reminisce on things and think about what was good and what was bad and make sense of it all. I didn’t have time to do that in the band.”
Zayn, who is dating model Gigi Hadid, 21, went on to praise his parents and the people of his hometown in Bradford, Leeds, for keeping him grounded.
He said: “Where I’m from, people are very easily ready to pull you down to the earth when you get a bit big headed. I’m thankful for that because one of the things that I like to hold onto in my personality is the fact that I’m quite grounded.
“I think if you tell your parents at any age that you’re going to go off and share some massive dream like becoming a music star or an actor or something that’s not easily achieved, it’s going to be questionable…but they’ve fully supported me in everything. I’m really grateful for my parents.”

The 57-year-old actress is working with ActionAid UK to raise awareness of the plight of hidden women and girls across the world by launching the ‘Yours, Mrs Claus’ blog, which is home to stories, anecdotes, ideas and inspiration from Mrs Claus herself and a series of celebrities including Emma and comedian Jo Brand.
Emma said: “I was inspired by this campaign and the synergy that it draws between the often ‘hidden’ Mrs Claus, and the work that ActionAid does to support some of the most marginalised women and girls living in the poorest parts of the world.
“I have seen for myself how ActionAid champions these women and works with local volunteers to empower them to change their lives for good.”
Whilst Jo added: “ActionAid is doing really heartening and important work across the globe to give powerless women and girls some say in their lives.
“I am so pleased to be able to support this original campaign to shine a light this Christmas on the many women whose struggle is hidden and to encourage readers to buy one of ActionAid’s fantastic Gifts in Action that will make a real difference to the lives of these and other women living in extreme poverty.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Zendaya dropped her surname because she wanted to be “cool”.
The 20-year-old actress – whose full name is Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman – has revealed she decided to cut her full name down because she wanted to make a statement and to be like the late music legend Prince, whose full name was Prince Rogers Nelson, and fellow vocalist Cher.
Speaking to Allure magazine about the reason she changed her name, the brunette beauty said: “I [dropped my last name because I] just thought it was cool, like Cher or Prince.”
And the Disney actress – who played the role of Rocky Blue in the programme ‘Shake It Up’ alongside Bella Thorne – has hinted everything in her life has been “a climb” for her, and she has had to work hard to be successful, although her upbringing has made her appreciate “everything” a lot more.
She explained: “Everything has been a climb. And I’ve been able to take my family and friends with me. I came from humble beginnings.
“I’ve never had a pool before,” she says, making a grand, sweeping gesture with her arm that takes in the newly planted baby palm trees and all of the unfurnished rooms inside. “I’ve never lived in a house this beautiful. OHMYGOSSIP — Joshua Jackson finds it hard to date following his split from Diane Kruger.
The former couple called off their relationship in July and the ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star admits things are a lot different on the dating scene now than it was a decade ago.
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Joshua admitted: “Things have changed a little bit since last time I was single. Maybe it was there, but I don’t remember it. I mean, everything’s on your phone now, right?
“There’s no more talking to people anymore. You talk to somebody and they’re like, ‘Ugh! No, no, no, no, no! We don’t do that anymore.’ So, yeah, it’s been quite a big change.”
Meanwhile, it was previously claimed that the pair split because Diane “resented” leaving France to be with her boyfriend in the United States.

And Diane – who was previously married to Guillaume Canet – had admitted moving to New York whilst Joshua was appearing in a play in the city was a “big step into adulthood”.
Asked if she would consider marrying again, she said: “Welcome to my dilemma. I just moved to New York. I need to unpack and buy some house stuff, like candles and books. [Moving here] was a major commitment. That’s a big step into adulthood for me, to allow that time for someone else out of my time.”
Despite their split, the couple vowed to stay friends.
Their representatives said in a statement at the time of their split: “Diane Kruger and Josh Jackson have decided to separate and remain friends.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amber Rose and Val Chmerkovskiy are smitten with one and other.
The 33-year-old beauty and the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ professional are said to be “very happy” with how her their romance is developing so far and are completely in love with each other.
A source told People magazine: “They’re solid and in a good place. They’re both very happy with how things are going.”
It comes just a day after the model, who was one of the celebrity competitors on the most recent series of the American ballroom show – which is based on BBC One’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – and danced with pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Val’s brother, seemingly confirmed her relationship status with the 30-year-old dancer.
Amber and Val were pictured leaving the Delilah club in West Hollywood last Friday (09.12.16), and the cropped-haired vixen smiled broadly for photographers as she walked hand-in-hand with the hunky dancer.
The dinner date follows her numerous appearances in photos posted to his social media account.
On Sunday (11.12.16), Amber made an aggressive post on her Twitter page in which posted an image of a meme which read: “F**k what people say. If someone makes you happy, be with that person. Because at the end of the day, your friends aren’t going to eat your a*s. (sic)”
Amber simply captioned the meme with the word “exactly”, along with a love heart eyes emoji symbol.
Val – who, along with his partner Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez, were crowned the winners of ‘DWTS’ in November – also did nothing to quash romance rumours by taking to his Instagram page on Sunday to post a photo of him with Amber looking stunning in a studded bright red shirt.
A source has spilled to Us Weekly magazine that the pair were initially getting on as “just friends”, but it’s now “recently turned into more and they have been hooking up”.
Amber was once in a relationship with Kanye West and was previously with rapper Wiz Khalifa, with whom she has three-year-old son Sebastian.
