OHMYGOSSIP — Tina Knowles is taking a break from social media after she “accidentally” liked an insulting Instagram comment about Jennifer Hudson.
The 62-year-old fashion designer – who is the mother of musicians Beyonce and Solange – provoked controversy after she liked a comment that criticised Jennifer’s singing during her promotional work for her 2006 movie ‘Dreamgirls’, which also starred Beyonce.
Tina liked one comment which said “Jhud sounds terrible” – but she has subsequently insisted it was an accident and simply a function of her poor social media skills.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Tina issued an apology and clarified the situation.
She wrote: “I’ve known Jennifer Hudson for many years and have totally been in admiration of her talent and beauty and kindness I would never ever say anything negative about her or agree with anything negative !
“Mychildren worried that I might accidentally touch something when looking at other sites and have warned me about it . They always say that I am not that great on social media I have to be very careful . and somehow maybe I touched a button but the truth is I was on my Instagram and someone commented on Beyoncé (positive) by the way , and I went to look at their site and saw some good videos and performances of Beyoncé I came across the video of her and Jennifer (which I totally enjoyed) and I was looking at them I didn’t even look at the comments or what people were saying till just now. and I absolutely would not have touched a like or dislike on one of these sites. (sic)”
Tina insisted that her previous social media posts prove that she is not a “hater”.
She said: “I think if you look through my Instagram you’ll see that I am not a hater and I am not negative about people so to Jennifer for my mistake of accidentally touching it which I don’t remember doing I really apologize I totally love and Admire you and I’d have to be pretty stupid to do that knowing it would be everywhere, but I will be taking a break from social media as this is the bad side of it. There are people who make thier living off of negativity. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Debbie Reynolds’ greatest fear was outliving her children.
The 84-year-old actress died from a suspected stroke earlier this week, just one day after her 60-year-old daughter Carrie Fisher passed away, and Debbie previously admitted that she didn’t know if she could ever survive one of her children passing away before her.
She wrote in her 2013 book ‘Unsinkable’: “It’s not natural to outlive your child. This has always been my greatest fear.
“Too many mothers have lost their children, for thousands of different reasons. I don’t know if I could survive that.”
Debbie’s son Todd Fisher believes Carrie’s death led to the veteran actress’ own sudden demise.
He said: “She went to be with Carrie. In fact, those were the last words that she spoke this morning.
“More specifically, she said that she really, she was under a lot of stress.
“She held it together beautifully, obviously, for the last couple of days but she was under a lot of emotion and stress from the loss [of Carrie] and it’s pretty much what triggered this event.”
Debbie was at her son’s Beverly Hills home to discuss funeral plans for the ‘Star Wars’ actress’ when she suffered a medical emergency and the paramedics were called.
And her death came just after Debbie – who had Carrie and Todd with her ex-husband Eddie Fisher – posted a heartfelt message to her late daughter on social media.
She wrote on her Facebook account: “Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter. I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop. Love Carries Mother (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Winslet has paid tribute to Alan Rickman in a touching tribute.
The pair co-starred in the 1995 movie ‘Sense and Sensibility’ and 2016’s ‘A Little Chaos’ and as the first anniversary of Alan’s death approaches next month, Kate revealed how the generous star was always happy to share the wealth he accumulated from starring as Professor Snape in the’Harry Potter’ movies.
She wrote in Entertainment Weekly: “He was always a great big softy. If there was one word I could use to really describe Al, it would be kind. He was so kind.
‘At Al’s memorial, Juliet Stevenson told the story of how whenever Al would go out to supper and anyone else would try and pay, he would somehow have phoned ahead or slipped his credit card ahead of the meal so no one even got a look at the bill.
“He’d just say, ‘I’ve got two words for you: ‘Harry Potter.’ And he became known for doing that’.”
Following 69-year-old Alan’s death last year, after a secret battle with cancer, Kate, 41, also shared a moving tribute to him.
She said: “He was loved enormously by so many. He was an exceptionally warm and giving man and an utterly phenomenal actor and gifted director.
“I remember being so intimidated by him when we worked together when I was 19, because he had such a powerful and commanding presence . And that voice! Oh, that voice …
“But the reality of course, was that he was the kindest and best of men. Had the patience of a saint. He was a warm hearted puppy dog, who would do anything for anyone if it made them happy.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have made a surprise visit to patients at a children’s hospital.
The 24-year-old singer and her actor fiancé, 26, paid a visit to the patients of Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego on Thursday (29.12.16) as part of Miley’s Happy Hippie charity which aims to fight injustices facing homeless youth, LGBTQ youth and other vulnerable populations.
In a series of photos posted to her Instagram account, the ‘Wrecking Ball’ hitmaker wrote: “It’s a VERY special day for @happyhippiefdn !!!! Will fill y’all in SOOOOON! Can’t wait to share
“Thank you @radychildrens for your incredible dedication to bettering the lives and health of the beautiful youngins @liamhemsworth and I got to visit today!
“Thank you for having us today! Beautiful children everywhere! @liamhemsworth is OFFICIALLY a #happyhippie !!!! @happyhippiefdn
“Queen Warrior!!!! Yes you are!!!!! (sic)”
And it wasn’t just Miley who shared her excitement on social media, as the Facebook page for the hospital also posted a message thanking the pair for their time.
The post read: “Today we received a surprise special visit from a couple of people you might recognize! Thank you to Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth and The Happy Hippie Foundation for bringing joy and laughter to our patients! (sic)”
Miley’s good deed comes after she revealed earlier this year that she offered her support to one devoted fan who was undergoing the transitioning process of going from male to female.
She said: “I remember a lot of people, but when I meet people and I’m stoned, I’m not as good with names. But I’ll remember my fans who’ll wait outside. There’s some in the bigger cities who are there all the time.
“I actually saw one kid, who’s probably been standing outside for eight years, transition from male to female. I helped her through that process–when she had on just the fingernails, I was like, Yes! Get it! We’re about the same age, so you kind of grow up with your fans.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Frankie Bridge’s husband “never really got into” Christmas until he started dating the singer.
The Saturdays star admits the festive season has always been very important to her family and her soccer star spouse Wayne Bridge – who she married in 2014 after three years together – has now embraced their traditions.
Frankie – who has sons Parker, three, and Carter, 16 months, with her spouse – said: “Christmas has always been a big thing for my family.
“Wayne, bless him, ever really got into Christmas so the Sandfords rammed it down his throat from the minute we met.
“He has been well and truly Christmassed.”
But one tradition the 27-year-old beauty didn’t embrace until fairly recently was eating mince pies.
She said: “I love that everybody gets together at Christmas and the food. I love mince pies but I’d never had one until two years ago.
“I had my first one this year in September.”
Frankie is enjoying teaching her sons about Christmas, but thinks she still has “a bit of work” to do as they haven’t quite grasped what is happening.
She said recently: “Parker is three so he’s just starting to get into it.
“Although the other day he did say to me, ‘Father Christmas is on his way with his horses and I’m scared.’
“I thought, ‘This isn’t the way it should be.’
“So I told him they were reindeers and he should be excited. I think I have a bit of work to do there.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloe Kardashian is “freaking out” about Lamar Odom’s new reality TV show.
The 32-year-old star’s former husband – who almost died in a Nevada brothel last year after a drugs and alcohol binge – recently inked a deal for a docuseries about his recovery but Khloe reportedly wants to stop it.
A source told America’s OK! magazine: “Khloe is freaking out that he’s going to spill some dirt on her and her family on camera.
“She’s already contacted her lawyers to see if she can stop the show from going forward.”
Earlier this month, former NBA star Lamar, 37, checked into rehab as a precautionary measure.
An insider said at the time: “Lamar checked into rehab. He plans to stay for 30 days. It’s a substance abuse programme, but he was not abusing drugs when he went in. He is clean. This is a precautionary measure.
“He wants to stay clear and focused. With the divorce from Khloe being finalised and the holidays coming up, he doesn’t want to slip up. He’s trying to take care of himself. He really wants to be better. His friends and family encouraged him to go in and he agreed and made the decision.
“Everyone who knows and loves him just wants him to get back to his old self, but that will still take some time. He’s been through a lot and he’s still working on himself.”
“He’s actually writing while he’s away, he’s doing a lot of writing in there. There’s a book offer on the table. But part of the deal was that he’s going to get in good shape. Everyone’s been so supportive.”
Lamar and Khloe married in 2009 but split four years later after he cheated on her with multiple women. Khloe put the divorce on hold to care for him after his collapse last year but their marriage was dissolved earlier this month.

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Friel finds plans for New Year’s Eve always turn out to be disappointing.
The former ‘Pushing Daisies’ actress tries to leave deciding how to mark the turning of the year as late as possible, as she thinks she is only setting herself up for things to go wrong if she has grand expectations for the evening.
Asked her plans for New Year, she said: “I’ve got a place in Majorca so I might head there.
“I usually find if you plan New Year’s, it’s disappointing.
“I might wait until a few days before and see who is around, because I think it’s about who you’re with, not what you’re doing.”
The 40-year-old actress – who is in a relationship with Rhys Ifans and has daughter Gracie, 11, with former partner David Thewlis – has set herself a number of New Year’s resolutions, and has already made a start on putting them into practice.
She said: “My New Year’s resolution is always to try and be more patient. I’m quite efficient and I get things done quickly.
“Also, drink more water.
“And my new thing is listening to podcasts and running. I did, like, 12 miles last week doing that.”
Though Anna stayed in the UK for Christmas, she did think about jetting off somewhere snowy.
She said: “I always go up north. But I kept Googling things like, ‘Switzerland’ and ‘cabins by frozen lakes’ because I really want a cabin in the snow.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are reportedly “stronger and healthier” together than “ever before”.
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ stars have been known for their on/off relationship, but managed to put their differences aside in time for the Christmas season – which they spent together with their three children Mason, seven, Penelope, four, and Reign, two – and are now reportedly “getting along great”.
A source claimed: “Kourtney is doing her part. She has a lot of strong feelings for Scott and she is enjoying having him around.
“She sees how much happier their children are when he’s around, so she is being patient with Scott and trying to be forgiving of his rocky past. Scott and Kourtney are having a lot of fun too. They are stronger and healthier as a couple than ever before.”
Kourtney, 37, and Scott, 33, were spotted enjoying a family skiing holiday in Aspen, Colorado, on Tuesday (27.12.16) with their children, and the insider added the pair have been “enjoying each other’s company”.
The source told HollywoodLife.com: “They have been laughing a lot and enjoying each other’s company. Kourtney and Scott have taken the kids to Aspen for some skiing and are continuing to get along great. Scott is not drinking at all and working really hard to be present for Kourtney during this family vacation.”

OHMYGOSSIP — George Michael reportedly wanted to adopt a child in 2017.
The pop icon, who died on Christmas Day at the age of 53, had made fatherhood his major goal for the year, having previously put the idea off because of his hectic work life.
A source shared: “George’s dream was to be a father. He wanted to adopt or use a surrogate.”
The former Wham! star was keen to follow in the footsteps of his good friend Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish, who have sons Elijah and Zachary through a surrogate.
The insider told the Daily Star newspaper: “It was his big aim, supported by Elton and David all the way.
“When Elton took the step he (George) knew he too had at last moved into that part of his life.”
George and his partner Fadi Fawaz were both eager to start a family over the next 12 months.
The source explained: “To not have his own family, he felt incomplete.
“It was a missing link he craved. George always wanted to be a father, he wished his mother were alive to see the day.
“To start a family was on his to-do list for 2017.”
However, George – was passed away at his home in Goring-on-Thames, England – had no intention of being a so-called chequebook dad like some of his celebrity friends.
The insider added: “He felt his career made him too selfish to be committed to being a parent.

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend has been arrested.
Conor Kennedy, 22 – who Taylor, 27, dated briefly in 2012 – was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct in Aspen, Colorado on Thursday (29.12.16).
Aspen Assistant Chief Bill Linn said in a press release: “At about 1:40 a.m. Aspen PD officers were dispatched to Bootsy Bellows … for a report of a person who was refusing to leave the premises.
“While officers were on scene dealing with that situation, they witnessed a fight occurring on the street in front of the bar. Officers tried to separate the two men, who were ‘rolling around on the ground.”
Witnesses reportedly saw “[Conor] throwing approximately four or five punches to the head of the other party. [Conor] was … issued a court summons for Feb. 22, 2017, at 9 a.m. He was released without bond.”
However, the grandson of Robert F. Kennedy reportedly said sorry to the arresting officer and claimed his opponent “called my friend the f-word”.
Conor could face up to a year in jail and a $2,650 fine for the disorderly conduct charges.
During their short-lived romance, Taylor bought a home in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, near to Conor’s family’s Cape Cod compound.
However, after the relationship ended, Taylor sold the house at a $1 million profit.
Taylor refused to ever confirm she had bought the house, saying: “People say that about me, that I apparently buy houses near every boy I like. If I like you I will apparently buy up the real estate market just to freak you out so you leave me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tamara Ecclestone wants a healthy and happy family in 2017.
The socialite insists she isn’t looking for much more out of life in the coming year because she is so content with her husband Jay Rutland and their two-year-old daughter Sophia, who she affectionately calls Fifi.
She said: “I know it sounds corny but all I want for next year is my family’s health and happiness.
“I feel like I’ve got so much to be grateful for and that’s the most important thing for me.”
One thing that will be keeping the brunette beauty busy next year is Sophia’s riding lessons, as Tamara is planning to do more with her after her sister Petra Stunt surprised the youngster with her own pony, who the tot has named after her favourite ‘Frozen’ character, Elsa.
Tamara said: “We went to the stables and Fifi saw where the horse slept and she had a ride on him.
“It was a complete surprise to me and Sophia was so happy – really excited.
“She has been riding for over a year now – she loves it – so now she has her own pony I will take her to the stables three or four times a week.
“The pony is a boy but Fifi called him Elsa anyway.”
With the family jetting off to Switzerland for the festive season, Tamara, 32, is also hoping to introduce Sophia to skiing.
She said: “I don’t want to push it, but if she wants to do it I’ll encourage her.
“I started at her age, so hopefully she will like it. She loves the show.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Kardashian reportedly wants to quit his reality TV show ‘Rob & Chyna’.
The star – who was admitted to hospital earlier this week after suffering complications with his Type 2 diabetes – is reportedly stressed and wants to stop the cameras running so he can focus on getting better and spending time with his fiancee Blac Chyna and their daughter Dream.
A source told HollywoodLife.com: “He doesn’t want to do the show anymore, he just wants to live his life with Chyna and Dream and not have to worry about doing a TV show. He is stressed and not out of the woods with all his issues and he would rather have them not broadcast to the world.”
Rob was rushed to the emergency room in Hidden Hills, California, earlier this week, and released the next day, and friends believe stress was a major cause of his medical emergency.
A source told Us Weekly: He’s been so stressed out, so [he’s] not taking care of himself or eating right. Stress affects his diabetes.”
Another insider added that fighting with Blac Chyna was also to blame.
The source told PEOPLE: “Rob has made some changes to his lifestyle, but all the latest drama with [Blac] Chyna has made him depressed. And he has been on a terrible diet.”
“He hasn’t been taking care of himself, and that’s why he’s now sick again.”
The pair briefly split before Christmas but later reconciled.

OHMYGOSSIP — Billie Lourd’s stepfather has paid tribute to Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds.
Billie’s beloved mother and grandmother died within one day of each other this week and Bruce Bozzi, who married 24-year-old Billie’s father, Bryan Lourd, in October, took to Instagram to share some special memories of the late stars.
He posted a picture of Billie, Debbie and Carrie, from Billie’s New York University graduation, and wrote: “@praisethelourd it’s an honor to be your Stepfather. This day, your NYU grad day we had so much fun! Yankee Stadium your mom and I laughed our asses off, as she kept one fantastic line coming after the other – no less when we all fell asleep the night before in the smaller ceremony because it was so boring. Every time Carrie looked at me she said ” how are you still awake”! Your grandmother with our sweet Ava was the kindest most loving. So…as Carrie said to me years ago ” I’m a good stepmother” I promise I will always be & the strength of these women live so vibrantly in you. I’ve been lucky enough to see this for a decade! Meanwhile, Carrie, 60, and Debbie, 84, could be set for a joint funeral but the family is still in discussions about the memorial.
Debbie’s son Todd Fisher said: “That is my preference. Obviously it’s not finalised, but I think that sounds like a grand idea given the beautiful story between them.”
And Todd previously stated that he believes Carrie’s death led to Debbie’s own sudden demise.

OHMYGOSSIP — Todd Fisher has shared a heartbreaking drawing of Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher.
The mother and daughter – who died within a day of each other earlier this week – are pictured with their arms wrapped around each other walking into the light in a touching drawing by Debbie’s surviving son.
In the picture made by Ricky LaChance, Carrie is dressed as her ‘Star Wars’ character Princess Leia while her mother wears a yellow raincoat like her ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ character Kathy Selden.
Todd captioned the image on Twitter: “This is a beautiful love story to witness in my 58 years. I miss them both so much. Love is everlasting.”
Debbie, 84, passed away on Wednesday (28.12.16) from a suspected stroke, just one day after her daughter Carrie, 60, died after suffering a heart attack during a flight from London to Los Angeles and the pair are set to be laid to rest together.
Todd believes Carrie’s death led to the veteran actress’ own sudden demise.
He said: “She went to be with Carrie. In fact, those were the last words that she spoke this morning.
“More specifically, she said that she really, she was under a lot of stress.

OHMYGOSSIP — George Michael has reportedly left £50million in his will to his sister Melanie Panayiotou.
The 55-year-old make-up artist – who also used to cut her brother’s hair as she travelled with him – is set to receive the lion’s share of the icon’s huge £105million fortune following his death from heart failure on Christmas day (25.12.16).
His eldest sister, Yioda Panayiotou, 57, is also expected to inherit a chunk of his pro­perty empire.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “George was very close to his sisters, and the understanding is that they’re going to inherit most of his wealth, par­ticularly Melanie who he was incredibly close to.
“She was there at many of the big milestones in his life, and was there by his side until the very end. George was very family-orientated and even in his death he’s shown that. He was keen to see them well looked after for the future.”
However, George was estranged from his cousin Andros Georgiou, but his relative has insisted the star wanted to “make peace” with him before his death and they had hoped to meet up in the New Year to sort things out.
Andros – who revealed the pair fell out over George’s former wild lifestyle – said: “He was feeling better about stuff and he’d stopped being naughty. But there was much pain in his heart. I think it just gave up. He felt like he had let people down.
“He had swapped drugs for drink but he was doing better. Now he’s gone it’s devastating. We only heard when we put on the news – on Christmas Day. None of us know what happened. We just don’t know anything.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lindsay Lohan has written a ‘Mean Girls 2’ treatment.
The 30-year-old actress is so desperate for a sequel to the 2004 movie that she has taken matters into her own hands and put together her ideas for a follow-up.
She told CNN in a Facebook Live interview: “I have been trying so hard to do a ‘Mean Girls 2’. It is not in my hands. I know that [the film’s writer and costar] Tina Fey and [producer] Lorne Michaels and all of Paramount are very busy. But I will keep forcing it and pushing it on them until we do it.
“I have already written a treatment for it. I just need a response. I know Mark Waters, the director; he’d happily come back.
“I’d love to have Jamie Lee Curtis and Jimmy Fallon in the movie.”
Meanwhile, earlier this year Tina revealed she and her husband, composer Jeff Richmond, were working on a ‘Mean Girls’ musical.
And it is set to debut in Washington next year.
