OHMYGOSSIP — Warren Beatty has paid tribute to “loveable” Carrie Fisher .
The 79-year-old actor’s first encounter with the ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ star – who passed away in December following a heart attack at the age of 60 – was when they starred alongside each other in 1975 comedy ‘Shampoo’, and Beatty says it is a “big loss” to the movie business.
Speaking at the Palm Springs Film Festival, where Carrie was remembered, he said: “I loved her, her first movie she did with us and she is a very lovable person and very brilliant person in so many ways. Big loss, big loss.”
The Hollywood legend attended the annual awards ceremony with his wife, Annette Bening, who gushed about her spouse.
During their join interview with ‘Extra’, she said: “Certainly, meeting my husband when we did ‘Bugsy’ together, that was a turning point. That was a big moment for me and us.”
And Warren – who got married to the 58-year-old actress in 1992 – agreed that is was “THE moment” of their life.
The ‘Rules Don’t Apply’ star – who has children Stephen, 24, Benjamin, 22, Isabel, 19, and Ella, 16, with his wife – was full of praise of Annette’s forthcoming flick ’20th Century Women’.
He gushed: “I think she’s the best, the movie is terrific, she’s terrific in it and I’m in awe of her as an actress.”
Meanwhile, back in 2015, Carrie recalled her mother Debbie Reynolds – who passed away on December 28 aged 84, just a day after her daughter Carrie Fisher died – told her to tone down her flirting on-screen with Beatty in ‘Shampoo’.
At the time, she said: “Bad memories [stay with you] when you get older, and if you do LSD – not that I did, but my mom told me what happened when you did, so I didn’t/
“One movie which came about by accident was ‘Shampoo’ … I became Lee Grant’s daughter, who sleeps with Warren Beatty – underage, everything.
“There was a bad word said [in the script] and my mother … Can I say a bad word, you guys? I was supposed to say, ‘Wanna f***? in the movie, and my mother asked if I could say, ‘Wanna screw? Instead.
“My mother was against very bad language.
“I remember that my mother once said ‘That f***er said the f-word to me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe Jackson has congratulated his daughter Janet on the birth of her first child.
The ‘That’s The Way Love Goes’ hitmaker and her husband Wissam Al Mana welcomed their son Eissa Al Mana into the world on Tuesday (03.01.17), and the talent manager took to his website on Wednesday (04.01.17) to wish the pair “all the love and happiness”.
Joe wrote on jwjackson.com: “Congratulations to my daughter Janet Jackson on the birth of my Grandson. Making me a grandfather again ! Wishing you all the love and happiness a father could wish a daughter. (sic)”
Alongside the message, Joe posted a small collage of pictures of himself and his daughter.
Joe’s well wishes for the 50-year-old singer were posted shortly after her sister La Toya Jackson, 60, took to Twitter to express her excitement at the new addition tot he family.
Alongside a picture of a blue balloon with “It’s a boy” emblazoned across it, she wrote: “How exciting! @JanetJackson, Jan and Wissam just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy!!! Congratulations!!! (sic).”
And the star’s nephew TJ Jackson – who is the son of Janet’s brother Tito – has also reached out to the star following her pregnancy, which saw him allay any concerns his aunt may have about motherhood as he claimed parenthood “is the best”.
He said: “Congrats Auntie @JanetJackson!!! So so happy for you & Wissan. Enjoy every minute with your greatest hit, Elissa. #parenthoodisthebest (sic).”
Meanwhile, the ‘Together Again’ singer is “resting comfortably” after giving birth.
Speaking about Janet’s welfare in a statement, her representative said: “Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world. Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Meryl Streep has been asked to give the eulogy at a public memorial service for Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds.
‘Star Wars’ actress Carrie – who died aged 60 on December 27 after suffering a suspected heart attack – and her 84-year-old mother, who passed away a day after her daughter, will be laid to rest in a private service and burial on Thursday (05.01.17), but their family is also planning a Hollywood event to allow fans to say their farewells to the actresses.
And according to TMZ, though no date has yet been set for the public memorial, 67-year-old Meryl – who appeared in Carrie’s movie ‘Postcards from the Edge’ and was very close to Debbie – is expected to lead the tributes to her friends, though she is not a “firm lock” yet.
Actors from the ‘Star Wars’ movies, including Mark Hamill, will also be invited to speak, and creator George Lucas is expected to attend, though unlikely to address those who assemble for the service.
Insiders told the website the public memorial will also feature some of Debbie and Carrie’s most famous movie costumes, including outfits from ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ and ‘Star Wars’, on display.
Carrie and Debbie will be buried side by side in California’s Forest Lawn cemetery.
There are no stars expected to deliver eulogies at their private funeral, and Carrie’s daughter Billie Lourd has yet to decide whether she feels up to speaking at the service or not.
Billie spoke out about her double loss earlier this week via social media, with the ‘Scream Queens’ actress thanking fans for their
prayers and support, which have “given her strength when she thought strength could not exist”.
Captioning an old picture of herself with Carrie and Debbie, she wrote: “Receiving all of your prayers and kind words over the past week has given me strength during a time I thought strength could not exist.
“There are no words to express how much I will miss my Abadaba and my one and only Momby. Your love and support means the world to me. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloé Kardashian felt “insecure” growing up alongside her “beautiful” older sisters.
The 32-year-old reality star is set to hit screens with her own show ‘Revenge Body with Khloé Kardashian’ on January 12, and in a preview clip for the premiere episode the blonde beauty opens up about her struggles growing up with her two glamorous siblings Kim Kardashian West, 36, and Kourtney Kardashian, 37, as she always felt like the “chubby one” with bad skin.
In the clip for the show – which sees the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashian’ star mentor men and women as they reinvent themselves both inside and out – Khloé sits down with a woman named Stephanie, and discusses her previous battle with acne.
She says in the video posted be E! News: “I didn’t get acne until I was in my 20s, which sucks and I was so insecure. And my sisters have had the most beautiful skin their entire lives, like not even a pore.
“I was like, ‘How the f**k am I the chubby one, the this one, the that one?’ It’s like, it’s not fair.
“That stuff is all fixable.”
Meanwhile, the television personality – who is currently dating Tristan Thompson – recently posted on her app reflecting on the past year, and said she had “grown so much”.

OHMYGOSSIP — January Jones likes “dirty” younger men.
The 39-year-old actress has been single since she became a mother to five-year-old Xander – whose father’s identity she has never revealed – and she admits she thinks she has a £problem” when it comes to the kind of guy she is attracted to.
She said: “The moment I see someone I think is cute, I Google him and oh, he’s 25, and I’m thinking, ‘What’s my problem?’
“My sister too. She lives in La and we both like tattoos, guitar, kinda dirty…”
And as well as worrying about the emotional connection, January is unsure of the physical benefits of dating a younger guy.
She continued: “Is the sex great though? Do they know what they are doing? I guess you can teach them.
“But I want a manly man in flannel with a beard and an axe. But there’s always something wrong. Like, he’s a Republican.”
Thought the former ‘Mad Men’ star’s friends are often keen to set her up on a date, she insists she isn’t interested.

OHMYGOSSIP — James Corden says ‘The Late Late Show’ “owes” George Michael for the success of ‘Carpool Karaoke’.
The 38-year-old comedian has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late British musician – who tragically passed away last month at his home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxon aged 53 – and thanked him for inspiring the segment on the CBS programme, which sees celebrities jump into his Range Rover for a sing-a-long and chat.
James worked with George on a ‘Carpool Karaoke’-style sketch for ‘Comic Relief’ back in 2011, and revealed it was only when he showed the footage to Mariah Carey, his first guest on the segment, that she agreed to take part.
He said: “It was the first time I’d ever sung in a car with anybody, and it’s become quite a big part of my life now, and he really inspired it.
“When we started the show here were tried to get people to do ‘Carpool Karaoke’ and not many artists wanted to do it.
“We would send them this clip of George and we sent it to Mariah Carey. Her words were, ‘If it’s good enough for George, then it’s good enough for me I’ll do it.’
“We owe him so much at this show, George we miss you so much, we really will.”
And on a personal level, James – who has children Max, five, and Carey, two, with wife Julia – credits the late former Wham! singer for helping him get through a lonely time in his life.
Speaking on his show on Tuesday night (03.01.17), he said: “I feel like I’ve loved George Michael as long as I’ve loved music, and I know so many of his fans feel the same.

OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie has accused Brad Pitt of being “terrified the public will learn the truth” about their marriage.
The ‘Maleficent’ actress – who split from the 53-year-old star in September 2016 amid reports he had “got physical” with their eldest son Maddox, 15, on a private jet – has filed documents agreeing with the ‘Moneyball’ actor’s request legal paperwork relating to their split should be kept private, but took a swipe at her estranged husband within the paperwork.
After Brad filed documents last month that accused Angelina of compromising the privacy of their brood – Maddox, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – and alleged she “appears to be determined to ignore even agreed upon standards relating to the children’s best interest and she is attempting to clear the way to put in the public eye any allegations she can, without regard to the impact on the minor children,” the actress has slammed his statements as audacious.
According to TMZ, who obtained the documents which had been filed by the 41-year-old beauty’s lawyer Laura Wasser, the paperwork accused Brad of lashing out because he’s “terrified that the public will learn the truth.”
The documents claim the ‘Tree of Life’ star is trying to “deflect from [his] own role in the media storm which has engulfed the parties’ children.”
And though the FBI and Los Angeles’ Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) closed investigations into Brad, determining no action was needed following his alleged row with Maddox, the documents suggested the actor wanted their divorce to be private in order to avoid details of their probes being made public.
The paperwork said: “There is little doubt that [Brad] would prefer to keep the entire case private, particularly given the detailed investigations by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Dept. of Children and Family Services into allegation of abuse.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Soulja Boy got involved in a fracas as he roamed the streets of Compton on Tuesday afternoon (03.01.17) looking to draw Chris Brown into a fight and the incident was captured on Instagram Live.
The 26-year-old rapper threatened to “knock out” Chris after the 27-year-old singer vowed to “fight him” for liking a picture of his ex-lover Karrueche Tran.
He infuriated the ‘Loyal’ hitmaker after he liked an Instagram post made by Karrueche, 28, whose on/off relationship with Chris ended over a year ago and then decided to look for Chris in the city in Los Angeles County.
But Soulja Boy – who hails from Atlanta – himself fell victim to an attack, after he was accosted by a man as he was recording the live video of himself walking through a neighbourhood with his entourage.
In the video, Soulja can be seen popping off at an unnamed person.
He said: “You gotta check in anyway, n***a. P***y. You got us f***ed up n***a, talking you ’bout you gon’ knock my homie out, n***a. I’m catching fades for my big homie Wack, n***a.”
Before continuing to rant and scream at naysayers who question his street credibility and he appear to reach his arm around a man’s neck immediately pushes Soulja off of him and Soulja’s phone falls to the ground.
It is not clear what happened next as the video lens is covered but the ‘Zan With That Lean’ rapper can be heard arguing with the man and others.
One guy asks him whose phone it is, and Soulja says it is his and then the video ends.
Another video of the incident shows Soulja putting his phone on the ground in order to ‘square-up’ to the man before his people stop the brawl.
This incident follows a Twitter rant earlier this week, when Soulja Boy – real name DeAndre Cortez Way – tweeted: “Chris brown just called me and said he wanna fight me because I liked @karrueche picture on Instagram this n**** a b***h
“Aye @chrisbrown pull up n***a I’ll knock yo B***h A** out stop snorting so much coke n****. FRUITS
“F**k @chrisbrown
“That n**** @chrisbrown better not tweet s**t with his p***y a**. He called my phone trippin so now I’m trippin F**k n****. Fruits! (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner will no longer be “posting personally” on her app after an unapproved post was published detailing her sex life with boyfriend Tyga.
The 19-year-old reality star took to Twitter on Tuesday night (03.01.17) to share the news with her followers that she would no longer be writing her own posts on thekyliejenner.com, as she strongly denied having any involvement in a “very personal post” about her relationship with the 27-year-old rapper.
She tweeted: “Hey guys from now on I won’t be posting personally on my app anymore … a post went up today quoting something that I NEVER EVER said or saw. A very personal post that I would never ever approve. And it’s unfair to me and you to think that those were my words. I’m sorry and I know we will figure somethng out so we can all be satisfied Love You (sic)”
She also tweeted that her app would now be run by her “team and friends”, but later deleted it.
The deleted message read: “It will strictly be just from my team and my friends keeping you guys updated”
The app post in question – which told her fans to “spice things up with lingerie, toys, and massages” – has since been deleted, and the team behind Kylie’s app also took to social media to share their “sincere” apologies for the mishap.
They wrote: “To Kylie’s fans: This morning, a drafted article was inadvertently posted for a short period of time on Kylie’s app. This was a draft that was not in Kylie’s words, was not Kylie’s idea and had not been sent to her for approval.
“We’d like to sincerely apologize to Kylie for this mistake and the fans because it was never our intention to misrepresent Kylie and Kylie’s voice.
“We deeply regret that this happened and will work hard to ensure this never occurs again. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mariah Carey is reportedly to blame for her disastrous New Year’s Eve performance because she didn’t participate in the soundcheck.
The 46-year-old singer was performing in Times Square, New York, for ‘Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve with Ryan Seacrest’ on Saturday night (31.12.16) when she stormed off stage after being plagued by numerous technical difficulties.
The New York Post newspaper is now claiming that Mariah caused her own problems because she sent her assistant out to carry out the all-important soundcheck.
A source has claimed: “It was totally [Carey’s] screw-up … Her assistant came out for the soundcheck, not her. All her dancers were in step. Everybody else onstage heard the track. Even without [the earpiece] there were eight speakers onstage. It was not the sound people.”
Another source has come forward to claim Mariah was present for the sound check, but for “no more than four seconds”.
The insider stated: “The soundcheck was about 20 minutes. A stand-in did the whole routine with the mike. Mariah was on the side of the stage, and at the very end – no more than four seconds – she goes up and goes, ‘La-da-dee-da … Everything sounds great. Love you, New York,’ and left.”
Insiders also claim the ‘We Belong Together’ hitmaker was left standing “like a lost puppy” in the wrong positions, and claimed there was no technical reason for her mistakes.
The new claims come after Mariah’s manager Stella Bulochnikov accused Dick Clark Productions of sabotaging her performance.
Stella raged in a letter: “You know her inner ears were NOT working and your entire production team did not set her up to win.
“AND MARIAH KEPT TELLING THEM ON STAGE IN REAL TIME.
“THEY KEPT IGNORING HER. SHE TOOK A HIT HONORING HER COMMITMENT TO YOU. I SHOULD HAVE PULLED HER OFF THE STAGE THIS IS SABOTAGE (sic).”

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Kendrick doesn’t “want to hear” actors talking about sexism.
The 31-year-old actress has opened up about her thoughts on the issue of sexism in Hollywood, saying she doesn’t believe actors should talk about their experiences because they’re “in such positions of privilege”, and she would rather hear about sexism “in other fields” and jobs.
When asked about the issue of sexism in Hollywood, the ‘Pitch Perfect’ star said: “It shouldn’t be the most important conversation about sexism – because no one really wants to f***ing hear actors talk about this, because we’re in such positions of privilege … I would love to hear more about sexism that exists in other fields and how we can address that – but we keep getting asked about it.”
And the ‘Trolls’ star also discussed the idea of celebrities having a responsibility to use their status to talk about global issues, and admitted she often feels “weird” being asked to talk about topics she is still learning about herself.
She told the new issue of Glamour magazine: “Well, it’s weird, isn’t it, because I feel like why would anybody want my ‘expert opinion’ on any of these topics? If you want to learn about intersectional feminism, read Roxanne Gay, don’t ask me, you know? I’m being asked to speak on these things when I’m trying to learn about them myself.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Stone still sucks her thumb.
The 28-year-old actress can’t help but slip her fingers into her mouth when she’s feeling stressed out because it helps to soothe her mind but she has admitted the habit caused her teeth to deviate from natural growth and she had to wear braces for seven years.
Speaking to the new issue W magazine, she said: “I had braces for seven years so any play that I did for the most part I would just have whatever lip colour I was wearing in the braces for the whole play … It was a very interesting orthodontist. Also, I sucked my thumb until I was 11 years old. It’s still so soothing to do it, it feels so good. The roof of my mouth is so high pitched that I had this huge overbite and I got this gate when I was in second grade that came down.
“I had braces and then they put a gate and it was like this and I would lift the gate, I would take the gate down and suck my thumb underneath the mouth appliance. Maybe that contributed to the many years of orthodonture.”
Although many people find thumb sucking frustrating to watch, the flame-haired beauty has admitted her “pet peeve” is when people spell traditional names in a “funky” way.
Emma – whose real name is Emily Jean Stone, a moniker she had to change when she joined the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) because there was already a member listed – explained: “It bugs me when names, like traditional names, are spelled funky. Like Emily being spelled, and no offence if your name is spelled this way, but you know Emily that’s like: E-M-Y-L-E-I-G-H, Emily, that makes me crazy, because all you have to do your whole life is be like, ‘My name is Emily, let me spell it for you: E-M-Y…,” like they can’t just write the name that it sounds like.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jenny McCarthy has branded Mariah Carey’s New Year’s Eve performance as a “train wreck”.
The 46-year-old singer was plagued with technical difficulties during her performance on Saturday (31.12.16) as part of ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest’ which ultimately caused her to storm off stage.
The 44-year-old star – who acts as the correspondent from Times Square in New York City for Ryan’s show – considers the set to have been a disaster for Mariah but she initially did have “sympathy” for her because there’s nowhere to hide on live TV.
Speaking on ‘The Jenny McCarthy Show’ on SiriusXM, the blonde beauty – who is married to Donnie Wahlberg – said: “I felt really bad for her, because it was that bad. It was a complete train wreck. And like Donnie [Wahlberg] said, being in this business, I know what it’s like to have your prompter go out. I know what it’s like to have my inner ears go out. It’s scary, and it’s like your brain malfunctions and you’re on live TV. So I was like, you know what, I have sympathy for her.”
However, after the manager for the ‘We Belong Together’ hitmaker accused Dick Clark Productions of sabotaging Mariah’s performance, Jenny “stopped” sympathising with the singer.
She added: “My sympathy stopped, however, the moment she accused Dick Clark Productions of sabotaging her performance.”
The comments come after Stella Bulochnikov – Mariah’s manager – wrote a letter to Dick Clark Productions, accusing the producers of the show for “ignoring” Mariah’s concerns about the technical failures.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sophie Turner has posted her first photo of her boyfriend Joe Jonas on her Instagram account.
The 20-year-old actress and the former Jonas Brothers musician first made their relationship known when they spent Thanksgiving together in November, and have now made things official on the picture sharing website after the fiery haired beauty posted a picture of Joe on her account this week.
The picture shows the 27-year-old singer smoking whilst on a boat and was simply captioned: “Miami Daze (sic)”
The news comes after the DNCE frontman was said to be falling head over heels for ‘Game of Thrones’ star because she “has her own money” and isn’t using him to get free dates.
A source said: “[Joe is] smitten [because Sophie] has her own money. He loves her because she won’t let him pay for her all the time, which is so rare in girls he meets. She insists on paying her own way for flights when he asks her to come see him and offers to pay. Plus, he thinks she’s so smart and sexy.”
And despite having only been together for a short period of time, the ‘Cake by the Ocean’ hitmaker already believes the beauty is something special.
The source added: “He’s telling friends there’s something different with her, and he knew it as soon as they met.”

The 55-year-old actress is rumoured to have entered rehab for a fifth time after experiencing a meltdown, and though she didn’t directly confirm reports she is seeking treatment at the Cliffside Malibu rehab centre, she has admitted she is working to resolve her personal issues.
She said in a statement: “I am feeling great and am taking steps to enrich and better my life. Currently I am working on tying up some loose ends regarding certain issues so I can hit 2017 full steam ahead.”
The former ‘Melrose Place’ star – who has a 19-year-old daughter, Ava, with ex-husband Richie Sambora – has a long history or drug and alcohol addiction.
In June 2008, she was treated for anxiety and depression in an Arizona clinic, three months after her doctor called emergency services because she was suicidal. In September of that year, Heather was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription drugs.
In April 2010, she was arrested again, and cited for misdemeanour hit-and-run, and later that year she checked into a 30-day rehab programme.
Heather was hospitalised in January 2012 after a 911 call was made from her home amid reports she had mixed alcohol and prescription medication.
The actress will next be seen in TLC’s first ever scripted series, ‘Too Close to Home’.
