OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran is the godfather to rapper Big Narstie’s child.
The 25-year-old singer has known the producer – who features on Craig David’s 2016 hit ‘When the Bassline Drops’ – for many years and they are so close that Big Narstie asked him to play a prominent role in his kid’s like as a spiritual guardian.
Ed doesn’t have any kids to ask Big Narstie to return the favour but he did get him to work on his new album ‘÷’.
Speaking about the 31-year-old musician’s unnamed offspring on ‘The Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Scott Mills’ on Friday (06.01.17), Ed said: “Big Narstie came down. I’ve known Big Narstie for years, I am godfather to his kid.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Sing’ hitmaker – who has just unveiled two new singles, ‘Shape of You’ and ‘Castle on the Hill’ – has revealed that cast members of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ were some of the first people to hear his new tracks on his third studio LP ‘ ÷’ after he invited them back to his six-bedroom mansion in Suffolk in East Anglia, England.
He said: “I ended up going to a party where a lot of the ‘Game Of Thrones’ lot were at. They all ended up back at my house. I’d never met some of them before and said ‘do you want to hear some of my songs?’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloé Kardashian “wishes the best” for her ex-husband Lamar Odom after his recent stint in rehab.
The 32-year-old reality star finalised her divorce from Lamar last month, and although she reportedly won’t be getting in touch to congratulate him on his recent 35-day stint in a rehabilitation facility in San Diego for fear of “dragging up the past”, she’s “happy” to see Lamar making progress.
A source told HollywoodLife.com: “Khloe’s mind is on her new TV show and her new man. She’s happy for Lamar and she wishes the best for him, but her focus is very much on the here and now.
“Getting in touch with him, even to congratulate him, is just going to drag up the past and she’s not trying to do that right now.”
Lamar, 37, admitted himself into rehab in December as a preventative measure as he feared the 10-year anniversary of his six-month-old son Jayden’s death, coupled with the finalisation of his divorce, could drive him back to drugs, and was discharged from the centre on Thursday (05.01.17)
The attorney for the basketball player, Walter Mosley, previously revealed the sportsman – who has children Destiny, 18, and Lamar Jr., with former partner Liza Morales – was doing well in rehab and was working towards becoming a better person when he completed treatment.
Walter said: “I have had reports from the doctors that he’s doing well. This is a preventative forward looking movement by Lamar. We have a lot of very important things lined up for next year. I like to say Lamar is on a comeback tour in 2017.
“It’s about maintaining health, being healthy, doing what’s right for his family, being a better father, just improving himself. This was his idea and he has the full support of the people who work for him, his family, staff and everyone around him.

OHMYGOSSIP — Charli XCX “nearly vomited” on a live television show after a night out partying.
The 24-year-old singer – real name Charlotte Aitchison – thinks she needs to “take a break” from her wild nights of partying after she turned up hungover for a live appearance on an unnamed television cooking show, and had to have a bucket on standby in case she needed to throw up as her hangover was so bad.
She said: “I absolutely nearly vomited on the TV show.
“And it was a cooking show, and they made me flip a pancake and try a load of breakfast cocktails. So I’m flipping a pancake, having a mimosa, with a bucket by my feet about to throw up.
“That was when I was like, ‘Maybe I should take a break from partying for a second.’ ”
But although the ‘After The Afterparty’ hitmaker may have seen the light when it comes to overindulging in alcohol the night before a television appearance, she also says she “doesn’t care” if people take photos of her when she leaves a club looking worse for wear.
She added: “I don’t care if I take a bad picture of me getting f***ed up coming out of a club. I’m like, ‘Cool, I flashed my butt cheek on the red carpet! Great, whatever.’ ”
The ‘Boom Clap’ singer isn’t afraid of being herself, and even shot down her record label when they asked her to post pictures of her dog on Instagram in order to seem “more friendly”.
She is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: “I had a meeting with my label where they were like, ‘Every Tuesday you should post a picture of you and a dog, because it will make people think that you’re more friendly’.
“I was like, ‘Who got paid to f***ing come up with that f***ing idea?’ The next day I took a picture of me and a dog, and I was like, ‘Here’s a picture of me and a dog. My label asked me to post it so I didn’t look so intimidating. Here it is.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — John Legend doesn’t think he’s the “perfect husband”.
The ‘All of Me’ hitmaker – who has eight-month-old daughter Luna with his wife Chrissy Teigen – insists he isn’t as romantic “as some people might think” but quipped he is working on it.
He said: “I’m definitely not the perfect husband. I try to remember to buy flowers randomly – that’s a good thing to do. I’m not as romantic as some people might think. I’m working on it. My friends certainly don’t think I’m some special guru of love.”
And the 38-year-old singer is much “tougher on everybody” now he has a family as he wants to spend as much time with his wife and daughter as possible.
He added: “Now that I have a family, I’m tougher on everybody who works for me. There’s more ‘Nope, I’m not going’ and ‘Nope, I’m not doing this.’ I try to stay home as much as I can. I just don’t want to miss out on this important time in Luna’s life.”
John feels he has a very “mellow and subdued” personality in comparison to Chrissy’s and admits he wishes he has “more emotion” at times.
He told InStyle magazine: “I get things done. I’m good at executing, at following through … I think because my personality is kind of mellow and subdued, it’s good for me to have someone who is kind of the other way. She’s energetic and passionate and has more emotion. I think she wishes I had more emotion sometimes too.
“But she makes me have more fun than I would normally have. I don’t think the whole thing of opposites attract is exactly right – you have to have enough in common. But the combination of the two of us is dynamic and exciting.”

OHMYGOSSIP — A petition has been started to make Carrie Fisher’s ‘Star Wars’ character an official Disney Princess.
The Hollywood icon tragically passed away at the age of 60 in December after falling ill on a flight from London to Los Angeles leaving fans of her intergalactic alter ego Princess Leia devastated.
Now, Cody Christensen – a father of five daughters – has set up the petition to get Leia granted Disney Princess status as the company now owns the rights to the ‘Star Wars’ franchise and has the power to bestow the honor upon Leia.
The Change.org petition reads: “After the tragic loss of Carrie Fisher, we feel that it is only fitting for Disney to do away with the rule that an official Disney princess must be animated and make Leia a full-fledged princess. This would be a wonderful way to remember Carrie and a welcoming to one of Disney’s new properties that is beloved by millions.”
The petition also calls for a “full ceremony” to be held that would induct Princess Leia into the ranks of Disney Princesses – which include the likes of Cinderella, Snow White and ‘Beauty and the Beast’s Belle – as well as a “service in memory” of the late icon who brought the character to life.
The petition continues: “What we are asking is that the Walt Disney Corporation hold a full ceremony inducting Leia as the newest Disney princess as well as a special service in memory of Carrie Fisher.”
The petition addressed to Disney CEO Bob Iger was set up last week and has already gained over 50,000 of its 75,000 required signatures.
Explaining his motivation for his campaign, Christensen told
GeekExchange.com: “I started the petition because it was something that bugged me since Disney bought the property. Disney had princesses and Leia was a princess.
“Then I found out that Disney had set rules for who could and couldn’t be a princess. With Carrie’s death, I think that it’s time to change the rules. I actually have five daughters and there are constantly princess movies playing in the background. We are big fans of the current Princess line-up, but I think that Leia is a really strong, positive, awesome role model for my girls, and she would make a great addition.”

OHMYGOSSIP — George Michael’s boyfriend Fadi Fawaz will be questioned again by detectives as they fear the singer may have died from a drugs overdose on Christmas Day (25.12.16).
The Wham! star’s sudden death is still being treated as “non-suspicious” but a major crime unit from Thames Valley Police, who specialise in murders and rapes, has now been brought in to rifle through the file as they attempt to piece together the days leading up to the point George was found dead by his partner at his home in Oxfordshire.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “The investigation is now picking up a bit of speed. Officers from the Major Crime Unit have begun asking questions of those who were in the area at the time George died and the day before. They want to build up an idea of what George’s last seven days were like and who came and went.”
It was initially claimed the ‘Careless Whisper’ hitmaker – who was found dead at the age of 53 – died from heart failure but it’s now thought the singer, who had an estimated fortune of £105 million, passed away from an overdose of illegal or prescription drugs.
George had a well-documented battle with drug abuse throughout his career and his cousin recently revealed that he was treated for crack cocaine addiction in 2015.
A post-mortem was carried out last week on George’s body but it failed to identify the cause of death and now toxicology tests are underway to determine what ended his life.
One retired senior police officer explained to the publication: “Given his history, there must be a possibility that drugs, illegal or otherwise, could have been involved in his death. Because of his high profile and wealth it makes absolute sense for the Major Crime Unit to investigate the full circumstances while they wait for the toxicology results to come back. It does not mean that he did die from drugs but until it is proved otherwise they cannot rule it out and must investigate properly.”
Police are reportedly planning to grill Fadi, who dated the singer from 2012 until his death, once again this week, as well as George’s housekeeper and neighbours.
Photographers who were working nearby his home over the festive season are also helping police with their investigation but it’s not believed anyone is under suspicion.
The exact details of George’s funeral are yet to be announced but it’s believed he will have two ceremonies – one for friends and family and one for fans – later this month.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lamar Odom is thinking about doing a reality show following his recent stint in rehab.
The 37-year-old basketball player spent 35 days in a rehabilitation centre in San Diego as a preventative measure as he feared the 10-year anniversary of his son Jayden’s death, coupled with the finalisation of his divorce from Khloe Kardashian, could drive him back to drugs, and although he was only released on Thursday (05.01.17), he’s already thinking about his next move.
When asked by TMZ what he plans to do next, Lamar replied: “Just live life, bro. I might do a reality show.”
And the star is confident that his time in the facility has made him a changed man.
Asked how he found his rehab experience, he told the publication: “Awesome. Life changing.”
A source previously claimed Lamar – who suffered a near-fatal overdose when he collapsed in a brothel in October 2015 – voluntarily went to rehab to help him “start fresh for the New Year”.
The insider said: “He went to continue making sure he stays sober and on the right path. It was something he chose to do. He did it for his kids and also wanted to feel 100 percent again. He did not relapse, but felt like he wanted to get away and start fresh for the New Year.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran doesn’t own a phone anymore.
The ‘Thinking Out Loud’ hitmaker has ditched his cell because he was addicted to Twitter and Facebook and he was alienating himself from real-life conversations as he spent hours scrolling social media sites.
The 25-year-old star – who unveiled his two new singles ‘Castle on the Hill’ and ‘Shape of You’ from his third studio album ‘÷’ on Friday (06.01.17) – has vowed to spend less time on social media and will simply be answering emails on his iPad instead.
Speaking on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Scott Mills and Chris Stark, he said: “I literally don’t have a phone. I just do emails on an iPad. I have quite an addictive personality and I was just kind of glued to it the whole time. I wasn’t having conversations with anyone.
“So my New Year’s resolution was to get off social media and I got rid of my phone. And then I came back and did the tweets on the iPad and then left it and I haven’t really been checking it and it has been really nice.”
The ‘I See Fire’ singer – who recently returned to social media to tease details of his third studio album after taking a year off – has promised fans that he won’t be abandoning Twitter and Instagram completely.
Asked if his tweeting days are over, he said: “No. I will be on social media, but I won’t be constantly glued to it. I will go to it once or twice a week to tweet or do a Snapchat.”
When he announced his departure from social media last year, Ed said he would be taking a break from his phone and emails.
In a lengthy post, he wrote: “Hello all. I’m taking a break from my phone, emails and all social media for a while, I’ve had such an amazing ride over the last 5 years but I find myself seeing the world through a screen and not my eyes so I’m taking this opportunity of me not having to be anywhere or do anything to travel the world and see everything I’ve missed.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman had a “vision” of adopting children.
The 49-year-old actress – who adopted Isabella, 24, and Connor, 21, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise – could see the child she was going to adopt just like her character Sue Brierley did in ‘Lion’.
Speaking at a Q&A about the new film, she said: “I hadn’t had an exact vision at the same time as she had but I had a similar feeling and an idea and this sense that I was going to adopt and I could see the child I was going to adopt.”
The ‘Moulin Rouge!’ star – who also has biological daughters Faith, six, and Sunday, eight, with her spouse Keith Urban – previously opened up about the possibility of adopting again.
She confessed: “It’s something I have thought about. But you never say ‘never’ about children, do you? [We] have got our hands full at the moment.”
Nicole felt particularly “emotionally connected” to the ‘Lion’ screenplay as it involved the topic of adoption.
She explained: “Of course, when I choose things I have to be emotionally connected. And with this, I was — through the adoption. Also, there’s the power of the unconditional love that a mother gives. A mother is there, whether it’s Sue Brierley in the film, or me with my children.
“It’s important to emphasise … because a lot of times, with adoptive parents, people think, ‘Oh, it’s for other reasons.’ People have said that to me; and they said it to Sue. But when it’s the choice, it’s just the choice. She talks about the vision she had of adopting the children; and I relate to that. It happened to me, too.”
And Nicole would fully support her adopted children’s decision if they wanted to find out who their biological parents are.
She shared: “Every family’s experience with this is distinct and private.
“But we live in an ever more transparent world, technologically speaking. Kids are resourceful and the need to know your origin story is universal.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Jackson’s lawyers have claimed that Wade Robson “withheld documents” pertinent to his alleged sexual assault lawsuit.
The 34-year-old professional dancer has been in a long standing legal battle with the legal team for the late King of Pop over claims the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker sexually assaulted Wade when he was a child, and Michael’s lawyers now claim Wade has “repeatedly misrepresented” the contents of his documents.
In documents obtained by People – that were originally filed in the Superior Court of California County of Los Angeles on December 27 – Michael’s lawyers claim: “[Robson has] withheld documents that should have been produced years ago, has repeatedly misrepresented the status of his document production and redacted the entire content of numerous emails for no plausible reason.”
The celebrity choreographer first met the late star when he was five years old, and had previously made allegations against his companies MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures – which both distribute the singer’s multimedia entertainment – saying that both organisations served sinister dual purposes.
In a complaint motion filed last year, Wade’s lawyer Vince Finaldi wrote: “The thinly-veiled, covert second purposes of these businesses was to operate as a child sex abuse operation specifically designed to locate, attract, lure and seduce child sexual abuse victims.”
Wade claims Michael and his inner circle within the two companies “designed, developed and operated what is likely the most sophisticated public child sexual abuse procurement and facilitation organisation the world has known.”
The ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ judge also said that he loved Michael like a father and didn’t believe he was being sexually abused until he entered psychotherapy following a breakdown in 2012 that has left him unable to work.
Wade’s molestation claims against Michael’s estate were previously dismissed because he waited too long to file a complaint in court.
But his complaints against MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures argue the companies were negligent because they “breached their duty to take reasonable protective measures to protect minor children in their charge”.

The 51-year-old actress has been “immortalised in cement”, according to Meryl Streep who presented Viola with the accolade on Thursday (05.01.17), which saw the ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ star praise Viola for her “incandescent talent”, her generosity and her ability to do everything except be invisible.
The 67-year-old actress – who worked on the 2008 drama ‘Doubt’ with Viola – said: “Viola Davis is possessed of a blazing, incandescent talent. And she is the most generous, present person I know.
“The thing Viola can’t do is be invisible. She just can’t do it. She can’t fade away; she can’t recede; she can’t be forgettable. Viola Davis is inevitable. OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds’ funeral had “everybody singing”.
The late ‘Star Wars’ actress – who died aged 60 on December 27 – and her late mother, who passed away one day later aged 84 after suffering a possible stroke, were remembered in a private service at Carrie’s house in Los Angeles on Thursday (05.01.17), and it has been reported all of the mourners who attended the memorial joined in when Meryl Streep performed Carrie’s favourite song ‘Happy Days Are Here Again’ by Ben Selvin and The Crooners.
Speaking about the ceremony, a friend close to the family told PEOPLE: “By the end everyone was singing.”
And it has been revealed Carrie’s daughter Billie Lourd, 24, decided to hold the service at her late parent’s home because she wanted people who knew her relatives to be in her living room, where many a party took place, for “one last time”.
The source explained: “Billie wanted the people her mother loved to at her in that living room one last time.
“The only things missing were Carrie and Debbie.”
The ceremony is believed to have seen over 125 guests attend, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Tracey Ullman, comedian Stephen Fry, Carrie’s beloved dog Gary and her brother Todd Fisher, who all dined on the American star’s favourite food of fried chicken, green vegetables and cornbread.
The close friend has hinted the service brought back fond memories of days spent with Carrie, which would see her sip on a can of fizzy drink whilst ambling around her home barefoot.
The source said: “Debbie would sit in the corner, and everyone there would come up and pay homage. Even the biggest stars were starstruck by her. Carrie would walk around barefoot with a can of Coca-Cola, making sure everyone was having a good time, saying the funniest things you’ve ever heard.”
Although the service yesterday was private, a public memorial is set to take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles, California, on Friday (06.01.17).

Walter said: “I have had reports from the doctors that he’s doing well. This is a preventative forward looking movement by Lamar. We have a lot of very important things lined up for next year. I like to say Lamar is on a comeback tour in 2017.
“It’s about maintaining health, being healthy, doing what’s right for his family, being a better father, just improving himself. This was his idea and he has the full support of the people who work for him, his family, staff and everyone around him.
“It’s 100% of bettering himself. Being a better father to his kids, being a better friend and just taking responsibility and live a more healthy and fulfilled life. There’s a lot to live for. He’s young. He has the rest of his life in front of him. He has a lot to look forward to.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Meryl Streep, Meg Ryan and Gwyneth Paltrow were among the mourners at Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds’ funeral.
The ‘Star Wars’ actress – who died aged 60 on December 27 after suffering a suspected heart attack – and her late mother, who passed away a day later, were remembered in a private service on Thursday (05.01.17), and the Hollywood stars were all seen arriving at Carrie’s house, which is next door to the ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ star’s home, in the Coldwater Canyon area of Los Angeles for the memorial.
Joining Carrie’s beloved dog Gary, her brother Todd Fisher, and daughter Billie Lourd were a host of other stars, including Billie’s ‘Scream Queens’ co-star and rumoured boyfriend Taylor Lautner, actress Ellen Barkin, rocker Courtney Love and actor Ed Begley Jr..
Meryl was the first to arrive for the funeral, and carried a bunch of white flowers as she walked into the house.
Carrie was reportedly cremated earlier this week, as per her wishes, but
some of her ashes will be buried alongside her mother – who passed away after suffering a stroke – at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Burbank, California.
Though the service on Thursday was private, a public memorial is being planned to remember the stars and it was previously reported Meryl has been asked to give the eulogy.
Though no date has yet been set for the celebration of the actresses’ lives, the 67-year-old actress – who appeared in Carrie’s movie ‘Postcards from the Edge’ and was very close to Debbie – is expected to lead the tributes to her friends, though she is not a “firm lock” yet.
Actors from the ‘Star Wars’ movies, including Mark Hamill, will also be invited to speak, and creator George Lucas is expected to attend, though unlikely to address those who assemble for the service.
Insiders revealed the public memorial will also feature some of Debbie and Carrie’s most famous movie costumes, including outfits from ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ and ‘Star Wars’, on display.
