OHMYGOSSIP — Robert De Niro wrote a letter to Meryl Streep in support of her speech at the Golden Globes.
The 73-year-old actor has heaped praise on his fellow Hollywood icon after she blasted the US President-elect Donald Trump at the annual awards bash, saying she delivered her remarks “beautifully”.
In a letter obtained by PEOPLE, De Niro wrote: “What you said was great. It needed to be said, and you said it beautifully.
“I have so much respect for you that you did it while the world was celebrating your achievements. I share your sentiments about punks and bullies. Enough is enough.”
Although the actress did not name the soon-to-be US President by name, she made it clear she was upset and frustrated by Trump’s election win.
In her speech, Meryl said: “An actor’s only job is to enter the lives of people who are different from us and let you feel what that feels like. And there were many, many, many powerful performances this year that did exactly that – breathtaking, passionate work.
“But there was one performance this year that stunned me. It, it sank its hooks in my heart. Not because it was good. It was – there was nothing good about it. But it was effective, and it did its job. It made its intended audience laugh and show their teeth.
“It was that moment when the person asking to sit in the most respected seat in our country imitated a disabled reporter, someone he outranked in privilege, power, and the capacity to fight back. It kind of broke my heart when I saw it. And I still can’t get it out of my head because it wasn’t in a movie. It was real life.”
De Niro is also an outspoken opponent of Trump and prior to the election, the actor said he would like to punch the billionaire businessman in the face.
He also described his fellow New Yorker as “blatantly stupid” and a “bulls**t artist”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Paris Jackson feels “incredibly offended” by Joseph Fiennes’ portrayal of her late father Michael in ‘Urban Myths’.
The 18-year-old actress has taken to Twitter to voice her anger at the decision to cast Fiennes, a white British man, as the chart-topping pop star in the upcoming TV movie.
In response to a trailer released earlier this week, she wrote: “I’m so incredibly offended by it, as I’m sure plenty of people are as well.”
‘Urban Myths’ is based on a fictional road trip Michael took with Elizabeth Taylor – who is played by Stockard Channing – and Marlon Brando after flights were grounded in the wake of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
But Paris has accused the makers of the show of intentionally insulting her father and Elizabeth.
She wrote: “It angers me to see how obviously intentional it was for them to be this insulting, not just towards my father, but my godmother liz as well (sic)”
Paris said the show is “shameful” and that it serves to undermine Michael’s legacy as a pop culture icon.
She said: “Where is the respect? They worked through blood sweat and tears for ages to create such profound and remarkable legacies. Shameful portrayal.
“He made a point of it plenty of times to express his pride in his roots. He would never have wanted this.”
Paris’ disgust was echoed by her cousin Taj, the son of Michael’s brother Tito.
He also took to social media to bemoan a supposed lack of respect for Michael, who died in June 2009 at the age of 50.
Taj wrote on Twitter: “Unfortunately this is what my family has to deal with. No words could express the blatant disrespect.”
However, in an interview conducted last year, Joseph defended the decision to cast him in the role.
He said: “I deal in imagination, so I don’t think imagination should have rules stamped on them.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendra Wilkinson almost got into a fight with another passenger on board her flight to Los Angeles on Tuesday (10.01.17) after she downed a series of tequila shots.
The ‘Kendra on Top’ star struggled to hold her tongue after a woman – who she called a “f***ing bitch” – accused her of “being too loud” while knocking back the alcoholic beverages during their 45-minute journey but, rather than pull the blonde bombshell up on her wild behaviour at the time, she waited until they were exiting the aircraft.
Speaking to paparazzi, according to the MailOnline, as she walked out of the airport, she screeched: “So me and this girl in front of me were having some fun, taking shots of tequila. And this girl in back of me, she didn’t say anything the whole flight home, but oh she wants to say something on our way off the plane. [She said]: ‘You know you guys were a little loud.’ Say it to my f***ing face.”
The 31-year-old reality TV star is convinced the woman – whose identity and age is not known – only pulled her up on her boozing once they were making their way into the arrivals gate because she was “jealous as f**k” that she couldn’t party with them.
It’s not known where Kendra had returned from but it was probably somewhere hot as she recently admitted she suffers with seasonal affective disorder (SAD,) which is a specific type of depression that comes and goes according to the seasons of the year.
She said “I don’t know about u guys but I feel crazy around the holidays. Moody n s**t. Maybe im like this year round n don’t know tho. Lack of vitamin D they say … been gettin that extra D … maybe I should actually take the vitamin tho. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie thinks there is no support for her in Hollywood amid her ongoing divorce from Brad Pitt.
The Oscar-winning actress reportedly agreed to call a public truce in her bitter divorce battle with her estranged husband Brad after seeing the support he recently received at the Golden Globes.
A source shared: “There’s so much love for Brad in Hollywood and she feels like there’s none for her.
“They sorted out their statement within hours of his Golden Globes appearance. She realised the impact their separation has had on her image and is desperate to try to ensure no further damage is done.
“They will be keeping things to themselves from now on.”
The Hollywood duo – who share Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox – recently came to an agreement to handle their divorce out of the spotlight by using a private judge.

The 21-year-old model came under fire from the speculation in November after she was spotted during a livestream session with her sister Kylie Jenner sporting a plumper pout, and has now taken to her app to write a personal post detailing how “exhausting” she found the ordeal.
She wrote: “When I deleted my Instagram back in November, people were saying, ‘Kendall deleted her account to have full facial reconstruction!’ I think they might have been referencing the day Kylie and I did a livestream for our book (‘Time of the Twins: The Story of Lex and Livia’).

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star shared a picture of herself and Scott Disick as the pair headed to the city in the United Arab Emirates just over three months after Kim was robbed at gunpoint in the French capital.
Captioning the photograph, she simply wrote: “on our way #dubai (sic)”
And the 36-year-old television personality could soon see her tough few months of unknowns come to an end after 16 people were arrested in connection with the robbery.
A source recently shared: “Kim is deeply relieved to know that this horrible ordeal will all come to an end soon.”
And Kim – who had an estimated $10 million worth of jewellery stolen in the terrifying incident – is hopeful she may get her engagement ring back as police believe two unidentified brothers – who they have arrested – could have the information to lead them to the expensive piece of jewellery.
An insider explained: “They are involved in the diamond trade, and are thought to have handled the stolen jewellery.
“Their homes have been searched from top to bottom, and so has a jewellery shop in Paris which is also linked to them. The jewellery has not yet been found, but these brothers could lead us to it over the coming days.”

The ‘Hairspray Live!’ star was adopted by her parents Jerry and Junie when she was just a few days old and believes it was “one of the best things” that ever happened to her.
She shared: “I can honestly say being adopted was one of the best things to ever happen to me. It was never something that was hidden from me and it is not something I have ever been ashamed of. I recognise how fortunate I am to have parents who love and support me unconditionally. The fact that they are not my biological parents does not change the fact that they are simply, my parents.
“Not everyone can say that, but I count myself lucky to have a birth mother who loved me enough to know she wasn’t ready to be a mom. I’m lucky that I have wonderful parents who chose me. I often say adoption is a full-circle blessing and I truly believe it. Adopted children were not abandoned, we were chosen.”

The ‘Shake It Up’ star – who recently split from ‘Teen Wolf’ star Tyler Posey – thinks it is difficult dating other celebrities like her ex as they have a lot of girls who are “really in love with them”.
She said: “Dating in Hollywood is literally the worst thing. People are really crazy on social and, unfortunately, I date people that have girls, like, in love with them. The 32-year-old reality star – who filed for divorce from the retired basketball player in 2013, a process that was eventually completed last month – insists she never set out to lose weight, but was delighted that her transformation was able to inspire other people.
Speaking about her new reality show ‘Revenge Body’ – which sees the blonde beauty mentor men and women as they reinvent themselves both inside and out – Khloé said: “‘Revenge Body’ is inspired by my own personal journey, I was going through a difficult time going through my divorce and I started going to the gym as a place to clear my head and as a stress reliever, it was really the only place that I knew where to turn where no one would ask me a lot of questions.
“As a by product I started losing all this weight, there were so many people via social media saying how I’d inspired them, from taking something negative and turning it into a positive.”
And the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star – who is now in a relationship with basketball player Tristan Thompson – said she was “motivated” to keep working toward her weight loss goal after seeing “definition” in her muscles.
She said: “I didn’t seek out to lose 20 pounds in 20 days, that wasn’t my goal. I was always, like I wasn’t big boned, I just kind of [would say] I’m not meant to be a certain size, but once I started losing weight naturally I was like ‘OK I’m going to get a trainer’, then six months later I got a nutritionist so once I started taking my health more seriously I started seeing definition in my arms, muscles and that motivates you more to keep working out.”
As she gets older, Khloe is working hard not to create more “drama” in her life, but sometimes relies on her famous family to advise her on what is or isn’t appropriate to voice on social media.
Speaking to Chi-Lan Lieu on UK TV show ‘Lorraine’, Khloé said: “We’ll be on group text all the time, I’ve learned from past experiences to ask them first like ‘should I tweet this?’, and they’ll give me their opinions and normally it’s ‘no’, so I think the older I’m getting I’m trying to eliminate some of the drama which is good, it’s petty drama that I don’t need.”

The 43-year-old model and her husband Scott Stuber welcomed a baby boy called Grey Douglas into the world on Tuesday (10.01.17).
Captioning a picture of herself with her newborn son, Molly wrote: “Welcome to the world Grey Douglas Stuber 1.10.17 …. Words do not express how grateful and happy we are to have another piece of magic! (sic)”
Meanwhile, Molly – who also has Brooks, four, and Scarlett, 21 months, with Scott – previously opened up about how her third pregnancy has been “really, really stressful”.
She explained: “Being 43 … we wanted to tell everyone, but we were super nervous about, you know, the testing … so it’s just been really, really stressful, but everything so far is on track …
“I’ve been crazy sick. I wake up in the morning, I feel like I wanna vomit. I have lunch and wanna vomit, and wanna vomit at dinner … and then when I go to bed, I still want to vomit. I have vomited at grocery stores, I have vomited in my house, I have gagged on my toothpaste.”
But Molly managed to settle her cravings by having a hot chocolate “every single night”.
She added: “With Brooks, I literally ate, like, seven apples a day. With Scarlett, I ate, like, seven oranges a day. And with this one … it’s crazy, but it’s chocolate.
“My girlfriends last night were here visiting me, and they were like, ‘Are you drinking hot chocolate?’ Oh, I was — with the little mini marshmallows that are really not good for you. I have one every single night.

The budding romance comes just two months after the 26-year-old singer split from model Bella Hadid but the pair have remained good friends since their relationship ended.
She said: “There is no awkwardness. He is my best friend, and I am excited because I am walking during his performance.”
Whilst a source added: “Bella and The Weeknd have been talking again. The Weeknd sent Bella something special to her room to wish her luck on her big day … They are on great terms – not back together but still talking.”
