OHMYGOSSIP — Black Eyed Peas star Taboo has written a song detailing his secret battle with testicular cancer.
The 41-year-old rapper – real name Jaime Luis Gomez – revealed in November last year that he had been diagnosed with and subsequently beaten stage two testicular cancer in 2014, and has now unveiled a new track, entitled ‘The Fight’, about his experience which he says was created during his “darkest time”.
On Thursday (19.01.17), Taboo – who has three sons Jimmy, seven, and Journey, five, from his marriage to Jaymie Dizon, and Joshua, 23, from a past relationship – released the video for the track which features a group of children dancing and laughing together.
Speaking about the concept for the video, Taboo told PEOPLE: “‘The Fight’ was created during my darkest time in my personal fight against cancer. This video speaks to the isolation of that moment as well as the hope and promise of tomorrow that I found in my own young children.
“The talented kids featured in this video represent my continued commitment to movement, dance and a future without cancer.”
‘The Fight’ has been released as part of his participation in a campaign of the same name being run by the American Cancer Society, designed to inspire cancer sufferers to keep up a positive outlook despite their diagnoses.
In November, the ‘Where Is The Love?’ hitmaker spoke about how sports stars had inspired him to keep going after he was hit with the life-changing news, and said he wanted to “inspire others” in a similar way.
He said previously: “There were times that I wanted to give up, but I became inspired by sports figures who have gone through similar battles. I began channelling my energy into the thing that keeps me alive and spirited: music. I wanted to share my story and inspire others like those who had inspired me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Charli XCX wants to be buried in a “diamanté coffin”.
Even though she is only 24, the ‘After the Afterparty’ singer has been planning her funeral and in keeping with her unique fashion sense she wants to be placed in a casket which has been blinged up with sequins and rhinestones.
Charli has also been thinking about what song she wants to be played as she is laid to rest and has settled on Britney Spears’ 2004 hit ‘Everytime’.
Posting on Twitter, she revealed: “Planning my funeral. what song shall i have played whilst i’m carried out in my diamanté coffin??
funeral song = everytime by britney, duh (sic)”
Britney wrote the ballad with Annet Artani and Annette Stamatelatos and it was a recorded and released as a response to her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake’s 2002 single ‘Cry Me a River’, which was inspired by the couple’s break-up earlier that year.
The lyrics from ‘Everytime’ include: “Everytime I try to fly I fall, without my wings / I feel so small / I guess I need you baby /
And everytime I see, you in my dreams, I see your face / It’s haunting me / I guess I need you baby.”
Charli will have to rid her mind of thoughts about death, however, as she is getting ready to release her third album, the follow-up to 2014’s ‘Sucker’.
And the British pop starlet has promised a “big pop party album to get f***ed up to”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Natalie Portman is going to use her maternity leave to write a new movie.
The ‘Black Swan’ actress is expecting her second child with husband Benjamin Millepied – with whom she already has five-year-old son Aleph – and is due to give birth in a matter of weeks.
Natalie is going to take much-deserved break from filmmaking to focus on her new baby but she also wants to use that time off to create a big screen project which she can direct.
The Oscar winner – who previously helmed 2015 drama ‘A Tale of Love and Darkness’ – said: “I will be having some maternity leave. I need to write, to take some time, get a little focus.”
Natalie is determined to use her craft to promote feminism in the world and thinks it’s “crazy” that there aren’t more “women’s voices” being heard in film.
Although the 35-year-old actress “loves watching” movies made by male filmmakers, she believes it’s time to “make a change” and get more female-directed productions made by Hollywood.
In an interview with The Guardian newspaper, she said: “Every year it’s exclusively male-directed, written and filmed movies that we’re talking about in awards season. Not that men shouldn’t be making films. I love watching men’s films. It’s just crazy that there is such a minority of women’s voices out there.
“If someone notices that there’s only one woman at the table they need to make a change. Or if they notice that there are no minorities getting prominent roles in film … they need to make a change.”
And although the ‘Jackie’ star wants more female leaders in the world of cinema, she doesn’t believe the world would be a better place if it were entirely run by women, as she says there’s no “gender differences” when it comes to being “human beings”.
She said: “We’re human beings. There are good ones, there are bad ones, and everyone is going to be a mix of everything. We should know by now that female leaders aren’t inherently better people or inherently better anything. I don’t think there are gender differences in the quality of work of anything – as artists, as business people, as human beings. It’s simply humans. And women have been excluded from many opportunities.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Britney Spears’ friends are reportedly worried she is “moving too fast” with new boyfriend Sam Asghari.
The 35-year-old pop star met her new beau Sam, 22, on the set of her music video for her single ‘Slumber Party’ last year, and although the pair seem happy, Britney’s pals are concerned she’s been “thrown off-balance” by having a “new guy in her life” and is rushing into making the relationship more serious than it needs to be.
A source told HollywoodLife.com: “Britney has been thrown off-balance by Sam, the hot new guy in her life. Her friends and family have been trying to warn her that she is moving too fast.
“Those close to Britney are warning her that Sam may not be the best match for a star of her calibre. They are urging Britney to slow down with Sam, even though Britney is way into him and friends fear she trusts him maybe way more than she should.”
The blonde beauty – who has sons Sean, 11, and Jayden, 10, with ex-husband Kevin Federline – first sparked rumours of a romance with the personal trainer in November when the pair were spotted having dinner together, and quickly became “totally smitten”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jackie Evancho feels “a little overwhelmed” ahead of her performance at President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration concert on Friday (20.01.17).
The 16-year-old singer is to take the stage to sing the American national anthem ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ at the ceremony which will see Trump, 70, became the 45th President of the United States.
Many artists, including Sir Elton John, Rebecca Ferguson and Celine Dion, snubbed invitations to appear because of Trump’s controversial election campaign but Jackie is proud to be part of the historic event even though she has had both “negative and positive” reactions to her participation.
Jackie – who came second on ‘America’s Got Talent’ in 2010 at the age of just 10 – said: “I’ve had all sorts of reactions, I’ve had negative and positive and most of the time I can’t really think about the negative, all I need is the support from my family and friends.
“It’s a little overwhelming but it’s something I have to ignore and keep my mind set on my job, which is performing.”
And Jackie – whose sister Juliet is transgender and currently undergoing a gender reassignment – insists that she accepted the invitation for “the honour” of performing for her country, and doesn’t want to “involve” herself with politics too much.
In an interview on UK TV show ‘Good Morning Britain’, she said: “My sister and I are best friends, we talk to each other about everything and she supports me because she understands my reason for doing this has nothing to do with politics, it’s all about the honour of performing for my country … I don’t involve myself with politics, it was never a thought in my brain.”
It isn’t the first time the young star has performed for Donald Trump either, as she previously sang for him in “one of his hotels” after appearing on ‘America’s Got Talent’.
She said: “I performed for him in one of his hotels, off the back of ‘America’s Got Talent’. He was very polite and appreciative of me performing for him. It was a brief meeting but great.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ruby Rose thinks her girlfriend is “amazing”.
The 30-year-old actress is smitten with Jess Origliasso and loves spending time with her, and was very grateful her “moral compass” was able to join her at the Los Angeles premiere of her latest movie, ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’.
Speaking on the red carpet at the premiere, she told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “She is the most amazing person. We just jam every night. We just play music and sing and cook dinner, and she’s amazing. She’s wonderful.
“She’s always such a [source of] moral support for me and a moral compass.
“I’m so glad she came tonight.”
Ruby – who previously dated The Veronicas singer in 2008 but rekindled their romance a few months ago – stars in the film as Adele Wolff, and cherished the “unique” role as it so unusual to see a female lead character who is gay in a blockbuster movie.
She said: “It’s special. It’s unique. Those relationships exist in life everywhere, but they’re not shown in cinema so much, so that was great.

The 22-year-old actress is reportedly in a “new relationship” with the 17-year-old younger brother of modelling sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid, and the pair have recently been spotted walking hand-in-hand in the Beverly Hills area.
A source told E! News: “They are dating. It’s a fairly new relationship, but they are really good friends and part of the same group of friends.”
Earlier this month, the blonde beauty took to Instagram to share a photo of herself sitting on Anwar’s lap, but gave nothing away with her caption which simply read: “taken by the queen @ellenvonunwerth (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Cuba Gooding Jr. has filed for divorce.
The ‘The People Vs. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story’ actor has finally submitted a response to his estranged wife Sara’s 2014 petition for separation by filing a petition of his own and asking for their marriage to be dissolved.
The 49-year-old actor is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their 10-year-old daughter Piper and is willing to pay spousal support, TMZ.
However, when it comes to dividing their assets, Cuba – who also has grown-up sons Spencer and Mason with his estranged wife – wants to keep all of the money he has made since Sara filed for separation in April 2014.
News of the divorce filing may come as a surprise as the former couple – who tied the knot in 1994 – attended the Weinstein Company and Netflix’s Golden Globes party together earlier this month.
And last March, the ‘Jerry Maguire’ star insisted he and Sara were doing what they could to keep things together for the sake of their children.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariel Winter admits having a breast reduction is the “greatest choice” she’s ever made.
The ‘Modern Family’ actress insists she doesn’t miss her 32F boobs as they brought her so much negative attention when she was trying to grow up as a teenager in the spotlight.
She told Self magazine: “Growing up in the spotlight was quite possibly the worst for my self-esteem.
“I had a hard time finding confidence within myself. When I started, I had a completely different body than what happened overnight at 12 years old. I was stick thin, I had no chest, I had no butt – I had nothing. I was totally flat, and I was so sad about it.
“Then automatically, overnight, my body changed drastically. I was a D cup and had a bigger butt, and my waist was expanding. Everything was getting bigger. I automatically got this hate and judgment online.
“If I went to the Emmys, or if I even went to the grocery store, there would be an article the next day being like ‘Ariel Winter [had] her boobs out at this event!’ Just really negative things that weren’t helpful for me.”
The 18-year-old star – who also suffered from back problems because of her large chest – went back to a D cup in 2015, and remembers how “excited” and well she felt immediately after undergoing the procedure.
She said: “I stayed in a recovery centre for one or two nights [after the surgery] just because I wanted to.
“I didn’t even really need to. It was that quick and painless. Literally I sat in the centre and I was nervous about it. You know, ‘I want to go to this recovery centre, because I’m nervous.’
“The first night, I could have gone home. I woke up, I felt great. I was sitting there ordering a bunch of new clothes for myself, because I was so excited about it.
“I recommend it for everybody – all women that have thought about it and have suffered from having really large breasts and have back problems and just don’t feel right in their own skin.”
While Ariel has faced criticism for flaunting her figure on social media, she insists she is just being a normal teenager who doesn’t deserve to be “objectified”.
She said: “I think people make a lot of judgments about me based on what I wear and all the things that I do.
“hey kind of glorify and objectify a lot of the things that I do, and I wish people would just see me as the normal 18 year old that I am.
“I’m doing the same things that everybody my age is doing…people are taking it and making it [seem] like I’m doing stuff that is crazy when really I’m just being me. I wish people would see that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lena Dunham’s battle with endometriosis has landed her in hospital.
The ‘Girls’ star was rushed to the Lennox Hill Emergency Room for a third time in three or so months for “ovarian troubles” as a result of the condition, where small pieces of the womb lining are found outside the womb.
She said: “This is my fourth time in the last three-and-a-half months being in the Lennox Hill Emergency Room. Third time for ovarian troubles: once was a broken radial head elbow fracture caused by tripping over a flip flop. But this is my fourth time and I spend a lot of time in this emergency room.
“I’ve been hurting more and more. I started antibiotics, didn’t do anything, and the pain in my back and my pelvis has become overwhelming and so I’m here to figure out if I have an ovarian cyst or some other kind of ovarian issue that’s causing the continuous pain that is draining me of my life force.”
And the 30-year-old actress also opened up about what the condition has put her through as she discussed options for pain relief.
Speaking on the latest episode of her Women of the Hour podcast, she added: “A vaginal ultrasound is what I’m going to get. If they’re feeling nice to me, they’ll help me a little with my pain.
“[Morphine] takes your pain and pushes it away from your body. The pain’s gone, and it’s not replaced with lack of pain, it’s replaced with lack of giving a s**t about anything.”
Meanwhile, Lena had to have emergency surgery last year because of an ovarian cyst rupture.
Speaking after the operation, she said “I feel great. I feel really alive. I feel the general itchiness and strangeness that I always feel when I get dressed up for an event. But that’s all.
“I got much more rest time than the average woman with endo would probably be permitted, considering my job. I have been treating myself like a delicate, delicate flower.”

The ‘Gold’ star has opened up about the first night he met his now-wife Camila Alves, who he wed in 2012.
He said: “So I’m healthily single, at a club on Sunset. I’m not even a club guy, but this night I was a club guy, and I’m making margaritas at the end of the table. Then this figure moves across the room. I remember saying to myself, ‘What is that?’ I didn’t say, ‘Who is that,’ I said, ‘What is that?’ She sits down, and I can’t get my eyes off her. And I’m waving, trying to get [her attention].
“I go over and introduce myself. And I go, ‘Would you and your friends like to come over and have a drink?’ Which then, she came by herself. Now we sit down, music’s playing. I make a margarita. That night I spoke 25 minutes of the best Spanish I’ve ever spoken in my life. She spoke Portuguese. I don’t think I ever understood Portuguese as well as I did that night. I was focused. It worked.”
However, it all ended well and Matthew – who shares Levi, eight, Vida, seven, and Livingston, four, with Camila – and he was impressed with how well she was “holding court with his buddies and his housekeeper” the next morning.
Speaking on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM show, he added: “So we go back to the house and continue the party for a while and I’m trying to extend the time. And now she’s like, ‘OK, I’m gonna go. I’m gonna get a cab.’ And I’m like, ‘No, no. Don’t do that. It’s way too late. Take the guest bedroom.’ …
“[The next morning she was] holding court with my buddies and our housekeeper, eating breakfast like they’d been buddies for 10 years. That’s a woman who knows herself … There [was] no walk of shame. She stayed over, and she knows who she is.”

The 23-year-old singer began dating the Victoria’s Secret model last year, and the pair are already “absolutely crazy” about each other.
A source said: “They are absolutely crazy about each other, and head over heels in love. They’re a great couple, super chill and adorable.”
Despite setting tongues wagging about a speculated engagement after Gigi, 21, was spotted wearing a ring earlier this week, the source claims they loved up couple are “definitely not” engaged.
The source told HollywoodLife.com: “Zayn and Gigi are definitely not engaged, sometimes a tattoo is just a tattoo, and a ring is just a ring! OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West is “hopeful” about her future with her husband Kanye West.
The 36-year-old television personality has been readjusting to life in the spotlight after a dramatic end to 2016 which saw her robbed at gunpoint in Paris, France, in October, before Kanye was hospitalised for “temporary psychosis” in November, and sources now say whilst the ordeals have put a strain on their relationship, they’re “working to change that”.
A source said of the couple: “She is spending time with Kanye. It doesn’t seem like they have plans to split now. Things don’t seem great, but it also seems they are working to change that. Kanye has been very low-key and Kim appreciates that.
“With her life not being completely chaotic, she is able to be more understanding and patient with Kanye. Kim seems more hopeful about their future together.”
The pair – who share three-year-old North and 13-month-old Saint together – were spotted filming an episode of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ at a restaurant in California on Thursday (19.01.17), where sources say they “weren’t affectionate”, but “seemed okay”.
The sourced added to People magazine: “Kim and Kanye seemed okay. They weren’t affectionate. They walked separately into the restaurant.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman is “very interested” in fostering a child.
The ‘Lion’ actress has two adopted children, Isabella, 24, and Connor, 21, with ex-husband Tom Cruise and daughters Faith, eight, and six-year-old Faith – who was born via a surrogate, with spouse Keith Urban – and is looking at other options of expanding her family further.
She said: “I’m one of the few people in the world who has experienced so many different forms of [becoming a mother].
“But I haven’t had the child from a donor egg. I haven’t also been a foster mother and I’m very interested in that… But I did foster a child that I met through school, an aboriginal boy.”
The 49-year-old actress insisted she feels exactly the same way about her adopted children as she does about her biological daughters.
Speaking to BBC Radio 4’s ‘Woman’s Hour’, she said: “I can only speak for myself. Once the bond is formed, the bond is formed. The bond is what they emphasise in terms of any sort of maternal role.
“It’s why when you give birth, they go, ‘Quickly hold your baby, smell your baby.’ As soon as that bond is formed, that’s it. You know that feeling of you would die for that child.”
Despite previous claims Nicole has a strained relationship with her older kids because of their Scientology faith, she refused to be drawn on the gossip and simply insisted she has “unconditional love” for her offspring.
She said: “I don’t discuss any of it. I don’t discuss any of my children in terms of their privacy. All I say is that there’s unconditional love. I try to keep things simple.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner has sent her love to her best friend Jordyn Woods following her dad’s death.
The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star has called for “support and prayers” for her pal after her beloved father John passed away from cancer on Wednesday (18.01.17), just two weeks after being diagnosed with the disease.
Kylie wrote on Instagram: “My Fire Ox, My Brother, My Soul Sister. Give Jordy & her family some support and prayers right now.
“I love you the long way @jordynwoods . The other half of me .. When you cry I cry.(sic)”
Jordyn confirmed the sad news on Instagram on Thursday (17.01.17) but admitted the tragedy still hadn’t sunk in.
She shared on Instagram: “Last night heaven Got Another angel. My Daddy. Just two short weeks ago he was diagnosed with cancer and by that time it was too late.
“I appreciate everyone’s kind words and it means the world to me. It still doesn’t feel real. Forever and Always.(sic)”
Kylie, 19, and Jordyn have been close friends for a long time and the make-up guru generously splashed out $70,000 on a car for her pal when she turned 18 in September 2015.
At the time, Kylie shared a picture of the black convertible Mercedes-Benz on Instagram and wrote: “happy birthday jordyn. Thank you for being you. Most down to earth selfless human being! I hope you enjoy it (sic)”
And Jordyn was left stunned by the generous gift.
She also shared a photo of the car and wrote: “There’s no words to describe how I feel.. I just don’t know what I did to deserve this. I can never thank @kyliejenner for motivating me to always do my best and always opening up new opportunities. Do good and good things will happen. Blessed and grateful always. OHMYGOSSIP — Miguel Ferrer has died.
The ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ star – who was the son of actors Rosemary Clooney and Jose Ferrer – was surrounded by family and close friends when he lost his battle with throat cancer at the age on 61 on Thursday (19.01.17).
Miguel – who had sons Lukas and Rafi with wife Lori – had starred on ‘NCIS’ as Owen Granger from 2012 and was given the option of bowing out of the show last year when his condition worsened, but he declined. When the illness began to affect his voice, the show writers incorporated the disease into his storylines.

He told People in a statement: “Today, NCIS: Los Angeles lost a beloved family member.
“Miguel was a man of tremendous talent who had a powerful dramatic presence on screen, a wicked sense of humour, and a huge heart. Our thoughts go out to his wife Lori, his sons, and his entire family. He will be greatly missed.”
The actor had appeared in the original ‘Twin Peaks’ TV series and will be seen in the upcoming revival, for which he reprised his role of Albert Rosenfield.

Referencing President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, George said in a statement: “Today history will mark giant changes in our world, and lost to most will be that on the same day Miguel Ferrer lost his battle to throat cancer. But not lost to his family.
“Miguel made the world brighter and funnier and his passing is felt so deeply in our family that events of the day, (monumental events), pale in comparison.
“We love you Miguel. We always will.”
