OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have reportedly splashed out almost $250,000 on a romantic Italian getaway.
The ‘Heart Wants What it Wants’ hitmaker may have just started romancing the 26-year-old singer but she made sure no expenses were spared as they parted with $246,403 when they jetted across to Florence over the weekend for their first proper mini break as a couple.
The blossoming lovebirds touched down in the picturesque city on Friday (27.01.17) and immediately checked into the Belmond Villa San Michele, a hotel known for its privacy, following a long-haul flight from Los Angeles, California.
But the rooms aren’t cheap as it’s estimated it would have set them back between $3,000 to $4,000 per night for the private suite but, if they’d really pushed the boat out, they could have parted with as much as $10,000 per night for the luxurious Limonaia Villa, while the Limonaia Suite comes in just under that at around $7,000 per night.
And it wasn’t just their accommodation they failed to keep a lid on, as the loved-up duo made sure their getaway was jam packed with exciting activities and spent their first day scoffing delicious grub at the Trattoria Borgo Antico.
They then stopped by the Accademia Gallery Museum, which costs approximately $50, but made sure they were given the special treatment by coughing up $239 each for a private tour of the sculpture art gallery, according to E! News.
The pair then travelled back to their plush hotel in a private limo for around $1,500 before they picked up their designer baggage and headed to the Hotel Gritti Palace – a short journey from the beach – for a change of scenery.
However, their journey to the hotel, wasn’t smooth sailing as they had initially thought, as they would have had to catch a private water taxi from Marco Polo Airport to Central Venice for $118.
After a tiresome few days in the romantic city, the 24-year-old beauty and her beau – whose real name is Abel Tesfaye – jumped on a flight, and no doubt travelled first class, back to the United States on Tuesday (31.01.17).
The couple sparked rumours they were dating earlier this month when they were spotted locking lips and, although friends have warned them to take things slowly, they’ve been “talking every day” since their smooch session.
However, their relationship hasn’t gone down well with everyone as Selena’s ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber – who she has dated on and off since 2011 – as he thinks the romance is a scam to help sell his former flame’s forthcoming album.
And he’s not the only one who has had something to say about the couple as The Weeknd’s ex-girlfriend Bella Hadid – who he split from in November due to their conflicting schedules – doesn’t seem best pleased either.
Although she hasn’t publicly shamed the duo, she’s taken a subtle swipe at Selena by unfollowing her Instagram.

OHMYGOSSIP — David Furnish has been granted British citizenship.
The 54-year-old filmmaker – who married 69-year-old musician Sir Elton John in 2014 after over 20 years together – relocated from Canada to Britain almost 30 years ago and feels “very blessed” and “extremely proud” to now be able to hold two passports as a dual national.
On Tuesday (31.01.17), David revealed the news by posting a picture of him standing beside his and Elton’s two children, Zachary, six, and four-year-old Elijah – who were both born via a surrogate – on his Instagram account.
He captioned the image: “A very emotional morning for me. This morning, I was sworn in as a British citizen. As an immigrant, I moved to the UK more than 27 years years ago. I was welcomed with open arms. This spirit of acceptance, tolerance and diversity has allowed me to achieve a life beyond my wildest dreams. I am a very blessed man, and I am extremely proud to now carry both British and Canadian passports. @eltonjohn#ShareTheLove (sic).”
However, David’s husband Elton – whom he was in a civil partnership with for nine years before they tied the knot when gay marriage was legalised – previously admitted although the UK is a “pretty civilised place” he has recently fallen out of love with his home country.
Speaking previously, he said: “People have been OK about gay marriage and things like that and suddenly they’re not. I have never, ever thought this of this country until now.
“I was always proud to come from here and to live here, because there are different opposing views about everything but it’s a pretty civilised place. At the moment, though, it’s not, and I don’t like it. It’s horrible.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mischa Barton has thanked her fans for their support.
The 31-year-old actress was voluntarily hospitalised for mental evaluation last Thursday (26.01.17) but returned home the following day and claimed she’d been drugged.
And Mischa has now reached out to her supporters to thank them for their kind messages which “mean the world” to her.
She tweeted: “Thank you so much for all the love guys. It means the world to me. There is too much going on in the world so I appreciate this more than ever.
The former ‘O.C.’ actress was taken to hospital after she was overheard making remarks about her estranged mother Nuala Barton being a “witch” and was photographed falling off her garden fence.
Mischa later revealed she had been given the drug GHB – a date rape drug – whilst on a night out to celebrate her birthday, leading to her out of character behaviour at her home in West Hollywood later that evening.
In a statement, she explained: “On the evening of the 25th, I went out with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday.
“While having drinks, I realised that something was not right as my behaviour was becoming erratic and continued to intensify over the next several hours.
“I voluntarily went to get professional help, and I was informed by their staff that I had been given GHB. After an overnight stay, I am home and doing well.
“I would like to extend a big thanks of gratitude to the professionals at Cedars-Sinai for their great care and professionalism. This is a lesson to all young women out there, be aware of your surroundings.”
Emergency services were reportedly informed of a potential overdose or someone trying to jump and when a police sheriff arrived at the property, he said Mischa “was making incoherent statements that made absolutely no sense and she was transported to the hospital.”
The brunette beauty was placed under psychiatric care in 2009 after threatening to kill herself, and though she was never actually suicidal, she admitted she felt very “depressed” and was struggling to cope with life.
She previously said: “It was a full-on breakdown. It was terrifying. I was never suicidal, I was just overworked and depressed. But one slip of the tongue in a heightened moment and you find yourself in that situation.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Johnny Depp spent $30,000 a month on wine, according to the actor’s ex-managers.
The 53-year-old star recently accused The Management Group (TMG) of defrauding him out of tens of millions of dollars, but the firm has hit back in a blistering countersuit of its own, which was filed on Tuesday (31.01.17).
TMG claims the award-winning actor left himself on the brink of financial ruin due to his own eye-watering spending habits, which is also said to have included splashing out $3 million to blast Hunter Thompson’s ashes out of a cannon, $18 million on an 150-foot yacht and $200,000 a month on private planes.
TMG has insisted Johnny was kept fully informed that he was spending his fortune more quickly than he could afford.
In a statement, the firm said: “Depp often responded by rebuking and cursing his business managers for issuing such warnings and advice, while increasing his extravagant lifestyle and spending, and demanding that his business managers find some way to pay for it all.
“Depp, and Depp alone, is fully responsible for any financial turmoil he finds himself in today. He has refused to live within his means, despite the best efforts of TMG and the repeated warnings about his financial condition from TMG and his other advisors.”
What’s more, the company has alleged Johnny still owes TMG as much as $4.2 million and has, therefore, filed a non-judicial foreclosure proceeding on the Hollywood star’s home in an effort to recoup that debt.
TMG said, too, that Johnny’s lawsuit – which was filed on January 13 – was simply designed to delay the foreclosure proceeding.
TMG was responsible for handling the actor’s finances from 1999 until early 2016, during which time he was among the best paid and most sought-after stars in Hollywood.

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Sopranos’ star Frank Pellegrino has died aged 72.
The actor, who played FBI Chief Frank Cubitoso on the hit HBO series from 1999 until 2004, passed away on Tuesday (31.01.17) in New York City following a battle with lung cancer.
Frank also had roles in ‘Mickey Blue Eyes’ and ‘Goodfellas’, and was the co-owner of Rao’s restaurant in Harlem, New York.
Bo Dietl, a former New York City police detective and mayor candidate, has paid tribute to the late actor following his passing.
He told the New York Post newspaper: “We lost a part of New York today when we lost Frankie. There’s nobody like him, he’s an icon.
“He was big-hearted and generous and always took care of people. What a shining star and a big personality, I will miss singing along with him every Thursday night. He never complained once, he was always upbeat. I am going to miss my best friend, he was one of the bravest guys I ever met.”
Meanwhile, Frank’s friend Charles Gasparino also wrote a touching tribute on Facebook.
He said: “To say Frank was a NY legend is an understatement – he bled this city and its egalitarian promise. People love to talk how no one can get a table at Rao’s. Well, that’s true but it misses the point. The tables were given out to old time customers when the place became hot some years ago. New entrants needed to wait their turn to ‘own’ a table, and it didn’t matter who they were. [Billionaire businessman] Warren Buffett was one of those who wanted a table and faced Frankie’s famous “no”.
“You see, Frankie loved to sing to his patrons and that night [he denied Buffett], as he was belting out The Temptations’ classic My Girl, he turned to Buffett and sang: “I don’t need no money, fortune or fame … I’ve got all the riches, baby, one man can claim”. OHMYGOSSIP — Miranda Kerr’s wedding plans are “coming along” nicely.
The 33-year-old model – who got engaged to Evan Spiegel last June after a year and a half of dating – is busy preparing for her wedding to the Snapchat founder.
Asked about wedding plans, she teased: “It’s coming along, that’s about all I can say. It’s very exciting.”
However, Miranda is very busy with work at the moment, having just filmed an appearance in a Super Bowl advertisement alongside NFL star Cam Newton for car manufacturer Buick.
Speaking about filming for the commercial, she shared: “We did a lot of behind-the-scenes shooting in the car and dancing around the car, and he was just very playful, so it was fun, very good.
“He had a lot of fun with the little pee wee football team. They were just absolutely adorable! They took it very seriously, and it was so cute to see them interact with Cam. It was a beautiful day and luckily we escaped the rain. Everyone just had a lot of fun.”
And Miranda – who has son Flynn, six, with her ex-husband Orlando Bloom – will be hoping for the New England Patriots to defeat the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday (05.02.17) when she hosts her Super Bowl party at her Los Angeles home.
Asked if she would be inviting Orlando and his girlfriend Katy Perry, she said: “I don’t know, actually, we haven’t planned on it but yeah, we have like a bunch of friends coming over. It will be fun! It will be a good game.

OHMYGOSSIP — Blac Chyna showed off her “unconditional love” for her children as she shared a sweet family portrait.
The 28-year-old model uploaded a photograph of herself posing with her eldest child King Cairo – who she has with her ex Tyga – and her two-month-old daughter Dream Renée, who she shares with her fiancé Rob Kardashian.
Captioning the image on Instagram, she simply wrote: “Unconditional love.”
However, Rob, 29, was noticeably absent from the picture despite the pair having rekindled their romance over the Christmas and New Year period.
Meanwhile, it was previously revealed that the ‘Rob and Chyna’ stars have been working on their weight loss together.
A source said: “Rob is starting to get active again with the help of Chyna. Rob and Chyna have been taking more hikes together lately so that’s been a positive step forward …
“She is definitely making progress [with her post-baby body], slowly, so she’s happy with any progress. She wants her tiny waist back how it looked before Dream. So when she gets there she’ll be happy.”
And Chyna has a “good relationship” with Rob’s mother Kris Jenner as they share a common interest in making sure Rob is “healthy and happy”.

OHMYGOSSIP — David Foster says being single is a “powerful feeling”.
The 67-year-old musician announced his split from his 53-year-old wife Yolanda Hadid in December 2015, and despite being romantically linked to model Christie Brinkley last month, he has said he’s “not used” to being single.
He said: “I tend to go from marriage to marriage–leaving one wife for another. This is the first time in my adult life that I’ve been single. It’s a very powerful feeling, but I’m not used to it.”
And David – who has also previously been married to BJ Cook, Rebecca Dyer, and Linda Thompson – admits he’s only just starting to be “very careful” about who he decides to settle down with.
He added to Vanity Fair magazine: “Someone said to me recently that you need to be very careful about the person you pick to spend the rest of your life with. It’s kind of weird that I’m hearing that now and thinking, ‘Oh, right.'”
The news comes after Yolanda, 53, filed for divorce in January 2016 after her Lyme disease diagnoses put a strain on their relationship.
She said at the time: “We had a beautiful love story that I will treasure forever. Unfortunately, it was not strong enough to withstand the circumstances that came our way.
“Chronic, long-term illness is extremely challenging. Not only for the person sick but also for the caregiver. It for sure changed the dynamic of the relationship.

OHMYGOSSIP — Alan Thicke’s son Carter has dubbed his late father as the “perfect dad”.
The 19-year-old son of the ‘Growing Pains’ star was playing hockey with his dad when the star collapsed at Pickwick Gardens ice skating rink in Burbank, California, last month and later died in hospital, and has now opened up about the final moments he spent with his beloved father.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, Carter said: “The ambulance came and the paramedics had stabilised him and everything seemed fine.
“I got to give him a hug and said, ‘I love you,’ and that was the last time I saw him.
“He was like the perfect dad.”
Alan was 69 years old when he passed away from a ruptured aorta after doctors at Providence St. Joseph’s medical facility were unable to successfully perform surgery to open up the area around the heart and the lungs.
Last month, Tanya Callau, Alan’s wife, broke her silence to thank fans for the “outpouring of love” after his funeral.
In a statement, she said: “It is with gut wrenching sadness and unbelievable grief that I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for the outpouring of love and support during this unimaginable time.
“Through tears and smiles our dearest of family and friends came together at our home to celebrate the life of my sweet and devoted husband Alan Thicke. Along with my step sons and our combined extended family, we laid my beloved husband, soul mate and the patriarch of our family to rest. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time of profound mourning.”
Her statement came after Alan’s showbiz friends including Bob Saget, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kris Jenner joined the late actor’s family at a memorial service.

OHMYGOSSIP — Brad Pitt’s lawyers are reportedly confident he will secure joint custody of his children.
The 53-year-old actor has been locked in a custody battle with his estranged wife Angelina Jolie over their six children – Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – since she filed for divorce last year, but sources now say his legal team believe “negotiations are looking very positive” for the Hollywood hunk to be awarded joint custody.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “This is a massive victory for Brad because all he ever wanted was joint custody.
“At no point did he ever want to take the kids away from Angelina, which she initially tried to do him.
“Things have come full circle since they announced their separation.
“Brad Pitt’s lawyers believe the court will look badly on Angelina’s negative PR campaign against him.
“Obviously anything can happen and things could still change, but right now the negotiations are looking very positive for Brad.”
The news comes after it was recently reported the ‘Fury’ star was “much happier” since being able to spend more time with his brood.
An insider claimed previously: “He seems to have a more positive outlook. Things seem much better now … He can spend more time with them …
“He seems much happier. He has missed his kids terribly. The kids are his whole world. It’s all he cares about.”
And Brad is also happy to work with 41-year-old Angelina in the hope it will make the split easier on their children.

OHMYGOSSIP — Katherine Heigl wants “more children”.
The 38-year-old actress may have only given birth to her son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr – whom she shares with her husband Josh Kelley – last month, but she is already looking forward to expanding her family even further as she says she would “get pregnant again” but is also “very inspired” by the idea of adoption.
Katherine – who has already adopted two daughters, Nancy, eight, and Adalaide, four, with the 37-year-old musician – said: “I still want more children. I’d get pregnant again, and I still am very inspired by adoption. I also have been thinking a lot about fostering.”
And the ‘Knocked Up’ actress has praised her two daughters for being “very smart” and full of “self-esteem”.
She added: “Nancy Lee is my very, very smart, very compassionate, very big-hearted little gal. She’s totally Mommy’s little helper and loves being the big sister.
“Adalaide has so much just inherent self-esteem, which I am so proud of and so grateful for. When you’re raising girls, you want them to be confident and you want them to love who they are. With Adalaide, I’m not gonna have any problems with that.”
Meanwhile the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star says she’s finally found balance in her life, and loves being able to “turn off” her life as an actress when she’s at home with her family.
She told the latest issue of PEOPLE magazine: “I know I’m always going to want to act and be a storyteller. I can do that and then do what I have to to promote that, like making sure [I] look great, having a cute outfit, losing that baby weight.
“But when that is done, [I can] go home and completely turn that part of my life off. And that, to me, is very necessary.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jonathan Cheban reportedly has “diva demands” for his stint on ‘Celebs Go Dating’.
The 42-year-old PR guru – who is Kim Kardashian West’s best friend – is set to appear on the UK celebrity dating show, and has reportedly been irritating the show’s bosses by having “off the scale” demands including “the best suite going” in London’s five-star Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and a “private jet” to fly him home in between filming.
A source told MailOnline: “Jonathan’s diva demands have been off the scale. Production have been pulling their hair out trying to keep him satisfied.
“He’s become accustomed to a certain standard of living and has already kicked off about his accommodation while he’s filming the show.
“He wants to stay at the Mandarin Oriental in the best suite going. He’s demanded a private jet to fly him home to New York for three days because he’s homesick and misses Kim, his friends and his family.
“They just don’t know what to do with him to keep him happy!”
The news comes after it was previously reported that bosses at ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ retracted their offer to get the star to appear on their current series after similar reports of “diva demands”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bethenny Frankel’s ex-husband Jason Hoppy has been arrested.
The 46-year-old businessman has been charged with allegedly stalking and harassing his ex-wife, also 46, after he reportedly sent a series of abusive emails to the television personality before turning up at their six-year-old daughter Bryn’s school last week where he allegedly told Bethenny he would “destroy” her.
A spokesperson for the New York Police Department told the New York Post’s Page Six column: “The complainant said Hoppy had sent numerous emails and FaceTime calls numbering in the hundreds after a cease and desist letter was sent on November 22, 2016.
“On Friday, January 27, the suspect approached her and a friend at her child’s school at around 8:15 a.m. and tried to provoke a fight. He said, ‘I will destroy you, you can get all the lawyers you want, you’ve been warned.'”
According to the publication Jason has denied the charges, which amount to aggravated harassment in the first degree, harassment in the second degree, and stalking in the fourth degree.
The news comes after the ‘Real Housewives of New York’ star – who finalised her divorce from Jason last year after splitting in 2012 – admitted the laborious divorce ordeal left her “depressed”.
She said: “I was experiencing emotional distress and felt hopeless and a little bit, dare I say, depressed.
“I think that was surprising to women because I’m successful, I have a powerful personality and I was going through my own personal crisis.”
And the star claims she is still battling the “bad effects” of her divorce.
She said: “There are still some bad parts that I definitely thought would be gone.
“But the hardest parts have been anything that seems negative for my daughter. Anything that is unnecessarily negative for my daughter is really challenging for me.

OHMYGOSSIP — Dr. Luke has allegedly asked a judge to add defamation to his lawsuit against Kesha.
The 43-year-old record producer – real name Lukasz Gottwald – has been locked in a legal battle with the musician after she accused him of sexually abusing her, and now reportedly wants to add defamation to his lawsuit against her after she allegedly sent a text message to fellow musician Lady Gaga, claiming there was another alleged victim.
The text message in question, according to court documents obtained by New York Post’s Page Six column, claimed that Kesha “knew for a fact that another female recording artist had been raped by Dr. Luke.”
According to TMZ.com, Dr. Luke says the 29-year-old singer is “on a malicious campaign to destroy his reputation and career.”
Court filings made by the producer also claim “Kesha knew, or had reasons to know, her assertions to Lady Gaga were completely false” and that the ‘Tik Tok’ hitmaker is trying to “blacklist [Dr. Luke] from the music industry on the false premise of her victim status, and to influence others in the industry to boycott [him].”
Dr. Luke’s lawyer Christine Lepera told Page Six in a statement: “Dr. Luke seeks to add an additional defamation claim against Kesha based upon the discovery of another false and defamatory statement she made about him that was part of her calculated effort to harm his reputation and business.
“Kesha’s new proposed counterclaim simply repeats the meritless and untrue allegations that were set forth in her earlier pleadings and which Dr. Luke fully disputes.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Die Young’ singer recently revealed how the ongoing legal battle has left her “devastated”.
She said: “When you work really hard at something, then to have it taken away from you is pretty devastating. I worked my ass off for a lot of years to be able to do it.
“I sang backup vocals and the first couple songs I was on, I didn’t give a f**k because I just had this one vision. Once you earn that and make that happen, then to have it taken away from you is pretty devastating. It is definitely like a mind-f**k.”

Robert Kardashian lost his battle with oesophageal cancer when he was 59 years old, and his daughter Khloé – who was 19 at the time – has admitted she ballooned in size after she ate “literally everything” in order surpress her feelings.
Speaking to a woman named Lauren on an upcoming episode of her new show ‘Revenge Body with Khloé Kardashian’ – in which the blonde beauty mentors men and women to encourage them to reinvent themselves both inside and out – she said: “I know, to a degree, how you feel. My dad died in 2003. I was 19. And when it set in, I was like, you spiral. For me, my spiral was food.”
“I gained so much weight because I was so internally just suppressing so many things that it was like, eating me alive, and I was literally eating everything.
“We can’t let these tragic things ruin the rest of our lives.”
And whilst the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star admits that hardship forced her to gain weight, she also revealed recently that her divorce from Lamar Odom – which was finalised last year – helped her to shed the pounds.
Khloé – who filed for divorce from the basketball player in 2013 – said previously: “I really needed an outlet mentally.
“I started working out, and the clarity I received from that was so needed, and it was so therapeutic, and as a by-product I started losing weight.”
But Khloé insists that her new body is not just to “prove a point” and that she hopes to maintain her new physique.
She added: “I was like, ‘Oh, OK, I see a little definition somewhere. Let me try keep this up.
“Then I got a trainer, and a few months later, a nutritionist.
“My journey has been a long one, but it’s a lifestyle change.
“I’m not trying to lose 30 pounds in 30 days to prove a point.
“I want this to be for the rest of my life.”
