OHMYGOSSIP — Octavia Spencer has a “skunk party” problem.
The ‘Hidden Figures’ actress is being plagued by a group of the creatures that have taken residence in her garden and she can’t bear the stench of the animals.
She told Empire magazine: “Skunk is the worst [smell in the world]. They smell worse than sulphur and they love my backyard.
“There are five of them stinking it up. There’s some kind of skunk party going on at my house.”
But the 46-year-old actress isn’t a stranger to creating stenches of her own and once had a “bad bad” experience when she got sick after getting stuck into some cinema snacks.
Asked the strangest place she’s vomited, she said: “An elevator. I had a bad hot dog at a movie theatre. It was coming out of both ends.
“I thought I was going to make it home but I did not. It was a bad time. It was bad, bad, bad.”
When Octavia goes to the cinema, she refuses to leave until the end of the movie, even if she isn’t enjoying it.
She said: “I don’t [walk out]. If I’ve spent my money and bought my popcorn, you’ve got me.
“If people took the time to make it, then I’ll stick with it to the end.”
And the actress will drop everything if one of her favourite movies is on TV, even if it affects her other commitments.
She said: “There are three I’ve seen more than any other, ‘The Color Purple, ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ and ‘Driving Miss Daisy’.
“No matter when they’re on, I’m going to have to watch them and I’m going to be late.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West knew Kanye West was ‘The One’ the first time she spent the night at his house.
The couple – who have children North, three and Saint, 13 months, together – tied the knot in 2014 but Kim knew things were serious when she stayed over at his residence and Kanye made sure the heating was on for her.
She wrote on her website: “I love only hot rooms and hate when the air conditioning is on. I knew Kanye and I were meant to be when I slept over and he had the heat on.”
In the post on KimKardashianWest.com, the star revealed a list of 20 facts, that she said no one knew about her.
One included her weird sleeping habits and Kim also claimed that she is secretly hilarious.
She wrote: “I sleep with my eyes slightly open and it scares the s**t out of people. I’m secretly the funniest person, but only in my inner secret. The things I say are wild.”
And Kim also revealed that she once almost got kicked out of tennis camp, for kissing a boy.
She said: “I used to play tennis and went to tennis camp but almost got kicked out for kissing a boy. My dad came to yell at me.”
While Kim always looks picture perfect for the cameras, she revealed some beauty secrets that no one knows about.
She said: “I have a permanent retainer on my teeth inside that you can’t see,” and “I had a dark mole on my forehead that I had removed three times and it is skin coloured and everyone thinks it is a pimple.”
She also added some other facts, including: “I have six piercings — one bellybutton, one in right ear, three on my left and one really high on left ear. I have a freckle on my eyeball” and “I hate the sleeve on a Starbucks cup. I leave the room for someone to take it off for me because I cringe from the sound. It’s like nails on a chalkboard for me. I hate cardboard.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Reynolds says his daughter James is “infatuated” with her younger sister.
The ‘Deadpool’ star and his wife Blake Lively have children James, two and, Ines, who was born in September 2016, together, and Ryan says the best thing about fatherhood is seeing their close bond.
He said: “Just seeing my older daughter be so infatuated with our younger daughter, who’s four months old. Seeing her kiss her and hug her and hold her, it kinda crushed me. But would put anyone else to sleep.”
Speaking at the Hasty Pudding Theatricals 2017 Man of the Year award at Harvard University, Ryan also praised Jake Gyllenhaal for insisting that Ryan should have received an Oscar nomination for ‘Deadpool’.
He said: “It’s always generous for another actor, who’s in that conversation as well, to bring up someone else in that kind of light. But I wish I could say I’m surprised. But I’ve known Jake for a while and he’s one of the most talented and generous actors. I was pretty touched by that.”
Ryan, 40, works on both comedy and drama but admitted he loves the former because it “is everything”.
He explained: “It’s one of the greatest tools of social commentary. In the best of times it’s amazing. In the worst of times, it’s even better. For me, it’s a real shelter from the storm and I know it is for a lot of people too. I love smart comedy. I think its value is somewhat under-appreciated in the arts, but overall, I think it ain’t going anywhere.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Louisa Johnson wants a pet dolphin.
The 19-year-old singer has always paid for the care of the marine mammals and while she currently has an adopted creature in Scotland, she’s never been able to visit it so her dream would be to have one of her own.
Asked her ideal pet, she said: ” A dolphin. I just think they’re really sweet.
“I adopted one in Scotland so I’m close to owning one.
“It’s called Rainbow. I haven’t ever been to see it but I really want to. I’ve adopted dolphins since I was little.”
And Louisa is also desperate to get a dog but knows her busy career means it isn’t possible.
She told Top of the Pops magazine: “I want a French bulldog so badly but I can’t because I’m away so much.
“They’re so cute.”
As well as animals, the former ‘X Factor’ winner is smitten with her boyfriend Daniel Elliott and loves the romantic things he does for her.
She said: “I quite like the lovey-dovey, cringey stuff.
“I think a lot of people pretend not to but deep down we love it.
“For our first anniversary, my boyfriend wrote on the mirror all the things he loves about me and I thought it was the sweetest thing ever.”
The ‘So Good’ singer is always grateful for the support of her fans and loves being an inspiration to them.
She said: “They’re the best. Fans are always telling me they like how I stick up for myself and that it makes them want to be more confident, which I love. Everyone deserves that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Jessica Parker is uneasy with social media.
The 51-year-old actress – who has son James Wilkie, 14, and twin daughters Tabitha and Loretta, seven, with husband Matthew Broderick – is an avid user of picture-sharing site Instagram but admits she is unsure where her boundaries are and how much she actually wants to share and engage with the world online.
She said: “I’m not easy with [social media and technology] and I’m unclear of my own boundaries.
“I’m unclear of how much I want to engage and how to have it not be a personal experience and how to have conversations that I think are productive with people when they’re feeling anxious or angry or they’re wanting to say unfriendly things.”
And the ‘Divorce’ star feels conflicted about her son’s recent embracing of social media and worried he might do something he shouldn’t in order to fit in.
She told Red magazine: “I don’t know what to do… James has a phone for travelling to school, even though I travelled to school forever [without a phone] but we held off for longer than most parents.”
And after having it pointed out that parents never say “Little George is doing so well since I got him that iPhone”, she replied: “I know, but also Little George might get hurt. He might end up saying something that might not be kind and would hurt someone else.
“Maybe Little George will say something he isn’t inclined to say but he learns the language quickly and, like with other things, wants to be like his peers.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ruby Rose came out to her mother at 12.
The 30-year-old actress admitted she was worried to confess her sexuality to her mother but was shocked by the reaction.
Speaking on NBC’s ‘Sunday TODAY with Willie Geist’, she said: “That was a fine thing to do though. When I told her, she was like, ‘I know.’ She knew when I was six apparently. I was like, ‘Really, mom,’ I don’t even think I knew then. I didn’t think it was possible. Apparently it is and it makes sense.
“I was just worried because I didn’t know it was a thing. I knew how I felt and what I kind of identified as, but the words gay or lesbian… I didn’t know anyone else that was gay or a lesbian. So, I didn’t really know how to word it. So I was just like, ‘I think I should let you know that when I eventually get a boyfriend, there’ll be a girl.’ And she was just like, ‘I know.'”
Meanwhile, Ruby – who is currently dating The Veronicas’ Jess Origliasso – recently admitted she feels “empowered and strong” to be able to be open about her “healthy sex life” as she knows other people are unable to be due to cultural differences.
She said: “I’m very confident and in tune with my sexuality. I feel very blessed for that, because in different places around the world, people can’t be. I’m lucky I can explore.
“I have a very healthy sex life, and there’s something very empowering, strong, and feminist about being open and comfortable in that world.”
And the ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ actress said the idea of getting married is more important because of the equal rights example it sets, rather than the institution itself.
She explained: “According to the news, I’ve been engaged five times. For me, marriage is more about equal rights than the act of getting married.
“When you don’t have equal rights, it trickles down to kids who think, My aunt’s gay so she can’t get married, or I’m weird because I feel the same way. So it’s important to break down that barrier.
“I’m more interested in having a loving, healthy, long-term relationship with someone I might want to have kids with someday.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kesha is fighting back against cyberbullying.
The 29-year-old singer appears in a new Public Service Announcement for Hack Harassment, to raise awareness of the issues faced by people using the internet.
Explaining that the issue of online harassment is “near and dear to my heart”, Kesha added: “No one, regardless of their identity, background or beliefs, should be subjected to harassment online. I look forward to working with Hack Harassment and its partners to help raise awareness of this important issue in order to bring about more inclusive and safer online communities.”
Chris Loo, Director of Hack Harassment said: “We are very proud to partner with Kesha to develop and support this important PSA. By sharing her perspective on the widespread consequences of online harassment, Kesha is helping Hack Harassment raise additional awareness around a critically important issue so that we can reduce the severity and impact of harassment and abuse online.”
Meanwhile, Kesha, who has been involved in a very public feud with music producer Dr Luke over her contract after she accused him of sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally abusing her for a number of years, previously opened up about her battle with anxiety and depression and how she intends to “showcase her vulnerabilities” on her new album.
She said: “I’ve battled a lot of things, including anxiety and depression. Finding the strength to come forward about those things is not easy. But maybe, by telling my story, I can help someone else going through tough times … I’ve grown into an adult woman who knows the power of my voice …
“[My new songs] will showcase my vulnerabilities as a strength and not as a weakness. In the past, I always felt like I was trying to prove something. Now, I’m writing what I want to share with the world, rather than trying to give the world what it wants. For better or worse, I’m just me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Patton Oswalt says his wife died from a combination of prescription medications and an undiagnosed heart condition.
Michelle McNamara – who was married to the ‘Ratatouille’ star for 11 years – passed away in her sleep at their home in Los Angeles in April 2016 and he says officials from the coroner’s office have informed him of her cause of death.
He said in a statement: “We learned the combination of drugs in Michelle’s system, along with a condition we were unaware of, proved lethal.”
She was taking the medications Adderall, Xanax and Fentanyl and was unaware of her heart condition.
However, despite Patton’s statement, the Los Angeles coroner’s office insisted the cause of death is still listed as pending.
Michelle – who also left behind the couple’s daughter Alice – was the founder of the website True Crime Diary, which covers breaking stories and old unsolved crimes otherwise known as cold cases.
She started the website almost by chance, because she wanted to satisfy her own curiosity of unsolved crimes.
She said previously: “I wanted to get more involved in the cases that were fuelling my own curiosity.
“It’s the ones that really don’t get that much attention that interest me because I think what’s interesting about them is there’s more stuff to be unearthed that hasn’t been in the public yet and you can do it.”
Meanwhile, last year, Patton said getting back to stand-up comedy and sharing his grief with the audience was helping him to cope with his wife’s death.
He said: “I think it’s a way for me to – it feels like you’ve summoned this virus and you’ve become this avatar of loss – to de-summon it the more you talk openly about what it is and put more light onto it, people can see all the angles and say, ‘Oh, okay. That is horrible, but there’s life on either side of it and it’s somehow manageable.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rita Ora is thrilled that Beyoncé and Jay Z are expecting twins.
The ‘America’s Next Top Model’ host was previously signed to Jay Z’s record label and couldn’t be happier for her former boss and his wife, who already have five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy together.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Rita, 26, said: “I just think from woman to woman, there’s nothing better. It’s fantastic. I wish her nothing but the best for the family and for health and everything. They’re just bosses at what they do.
“Unfortunately, [I haven’t spoken to them]. I just wanted to congratulate them and all that. They must be getting their phones blowing up.”
Earlier this week, Beyoncé announced her pregnancy on Instagram.
She wrote: “We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. The Carters.”
While Rita spent months locked in a legal battle with Jay Z’s Roc Nation label last year, she didn’t hold a grudge after signing to Atlantic Records, as she still regards the ’99 Problems’ rapper as one of her “idols”, while she thinks of Beyoncé as “the queen of life”.
Discussing her inspirations, she said previously: “There are people I respect strictly for their hustling business purposes. Victoria Beckham for one. She’s an incredible inspiration and I love her stuff. And she came from the Spice Girls – major!

OHMYGOSSIP — Thomas Sadoski says Amanda Seyfried is already a great mom.
The 40-year-old actor and his 31-year-old fiancée are expecting their first child together and Thomas believes the unborn tot is lucky to have the ‘Ted 2’ actress as its mother.
Speaking to Harry Connick Jr on his chat show ‘Harry’, Thomas said: “I spend a lot of my time looking at this bump that’s growing inside of her and just thinking, like, looking and talking to that child and going, ‘You have no idea how lucky you are to have a mom like this’. She’s incredible. I couldn’t be more proud of her for who she is as a mom already.
“I’m more excited to be a father with Amanda as my partner than I’ve ever been about anything in my entire life.”
And although Thomas is excited about welcoming a child with Amanda, he admitted he is also extremely nervous.
He said: “I’m excited. I’m also terrified. I don’t know what’s coming down the pike. But I’m thrilled and terrified and all of the things I sort of feel like I should be. And I don’t have any clue what’s going to happen and I can’t wait.”
The pair are currently planning their wedding but both want an extremely “low-key” celebration.
He said: “Amanda and I are both really low-key. We don’t want, like, a big huge deal or anything. We want to make sure that it’s about us.”
And Amanda recently insisted she has no desire to wear a lavish gown for the nuptials.
She said: “I get to go to premieres and get dressed up all the time.
“I went to the Met Gala last year in a wedding gown designed by Riccardo Tisci; I’ve played a bride a billion times.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Little Mix were shocked by Camila Cabello’s decision to quit Fifth Harmony.
The British girl group couldn’t believe it when Camila decided to walk away from the chart-topping US band but insisted Fifth Harmony will still be a success without her.
Speaking on ‘The Zach Sang Show’, Jade Thirlwall said: “We were really shocked. We love Fifth Harmony. We think they’re a great group, and they still will be. They’re still four incredible performers and singers.”
Jesy Nelson added: “In life you just have to do what makes you happy. If [Camila] wasn’t happy, she wasn’t happy. They’ll continue without her and they’re amazing.
“Either way, with or without her, they’ll do incredibly well.”
However, Little Mix – which also features Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – insisted that they have no plans to split.
Jade said: “I find it terrifying the thought of not being with these girls,” and Perrie added: “We’re a force to be reckoned with.”
Meanwhile, Camila recently insisted “it’s all love” between her and Fifth Harmony.
The 19-year-old singer parted ways with her former band mates – Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui – last month in order to pursue a solo career, but has insisted there’s no bad blood between them.
Asked about what it has been like going solo during a promotional appearance in the UK, Camila said: “Obviously being here is incredible. It was incredible then, it’s going to be incredible now.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West wants her attackers punished.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star flew to New York this week to meet French police to assist with their enquiries after she was the victim of a robbery at gunpoint in Paris last October and although Kim hates going back over the details of her ordeal, she is determined to do everything she can to get justice.
A source told PEOPLE: “Kim spent a second day with Paris investigators for her robbery case. It’s mentally exhausting for her to rehash all the details of that awful morning, but she wants the people responsible to get punished.
“The robbery was traumatising for Kim. Even months later, it still affects her every day life. She wants to get some kind of closure. Kim can’t wait to get back to LA. She is just happy that she didn’t have to go to Paris.
Kim, who had an estimated $10 million of jewels stolen, including a $4 million diamond ring, was said to be “relieved” after a number of people were recently arrested in connection with the robbery.
However, it is thought Kim won’t get her belongings back as almost all of the stolen jewels were melted down.
Suspect Aomar Ait Khedache, 60, told police: “So that the jewels wouldn’t be recognised, we took a joint decision to melt them down. One of us took care of that … He came back with bars … Altogether there must have been a bit more than 800 grams …
“The jewels were shown on the internet, and [she said] that she didn’t wear fakes… the time she would arrive in France, you just had to look at the internet and you knew everything, absolutely everything. We had very precise information about her movements that we got from someone who was very close to her.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Frank Ocean’s father has called the star a “scam artist, a fraud and a hypocrite”.
The 29-year-old star is being sued by his dad Calvin Cooksey over a Tumblr post following the shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, in June last year, after he wrote: “I was 6 years old when I heard my dad call our transgender waitress a f****t as he dragged me out of a neighborhood diner saying we wouldn’t be served because she was dirty. (sic)”
Cooksey has denied the incident ever took place and has filed a $14.5 million defamation lawsuit against the star.
He told Rolling Stone in a statement that the Tumblr post is a “lie” and said: “The events that defendant describes on June 21st 2016, that I called a transgender waitress F****T NEVER HAPPENED … The defendant is a scam artist, a fraud and a hypocrite who deceive the LGBT community on June 21st, 2016 for the financial success of [Ocean’s album] Blonde (sic).”
He called the post a “publicity stunt in the wake of the Orlando attack” and said the star is “using his father as an instrument for personal connection in order to sell records”.
Cooksey believes his son’s accusation has undermined his ability to make money in the film and music businesses.
According to the lawsuit, Cooksey argues that “Frank was aware that his father [has] written a manuscript titled Part of the Game, which is a crime thriller and defendant and his mother are in the movie. The defendant has destroyed his father’s reputation so that his father can never get a deal or produce his father’s movie.”
The lawsuit also referenced Frank’s collaborator Tyler, the Creator, who was previously banned from the UK because of homophobic lyrics.
The suit states: “Frank knew that Tyler, the Creator had been banned from Australia and the United Kingdom for homophobic rap lyrics which could incite violence against LGBT members. Yet [he] still allowed … Tyler, the Creator to be a music producer on … ‘Blonde’. He attacked God’s scriptures as if God only sees homosexuality as a sin. Please see the Ten Commandments. Lying, stealing, lust and defendant’s favourite: disrespecting thy father.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Russell Brand hopes his daughter will “formulate” her own gender.
The 41-year-old British comedian has two-month-old Mabel with his fiancée Laura Gallacher and revealed that since she was born he has started to examine his own beliefs about gender.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’, he said: “Now that I have these very important women in my life [Mabel and fiancée Laura] I have re-evaluated the way I look at gender.
“I don’t have to dress her in feminine clothes, I don’t need to dress her in clothes for her gender, I’d rather just see how she formulates it herself.
“I’ve become quite sensitive and aware of that since she was born.”
Speaking about the decision to call his daughter Mabel, Russell said: “I stared at her for ages to make sure she looked like that name.
“You have to name their essence. Her essence was twinkling, sparkling, joyous. If she’d have had different sexual organs she wouldn’t have been Mabel obviously.”
Russell also revealed that he is a hands-on father but admitted that his life has changed dramatically since Mabel was born.
He said: “It’s an abrupt and sudden change. It’s like having a relative over to stay, but not a minor relative, like a distant uncle.
“There’s not an area of her life I’m not involved in. Sadly I’m unable to produce breast milk.”
Speaking before Mabel was born, Russell admitted he didn’t want to “impose a gender” on his child.
He said: “I’ve painted the room, I’ve done the things that you’re supposed to do, I’ve accepted the idea that that person will be more important than me. I’m thinking of calling him or her, we don’t know the gender. I may not even ever impose a gender upon it, let the child grow up and be the whatever the hell it is, never tell it there is such a concept.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Coldplay have become the patrons of a migrant and refugee charity.
The band – Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion – have thrown their support behind Malta-based search-and-rescue charity MOAS (Migrant Offshore Aid Station) and will work with the organisation on a long-term basis to aid its humanitarian work with migrants and refugees fleeing war and persecution in the Middle East.
Speaking about the cause, Chris said: “Every year MOAS rescue thousands of people who risk death at sea while searching for a better life. But for an accident of geography, those people could be us and we could be them. For this reason, we’re proud to support MOAS’ life-saving work.”
The announcement was made via a fundraising film called ‘Rescue Humanity’ which features the Coldplay frontman performing an a cappella version of Coldplay’s ‘Don’t Panic’ which is laid over real footage from a recent MOAS rescue which was filmed by artist Adam Broomberg.
MOAS was founded in 2014 and is a non-profit organisation that operates on the front line of the Mediterranean migration crisis.
The fundraising film aims to publicise the rescue efforts and show the fear, hope and anguish experienced by both the refugees and migrants.
Regina Catrambone, MOAS co-founder and director, said: “We are very grateful to Coldplay for believing so strongly in our cause. MOAS is a young organisation that in a few years has managed to make a significant difference in mitigating one of the most heart-breaking humanitarian tragedies of our era.
“However, there is still so much to be done. Coldplay’s support will allow our work to reach the hearts of a wider audience worldwide.”
MOAS has saved the lives of over 33,000 people to-date in the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas.
It is currently preparing for its 2017 mission, while continuing to advocate for the creation of safe and legal routes for people desperately seeking safety.

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Buble’s son Noah’s cancer treatment is “progressing well” and his prognosis his “very optimistic”.
The ‘Haven’t Met You Yet’ singer and his wife Luisana Lopilato have cancelled everything to aid their three-year-old boy Noah in his fight against the disease and so far the youngster has responded well to his treatment.
A statement released on behalf of Michael and Luisana said: “We are so grateful to report that our son Noah has been progressing well during his treatment and the doctors are very optimistic about the future for our little boy. He has been brave throughout and we continue to be inspired by his courage. We thank God for the strength he has given all of us.”
The couple – who married in 2001 and also have 13-month-old son Elias together – also took the opportunity to “thank the thousands of people” who have sent their best wishes to the family since little Noah was diagnosed.
The statement shared by their representative added: “Our gratitude to his doctors and caretakers cannot be put into words. We’d also like to thank the thousands of people that have sent their prayers and good wishes to us. As we continue this journey, we are greatly comforted by your support and love.”
As well as cancelling all of his planned concerts, Michael, 41, also pulled out of hosting the 2017 BRIT Awards which are being held at The O2 arena in London on February 22.
