Adele confirms marriage?

OHMYGOSSIP — Adele has confirmed she and Simon Konecki are married.
The ‘Hello’ hitmaker sparked rumours she and the charity boss had tied the knot over the festive period when she was seen sporting a gold band on her wedding finger, and when she picked up the Album of the Year Grammy for ’25’ on Sunday (12.02.17), she seemingly confirmed the news as she dedicated her win to her “husband” and their son, four-year-old Angelo.
She said: “Grammys, I appreciate it, the Academy, I love you, my manager, my husband and my son – you’re the only reason I do it.”
However, when speaking to reporters backstage, the 28-year-old singer referred to Simon as her “partner”.
It was previously reported the couple had planned to marry over Christmas so Simon’s nine-year-old daughter from a previous relationship could be there.
A source said: “The plan is to marry in Los Angeles. The wedding will be in one of the school holidays so Simon’s daughter can attend. It’s looking like it will be Christmas, but they want to keep details under wraps.
“Adele is not even wearing her engagement ring. They’re a private couple and only want their nearest and dearest there.”
The couple – who have been together for five years – got engaged in October during Adele’s world tour.
The ‘Skyfall’ hitmaker has decided to take a lengthy break from the music industry when she’s wrapped up trotting around the globe with her ‘Adele Live’ tour in March as she’d like to add another little one to her brood with Simon, 42.
As she closed the US leg of her tour in November, she told the audience: “I’ll see ya later, I’ll see ya on the other side. In a couple of years when I’ll be back, you won’t be able to get rid of me. I’m going to go and have a baby.”

Kylie Jenner's eye-kits 'prompt customer complaints'

OHMYGOSSIP — Customers of Kylie Jenner’s eye-kits have reportedly complained about the products causing chemical-induced headaches.
The 19-year-old reality star has turned her Kylie Cosmetics range into a major money-spinning venture, but not all of her customers are apparently happy with the products, with at least 15 consumers filing official complaints against the eye-kits on the grounds that they have caused them to feel unwell.
Over the last two weeks, customers have lodged their complaints with the Better Business Bureau, saying they smelled “chemicals and glue” when opening Kylie’s Royal Peach Eyeshadow Palette, according to TMZ.
Customers likened the odour to “spray paint” or “paint thinner”, according to the gossip website, which revealed that one consumer said it smelt so bad that she decided put the package outside her house.
Kylie Cosmetics has already launched an investigation into the complaints and has reportedly found that an adhesive in the packaging was causing the unpleasant smell.
However, the cosmetics firm insisted it is safe to use and it’s not been revealed whether it has decided to change the packaging.
Meanwhile, Australian pop star Kylie Minogue recently succeeded in her bid to stop Kylie from trademarking their shared first name.
The ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ hitmaker lodged legal paperwork to stop the reality star’s bid to obtain the rights to their moniker in February 2016, almost two years after the make-up guru had applied for the trademark.
And last week, it revealed that Jenner has had her application rejected.
But the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star is said to be launching an appeal against the verdict with the United States’ Patent and Trademark Office as she wants to use Kylie for her own fashion and beauty line.

Adele snaps Grammy

OHMYGOSSIP — Adele broke her Grammy award in half after picking up the coveted Album of the Year prize because she didn’t feel she deserved it.
The ‘Hello’ singer – who, along with the late David Bowie, was Sunday night’s (12.02.17) biggest winner after picking up five accolades – was stunned to accept the gong for her record ’25’ as she expected Beyonce to take it home for her visual LP ‘Lemonade’, so damaged the trophy deliberately in order to share the honour with her idol.
She broke down in tears on stage at Los Angeles’ Staples Center and said: “I can’t possibly accept this award.
“I’m very humbled and I’m very grateful and gracious, but my artist of my life is Beyoncé and this album to me, the ‘Lemonade’ album, was just so monumental.
“It was so monumental and so well thought-out and so beautiful and soul-baring. We all got to see another side to you that you don’t always let us see and we appreciate that. All us artists here adore you. You are our light!”
And speaking backstage after accepting the accolade, Adele admitted a piece of her had “died” when she realised she’d won.
She said: “A piece of me died inside. I felt like it was her time to win. What the f**k does she have to do to win album of the year?”

Stephen Fry's dig at Donald Trump?

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephen Fry appeared to make a dig at Donald Trump as he hosted the 70th British Academy Film Awards.
The 59-year-old presenter was praising Meryl Streep – who Trump recently branded “overrated” – when he quipped that only a “blithering idiot” would think she wasn’t one of the greatest actresses all time.
In his opening speech, he said: “She’s one of the greatest actresses of all time – only a blithering idiot would think otherwise.”
He then walked down the steps towards the nominees and the audience that had packed into London’s Royal Albert Hall, where he said: “Ms. Streep, it’s tradition here for me to garner a kiss from one of the nominees every year.”
Meryl happily placed a kiss on Stephen, telling him she was “so thrilled”, before he made his way back onstage.
He said: “Never in the field of conflict has my left cheek been so jealous of my right. Underrated is what I’d say.”
In her speech at the Golden Globes, Meryl slammed the US president and spoke of the importance of diversity.
She said: “Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners, and if you kick us all out, you’ll have nothing to watch except for football and mixed martial arts, which are not arts. But who are we, and what is Hollywood anyway? It’s just a bunch of people from other places …
“This instinct to humiliate, when it’s modelled by someone in the public platform, by someone powerful, it filters down into everybody’s life, because it kinda gives permission for other people to do the same thing. Disrespect invites disrespect, violence incites violence. And when the powerful use their position to bully others, we all lose.”
Her passionate speech was met with much praise from a number of celebrities including Viola Davis, Ellen DeGeneres and Zoe Saldana.

Nicole Kidman's risque dress

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman’s daughters wouldn’t have approved of her BAFTAs gown.
The 49-year-old actress stunned in a beautiful sparkly black dress as she posed for photos on the red carpet at the 70th British Academy Film Awards held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Sunday (12.02.17) but admits her daughters would have thought the low cut outfit was too risqué.
Speaking on the red carpet, she said: “It’s too low. If they’d had their say I wouldn’t have been allowed out in it because it’s low cut!
“They would have gone, ‘No, mum. That’s a rude dress.’ They like me more in dresses that make me look like a fairy or a princess.”
Meanwhile, Nicole – who has Faith, six, and Sunday, eight, with her spouse Keith Urban and Connor, 22, and Isabella, 24, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise – previously revealed she relies on her youngest children for style advice.
She said: “My kids were like, ‘Where are you going?’ I said, ‘To get a style award.’ They were like, ‘What?'”
Asked if she gives her kids advice on their outfits, she quipped back: “No! They give me it.”
And the blonde beauty has always loved fashion as her mother used to make all her clothes.
She revealed: “My mom made all my clothes when I was a little girl and then when I got bigger I suddenly had people like Lagerfeld and Tom Ford and Alexander McQueen and Galliano making clothes for me and I get to wear those extraordinary things. It’s kind of amazing. That’s like fairytale stuff right?
“It was a train wreck when I was 10, 11, 12 … But I was really into chill skirts and ankle boots and all that sort of stuff. So I think I’ve just evolved as I’ve grown up. And now I probably have a far more, I would say, classical style with a bit of a twist.”

Emma Stone jokes about working with Ryan Gosling

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Stone has jokingly complained “many times” about working with Ryan Gosling.
The ‘La La Land’ star quipped she had had enough of acting alongside her co-star as she walked the red carpet at the 70th British Academy Film Awards held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Sunday (12.02.17).
Interviewer Zoe Ball told her: “This is the third time you’ve been forced into a romantic role with Ryan Gosling. I think you should perhaps complain to your union!”
To which she joked back: “Oh I have! Many times! It seems like no one’s listening!”
And Emma admits she felt “a lot of pressure” to get her part in the movie perfect but says that is part of what made it so “fun”.
She shared: “There was a lot of pressure with that movie but that is what makes it exciting.
“It was ambitious and challenging but that’s part of the fun of getting to do this movie.”
Meanwhile, Emma – who has already won or been nominated for a number of awards for her part in the critically acclaimed musical – previously admitted that she enjoyed sharing her “traumatic audition” experience on the set of ‘La La Land’.
She said: “With ‘Birdman’, my character was outside the actor’s mind really – she was just his daughter, not totally involved in that world. But with ‘La La Land’, I had a little more trepidation playing an actress in Los Angeles who was auditioning over and over. It’s pretty close to my exact appearance when I first moved there. It was scary – like, is this going to be too much? But then it quickly became fun because we were all sharing horror stories and dramatising our little traumatic auditions.”

Naomie Harris' tough role

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomie Harris found her role in ‘Moonlight’ very “tough”.
The 40-year-old actress stars as addict Paula in the critically acclaimed movie but admits it was tricky for her as she had to put her usual “health nut” persona aside to play a character who was “completely different” from herself.
Speaking on the red carpet at the 70th British Academy Film Awards held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Sunday (12.02.17), she said: “It was completely different for me because I’m this health nut and she’s an addict who goes to the deepest darkest places of despair so it was a tough role to find for sure.”
And Naomie praised the film’s director Barry Jenkins for helping her get into character so quickly as she only had three days to shoot the movie.
She shared: “The hilarious thing about it is that we finished early on two of those days so we managed to get everything in and he made me feel not rushed and he made me feel as though it was completely possible.
“Now I look back at the movie and I think, ‘Oh my gosh how did we do that in three days because obviously, I age 15 years and there’s a lot to cover.”
Naomie was also impressed by her co-star’s acting skills including that of 12-year-old Alex Hibbert.
She said: “Most of them haven’t really acted much at all and Alex Hibbert, he’s only 12-years-old and he’s never acted before and he was phenomenal in the movie and I think that’s a testimony to what a brilliant director Barry is.”
Meanwhile, Barry praised Naomie for doing such an “amazing job” despite having a limited amount of time on set.
Speaking on the red carpet, he said: “You do what you must and she did an amazing job. If we had her for 10 days, I think the work would still be the same.”

Viola Davis 'always surprised' by award show invites

OHMYGOSSIP — Viola Davis is “always surprised” to be invited to award ceremonies.
The ‘Fences’ star admits she sometimes finds it hard to believe that she has been asked to attend so many award shows despite winning a Golden Globe earlier this year and being nominated for an Oscar, a BAFTA amongst others.
Speaking on the red carpet at the 70th British Academy Film Awards held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, she said: “I’m the girl on the carpet that’s tense. [I’m] with the good looking husband. I’m great …
“I always feel when I come to London, though, that I feel like I’ve been invited to the best party. I’m always surprised when I’m invited to this party. This is something I never thought I would be invited to and I am.”
And the 51-year-old actress – who looked stunning in a beautiful blue gown at the event – hasn’t been able to tap her co-star Denzel Washington for advice as he always takes a very chilled approach to these events.
She added: “Denzel never has any messages. He’ll just say, ‘Where are you going?’ And I’ll say, ‘I’m going to the BAFTAs’ and he’ll say, ‘Have fun!'”
And Viola – who supported her friend Meryl Streep when she used her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes to slam Donald Trump – would love to see someone make an impassioned speech about a cause they believe in at Sunday night’s (12.02.17) event.
She said: “I feel like it’s everyone’s duty and privilege to speak out against anything they feel like it’s a political injustice.”
Meanwhile, Viola previously revealed Meryl had warned her that her Golden Globes speech would annoy some people.
She said: “She told me she was going to p**s off some people of so I was bracing for impact. I love it! …
“She’s earned the right to say that and I think all of us felt a sigh of relief. Sometimes you need the first person to dive in there and have the courage and the bravery to give a mouthpiece to what we were all feeling. We all know that we are in the midst of change but I think that we as artists are really given permission to give ideas and what people are feeling a voice. At the end of the day, we do what we do to remind people to connect, that we are all in it together.”

Amy Adams 'seduced' into Nocturnal Animals role

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Adams was “seduced” into signing up to ‘Nocturnal Animals’ by Tom Ford.
The 42-year-old actress was impressed with the film’s script when she first read it but made her mind up to sign on to the movie after a lengthy chat with the movie’s director.
Asked what attracted her to the role as she walked the red carpet at the 70th British Academy Film Awards held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Sunday (12.02.17), she said: “Initially it was the script; I haven’t played a character like this.
“But when I talked to Tom, the way that he described this character and the world he wanted to create just was so seductive to me. Tom’s very seductive if you talk to him! Also, I just love the story of regret and the choices we make in our lives and where it leads us.”
Meanwhile, Amy – who has Aviana, six, with her husband Darren Le Gallo – previously admitted she believes she owes her acting career to being a redhead.
She said: “Based on roles that I was getting, called in for, people were responding to certain types of characters with me as a blonde and the minute I went red, it was quirky and fun instead of flirtatious and dumb.”
Explaining why she had to dye her locks, she added: “I played a nurse and there was this beautiful blonde, Sarah Lancaster, who was cast as the casino dealer. I’m in a room with her, and they said, ‘Someone’s going to have to change their hair colour.’
“She’s tan with these beautiful lioness green eyes and this mane of blonde hair. And I looked at her and me, with my pale freckles, and thought, Gee, I wonder which one of us is going to go red!
“It was great, I liked that. But in all seriousness, it’s just hair colour. It was really fascinating to see just one element of yourself change people’s perception and that became a very powerful tool for me even in my acting.”

Jesy Nelson's steep learning curve

OHMYGOSSIP — Jesy Nelson has “learned a lot about” herself since splitting from Jake Roche.
The Little Mix star and the Rixton singer called time on their romance late last year and Jesy is “loving” single life.
She said: “I’m free, single and loving life. I’d really like to experience flirting with an American guy. That would be nice …
“I’ve found a lot of independence. I think you learn a lot more about yourself when you’re single.”
The girl group – which also includes Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – are about to join Ariana Grande on her Dangerous Woman tour in the United States and Jade thinks the singer will have it easier when they all jet to the US.
She added to the Sunday People newspaper: “You’re in different states, so if it doesn’t go your way, you’re like, ‘Oh well, I’ll never see you again.”
Meanwhile, Jake’s mother Coleen Nolan confirmed the couple had gone their separate ways but insisted they had remained “amicable”.
She said: “With Jake and Jesy when they first got engaged, instantly all the press – everyone was asking me, ‘When’s the wedding?’ There’s so much pressure on relationships.”
Asked if they had officially split up, she added: “Yeah. But it’s kind of amicable and they’re dealing with it really well and they’re both good friends. It’s a lot to handle when you are young.”
The news of the couple’s break up is said to have “upset” their family at the time.
A source said: “Both Jake and Jesy’s families have been left reeling from the split and everyone is terribly upset by it. At the end of the day, they just want them both to be happy and if that means they’re apart then so be it …
“They’re both young and they could work it out in the future. They had a great time together and have a lot of happy memories. You can never say never.”

Halle Berry: My failed marriages made me feel 'so guilty'

OHMYGOSSIP — Halle Berry’s failed marriages made her feel “so guilty”.
The ‘Extant’ star – who has been divorced three times – admits she has “suffered a lot of pain and anguish” as a result of her splits from Olivier Martinez, Eric Benét and David Justice.
She said: “I have learned to deal with three failed marriages, which has not been easy, especially when there’s children involved. [As] women, we go into marriage thinking it’s going to last forever and that this is our prince on a shiny horse.
“That’s what fairytales taught me as a kid … and I’m kind of anti-fairytales today. But we go in there with that hope, so when it falls apart it feels like a huge failure and a huge disappointment. I’ve often felt guilty and responsible. I’ve suffered a lot of pain and anguish.”
And whilst each split has been tough on the 50-year-old actress – who has Nahla, eight, with her ex-partner Gabriel Aubry and Maceo, three, with her former spouse Olivier – she feels it has taught her a lot about herself.
Speaking in a Q & A at the City Summit event in Los Angeles on Saturday (11.02.17), she added: “In every one of those situations, as hard – and sometimes embarrassing – as it was, I learned so much about myself.
“All of those relationships were necessary for me. We all come here with lessons that we have to learn and those relationships provided me with lessons that got me to where I am right now. For that, I’m grateful. But it has been hard. It’s been a difficult part of my life.”
Meanwhile, Halle previously admitted she is feeling happier than ever following her split from Olivier.
She explained: “I just feel happy, you know? I’ve arrived at a really good place once again, that’s always good news. Down time, dark times, don’t last forever – the sun is out again and it feels great.”

Jack Whitehall at the SSE Arena: I auditioned to be Robert Pattinson's disabled brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Whitehall once auditioned to play the part of Robert Pattinson’s disabled brother.
The ‘Fresh Meat’ star and ‘Twilight’ actor were students together at Tower House School in South West London and the comedian joked that their boyhood rivally followed him into adulthood.
Speaking on stage at the SSE Arena in London, during his ‘Jack Whitehall At Large’ tour on Saturday night (11.02.17), he said: “It’s true… I walked into the room in front of this big Hollywood producer and (he stutters) I was nervous and I said, ‘I don’t know what you want me to do, how disabled do you want me to be’ and he said ‘What you’re doing right now is just fine.’
“I didn’t get the part.”
Jack added: “The main reason I hate Robert is when I was at school I thought ‘I’m rubbish at sport, I’m rubbish at science, so I’ll do Drama’.
“For every play I auditioned for I learned all of my lines, I gave it my all. And every single play Robert Pattinson got cast in the lead role and I was cast as villager number six.”
Elsewhere, the 29-year-old comedian reeled off jokes about being “a fully, paid up member of the posh twat society” who can’t “shop at Waitrose anymore” because he’s an ambassador for Asda, and confessed he “sweats like Donald Trump in a Mosque” when he thinks about getting married and having kids.
Jack opened with a comic video sketch that featured a string of his showbiz associates, including James Corden, David Walliams, Freddie Flintoff and retired athlete and British sporting legend Kriss Akabusi and was supported by his pal and northern comedian Lloyd Griffith, who had the 12,500 strong crowd in the SSE Arena in stitches and surprised the auditorium when he sang like Luciano Pavorotti.
Jack continues his tour at the SSE Arena tonight (12.02.17) and Monday.

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson had holes in mouth from cocaine abuse

OHMYGOSSIP — Tara Palmer-Tomkinson had holes in her mouth caused by years of cocaine abuse.
The 45-year-old socialite, who was found dead at her home by her cleaner on Wednesday (08.02.17), struggled to eat and found it difficult to sleep as a result of continuously taking the class A drug.
Speaking about the notorius party girl’s state of health before she died, her close pal Henry Conway told The Sun newspaper: “If she skied, she skied at a million miles per hour and she partied with the same Olympic vigour. After her nose had collapsed, she developed holes in her mouth and she had a lot of problems eating.
“She wasn’t sleeping very well either, and she had become quite agoraphobic. This was the girl who used to go out seven days a week. She was clean from drugs, but she seemed to be fighting a constant battle. Yet she was searching for some kind of deep affection.”
Weeks before she died, Tara – who was the goddaughter of Prince Charles – visited her friend Kirsty Shaw-Rayner in hospital and appeared “very, very skinny” and spoke candidly about her own death.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “Tara didn’t look well at all, she was very, very skinny and there was clearly something not right but she was being incredibly brave and putting others before herself.
“There was only one moment when she was talking about her life and she said: ‘Death comes to all of us, I’ve accepted that. It’s all about the journey you choose to take. That’s the only thing you can control’.”
Despite her personal problems, she refused to lean on friends for support and turned to alternative therapies instead.
The source continued: “Towards the end she had a lot of self hate and anxiety. She got it into her head that people had been using her.
“Everyone wanted to be part of the Tara party and when she realised some people were using her, that was very harsh.
The realisation she was growing up hit her hard. She didn’t get married or have children, which was very sad. She was turning to these therapies for support.
They added: “She didn’t want to be a burden to pals so she turned to alternative therapists and in the last couple of months she was in touch with a spiritual healer and a pyschic.”
Tara’s family confirmed the star died “peacefully in her sleep” in a death notice posted by her relatives in the Daily Telegraph newspaper.
The statement added that a private funeral will be held for Tara in due course.

Katie Price 'rock bottom' after she downed booze and stripped at corporate party

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Price “hit rock bottom” and felt “so much shame” last year.
The 38-year-old star and her ex-boyfriend Dane Bowers were paid £13,000 to appear at EnergySave’s Christmas party, where she ended up wearing just a thong and knee-high leather boots in the toilets after she guzzled booze and she’s now admitted she was going through a dark period in her life.
Katie – who called herself Jordan in her glamour model days – said: “Everything was good up until last year when I hit rock, rock bottom…. I was going out and getting into DJ boxes and singing on my own. People made fun of me but I was in my own little world and no one could see the suffering inside.
“When I saw the footage of me at the corporate event I was mortified. Do people think I enjoy that? Time and time again, I’ve made a fool of myself. There is so much shame.”
Katie admitted she got depressed during that time and wanted to “disappear” and thinks the pressure of being the breadwinner in her family got the better of her.
The mother-of-five – who is married to Kieran Hayler – said: “I went through the blackest mood of my life last year. I couldn’t see the point of getting up in the morning.
“For the first time in my life time seemed to slow down and I didn’t feel like going on.
“Nothing could motivate me and I wanted to just curl up in a ball and disappear.
“For no reason I would burst into tears and everything felt so pointless.’
“Some days all I want to do is sleep or lie on the sofa. There’s no ‘oomph’.
“I’ve always supported myself and earned a lot of money but sometimes the pressure is too much. I’m trying not to dwell on the past but I feel numb inside.”
Meanwhile, the reality star had her eighth boob job last year and admitted she is “sick to death” of the procedure but has vowed to use botox to fight the effects of ageing.
She added to The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “I am sick to death of surgery. I’ve had so many anaesthetics, taken so many painkillers. I’m sick of operating tables. I will always have Botox and lip-filler.
“People think I want to be glamorous all the time but it doesn’t match up with the real me. I keep telling myself, ‘Leave your body alone’.”

Fadi Fawaz 'banned' from George Michael's funeral

OHMYGOSSIP — Fadi Fawaz has been banned from attending George Michael’s funeral.
The music icon’s 43-year-old lover was the one who found him dead at his home on Christmas Day (25.12.16) but the star’s family “hate him” and he won’t be welcome to pay his respects at the ceremony when George is finally buried.
The singer’s cousin Andros Georgiou revealed: “Heaven help him if he turned up. Fadi has not been invited to the funeral. The family hate him.”
The ‘Carelss Whisper’ hitmaker’s funeral is on hold until the coroner releases his body but all the details have been planned, including George’s burial attire.
Andros told The Sun newspaper: “The clothes have been chosen and it will be his favourite black suit and shirt from the ‘Symphonica’ tour, with no tie.
“He will also be dressed in a gold Cartier watch and the ring with Yog on it. The family have all discussed it and the outfit has been arranged and we have the clothes.”
The star’s relatives have now arrived from Greece for the ceremony and Andros admitted that he “can’t bear” the thought of George’s body lying in a freezer while they wait but he’ll be “devastated” whe he is finally forced to say goodbye to George.
He added: “It will be a small and secret affair, with possibly less than 50 people. The hope is that George is in the ground before people find out about the funeral.
“It’ll mostly be family and a few close friends. George’s sisters Melanie and Yioda are doing the lists.
“Loads of members of George’s Greek family are over, waiting for it to happen. We are just waiting for the body. At the moment it’s basically lying in a fridge, which is a thought I can’t bear.
“I have to say goodbye, though I can’t even imagine it. I’ll be devastated, it will be heartbreaking.”
