OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Affleck has completed a stint in rehab for alcohol addiction.
The ‘Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ star took to social media on Tuesday (14.03.17), where he revealed he had undergone treatment for alcohol addiction so he can focus on being the “best father he can be”.
In an honest Facebook post, he wrote: “I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I’ve dealt with in the past and will continue to confront. I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be.
“I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step.”
And the 44-year-old actor – who has Violet, 11, Seraphina, eight and Samuel, five, with his estranged wife Jennifer Garner – went on to admit he felt “lucky” to have his family and friends as well as ex Jennifer.
He added: “I’m lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do. This was the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery.”
Meanwhile, a source previously claimed Jennifer and Ben are “die-hard committed to co-parenting”.
A source said: “They have maintained such a strong and beautiful united front to stay lovely and classy towards each other for their kids. They spend so much time working on their relationship – whether it’s a friendship or anything – for their kids …
“Their friendship is there. They are so die-hard committed to co-parenting. Whatever form this relationship is, they’ll always have love for each other, and the love they have for their kids is so strong, they won’t let anything bring that down.
“They both have done things they’re not proud of and in no way was Ben a shining husband, but there are a lot of things that go into a marriage and a split. They put together their plans and goals, in terms of their friendship and their relationship, and they’re doing just that. Whatever this new normal that they created for their family is, they’re doing it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Lee Curtis adopted a dog to combat her lonely feelings.
The ‘Scream Queens’ star has been keeping large rescue dogs for three decades but decided to adopt little Runi – a one-year-old terrier-poodle mix – when her children flew the nest.
She said: “I have missed a small, warm connection. Both my children are adults – my daughter’s 30, my son is 21. I’m married 32 years. I’m alone a lot of the day.
“And I realised I had this very emotional response to wanting another connection dog that was mine, who was my dog.”
And the 58-year-old actress – who has Annie, 30, and Thomas, 21, with her husband Christopher Guest – says Runi is already part of the family.
She added to People magazine: “I had a small white dog that I rescued 35 years ago. His name was Clark the No Bark Dog and he looked very much like Runi. My criteria were small, because I didn’t want another big dog, soft, because I am super tactile, and quiet.
“He’s just been so unbelievably sweet and loving. You give love, you give care and warmth, tenderness, fun, toys, safety, and they give love. It is that connection. It is this reciprocity of love.”
Meanwhile, Jamie previously claimed Hollywood is “a very cruel business.”
She said: “It’s a very cruel business. It’s humiliating to see the media frenzy that occurs when somebody gets older and they don’t look the way they used to look. I want to make sure I leave on my own terms. I don’t want to be punished for the natural evolution of the human being.
“[My father] used to walk into a restaurant and preen and pose. The public attention was very important; I don’t need it. I’m recognisable, sure. But I have a quiet life.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne Hathaway doesn’t think Hollywood is a “place of equality”.
The ‘Dark Knight Rises’ star insists she isn’t “angry” about how the industry treats women in comparison to men and enjoyed working on the female-led ‘Ocean’s Eight’.
She told the April issue of ELLE magazine: “Hollywood is not a place of equality. I don’t say that with anger or judgment; it’s a statistical fact. And even though I’ve been in some female-centric films, I’ve never been in a film like this. It [‘Ocean’s Eight’] just kind of makes you aware of the ways you sort of unconsciously change yourself to fit certain scenarios.
“It’s not better or worse … or right or wrong, but there are certain things you understand about one another because of experiences you have in common … it’s probably easy for men to take that for granted. Just being on a set where I’m the one who possesses that ease is really something. It’s a nice alternative narrative.”
Meanwhile, Anne previously admitted she thinks ‘Ocean’s Eight’ has become a “statement” because of its all-female cast.
She explained: “When I’m a second or a third lead in a film – usually the first and second leads are men – my character doesn’t feel political. But when I’m number one on the call sheet, it suddenly becomes a ‘woman’s story’ and it’s a statement.
“That’s the moment that we’re in. In this movie, there are eight women starring, so it may well attract that sort of attention … But good luck to any person who tries to take on Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett because you’re not going to win.”
And Anne – who welcomed son Jonathan into the world 11 months ago with her husband Adam Schulman – was thrilled when she found out the film set would be family friendly.
She added: “I only have one experience so far, and it’s a movie that stars eight women, four of whom are mothers – which is definitely not the norm.
“On ‘Ocean’s Eight’, kids were welcome on the set. [Before we started] I got an email from Sandra Bullock saying, ‘Hey, listen, we’re going to make this a really welcoming place for kids. I know you’re a brand-new mom, so don’t be afraid to bring your son. We love kids here.’
“Change is going to come, but it’s going to take people like her with the power to make change to demand it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chance The Rapper wants to move back in with his parents.
The ‘Cocoa Butter Kisses’ hitmaker – who recently triumphed at the Grammys, winning three awards including Best Rap Album – is considering moving back in with his parents Lisa and Ken.
He said: “I’m in a unique position [with] a lot of the things you would think you would get past because of the ‘successes’ that I’ve had. Like, I’m honestly, in real life, thinking about moving in with my parents right now. I think, anybody, if they were in my position – if they were 23 with a kid for the first time and were working – they would find comfort in being able to stay with their parents. If their parents are willing. I guess that’s just what it all comes down to; if they’re willing.
“I’m in a position where I want to be closer to my parents now, because I realise how important that is. There was never a point, ever, in my life where I can remember loving someone as much or more than I love my mom until I met my daughter. So, it made me understand that my mom loves me more than she loves anybody in the world, and that’s crazy to me. So of course I wanna be around her.”
And being a father to daughter Kinsley has made him realise how important his parents are.
He added to Complex magazine: “Well, I have the world’s best dad currently. Most of the stuff that he showed me has been his dedication, his time management, his commitment to being truthful.
“It’s all about what he’s instilled in me. So, I wanna have the type of relationship where I’m a trusted figure beyond a dad. I wanna be a good friend and a good example … My mom and dad have always been really close to me and very hands-on with everything that I’ve done. Good people.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloe Kardashian held a gold-themed birthday party for Tristan Thompson.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star marked her boyfriend’s 26th birthday on March 13 with a lavish get-together, decorating the kitchen and living room with gold-themed balloons and streamers.
There were chocolate bars wrapped in golden foil on a table sprinkled with golden glitter whilst photos of the basketball star with Khloe and his pals adorned the table and walls.
Guests were also treated to a slice of the golden birthday cake, with the table it was placed on decorated with huge floral arrangements.
Meanwhile, Khloe’s friend Malika Haqq previously opened up about how her pal is “unbelievably happy” with Tristan.
She said: “She is so unbelievably happy and I couldn’t be happier for her. [She’s doing] amazing.”
And Malika also revealed Khloe would be missing out on her birthday celebrations because she was spending Tristan’s birthday with him.
She added: “My real goal is to celebrate my birthday every year somewhere where I haven’t been, so it starts this year. It’s a complete girls’ trip to the Dominican Republic. Khloé is not going to make it. Her boyfriend’s birthday is actually March 13, so she will be with him, but we are going to connect and celebrate together.”
And Khloe recently opened up about how “serious” things are getting between them.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Cannon got Tyra Banks flowers to celebrate her hosting duties on ‘America’s Got Talent’.
The 36-year-old star stepped down as host of the talent show after finding out executives had “threatened him with termination” for a joke he made on a comedy special but is thrilled to see the former ‘America’s Next Top Model’ presenter has been signed up as his replacement.
Taking to Twitter, Tyra uploaded a photograph of the flowers, with a note, which read: “Tyra, congratulations and good luck on AGT! Love Nick C. (sic)”
And captioning the picture, she wrote: “Made me smile, @NickCannon. (sic)”
Meanwhile, Nick previously insisted his decision to quit the show was “calculated” and not emotional.
He said: “When people start to put restraints on my creativity, as an artist, I just have to stand on my square and stand for something. I’ve never operated for monetary gain. Money isn’t one of the things that moves me or inspires me.
“I love [money]. I embrace it the way everyone else does on this planet, but I don’t make decisions based off of it. [The decision wasn’t emotional;] everything I do is calculated.
“I feel like change is growth. I wish everyone the best. I wish all the new people involved the best. I wish the brand to continue to flourish. I’ve got love for the network, I’ve got love for the production, and I feel like I’m growing as an artist, and as a human being, to bigger and better things.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie was “feeling butterflies” ahead of her lecture at London’s School of Economics.
The ‘Maleficient’ star visited the Centre for Women, Peace and Security on Tuesday (14.03.17) to talk to students about her work and her experience with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and as the co-founder of the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative.
Angelina told London’s Evening Standard newspaper: “I’m a little nervous, feeling butterflies. I hope I do well. This is very important to me.”
A spokesperson from LSE added: “Angelina Jolie spoke to a class of students taking the postgraduate course ‘Women, Peace and Security,’ as part of her role as visiting professor in practice in the Centre for Women, Peace and Security.
“Miss Jolie spoke about her experience and what has motivated her work as UNHCR special envoy and as co-founder of the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative, and took questions from the class.”
Meanwhile, Angelina previously launched the one-year MSc course on women, peace and security, which will formally start at the beginning of the 2017 academic year, alongside Britain’s former foreign secretary, William Hague.
She said: “I am very encouraged by the creation of this master’s program. I hope other academic institutions will follow this example, as it is vital that we broaden the discussion on how to advance women’s rights and end impunity for crimes that disproportionately affect women, such as sexual violence in conflict. I am looking forward to teaching and to learning from the students as well as to sharing my own experiences of working alongside governments and the United Nations.”
The course will “develop strategies to promote gender equality and enhance women’s economic, social and political participation and security” with Angelina making appearances “as often as her schedules, and her commitment as agreed with the director, will allow”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne Hathaway’s marriage has “changed” her.
The ‘Devil Wears Prada’ star has credited her husband Adam Shulman – who she tied the knot with five years ago – for “changing her ability to be in the world comfortably”.
She said: “He changed my ability to be in the world comfortably. I think the accepted narrative now is that we, as women, don’t need anybody. But I need my husband. His unique and specific love has changed me.”
And the 34-year-old actress – who has 11-month-old son Jonathan with Adam – also branded mommy guilt as “invented nonsense”.
Speaking about paid parental leave in the United States, she added to the April issue of ELLE magazine: “I can’t believe we don’t already have it. When [my son] Johnny was a week old and I was holding him and I was in the ninth level of ecstasy, I just all of a sudden thought, ‘Mommy guilt is invented nonsense.’
“We’re encouraged to judge each other, but we should be turning our focus to the people and institutions who should be supporting us and currently aren’t.”
Meanwhile, it was previously claimed that Anne is “enjoying every second” of parenthood.
A source said: “Anne is just enjoying every second with her baby boy. They are loving every minute being new parents. He is such a sweet and happy baby. He looks like a mixture between Anne and Adam. Adam has been such a great husband and really supportive to Anne.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran has purchased a house in Italy.
The ‘Shape of You’ hitmaker has snapped up a holiday home in an idyllic spot in the European country where he plans to take time out from his career with his girlfriend Cherry Sea, family and friends.
Ed – who also homes properties in London and Suffolk, the English county where he was raised – is keeping the location top secret but has spilled the reason he is starting his ‘Divide Tour’ in Turin on March 16 is so he can spend a couple of days in his new home.
Speaking to Vanity Fair Italy magazine, he said: “I just bought a property in Italy. I don’t want to say where it is, but it’s a beautiful place. My tour is going to start in Italy because I want to spend some time in my new property there.”
Ed spent most of 2016 travelling around the world with Cherry, visiting places like Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Iceland as he enjoyed a well-earned rest from touring.
The ‘Galway Girl’ singer appreciates nature and the simplicity of living in the countryside which is why he’s got a property in leafy Suffolk and now in Italy.
And Ed admits his dream is to live in the countryside permanently with a wife and kids.
He shared: “This is my idea of happiness; living in the countryside, having a multitude of children always around me and my wife by my side. Writing songs every day and then going to pick up my kids at school … I’m ready [to be a dad], but then it’s not me who have to carry a baby in the belly for nine months, so it’s not just up to me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jesse James has no regrets about his marriage to Sandra Bullock.
The 47-year-old Texas gun shop owner has candidly spoken about being unfaithful multiple times to the 52-year-old actress – who he was married to for five years from 2005 to 2010 – but apart from not seeing their adopted son, Louis, he’s not been fazed by their break-up because he has found his soul mate in his 39-year-old American drag racer wife, Alexis DeJoria.
In an interview with DailyMail.com, he admitted; “Yeah I did cheat on my life, yeah, I stood up and took accountability for it and apologised. And that’s the end of the story. Everything else was just … [shakes head].
“The easy [put down] is like, oh well you cheated on Sandra Bullock. That’s the world’s easiest comeback.
“In general, both women and men cheat. It’s part of life.
“It’s like people love to see you fail. And the farther you get, the higher you get, the more they love it.”
Jesse found it hard to hold back and not hit out at paparazzi for invading his privacy when they went through the nasty divorce in 2010 in the midst of adopting Louis in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He explained: “I look at myself now and I look at how I was feeling then, and I think I was completely overreacting as far as letting it really get to me.
“I think I was having 50 or 60 or paparazzi outside my house for five or six months … That was not a good feeling. I’m a fighter man, I come from the tradition of – if you do something I don’t like, I’m going to punch you.
“There’s no lawsuits, nothing we’re just going to fight it out. It’s hard for me to bite my cheeks and not say anything and just look down.”
However, he says the end of his marriage with Sandra allowed him to focus on being a better father to his children, daughters Sunny and Chandler and his son Jesse James Jr. from previous marriages.
He added: “You learn what’s important – that that whole fame thing is not really …. it’s meaningless when your quality of life goes to zero.
“A lot of good happened out of [the end of his marriage] because it helped me focus on being a dad more, it helped me focus on doing the right thing and being myself, and getting out of Los Angeles and getting a better life for my kids.”
Jesse looks back on his relationship with Sandra, his first wife Karla James, whom he was married to from 1991 to 2002 and second wife Janine Lindemulder, who he split from in 2004 after just two years of marriage, and feels like an “idiot” because he knew none of the relationships would have worked out in the end.
On his relationship with Alexis, he added: “It’s just a different deal this time and it just happened.
“I was like, I’m just going to be that old dude who’s single now and never find anybody else, and then it’s like – there she is.
“We like the same stuff, the same music, the same everything.
“We like all these things. It makes me look back at other relationships and be like, I was an idiot! What was I thinking? That was never going to work. But I guess that’s how you learn, you know?”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel B is “thankful” she got to tell her late father she loved him before he died.
The 41-year-old singer has paid tribute to her parent Martin Brown almost 10 days after he lost his five-year battle to cancer aged 63, and shared her gratitude at being able to spend time with her dad before he tragically passed away.
The former Spice Girls singer – who has daughters Madison, five, Angel, nine, and Phoenix, 18 – shared a photograph of a colourful arrangement of flowers, cards and a candle on her Instagram account, which she captioned with a heartfelt message.
She wrote: “Thank you for everyone’s kind gestures and words of support it really does mean a lot,if anyone wants to donate to st Gemmas hospice in leeds pls feel free to do so they took such great care of my dad in his last few days on this earth,but I no he is in a better place now and I’m thankful phoenix and I got to hug him tell him how much we love him #restinpeacedaddy http://www.st-gemma.co.uk/onlinedonation (sic).”
The brunette beauty has since uploaded an inspirational quote on the photo-sharing site during the hard time.
The post read: “You have to be at your strongest when you’re feeling at your weakest.”
Mel was not only able to make amends with her father before his death but she built bridges with her mother, Andrea, and sister, Danielle, after it was reported the trio fell out over her relationship with her husband Stephen Belafonte, and the family have since enjoyed spending quality time together.
Speaking previously about her relatives, Mel said: “Yes, she came down yesterday, saw the kids and watched the show. Then we hung out and went for dinner with the kids. Family is family. There’s no point talking about that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dax Shepard accidentally taught his daughter the ‘F word’.
The 42-year-old actor has revealed three-year-old Lincoln – whom he has with his wife Kristen Bell – has picked up swear words from her father’s vocabulary after he swore outside of her room once when he got the bridge of his nose stuck in her bookshelf.
Recalling the incident on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Tuesday (14.03.17), he said: “The worst part of the story is two days later Kristen’s walking down the hallway. And Lincoln’s in her room trying to get this sweatshirt off – she’s like three – and her arms are all bound up in it and she’s getting frustrated and she goes, ‘Ow! F**k!'”
The ‘CHiPs’ star – who also has two-year-old daughter Delta with the ‘Frozen’ actress, whom he married in 2013 – also joked that the “worst” part of “owning” children is that they wake up really early.
He said: “The worst thing that can happen – if you have kids, you know this – the worse thing of owning them is they wake up so early.
“I don’t know why what they think they’re going to do, but uh…”
Asked what he meant by “owning them”, he laughed: “Well, we own a couple of these kids. We got a 2013 model and a 2015 model, low miles if anyone’s in the market! All highway. They’re gorgeous.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dan Stevens ate four roast dinners a day to bulk up for his role as the Beast in ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
The 34-year-old actor – who stars alongside Emma Watson as Belle in the live adaption of the Disney animated classic – has revealed he would indulge on piles of meat, roast potatoes and vegetables to get to the required size to portray his monster character.
In an interview with the new issue of Radio Times magazine, he revealed: “I was honestly eating four roast dinners every day, just to keep any form of physicality.”
And the British hunk also had to endure wearing metal stilts for half of the day on set and he also had to wear a “muscle vest” to make him look hefty.
It was sweltering work for Dan, who also had to wear a cooling pack underneath so he didn’t “waste away”.
He explained: “It was a pretty athletic job for me. I was physically conditioning my legs to be on stilts for 12 hours a day and also conditioning the rest of me so that I didn’t waste away – I was losing so much fluid through sweating. Underneath the muscle vest, I wore a special cooling vest, similar to what Formula One drivers wear, with refrigerator-style tubing.
“I would overheat, especially when we were dancing, so between takes there was a little tube that could be plugged in to ice-cold water to cool me down.”
Meanwhile, Dan recently said he thinks ‘Beauty and the Beast’ – which is based on French author Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont’s 1740 fairy tale ‘La Belle et la Bete’ – touches on a “classic Disney theme”.
He has praised director Bill Condon for making it alluring, in part, because of its exploration of the issue of absent parents.
He explained: “It’s a classic Disney theme, absent parents. Dead mothers and fathers all over the place!
“That really occupies a lot of fairy tales. The absent parent, and what is that filled with? If you have that missing element in the equation, what fills that? What influences it? For good or ill.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Stevie Nicks almost completely “destroyed” her life with drugs.
The Fleetwood Mac star never wants to glamorise her heavy cocaine use in the 1970s because it “almost killed” her and her friends and was a very expensive habit to maintain and to subsequently kick.
In an interview with the new issue of Q magazine, she said: “Touring with Fleetwood Mac in the 70s, cocaine was almost part of the daily routine. But when I talk about it now, I would never want the kids of today to think that I’m saying it was something good. Because it really wasn’t something good.
“It almost destroyed my life. It almost killed me and it almost killed a lot of people I know. So if anybody thinks it’s safe now – it’s not. It’s better to just not do it, because eventually you will have to stop, so start saving your money for rehab now. It’s so expensive.”
Stevie is now in her fifth decade as a performer – as part of a duo, Fleetwood Mac and as a solo artist – but despite her years’ of experience she is still plagued by nerves before going on stage so makes sure she’s as prepared as possible in order for her panic attacks not to get the better of her.
The ‘Edge of Seventeen’ singer said: “I’m scared, that’s what I am. Before shows, some people – me, Mick (Fleetwood, drummer), we get panic attacks.
“I have always been terribly nervous before shows. So I am so rehearsed and ready that I could be dead and stand up there and still sing the right words and do the right thing.”
The 68-year-old singer is always professional and even if she’s feeling very ill, will hide it on stage.
She said: “Onstage is the one time you can’t bemoan how you feel. Even if you have pneumonia, you have to say, ‘I’m leaving that in the dressing room and I’m walking out and I’m gonna be great.’ And when I come offstage, then I can burst into tears.”

The 35-year-old model has been in the Far East country on a promotional trip to open the new Victoria’s Secret store in Chengdu.
Away from her duties as an Angel, Alessandra has been seeing the sights and enjoying the local culture and cuisine which includes dining out on a cooked arachnid.
The Brazilian beauty – who has children Anja, seven, and Noah, three, with fiance Jamie Mazur – uploaded a photo of herself chowing down on the scorpion on a stick on her Instagram account.
The accompanying caption read: “Snack time #WheninChina (sic)”
Alessandra also used her account on the photo-sharing website to reveal what a great time she had at the opening of the lingerie specialist shop.
She wrote: “Amazing China #vsloveschina #VSstoreopening #chengdu … Sending love from the new @victoriassecret store in #chengdu (sic)”
Before heading to Chengdu, Alessandra made a stop off in Shanghai to unveil a wax model of herself at Madame Tussauds Shanghai.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Moss still uses public transport.
The 43-year-old supermodel admits she isn’t as frequent a user of the London Underground as she was when she first started her career, but she and her daughter Lila, 14, occasionally join the crowds to get around the UK capital.
She said: “We went on the Tube the other day. I hadn’t been on one for a long time, although when I started modelling it’s how I went to all my go-sees.”
Despite her glamorous lifestyle, Kate – who is in a relationship with photographer Nikolai Von Bismarck – loves cooking at her London home.
She said: “You can write that Kate Moss can actually boil an egg.”
And the British beauty doesn’t even mind fans sitting outside her house, waiting to catch a glimpse of their idol.
She said: “It doesn’t particularly bother me. One guy sits outside the house. He comes to the country too. Once he brought his kids and they spent the weekend sitting in the car.”
Kate’s friends insist the star gets along with everyone she meets.
Hairdresser James Brown said: “The thing about Kate is that one could imagine she inhabits this rarefied world and only talks to famous people. But go into a newsagent with her and within seconds she’s deep in chat with the lady behind the counter, telling her some story, asking her questions. She’s a communicator.”
Kate’s mantra is famously “Never complain, never explain” and she has admitted she rarely gives interviews because she can’t help but spill her secrets.
She said: “I don’t give interviews because I’m so s**t at keeping my mouth shut when I do.”
Despite her slender frame, Kate hates working out.
She admitted: “I’m so unfit, I bloody hate exercise.”
And she also hates the way she looks in gym gear.
After photographer Mert Alas explained he gifted Kate some trainers to encourage her to hit the gym, she confessed to British Vogue magazine : “I couldn’t do it and I hated the way my feet looked in them.”
