Shannen Doherty claims ex is waiting ‘in hopes she die’ to avoid paying spousal support

OHMYGOSSIP — Shannen Doherty has claimed her estranged husband is waiting “in hopes that [she] die” so he doesn’t have to pay her spousal support.
The 53-year-old actress – who is battling stage four breast cancer – filed for divorce from Kurt Iswarienko in April 2023 but she has not yet received many of her requests for financial information, which she claimed is delaying the process of finalising their split.
She stated in documents obtained by People magazine: “It is simply not right that Kurt be permitted to prolong our divorce in hopes that I die before he is required to pay me while he continues to live his life and shirk his responsibilities to his dying wife of more than 11 years.”
The photographer’s own lawyer disputed the claim, arguing he offered a settlement deal in October 2023, which was rejected by the ‘Charmed’ star.
Attorney Katherine Heersema said: “Kurt is not ‘simply wait[ing] for Shannen to die.
“He wants the best for Shannen and he wants both of them to be able to put this case behind them and move forward.”
Shannen insisted she denied previous proposed settlements because they “skirted around the issues of his original works created during marriage” and “his earning capacity.”
She is seeking $15,434 per month in spousal support, as well as over $9,000 in legal fees, as she claimed her residuals from ‘Charmed’ are decreasing and she is about to lose her SAG health insurance as a result of not working.
The ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ alumni has also had to pay “exorbitant” medical bills for “experimental treatments”, costing $21,640 in 2023 alone, and she claims will only increase.
Shannen insisted photographer Kurt can afford to pay, as she alleged he’s been splashing the cash on flights and expensive gifts for his agent Collier Grimm, who the actress believes her ex is romantically involved with.
She said: “While I have been unable to work, incurring exorbitant medical expenses not covered by insurance to undergo experimental treatments in hopes of prolonging my life, Kurt has been utilising the airplane, spending thousands of dollars at medical spas, jewellery stores, Gucci, and on flights for his ‘agent’, while simultaneously claiming that he has insufficient funds with which to support me.
“Although Kurt’s income is substantially more than mine, he has not made any temporary spousal support payments and has made no contributions to my attorneys’ or accounting fees and costs since the time our divorce action was filed.”

Catherine, Princess of Wales posts snap of Prince William playing with their kids to mark his 42nd birthday

OHMYGOSSIP — Catherine, Princess of Wales has shared a photograph of Prince William leaping over sand dunes with their three children to mark his 42nd birthday.
The royal, 42, posted the never-before-seen picture of her husband playing with their kids Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, at the beach on Friday (21.06.24) morning as she continues to largely stay out of the public eye as she receives preventative cancer treatment.
She captioned the image, which was released on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ Instagram account: “Happy birthday Papa, we all love you so much! C x.”
The snap was taken by Catherine in Norfolk last month, with the backdrop of the image similar to the one in the royal’s Father’s Day photo in honour of her husbands that was shared on Sunday (16.06.24).
Catherine and William’s daughter Charlotte is on his right in the image, while Louis looks down while clutching his father’s hand – as a delighted George waves at the camera.
The image prompted a flood of tributes to the Waleses in the comments section of their Instagram account.
Elsewhere, the Royal Family’s social media earlier also wished the Prince a happy birthday with a throwback snap of the heir to the throne.
The black-and-white shot shows a young William with his father, King Charles, with the caption reading: “Wishing the Prince of Wales a very happy birthday!”
A post from the National Museum of the Royal Navy also paid tribute to William – praising his “significant stint with the Royal Navy as part of his military training” after he completed a two-month attachment in 2008.
Its message added: “His diverse training has been a testament to his commitment to serving his country.”
As well as his wife’s health woes, William has had to watch his father Charles, 75, battle cancer, with the world told in February the monarch was battling an undisclosed form of the disease.
Catherine briefly returned to the public spotlight at Trooping the Colour last week with William and their three children, but in a personal message to the nation, the princess revealed even though she is making good progress with her health battle she is “not out of the woods yet”.

“And Courtney is a great chef. So, I’m just thrilled and proud to be doing this book.”

Travis Scott selling mugshot merchandise

OHMYGOSSIP — Travis Scott is capitalising on his arrest by selling t-shirts featuring his mugshot.
The ‘Sicko Mode’ hitmaker was arrested on charges of disorderly intoxication and trespassing on a property after a warning in the early hours of Thursday (20.06.24) morning and he’s already using the situation for good with the new addition to the merchandise section of his website.
The ‘Free the Rage Tee’ is priced at $35 and features Travis’ mugshot in the centre, with the phrase “It’s Miami” written in quotes underneath.
The official police report stated this was something the 33-year-old rapper said to cops after his arrest.
A portion of proceeds from the tee will got to the Cactus Jack Foundation, which aims to “empower and enrich the lives of youth by providing access to education and creative resources to ensure long term success.”
According to local news outlet WSVN, the ‘Highest in the Room’ hitmaker had been on a charter boat in the Miami Beach Marina when the vessel’s owner caused police and asked that Travis leave between midnight and 1am.
A police spokesperson told the TV station: “He was drunk, causing a disturbance and asked to leave multiple times.
“[Travis] became irate, screaming profanities, left and returned to disturb some more.”
A police report obtained by TMZ explained cops responded to a fight on one of the boats, and when they arrived Travis was arguing with the occupants on one of the yachts, but the person who reported him asked the officers to remove him.
Police started to escort Travis away – allegedly while he yelled obscenities – and took him to his waiting car past the docks, but he then returned five minutes later and was intercepted as he attempted to head back to the boat.
At this point, the ‘Antidote’ rapper is said to have become erratic and belligerent, and so he was arrested.
Cops arrested Travis at 1.17am, half an hour after arriving at the scene, before officially booking him three hours later.
A lawyer for the star – who has children Stormi, six, and two-year-old Aire with former partner Kylie Jenner – said the arrest had been a “misunderstanding”.
Attorney Bradford Cohen said in a statement: “Mr. Scott was briefly detained due to a misunderstanding.
“There was absolutely no physical altercation involved, and we thank the authorities for working with us towards a swift and amicable resolution.”

Beyoncé declares music industry ‘gatekeepers’ aren’t happy with her genre experiments

OHMYGOSSIP — Beyoncé has declared “music industry gatekeepers” aren’t happy with her experimenting with different genres.
The 42-year-old has gone from R and B sensation to having astonishing success with her country album ‘Cowboy Carter’ – with the ‘Texas Hold Em’ singer reaching the top of Billboard’s Hot country songs chart – but she has now spoken out about how she believes executives in her business don’t like the “bending” of musical forms.
She told The Hollywood Reporter: “The music industry gatekeepers are not happy about the idea of bending genres, especially coming from a Black artist and definitely not a woman.”
Beyoncé became the first black woman to reach the top of Billboard’s Hot country songs chart since its 1964 inception, while ‘Cowboy Carter’ also topped the all-genres Billboard 200, making it the singer’s eighth No 1 album.
But Beyoncé insisted she no longer looks at “charts and sales” for motivation when making music, and that paving the way for other black country singers is what now drives her.
Referring to how her ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ hit dipped to the No2 spot on the country chart only after Shaboozey, 29, released ‘A Bar Song (Typsy)’ two weeks later, she said: “When you are breaking down barriers, not everyone is ready and open for a shift.
“But when I see Shaboozey tearing the charts up and all the beautiful female country singers flying to new heights, inspiring the world, that is exactly what motivates me.
“There was a time in my life when charts and sales excited and motivated me. Once you have challenged yourself and poured every ounce of your life, your pain, your growth and your dreams into your art, it’s impossible to go backward.
“I’m very grateful and humbled for the extraordinary success of the new album.”
When Beyoncé and Shaboozey were in the country chart, it was the first time two black artists held the No1 spot on it consecutively.
Before she released ‘Cowboy Carter’ Beyoncé said on social media the record was “born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed… and it was very clear that I wasn’t”.
She added: “But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of country music and studied our rich musical archive.”

Jesse Plemons can ‘keep up’ with his kids after shedding 50lbs

OHMYGOSSIP — Jesse Plemons lost 50lbs for the sake of his children.
The 36-year-old actor – who has sons Ennis, six, and James, three, with his 42-year-old wife Kirsten Dunst – has dramatically changed his physique “over the course of a year and a half or so” thanks to intermittent fasting and he’s pleased the transformation has made it easier to “keep up” with his young family.
Asked how intermittent fasting, where a person doesn’t eat for a certain period of time each day, has changed his life, he told Entertainment Tonight: “Well, I’m not lugging 50 more pounds around.
“I have much more energy (now) and, like I’ve said, I’ve got young kids, so I got to keep up with them.”
In May, Jesse won the Best Actor prize at the Cannes Film Festival for ‘Kinds of Kindness’ – in which he plays three characters – and while the honour was unexpected, he’s thrilled with the movie director Yorgos Lanthimos has made.
He said: “(It was) an incredible honour.
“That wasn’t even on my radar of possibilities.
“I hadn’t seen the film until Cannes and so I was just, you know, I don‘t love watching myself on screen, but I was amazed that I was able to – after the first five minutes – keep watching.
“I really love the film and I’ve never seen anything like it.”
The former ‘Breaking Bad’ actor previously admitted he is expecting people to attribute his weight loss to using Ozempic or another anti-obesity drug, but insisted it “doesn’t matter”.
He told the Los Angeles Times newspaper: “Several people talked to me about intermittent fasting and I just gave it a shot. I was surprised at how quickly it was effective.”
Jesse jokingly added: “It’s really unfortunate that I decided to get healthy when everyone decided to take Ozempic.
“It doesn’t matter, everyone’s going to think I took Ozempic anyways.”

‘I was the crazy chicken woman’: Penny Lancaster used to hide away when in the grip of menopause symptoms

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Penny Lancaster used to “hide” with the chickens when she started going through menopause.
The 54-year-old model and presenter recalled experiencing “a few mental breakdowns” when she and her husband Sir Rod Stewart, 79, and their two sons Alistair, 18, and Aiden, 13, returned to Britain in the early days of the Covid pandemic in 2020, and she used to retreat into the garden to cope with the debilitating anxiety she was battling as a result of the changes to her body, which were undiagnosed at that point.
She told The Times newspaper: “I had a few… what I could classify as ‘mental breakdowns’. We got chickens at that time and I remember I hung a hammock in the chicken area. I was the crazy chicken woman. If the kids wanted to know where I was, they’d find me wrapped up in this hammock.
“I was just, like, ‘Curl up and hide.’
“I couldn’t cope with anything. Every time I woke up, the build-up of anxiety and fear!
“I’ve never been like that. I’ve always been like, ‘It’s OK!’
“People will come to me and say, ‘I’ve got this sticky situation and I don’t know what to do. There’s this problem, Penny, solve it.’
“[But then] I didn’t have answers for myself, let alone anyone else.”
Penny – who was eventually misdiagnosed with depression – first experienced signs of menopause in early March 2020 but assumed she had contracted COVID-19, of which very little was known about at the time.
She recalled: “I found that one night after another, I was waking up, sweating head to toe.
“It wasn’t just a little discomfort in the night. I was on top of the covers, feeling like this inferno was rising, as if I was standing in a pit of fire.
“The heat started in my feet and rose up my legs. It was as if I could feel it going through my blood vessels, my blood was boiling. I could feel it rising, closer and closer to my heart and into my head…”
Explaining how she and Rod had TV news playing “24/7, just to get updates”, she added: “Those horrific images: people in the hospital wards, down corridors, saying they didn’t have enough ventilators….
“And of course one of the main symptoms was a cough and ridiculously high temperatures. But at the time, there were no tests. I was keeping my distance from the kids. I was scared.”
But a Zoom call with her fellow ‘Loose Women’ stars alerted Penny to the possibility she may be going through menopause.
She recalled: “We were all discussing how we were coping through Covid.
“And this was one of the things I was mentioning. They said it could be menopause. I was like, ‘I’m not old enough for that.’ ”
“Well, of course I was! In my head I was like, ‘That’s when you’ve been round the block a hundred times and it’s time for retirement. But surely not in my late forties! That’s too young. People are still working!’ It didn’t make sense to me.”
After being diagnosed with depression, Penny continued to struggle until her ‘Loose Women’ friends staged an intervention.
She said: “They literally wanted to grab me and shake me! We’d started going back in the studio — no audience, we were doing the two-metre thing, the desk was bigger.
“But it was more face-to-face and they were able to really see and hear and recognise what was happening. Thank God for them.”

Ken Jeong reveals why he would make a ‘horrible’ spy

OHMYGOSSIP — Ken Jeong would make a “horrible” spy as he has a “weak spirit”.
The former doctor, 54, stars as a CIA boss in Amazon Prime’s comedy series ‘My Spy’ alongside Dave Bautista, but has opened up about how his character would stop him doing the job in reality.
He told The Guardian when asked if he would make a good spy in real life: “I would make a horrible spy. I have no spy skills.
“I’m a weak man. I have a very weak spirit. I would betray someone very quickly if threatened.
“I’d talk too much and reveal too many secrets and plans.”
Ken also told how he thinks Crystal the capuchin monkey he has worked alongside in several of his projects is a better actor than him.
He added: “I’ve worked with Crystal on a dozen projects – ‘The Hangover’, the TV show ‘Community’ and another movie, ‘The Zookeeper’.
“She is just a miracle. For example, in ‘The Hangover’, (director) Todd Phillips would give a direction and I’d need three or four takes.
“Crystal could literally do it on the spot. I was upstaged by a monkey, and now I’m at peace with that.”
Ken also opened up about his previous career as a doctor, and when asked if he thinks laughter is the best medicine said: “Medicine is the best medicine. “Laughter helps you through life. But – speaking as a proper physician – medicine is the best medicine.”
The actor said the last time he was called on to use his medical skills in public was when he was on a plane and someone was “having some discomfort and there was concern”.
He added: “The flight attendant went to the front of the cabin and said: ‘Is there a doctor on the plane?’
“I literally said – this is honest-to-God true – ‘Well, um, you know, I used to be a doctor.’
“Luckily, there was a happy ending because the person was completely fine and the flight attendant and I had a good laugh afterwards.”

Austin Butler too starstruck to speak to Ryan Gosling

OHMYGOSSIP — Austin Butler was so starstruck when he saw Ryan Gosling he couldn’t even say hello to him.
The ‘Elvis’ actor unexpectedly caught a glimpse of the ‘Barbie’ star outside his hotel, but he was so in awe, he had to find an alternative entrance to the building because he couldn’t bring himself to speak.
Speaking on ‘Today’, he said: “I was just telling a story yesterday about getting starstruck by Ryan Gosling recently. It’s when you don’t expect to see somebody — so I saw him outside of a hotel that I was staying in, and I had to go into another door.
“I couldn’t even say hello. Because I grew up admiring him so much.”
Host Savannah Guthrie then pointed out 32-year-old actor is a star in his own right and he replied: “I know. But that doesn’t feel real.”
But Ryan, 43, isn’t the only famous face to leave the Oscar-nominated hunk starstruck because he was also in awe of Bruce Springsteen when they crossed paths at a party hosted by Sir Paul McCartney and attended by the likes of his Beatles bandmate Sir Ringo Starr, Taylor Swift, Tom Hanks and Sir Mick Jagger.
Austin said of the bash: ““Some people I know — Paul I’ve met a couple times. He’s so sweet.
“I had never met Springsteen, so that was really… Those are those moments that you just, you can hardly fathom the amount of talent that’s surrounding you.”
And of Cher attending the premiere of his new movie ‘The Bikeriders’, he added: “Yeah, she’s another person that I’d never met. What a legend.”
Austin is “very grateful” for the success he has enjoyed in recent years after spending so long just trying to make ends meet.
He said: “I’ve been acting for 20 years, and you know, most of that time you just try to pay the rent and pay for gas, so right now I just feel very grateful.”

Margaret Qualley treats car rides home as self-care

OHMYGOSSIP — Margaret Qualley treats her car rides home as self-care.
The ‘Kinds of Kindness’ actress, 29, says she feel life is so out of control the drives are when she gets back in touch with herself.
She said at a screening of her new film at New Yorks’ Museum of Modern Art: “That’s the whole thing, right? I think – I mean the whole thing of life, too, we don’t have very much control.
“We’re always trying to reckon with it. I’m always just trying to be like, ‘Okay’, and on my car rides home after a day of work are just me trying to be nice to myself because you can’t do anything now.”
Margaret plays the role of Vivian in ‘Kinds of Kindness’, and was accompanied at the showing of the movie by director Yorgos Lanthimos and co-stars Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Plemons, Joe Alwyn, Hunter Schafer, Hong Chau and Mamoudou Athie.
‘Kinds of Kindness’ features three anthological stories in which actors portray different characters in storylines that take place in and around New Orleans.
An official synopsis for the movie says the tales follow “a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life”.
Another story is of a policeman who is “alarmed that his wife who was missing at sea has returned and seems a different person”.
And another tells of a woman “determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader”.
The movie is the third feature film collaboration between Emma Stone, 35, and filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos, 50, after their ‘Poor Things’ collaboration and 2018’s ‘The Favourite’.
The pair also made a short film together in 2022 titled ‘Bleat’.

Billy Baldwin pays tribute to ‘true acting master’ Donald Sutherland

OHMYGOSSIP — Billy Baldwin is mourning the loss of a “true acting master” in Donald Sutherland.
The 61-year-old star appeared with the screen legend – who died on Thursday (20.06.24) aged 88 – in ‘Backdraft’, ‘Virus’ and ABC series ‘Dirty Sexy Money’ and he has paid tribute to his beloved “complex, complicated and quirky” collaborator.
Writing for Deadline, Billy said: “I have the honour and pleasure of working with Donald Sutherland on three occasions.
“The first was when he so brilliantly portrayed the deranged, psychopathic arsonist Ronald in Ron Howard’s ‘Backdraft’.
“The second was 20 weeks on the Universal sci-fi thriller ‘Virus’ with Jamie Lee Curtis.
“The third, and by far my favourite, was when he played my father and patriarch of the Darling family, Tripp Darling, on the short-lived but wonderful ABC hit ‘Dirty, Sexy, Money’.
“Donald was a complex, complicated and quirky man in the most delicious way. He had a gentle, childlike boyish streak in him that I absolutely adored.
“His persona on screen and his personality in life were as interesting and original as the features on his face … need I say more.
“He was a true original. A one of a kind. I have never known anyone remotely like him.
“His many incredible qualities and somehow even his flaws made him more unique, more charming … more lovable.”
The pair grew particularly close while shooting ‘Dirty Sexy Money’ between 2007 and 2009 and Billy will “never forget” when his co-star told him he had grown to regard him as one of his own sons.
He continued: “I remember one day we were coming out of the ‘DSM’ table reading and Donald had this big smile on his face and bounce in his step and said to me, ‘Look at this… read this.’ He proceeded to hand me his script and I read a scene that had lots of snappy, brilliant Craig Wright/Tripp Darling dialogue in it.
“He said to me… ‘Can you believe that? Can you believe I get to say that… how wonderful.’ It was so sweet and so exhilarating for me to see how excited he still was about the work at 73 years old.
“I played his eldest son Patrick on ‘Dirty, Sexy, Money’ and we had gotten so close during the two seasons we worked together that he once said to me, ‘I have affection for you as if you were one of my sons.’ That meant to the world to me and I will never forget that.”
The ‘Too Old to Die Young’ actor ended his tribute with sympathy for Donald’s wife Francine Racette and his five children.
He wrote: “There will never be another Donald Sutherland… ever.
“We have lost a true acting master and a quirky, one of a kind, never met anyone like him before original.
“My condolences to Francine, Rossif, Angus, Roeg, Kiefer and Rachel.
“He will be dearly missed.”

Judy Garland’s hometown raising money to buy pair of her ultra-rare ‘Wizard of Oz’ ruby slippers

OHMYGOSSIP — Judy Garland’s hometown is raising money to buy a pair of the ultra-rare ruby slippers she wore in ‘The Wizard of Oz’.
The footwear worn by the late actress – who was born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota in 1922 – was stolen from a local museum and then later turned over to an auction company, and locals are now drumming up cash to bring them back to the city.
They want to bring the slippers back after an auction company takes them on an international tour before offering them up to prospective buyers in December.
Joe Maddalena, Heritage Auctions executive vice president, told Minnesota Public Radio about their huge cash value: “They could sell for $1 million – they could sell for $10 million: they’re priceless.
“Once they’re gone, all the money in the world can’t buy them back.”
The funds currently being raised with be added to the $100,000 set aside this year by Minnesota lawmakers to buy Judy’s shiny slippers.
Dallas-based Heritage Auctions received them from Michael Shaw, a memorabilia collector who originally owned the iconic shoes.
He had loaned them in 2005 to the Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, but that summer someone smashed through a display case and stole the sequins-and-beads-bejewelled slippers.
Their whereabouts remained a mystery until the FBI recovered them in 2018.
The man who stole the slippers, Terry Jon Martin, 76, pleaded guilty in October to theft of a major artwork.
He admitted to using a hammer to smash the glass of the museum’s door and display case.
His attorney said it was an attempt to pull off “one last score” after turning away from a life of crime.
He was sentenced in January to time served because of his poor health.
In March, a second man, 76-year-old Jerry Hal Saliterman, was charged in connection with the theft.
The ruby slippers were at the heart of 1939’s ‘The Wizard of Oz’, which saw Judy’s character Dorothy danced down the Yellow Brick Road in the slippers along with the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion.
Judy, who died in 1969 aged 47 from an overdose of barbiturates, wore several pairs during filming, but one four remain.
Leonardo DiCaprio, 49, and a group of the Oscar-winning actor’s friends bought one set for the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences.

Eva Longoria ‘has no bad blood’ with ex-‘Desperate Housewives’ co-stars Teri Hatcher and Nicollette Sheridan

OHMYGOSSIP — Eva Longoria is said to have “no bad blood” with her former ‘Desperate Housewives’ co-stars Teri Hatcher and Nicollette Sheridan.
The actress, 49, fuelled talk she was feuding with her fellow ex-performers, 59 and 60 respectively, by not naming them in a list of stars from the ABC show with whom she said she still keeps in touch.
But an insider has now told Page Six: “(There is) no bad blood between (any of the co-stars.)
“(Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross) are just simply the ones (Eva) keeps in touch with.”
Eva had said when the Daily Mail asked with which castmates she still keeps in touch with: “I talk to Felicity all the time. I talk to Marcia a lot, but the one probably I talk to most is Ricardo (Chavira), my husband. And Jesse (Metcalfe.)”
Despite the insistence there is no feud, Eva has in the past said she was “bullied” by an unnamed co-worker on the set of ‘Desperate Housewives’.
And in 2018, she did not mention ‘Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman’ actress Teri when asked with whom from “Desperate Housewives” she was still friendly.
She told Jimmy Kimmel about Felicity, 61, and Marcia, 62, at the time: “We’re very good friends.”
When Jimmy, 56, asked: “All of you?”, Eva added with a laugh: “No. But 99 per cent of us are.”
In 2019, ‘Desperate Housewives’ creator Marc Cherry, 62, said it was “impossible” to get along with an unnamed woman on the show who he said exhibited “behavioural problems.”
He said: “Felicity still insisted on saying, ‘Good morning’ to this actress, even though she knew she wouldn’t get a response.
“I found out about this and asked Felicity about it. She smiled and said, ‘Just because that woman’s determined to be rude, doesn’t mean she can keep me from being polite.’”
The show’s writer Patty Lin, who worked on season one of ‘Desperate Housewives’ said about Teri in her book ‘End Credits: How I Broke Up With Hollywood’: “The writers weren’t barred from the set, but we weren’t exactly welcome.
“Usually we’d only see the cast at table reads, where we’d sit quietly in the back and try not to make eye contact with Teri Hatcher.”

Kevin Costner loves idea of falling in love again

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Costner loves the idea of falling in love again.
The ‘Yellowstone’ actor, 69, was recently linked with singer Jewel, 50, after the pair were spotted on several occasions looking comfortable with each other – but he recently denied they were an item and has now said he is open to finding romance a year after filing for divorce from 50-year-old Christine Baumgartner after 18 years of marriage.
He told People: “I think everybody would like to be in love. There’s such a good feeling that’s associated with that.
“It may have to be defined in a different way, but yeah, I love the idea of that possibility.”
Despite the bitter fall-out over money after his split from handbag designer Christine, ‘The Bodyguard’ star Kevin said he is “not going to let anything harden (his) heart”.
He said about focusing on his seven children – Annie, 40, Lily, 37, Joe, 36, Liam, 27, Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and 14-year-old Grace – to get him through tough times: “You just keep talking, you keep coaching (the kids), you keep interested in what they’re interested in… I had to.
“It’s really about the children. I am still teaching my kids. And by the way, I’m still learning.”
Sources told TMZ when Kevin and Jewel were linked in December their relationship was “rather new”.
Kevin told ‘The Howard Stern Show’ earlier this week when quizzed on their relationship: “Jewel and I are friends – we’ve never gone out. She’s special, and I don’t want these rumours to ruin our friendship because that’s what we have.”
But Kevin admitted the singer is “beautiful enough to go out with”.
The actor added the pair met on billionaire Sir Richard Branson’s private island in 2023, where the ‘Who Will Save Your Soul’ singer held her Inspiring Children Foundation tennis fundraiser.
He said they had “tremendous conversations” but left the island as friends and nothing more.
Jewel is mother to 12-year-old son Kase and was previously married to actor Ty Murray, 54, from 2008 to 2014.

Lupita Nyong’o developed vocal cord polyp using ‘super-positive voice’ to play robot

OHMYGOSSIP — Lupita Nyong’o developed a vocal cord polyp due to the “super-positive voice” she used to play a robot in her upcoming film.
The 41-year-old actress said she was forced to rest her voice for three months after she strained herself during her work on ‘The Wild Robot’ portraying cyborg Roz and its journey to finding “humanity”.
She said on ‘Late Night with Seth Myers’: “(Roz) goes through this journey to finding, I guess, what we would call humanity, like empathy.
“And so at the start of the movie, I chose to do this very, kind of like, super-positive voice.
“And it was, like, just not in my vocal register, which is a lot lower.
“I did it for way too long over a number of days, and I got a vocal polyp.”
Vocal cord lesions are defined as noncancerous growths that may form on one or both vocal cords.
Lupita added hers was so severe she “lost my ability to speak”, adding: “My doctor put me on vocal rest, and I was on vocal rest for three months.”
She also said she was scheduled to have surgery, but when her doctor told her 35 per cent of people recover naturally from the condition she “was so determined to be part of that 35%”.
Lupita said: “And I did. I cured myself.”
Among the other celebrities to recover from vocal injuries are Miley Cyrus, Céline Dion and Adele.
Lupita said she didn’t let her inability to speak stop her from going to Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ and Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ show.
Seth said during their chat about her going to the stars’ gigs: “You had to wear a note that said, ‘I am on a vocal rest.’
Lupita added: “Yeah, I made that at home.
“Sometimes people thought I was being rude because I wouldn’t say anything.
“So then I just thought, ‘Okay. Let me let people know what’s going on, and that way, they’ll have sympathy for me instead of hatred.’”
