Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian were ‘workout bodies’ before relationship

OHMYGOSSIP — Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian were “workout buddies” long before they embarked on a romantic relationship.
The Blink-182 rocker and the Poosh founder have been married since 2022 but started dating in 2020, after bonding over fitness and wellness.
He told People: “It’s one of the main reasons we were so close. We would always work out together and run together or do stuff like that together before we were ever in a relationship — we were workout buddies forever. It was what started it all.
“We’ll do Pilates together; we’ll carve out a half hour or an hour every day to go out”
The 48-year-old musician admitted he “stole” her avocado shake recipe, and the 45-year-old reality star introduced him to the benefits of matcha.
The drummer also revealed that he influenced the mother of his son Rocky Thirteen – born eight months ago – to follow a vegan diet “probably about 75 per cent of the time”.
The drummer started looking after his health after his near-fatal plane accident in 2008, which left 70 per cent of his body burnt.
He said: “I was told by doctors that I may never be able to walk or play drums the same again. I was never athletic, and I never played sports, but I immediately had this urge to prove everyone wrong including myself.”
The couple have been friends since 2006, and the following year, he moved close to Kourtney – who also has sons Mason, 14, and Reign, nine, and 11-year-old daughter Penelope with her 41-year-old ex-Scott Disick – in the hope they would connect as he admired her before he even knew her.
He said: “I knew she lived in Calabasas, and I knew she was the love of my life, and I didn’t even know her like that, but I just knew if I couldn’t date her or be with her because she was with someone else that at least I could live by her.”

Sam and Aaron Taylor-Johnson didn’t get criticism of their 24-year age gap

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Taylor-Johnson says she and her husband Aaron Taylor-Johnson “couldn’t fathom the fascination” with their 24-year age gap.
The ‘Back to Black’ director, 57, married the ‘Fall Guy’ actor, 34, in 2012, three years after they met on the set of ‘Nowhere Boy’, and the couple didn’t understand why people were so obsessed with their ages for a while.
Appearing on BBC Radio 4’s ‘This Cultural Life’, she said: “I guess that interest was more when we got together, which was now 14 years – at the beginning, was quite intense.
“And that sort of fascination, because he’s younger than me, which you know, we couldn’t really fathom the fascination. But I guess it’s sort of gone away a little bit.
“Mostly when I’m doing press and things like this it sort of resurges a little bit. But yeah, I guess people want to understand things when they can’t. They want to pick up art when they can’t fathom what a certain love story that doesn’t fit in a box is.”
The ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ helmer recently insisted their age difference is “never” noticeable in their relationship.
Although she acknowledged that makes them “a bit of an anomaly” compared to most other couples, she doesn’t understand why it’s still a big deal.
Asked if their age gap ever shows in terms of different interests or reference points, she told The Guardian’s Saturday magazine: “No, it never does. I mean, it’s coming up now because you’re asking.
“And it comes up on the outside perspective of people who don’t know us, because I guess people will always …
“We’re a bit of an anomaly, but it’s that thing: after 14 years you just think, surely by now it doesn’t really matter?”
Sam – who has Angelica, 27, and Jessie, 18, with ex-husband Jay Jopling and Wylda, 13, and Romy, 12, with Aaron – never hesitated about getting involved with a much younger man.
She said: “If I had been cynical for a second, it wouldn’t have worked. If I had questioned anything, it would never have worked. I’m quite instinctual. I’ve gone feet-first into everything in my life. I’m always, ‘This seems amazing’, and I jump straight in and go through the experience, whether good or bad.
“It’s definitely a ‘F***it, let’s go with it’ approach. And I’m a great believer that the heart overrides everything. Love conquers all.”

Sam Neill had some ‘grim’ weekends amid his cancer treatment

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Neill admits he had some “grim” weekends amid his cancer battle but is grateful to be alive.
The 76-year-old ‘Jurassic Park’ actor has been in remission for years after fighting stage 3 angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma – a form of blood cancer – and has recalled how his treatment would wipe him out every other weekend.
He told the Herald Sun: “It just meant that every second week it was a case of forget about the weekend because that would be a bit grim.
“But other than that, it’s great to be alive and working and in beautiful places, like York.”
Last year, Sam insisted while he wasn’t afraid of death after battling the disease, he “would be annoyed” because he still has plenty he wants to achieve.
He started having a new experimental drug to fight off the disease, but despite the promising news, he knows it won’t last forever.
He’s been told by his doctors that one day the drug will stop working, which he is “prepared for”.
Sa, told Australian Story at the time: “I’m not in any way frightened of dying. That doesn’t worry me. It’s never worried me from the beginning, but I would be annoyed.
“I’d be annoyed because there are things I still want to do. Very irritating, dying. But I’m not afraid of it.”
After his diagnosis, Sam started chemotherapy, but it stopped working after three months and he switched his treatment to a rare anti-cancer drug which led to him going into remission.
Despite being cancer-free he was required to have infusions every two weeks, however, he’s aware the drug won’t continue working indefinitely.
He added: “I’m prepared for that.”
Sam added of his cancer: “I know I’ve got it, but I’m not really interested in it. It’s out of my control. If you can’t control it, don’t get into it.”
He first revealed news of his cancer battle in his book ‘Did I Ever Tell You This’ which he started work on following his diagnosis.
Speaking to Sky News after the tome’s release, he said: “The cancer thing came out as a corollary to the release of the book, which is a memoir that I wrote when I was under chemo. I’m doing absolutely fine now. What was slightly annoying was that the story was sort of ‘cancer, cancer, cancer, cancer’, and really the other half of the story is ‘remission, remission and remission – and I’m absolutely fine.”

Steve-O books in for boob job

OHMYGOSSIP — Steve-O is going to have a boob job.
The 50-year-old stuntman is planning to undergo a breast augmentation procedure in the hope it will help him better disguise himself for a planned hidden prank comedy series.
Speaking on the ‘X5’ podcast, he said: “I came up with the idea a few years ago to get a boob job and just film a bunch of legitimately funny hidden camera pranks with me in disguise, in various disguises, and then revealing who I actually am, and just funny endurance stunts and whatever.
“I’ve been so particularly in love with that idea because the comedy, the opportunity for comedy, I believe is absolutely there, and it’s like the quintessential Steve-O — that level of commitment.”
The ‘Jackass’ star has already discussed the planned surgery with doctors and has made an appointment for the procedure – then plans to have the implants removed just a few months later.
He said: “I spoke with the doctors, and I said to them candidly, ‘The one thing I’m really freaked out about and bummed out about and would back out of this over is if I’m just gonna be a mess afterwards.’
“You know, it’s going under the muscle, and the doctors are completely unfazed, like, ‘Two months, it comes out, absolutely no issue.’ ”
Steve-O views the move as just another part of his “art”.
He added: “I’ve always been a body modification guy, like with my back tattoo, with my butt piercing – body modification has been part of my f****** deal, it’s been a lane in my art since the beginning. And this level of commitment to this bit, how nuts it is – I believe in it.”
The comic first suggested having a boob job in the name of his work two years ago when planning a live tour.
He explained to The Guardian newspaper: “The theme that ties together all of these ridiculous acts is an examination of my body and how, on the cusp of turning 50, the instrument I rely on for attention is breaking down.
“As we barrel towards our inevitable demise, we wilt, and our bodies deteriorate, and it’s this really sad dark thing. And that process is well under way for me.
“That came from me being legitimately horrified to look in the mirror and discover that not only am I developing man t*** but I literally have underboob too. And so I’m childishly lashing out at the God that enabled me to develop man t******.
“Like, if I’m going to be forced to have t****** then goddamn it they’re going to be DDs!
“I think the PT Barnum in me just thinks that makes sense. It will be the tour that promotes itself.”

‘Every guy’s fantasy’: Mark Wahlberg praises Halle Berry romance in new movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Wahlberg has hailed his on-screen romance with Halle Berry in their new movie as “every guy’s fantasy”.
The 53-year-old actor – who has Ella, 20, Michael, 18, Brendan, 15, and 14-year-old Grace with wife Rhea Durham – stars opposite his old friend in ‘The Union’, in which his blue-collar worker character gets a second chance with his high school sweetheart, and he believes the plot of the Netflix film will offer hope to many men.
He told Fox News Digital: “Halle, her and I have known each other for such a long time, and this movie is going to be so great because it’s every guy’s fantasy, to think that they got a shot with Halle Berry…
“They were childhood sweethearts, and they come back together. He basically waited 25 years for her to come back, walk back through that door and into his life, and it happens, and there isn’t anything he wouldn’t do to prove himself to her if he got a second chance.
“For me, that was the whole motivation of the character: just do anything he could to not screw it up again.”
The ‘Boogie Nights’ star admitted it is always “a little weird” to have an on-screen relationship but he and his wife have a strong marriage.
He said: “I think it’s a little weird anyway when you’re portraying some sort of romance onscreen, it’s not normal, but my wife knows that she is my everything.
“She is the most special woman in the world.”
Meanwhile, Mark is excited about his upcoming role in ‘Flight Risk’, in which he plays a wilderness pilot turned crazed hit man because he hasn’t played a villain since he starred as an abusive obsessed boyfriend in ‘Fear’.
He said: “I’m not interested in being a pilot. I don’t like flying at all, but I was very interested in playing a villain again.
“I hadn’t done that since ‘Fear’ 30 years ago.
“To be able to go back there and play somebody who is [a villain] … it’s an amazing character. I think people are going to be shocked when they see the movie. It’s going to be a good one this summer.”

Appearing on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ – which was guest hosted by her ‘Only Murders in the Building’ co-star Martin Short – she said: “I’m so excited.
“It’s basically something you know I don’t know about your life, you don’t know about my life. It’s a show that means a lot to me.”
The 74-year-old presenter replied: “I know it does. Because you started out in that show. And also you’re appearing on it, too?”
Selena confirmed: “Yes. I will be in the first episode. I’m executive producing it. It brings me to tears because that is the beginning of where I started. And to honour it in this way has truly been a blast, and I can’t wait for people to see it.”
The pair then joked about rebooting ‘Only Murders In the Building’ in years to come.
Yelling with just half his mouth, Martin – who plays Oliver Putnam – exclaimed: “Let’s solve the crime!”
Laughing, Selena – who portrays Mabel Mara – said: “Let’s do it however long you can make it.”
Martin said: “I don’t think I’d be in every episode, what do you think? Just occasionally. What does Oliver think?”
He then slumped back in his chair and silence before he added: “That’s it.”
Selena said: “This is my life every day.”
Earlier in the interview, Martin had asked his guest who was his favourite between her and their 78-year-old co-star Steve Martin, who plays Charles Hayden-Savage.

“I love both of you for exactly who you are and where you are and what you’ve taught me. It’s just great.”

Wimbledon bosses ‘hopeful’ Catherine, Princess of Wales can present trophies

OHMYGOSSIP — Wimbledon bosses are “hopeful” Catherine, Princess of Wales will be able to present the winners’ trophies at this year’s tournament.
The 42-year-old royal – who has largely been out of the spotlight this year due to health issues – has been patron of the All England Club since 2016 and is a regular spectator at the annual tennis event, and it is hoped she will be in attendance to give out the prizes to the men’s and women’s singles winners next month.
All England Club chair Debbie Jevans told the Daily Telegraph newspaper they will give Catherine “as much flexibility as possible” while she continues her cancer treatment, including potentially delaying a decision as to who will present the trophies until the morning of the finals.
She said: “We’re hopeful that the Princess of Wales will be able to present the trophies as the Club’s patron, but her health and recovery is the priority.
“We don’t know what we don’t know. All we’ve said is that we’ll work with her and give her as much flexibility as possible.
“I don’t know who would present the trophies as an alternative – that’s something to consider nearer the time if necessary. We’re staying flexible. When we hear we’ll then think about what’s the right thing to do.”
Other options if Catherine can’t present the trophies could include another member of the royal household, or Debbie herself as chair of the club and a former player at Wimbledon.
The All England Club no longer has a president since the Duke of Kent stepped down from the position three years ago.
Catherine took over the role of patron from the late Queen Elizabeth, who held the post from 1952 to 2016, and presented the prizes on several occasions during that time.
The princess made a return to public life earlier this month when she joined members of the royal family, including her husband Prince William and their children Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and six-year-old Prince Louis, at Trooping the Colour.

Kim Kardashian has no plans to move house ever again

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian “can’t imagine” ever moving house again.
The 43-year-old beauty and her now-former husband Kanye West bought their estate in Hidden Hills, California, back in 2014 and the property is already the site of so many happy memories with her four children, North, 11, Saint, eight, Chicago, six, and five-year-old Psalm, so she doesn’t think she’ll ever want to leave it behind.
She told People magazine: “The best memories I have growing up are in our family home, and I always want to create those memories and safe space for my kids. So, I can’t ever imagine moving.
“We’ve created such beautiful memories here already.”
The minimalistic decor of the abode “took a few years” to bring together but now it is a true haven of peace for Kim.
She said:
“My home provides a much-needed sanctuary of calm.
“When I step inside after a busy day, it creates a sense of peace that allows me to truly be present with my kids. After all, at the end of the day, that’s what matters most.”
The Skims founder may have adopted for white tones and muted shades in the communal spaces of the house, but it’s a “different story” when it comes to her children’s bedrooms.
She said: “The kids’ rooms are a different story – I let them each design their own rooms – they can go wild with whatever colours they want.”
The ‘Kardashians’ star will always have fond memories of her own childhood home in Beverly Hills, where she lived with parents Kris Jenner and the late Robert Kardashian, and siblings Kourtney, Khloe and Rob.
She said: “All our memories live here especially with our dad. It’s where each Kardashian child was born and made us who we are.”

Rachel Bilson ‘always up for’ return to The OC

OHMYGOSSIP — Rachel Bilson will “always be up for” a return to ‘The O.C.’
The 42-year-old actress recently reprised her role as Summer Roberts for a campaign for 21Seeds infused tequila – which was created by the teen drama’s showrunners Josh Schwarz and Stephanie Savage – and not only did she enjoy going back to the character, she’d be happy to do so again.
However, Rachel can also see the advantages in preserving the show as it was.
She told Variety: “I would always be up for it. But it’s also this thing that people still watch and are still discovering.
“So do you just leave that special moment as it is?
“You weigh both sides because obviously it would be fun and I love everybody and it would be awesome to go back and we need to somehow bring Marissa back to life and do the whole thing if we do it.
“But also leaving it for what it was and how special it kind of was, is also a positive.”
Rachel believes her alter ego is “living her best life” these days and, 17 years after ‘The O.C.’ ended, thinks a return would find Summer still married to Seth Cohen (Adam Brody) and raising their children.
Asked where she thinks Summer would be now, she said: “I’m just going to say this for the fans—she’s definitely still married to Seth. They have kids. Let’s paint that picture. She’s living her best life. Summer, I feel like she really bloomed over the four years of the show and she just continued that way.”
And discussing her involvement in the advertising campaign, she said: “I’m obviously a fan of 21Seeds, so that was a no-brainer, but then when they said we’re going to bring Summer back and they were writing it, of course I’m going to do it because how fun does that sound?
“Tequila and Summer, come on! She’s obviously drinking her tequila because no Orange County housewife can survive without it.”

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne axe public appearance as rocker is ‘unable to travel’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sharon Osbourne has apologised after pulling out of a public appearance next month because husband Ozzy is “unable to travel”.
The couple had been booked to appear at the Mad Monster Party in Phoenix, Arizona, alongside their children Jack and Kelly, but fans have been left disappointed as most of the family will no longer be in attendance because of the ‘Paranoid’ hitmaker’s ongoing health issues.
Sharon said in a video message shared to Instagram: “Regretfully, the Osbourne family have to cancel our upcoming appearance at the Mad Monster Party in Phoenix because Ozzy is unable to travel at this time.
“However, Jack will be there flying the flag for the Osbournes. Everybody who bought the Osbourne package will, of course, get full refunds.”
Sharon went on to thank fans for their support and apologised for letting people down with the decision.
She added: “We would like to thank you all for your constant support. It means so much to him, you have no idea. And all I can do is apologise that we won’t be there and I’m apologising for people we’ve let down from my heart. So God bless you all. Thank you so much.”
Attendees had been given the opportunity to pay a fee to get a photo with Ozzy himself, or a special Ultimate Sin Package’, which, for $666 allowed two people to have a picture with all four members of the family.
Earlier this year, Sharon confirmed Ozzy, 75, won’t tour again but is keen to “say goodbye” to his fans with a few one-off performances.
Speaking at her live show at London’s The Fortune Theatre, she said: “He won’t tour again but we are planning on doing two more shows to say goodbye as he feels like, ‘I have never said goodbye to my fans and I want to say goodbye.’
“His voice is still absolutely perfect. And all the time he has been off he still does his singing lessons. Even if you don’t like his music, you can’t not like Ozzy.”
Sharon also dropped a huge hint that Ozzy – who has been unable to perform live in recent months due to a string of health issues, including Parkinson’s disease and problems with his spine – will play the two gigs in Aston, Birmingham, at Villa Park, the home of Premier League giants Aston Villa.
She said: “We will do it in Aston Villa where Ozzy is from.”

Elvis Presley’s blue suede shoes up for auction

OHMYGOSSIP — A pair of Elvis Presley’s blue suede shoes are expected to sell for around £100,000.
The ‘Suspicious Minds’ hitmaker wore the size 10.5 footwear both on and off stage in the 1950s, but gave them away to his friend, Alan Fortas, the night before his induction into the US army in 1958 and now they are to be auctioned off by Henry Aldridge + Son in Wiltshire on Friday (28.06.24).
The shoes, which Elvis acquired after recording his 1956 song ‘Blue Suede Shoes’, are expected to fetch £100,000 to £120,000 and have been authenticated by Jimmy Velvet, who was a close friend of the late singer and has been described as “the world’s leading Elvis authority”.
Auctioneer Andrew Aldridge described the shoes as “iconic as they can be”.
He added to Sky News: “They are just an exceptional piece of showbusiness, music and popular culture memorabilia.”
Alan explained how he came to acquire the shoes in a letter which will accompany the lot.
He wrote: “The night before Elvis’ army induction in Memphis, Elvis had an all-night party at Graceland. Afterwards we went to the Rainbow roller rink.
“When we all got home Elvis called some of us upstairs and was giving away some of his clothes, he didn’t think he would be wearing or wanted when he came back from the army.
“That night Elvis gave me these blue suede shoes size 10.5. I’ve owned these all these years.”
A few weeks ago, Elvis’ personal bible sold for $120,000 at another auction.
The ‘Jail House Rock’ hitmaker kept the Christian text in his nightstand, where it was found by his cousin, Patsy Presley, when she and the singer’s dad were packing up his belongings after he passed away in 1977, and it went under the hammer in the US with GWS Auctions.
The religious text has the singer’s full name, Elvis Aaron Presley, embossed in gold, and the auction house noted it “contains a large amount of book-marked pages and underlined passages that seemingly spoke to” The King.
Among the underlined passages is one from the book of Job, 31:24-26 which reads: “If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, Thou art my confidence; If I rejoiced because my wealth was great, and because mine hand has gotten much; If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking in brightness.”
The book was accompanied by a handwritten letter from Patsy, which stated in part: “Shortly after Elvis’ passing my uncle Vernon (Elvis’ dad) and I went up into Elvis’ bedroom at Graceland to organize and pack many of his personal belongings. This Holy Bible was one of three that Elvis had on his night table. After packing them Uncle Vernon had me take them home for safe keeping and eventually gave them to me.”
Elvis was known for his faith and would often turn to the Bible to calm his nerves before saying a prayer before a show.

The brunette beauty – who plays Mabel Mora on the hit TV show – said on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’: “Meryl was a dream, truly a dream … I mean, as an actress, you can only dream to work with someone as great as her.
“But she would just dally around as if she was just part of our family. She would sing songs barefoot and talk to everyone. That was elegant – to me, that was true class.”
Paul Rudd also starred in season three of the show, and Selena admitted to having had a crush on her former co-star.

Stacy London didn’t call herself ‘lesbian’ or ‘gay’ for years for fear of judgement

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacy London identifies as a “lesbian” after years of feeling too afraid to label herself “gay”.
The ‘What Not To Wear’ co-host, 55, came out when she was 48, and is thankful to Gen Z for “breaking all the systemic rules” and allowing the LGBTQ+ community to live without “fear or shame”.
She told Us Weekly: “I came out at 48. I love the fact that people can say the words pansexual, bisexual and have it be a spectrum.
“In the ’50s and ’60s, there was none of that. When I was growing up, there were none of those words that made people feel seen.”
For years, the stylist was made to feel like she had to be “straight and perfect”.
She said: “You have Gen Z breaking all the systemic rules and me, Gen X, breathing a sigh of relief that we thought we had to be straight and perfect.
“It was only, ‘Be like a duck, calm where everyone can see and then flail underneath.’ Now I feel like we can own our identities in a universal way without fear and without shame.”
She said of America: “There’s a lot of people in this country who don’t understand that we are most bound by fear and shame when making all of our decisions, and if you take those out of the equation, there’s a lot of love there.”
Asked how she identifies, she replied: “I feel like I want to say lesbian because there aren’t enough of us.
“It’s not just about one type of lesbian culture. I want people to see the spectrum, and so I identify as such.”
It was in 2019 that she announced she was in her first serious relationship with a woman, musician Cat Yezbak, and has been with her since 2018.
She wrote at the time: “So I used to date men. Now I date her.”

Michael Jackson ‘was more than $500m in debt’

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Jackson was reportedly over $500 million in debt at the time of his death.
The pop icon died in June 2009, aged 50, after suffering a cardiac arrest, and documents seen by PEOPLE have now revealed that he owed hundreds of millions of dollars in unpaid debts.
Jackson was one of the best-selling music artists of all time – but he was also well-known for his extravagant spending habits, which included spending millions on jewellery and artwork.
Court documents show that the pop legend owed an eye-watering sum of money when he passed away. However, Jackson was writing new songs and preparing for a residency at The 02 in London, as he worked towards bringing his financial troubles back under control.
Randy Phillips – the former CEO of AEG Live, which was promoting Jackson’s London residency – previously revealed that the pop icon was determined to address his money problems.
He also suggested that Jackson – who first found fame as a child in The Jackson 5 – was “ready to stop living like a vagabond and settle down”.
Randy told Rolling Stone magazine in 2009: “He wanted people to see his work and not just talk about his lifestyle.”
Randy rubbished the idea that Jackson was “feeble and manipulated”, and he insisted that the singer was fully aware of his precarious financial situation.
He said: “Michael was a very smart marketing person.
“People say he was feeble and manipulated, but he was powerful and a manipulator. He was ready. He wanted to clean up his finances. He was ready to stop living like a vagabond and settle down and earn money again.”

Normani questioned her ‘purpose’ amid creative process

OHMYGOSSIP — Normani battled self-doubts while making her debut solo album.
The 28-year-old singer embarked on a solo career after Fifth Harmony announced their hiatus in 2018 – but Normani has faced lots of challenges and delays before she was able to release ‘Dopamine’.
During an appearance on the ‘Zach Sang Show’, Normani explained: “I deserve to enjoy what I’m doing, and I would definitely say that I wish I enjoyed this process a lot more than I did.
“But there were so many different … things attached to it. So next time I’m going to be like, ‘No, I’m going to have the best time ever.'”
Normani feels her new album is the best record she could’ve made in the circumstances she’s faced.
The singer – who first found stardom as a teenager – shared: “I’m looking forward to enjoying myself more and being able to be present.
“But I did the best I could with what I was given. Like, the cards that I was dealt – it was a lot.”
Normani sees her new album as a testament to her own “resilience”.
The ‘Motivation’ hitmaker admitted to questioning her own purpose in life amid her struggles.
She said: “I think releasing this project symbolises so much more. Like, it’s a testament to me being with me this whole time, and me not giving up on myself. And my resilience, because there’s plenty of times … that I honestly didn’t know if the project was going to come out, or if people still cared, or this was still where god called me.
“I questioned a lot my purpose in this throughout the process.”
