OHMYGOSSIP — Imagine Dragons star Dan Reynolds and Minka Kelly were brought “a lot closer” after she shared her deepest vulnerabilities with him and vice-versa.
The ‘Radioactive’ hitmaker got to know everything about his partner’s past when they were long distance, as she decided to share her memoir, ‘Tell Me Everything’, with him, which saw her open up on her painful childhood, homelessness, and abortion.
Dan shared with PEOPLE: “She’s like, ‘Well, if you’re going to share your art, I can share something with you, but it’s very vulnerable for me. Do you want to do this or not?’
“She was very scared for me to read the book because we hadn’t met, just as much as I was scared for her to hear a song that I’d written.
“But we shared it and then it ended up being a really beautiful thing and brought us a lot closer. I think it helped us both kind of understand each other on a deeper level quite quickly.”
Dan admits it was a “really strange” way for them to meet and get to know each other.
The musician said: “I was hearing all her life stories from youth to now, and she had a really hard, colourful, beautiful life.
“Getting to read it all before you even meet somebody… I’ve never had that kind of introduction to someone.”
Before embarking on a relationship with the ‘Believer’ hitmaker, Minka dated Trevor Noah, but they split in May 2022.
Dan split from his ex-wife Aja Volkman, 44 – with whom he has daughters Arrow, 11, Gia and Coco, seven, and son Valentine, four – the same year.
Dan and Aja split in 2018 but later reconciled, and then in September 2022, Dan confirmed they had gone their separate ways.
In a social media statement, he said at the time: “I am saddened to say that after many beautiful years together Aja and I have separated.
“Being great parents to our children is our number one priority. Thank you for always supporting us with love and care for all these years.”
In 2021, Dan recalled how he hadn’t spoken to his spouse for seven months and was “driving to the lawyer’s office to sign the divorce papers” in 2018 when Aja sent him a text that ultimately saved their marriage.
He said the text had “turned [his] perspective upside down”.
Dan shared at the time: “She said she didn’t need to own me to love me. She loved me without expectations.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Scooter Braun is dating actress Rachelle Goulding.
The 43-year-old retiring music manager and the 38-year-old ‘Firefly Lane’ star – who previously dated ‘Gossip Girl’ star Chace Crawford, also 38 – have been hanging out at Napa Valley and the Stagecoach music festival in recent months and are said to be getting “very serious”.
An insider told the New York Post’s Page Six column: “They have been exclusively dating for about three months now.
“It’s very serious and he’s excited about it.”
The entrepreneur – who worked with Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato during his career – recently took to social media to announce that he’s retiring from music management after 23 years.
He wrote on Instagram: “I have been blessed to have had a ‘Forrest Gump’-like life while witnessing and taking part in the journeys of some of the most extraordinarily talented people the world has ever seen. I’m constantly pinching myself and asking ‘how did I get here?’ And after 23 years this chapter as a music manager has come to an end (sic)”
Scooter – who has sons Levi and Jagger, and daughter Hart with his ex-wife Yael Cohen – is now determined to focus more on his family life.
The businessman – who will remain the CEO of entertainment firm HYBE America – wrote: “It’s a strange feeling because I think I have wanted this for a while, but I was truly afraid to answer the question ‘who would I be without them?’ I was really just 19 years old when I started. So for my entire adult life I played the role of an artist manager on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And for 20 years I loved it. It’s all I had known.
“But as my children got older, and my personal life took some hits, I came to the realization that my kids were 3 superstars I wasn’t willing to lose. (sic)”
Scooter contemplated stepping away from management for some time.
He shared: “You see, life doesn’t hand you YOUR plan, it hands you GOD’s plan. And God has been pushing my in this direction for some time. (sic)”
Many of his A-list clients parted ways from him in the build-up to his retirement news and he has recently been the subject of the docuseries ‘Taylor Swift vs. Scooter Braun: Bad Blood’ about his feud with Taylor Swift.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Washington regrets being so public about her last relationship.
The ‘Scandal’ actress and her husband Nnamdi Asomugha have largely kept their relationship out of the public eye and Kerry admitted that was a direct response to her last romance, with former fiance David Moscow, which ended in 2007.
She told Bustle: “BN — Before Nnamdi — I was in a very public relationship and engagement, like I was on the cover of a bridal magazine. When that relationship ended, I thought, Going forward, I need to have a different kind of boundary, so that my relationships can belong to me. So even in the years of dating after that, I was very private, which was good, because those were my wild years.
“When I met my husband, he was also very private. It was a shared value. We started dating right before ‘Scandal’, and he had been on the cover of Sports Illustrated. We both wanted to protect our relationship. By the time people started talking trash, we were happily married and pregnant. He was massaging my feet while we were laughing about some story on the internet about him partying at the Super Bowl without me. We’d built so much trust that those attacks didn’t put a dent in what we’d created together.”
And, both Kerry, 47, and Nnamdi, 42 want their children – 10-year-old daughter Isabelle, son Caleb, seven, and the former NFL player’s teenage daughter, who he has with a previous partner – to be able to choose if they want a public life.
Kerry said: “I want them to make decisions about [that] when their brains are fully developed. I’m not making it for them. They didn’t choose to be born into the public eye.”
Kerry previously said she keeps her children out of the spotlight so they can “define a life for themselves”.
She told PEOPLE magazine: “I think just from the very beginning, Nnamdi and I have been really protective of our partnership and our relationship, because we wanted it to belong to us, and we found that we were able to define and create a relationship for ourselves and with each other outside of the public eye.
“And I think in many ways, we just want to give our kids that same opportunity to define a life for themselves and to enter the public space in their own way.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Billy Ray Cyrus is “happy to be out of [his] marriage” to Firerose.
The 62-year-old star filed for divorce from the 37-year-old musician in May, just seven months after their wedding, and while he cited irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct as the reasons for the split, friends say Billy Ray just wants to “to put all the drama in the past”.
A source told PEOPLE: “He has a good support system. He’s happy in Nashville and doing well. He’s with close friends and he has great contact with [his daughter] Noah. He’s happy to be out of the marriage.
“[He feels like the relationship was] all a scam and he feels lucky that he figured it all out.”
Meanwhile, Firerose has alleged that Billy Ray continually screamed at her and made her feel like a prisoner at their remote farm just outside Nashville.
She told the New York Post’s Page Six: “Billy had very strict rules. I didn’t have a car. I was only allowed to go to the local chiropractor and allowed once a month to get my nails done… it was systematic isolation and I couldn’t find the courage to leave.
“If I had to send a text, I had to read it out to him for permission. It was the same for email.”
Firerose added the stress became so bad she passed out two days before their wedding last October and was taken to the hospital.
She also claimed Billy Ray would give her the silent treatment for hours and sometimes days, adding: “I withdrew… I was afraid to talk.”
Despite her claims, court documents filed in Tennessee earlier this month showed Billy Ray claims he was the one “physically”, verbally and emotionally abused by his ex – who was born Johanna Rose Hodges.
He also used the filing to deny “mind boggling” allegations it was him who was abusive to Firerose.
The papers state: “While the Plaintiff would acknowledge that he was certainly vocal, frustrated and angry with the Defendant in May 2024, it is the plaintiff who, in fact, has been abused.
“Not only verbally and emotionally by the Defendant, but PHYSICALLY abused by Defendant.”
In an affidavit, Billy Ray’s manager Scott Adkins claimed he witnessed the abuse toward the singer.
Firerose filed legal papers on 14 July saying Billy Ray filed for divorce in May one day before she was set to undergo a preventative double mastectomy.
The Australian says in her complaint she was diagnosed as a carrier of the BRCA1 gene mutation in early 2020 and her doctors “highly recommended” she undergo the procedure and a breast reconstruction, with the singer scheduling her first surgery for 24 May.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner reportedly feels “protective” of her relationship with Timothee Chalamet.
The 26-year-old reality TV star has been dating the ‘Dune’ actor since last year and he has yet to make an appearance on her family’s show ‘The Kardashians’ amid reports Kylie is determined to keep the romance as private as possible as they strive to make their long-distance love affair work.
A source told PEOPLE: “Kylie is protective of the relationship, but whenever she talks about him, she has a huge smile. She really likes so many things about him.”
The pair have been kept apart by work commitments recently as Timothee has decamped to New York to film his Bob Dylan biopic ‘ A Complete Unknown’ while Kylie remains in California with her two young children from a previous relationship.
However, they are believed to be working hard to keep the romance going by flying back and forth to see each other regularly.
The insider added to PEOPLE: “Things are great with Timothee. Kylie is happy.

OHMYGOSSIP — Tori Spelling’s estranged husband Dean McDermott is celebrating a year since he got sober.
The 57-year-old actor – who split from Tori last summer after 18 years together – has revealed he got clean exactly 12 months ago after spending time in a drug and alcohol treatment centre which he has credited with saving his life.
In a post on Instagram, Dean wrote: “Last week was an incredible week of love, hugs and recovery. Thank you to my Sponsor, my Sponsee Brothers and everyone in the fellowship for celebrating my 1 year birthday.

He explained: “This was a game changer in my recovery. I didn’t give self love the time of day. I thought it was granola spiritual BS. I thought I was a piece of SH@T and would always be one.
“Was I ever wrong. For those of you out there suffering, give yourself a break, find forgiveness for yourself and your actions. You are not your addiction. Much love.”
Tori, 50, filed for divorce from Dean in March – nine months after the ‘Due South’ actor first revealed the couple were no longer together – and she later admitted she stayed in the marriage for “longer” than she should have because she worries her status will prevent her from ever finding a happy relationship.
During an episode of her ‘misSpelling’ podcast, Tori explained: “One of my biggest fears, and this perhaps did make me stay longer, is I feel like in our world it’s difficult to be with a man and have him not feel emasculated. Not by our doing, but by who we are and have been labeled by society.”

The 29-year-old rapper believes the 42-year-old superstar has what it takes to unite the nation and doesn’t think she should even have to campaign.
During an interview with Shannon Sharpe on ‘Club Shay Shay’, Megan said: “I love her. She is like THE woman. Beyoncé is THE person.
“Beyoncé could be the President without running if she chose to.
“If Beyoncé announced, ‘I want to run this s***,’ I think we’ll all just get in line and be like, ‘OK. Write Beyoncé’s name on the ballot’.”
Megan also credited Beyoncé as the inspiration behind her tequila brand, saying the star encouraged her to start her own.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ioan Gruffudd’s ex-wife Alice Evans claims she needs to apply for “food stamps and welfare” payments because she can’t afford to feed her kids.
The actor filed for divorce from Alice – the mother of his children Ella, 14, and 10-year-old Elsie – in March 2021 after 14 years of marriage – with the split finalised in July last year but the pair have been involved in a bitter legal battle over child custody and money issues.
Now Alice, 55, alleges Ioan hasn’t paid her any child support since May and she’s “struggling” to find the cash to buy food. In legal papers filed in court on July 1 – and obtained by the Daily Mail newspaper – Alice wrote: “While I am struggling to put food on the table for the children, Ioan is jet setting around the world … ”
The former couple had been due to take part in hearings over child support and spousal support payments in April, but it’s been delayed until later this year and Alice claims she faces applying for public assistance unless the court can ask her ex to make “guideline” payments until their issues are resolved.
She added: “I cannot wait months for a trial to receive child support and spousal support … I have drained all of my personal savings paying my prior attorneys in this case … As it stands I am behind on rent and utility payments and friends have started dropping off groceries and food so the children can eat. I will be applying for food stamps and welfare.”
According to the newspaper, a lawyer for Alice added in the latest legal filing: “Alice is applying for public assistance because she is unable to support herself and the children … It appears that the financial trial will be several months away and Alice will not be able to survive without the receipt of guideline spousal support.
“Ioan has the ability to pay spousal support based upon his greater ability to earn income and his ongoing lavish lifestyle. For these reasons, Alice requests guideline child and spousal support.”
In the papers, Alice says Ioan has been busy jetting around the world to promote his latest movie ‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’ and claims he has been able to buy new Rolex watches for himself and his fiancee Bianca Wallace as well as her “expensive engagement ring”.
Ioan announced his engagement to Bianca in January and she recently cleared up speculation about when the romance started by revealing they didn’t get together until four months after the actor split from Alice.
In her post on Instagram, Bianca added: “There’s something different and deeper, something so special about a relationship that is built within the midst of pain, chaos and fire… To everyone who knows what we have gone through, to those who have gone through it themselves and survived – How lucky are we?

OHMYGOSSIP — Perrie Edwards has no sense of smell.
The former Little Mix star never knew about her condition until her kitchen went on fire and she couldn’t smell the smoke.
Speaking to Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett on the ‘Dish from Waitrose’ podcast, Perrie explained: “It’s so weird. They did so many tests on me growing up, but the thing is, I didn’t know I had no sense of smell. So I’d grow up and like me and my brother, at one point we shared a room, we had bunk beds, and he’d be like, ‘Oh, mum’s making bacon butties,’ and I’d be like, ‘How do you know that?’ And like, he’d walk in and go, ‘Mum’s making spag bol,’ and I’d think, wow, he’s powerful. How does he know this information? It used to honestly-really confused me as a child, and I never thought oh he can smell it.
“And one time our house was on fire. I couldn’t smell it. Yeah, our kitchen had set on fire. No, I saw the black smoke come under the door. And then I started coughing and then I was like, [gasps], ‘cause it takes your breath away. So then at that point my mum took me to the hospital. And they, no, they did tests on me, so I could taste everything. But I couldn’t smell. So they were like, there must be a disconnect going from my nose to my brain or something. And I’m not, I’m not understanding the process, but I can taste everything, which is why I love food so much. Praise the Lord.”
Perrie, 30, even had surgery to correct her condition but it only worked temporarily.
She said: “And I had surgery, came out, had big tampons in my nose, recovered for a while. And then I swear to God I could smell coffee. I woke up and smelled the coffee. That’s what happened. I came round. And then after that, nothing again. And then they said to my mum, usually these procedures, you have to do them twice, and I was like, I’m not going through that again. I don’t care. Like, if I had it and lost it, fair enough. But I’ve never had it, so why care?”

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Mescal worried he would look “more like an underwear model than a warrior” after transforming his body for ‘Gladiator 2’.
The 28-year-old actor landed the starring role in the sequel to Sir Ridley Scott’s Oscar-winning 2000 epic and he decided to buff up because he wanted to look “big and strong” to play Lucius Verus in Ancient Rome – and insists he wanted his muscles to be more than just aesthetic.
He told Vanity Fair magazine: “I just wanted to be big and strong and look like somebody who can cause a bit of damage when s*** hits the fan. I think also, sometimes, one could, in striving for that perfect look, end up looking more like an underwear model than a warrior …
“Muscles start to grow, and that can be deemed aesthetic in certain capacities, but there is something about feeling strong in your body that elicits just a different feeling. You carry yourself differently.
“It has an impact on you psychologically in a way that is useful for the film.”
His ripped new body earned him the nickname “Brick Wall Paul” from his co-star Pedro Pascal, who admits their fight scenes were pretty daunting.
Pedro, 49, told the publication: “I call him Brick Wall Paul. He got so strong. I would rather be thrown from a building than have to fight him again.
“To go up against somebody that fit and that talented and that much younger . Outside of Ridley being a total genius, Paul is a big reason as to why I would put my poor body through that experience.”
It comes after Paul admitted the ‘Gladiator’ sequel was the first big film he was really interesting in signing up for after shooting to fame in the hit TV adaptation of Sally Rooney’s ‘Normal People’.
He told AnOther magazine: “The script for ‘Gladiator’ lands in your lap, and you simply can’t turn it down. Getting to work on a big-scale film like this, especially under the direction of Ridley Scott, is a straightforward decision.
“Until now, I hadn’t really encountered any major movies that piqued my interest.”
The ‘All of Us Strangers’ star has repeatedly said he is feeling the pressure of ensuring the movie is a box office hit. He explained: “The decision feels incredibly appropriate. There’s also so much I can learn.
“This is the first time I’ve felt concerned about something like box office performance – a completely new kind of pressure for me. Ridley directs with a distinct, rapid pace that’s both dynamic and impressive. His clarity in knowing exactly what he wants is reminiscent of sports, satisfying in a similar way.””

OHMYGOSSIP — Julie Chrisley will need “lots of therapy” following her release from prison, according to her daughter Savannah.
The ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ star and her husband Todd were jailed in 2023 after being found guilty of 12 counts of tax evasion and fraud with Todd, 54, sentenced to 12 years behind bars and Julie, 50, ordered to serve seven, but a judge recently overturned Julie’s sentence giving Savanah hope her mum could be let out of prison early.
However, Savannah is convinced getting back to normal life is going to be “tough”. In the latest episode of her ‘Unlocked’ podcast, Savannah said: “[Julie will need] lots of therapy …
“Anything I can do to help her get in the best space she could possibly ever be in, that’s what I’m gonna do. Because I can only imagine how she’s gonna feel coming home, and it’s gonna be overwhelming.”
Julie’s conviction was upheld but her sentence was overturned by a three-judge panel of the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals last month and her case will now be sent back to a lower court for resentencing.
However, when news of a release date comes through, Savannah is planning to keep it secret so Julie can readjust to the outside world in private.
She said: “When I get the call that she can come home, I honestly don’t think I’m gonna tell anyone.”
Savannah also revealed she had a conversation with Julie about a potential return home, revealing the TV personality is scared about being left alone.
She explained: “[Julie] was like, ‘You know, you can’t leave me when I come home. Right?’ And I was like, ‘What do you mean? She was like, ‘I mean, I know you wanna have your own life, and I want you to do that … But for the first few months, you’re gonna have to stay with me. Like, we’re gonna have to get adjusted’ …
“Just to watch my parents become so institutionalised. You’re not referring to yourself like that. You are a person, and you’re worth more than the things that you’re saying to yourself.”
While Julie is set to get a new sentence, Todd’s was appeal was rejected by the court so he is likely to stay in prison for the remainder of his 12-year term.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bridgerton’s casting director has been inundated with X-rated audition tapes.
Kelly Valentine Henry, the casting director for the racy Netflix drama, revealed she has received many unsolicited videos from actors who are eager to gain a starring role in the upcoming season four.
Speaking on the ‘Should I Delete That’ podcast, she said: “It’s every day … I get the most unbelievable videos, unsolicited.
“It’s sex basically, it’s not actual sex but it’s quite punchy. It’s not nudey pictures, but not far off.”
She added of the lengths people will go to: “It’s a bit sad, really, I don’t understand.”
Meanwhile, Nicola Coughlan previously revealed she and Luke Newton worked “really hard” on their ‘Bridgerton’ kissing scenes.
The 37-year-old actress kisses Luke in season three of the Netflix series, and Nicola revealed how she prepared for their first kissing scene.
The actress – who plays Penelope Featherington in the period drama – told HELLO! magazine: “When Luke and I read the books at the beginning of season one, it was funny for us to imagine what it would be like if we had to kiss.
“Then season three comes around and we were like: ‘This is it. I have to kiss my friend!’ And we really had to kiss.
“It’s a spicy one, but Luke made me feel taken care of. We had each other’s backs and worked really hard to make it sexy and feel real.”
Despite this, Nicola and Luke both struggled to contain their laughter about their love scenes.
The actress shared: “When it was done, we had a good laugh about it.

OHMYGOSSIP — Perrie Edwards was “tired” by the end of Little Mix.
After 10 years together, Little Mix – comprised of Perrie, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall – announced they were going on hiatus in 2022 and Perrie admitted the years of performing and the drama when Jesy Nelson quit in 2020, left her ready for a break.
Speaking to Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett on the ‘Dish from Waitrose’ podcast, Perrie explained: “Oh gosh. I think it was like a gradual thing. I don’t think it was like an overnight, I’m gonna go solo now, cause I never knew what I would do in my future. I just knew that Little Mix had me tired. Yes, I think it kind of- well we lost a member. And then we were like, well, what do we do now, like, do we keep going? Do we not? And then we continued, we did another tour. And then it was kind of like the farewell.
“And the thing is, like, we love each other and we’re so supportive of each other and we just want to see each other win. So it wasn’t like, do you know what? You’re driving me nuts. I need a break. It was almost like we’ve done this for so long now, we were babies, like I was seventeen when I was put in the band.”
Perrie said she doesn’t even remember her life before Little Mix and she wanted the break and time to spend with her son, two-year-old Axel, and fiance Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
She said: “It’s like, that’s all we ever knew in my life was Little Mix. That’s basically all I remember, like, I don’t really remember much of my life before them. And I think we just gradually came to like the decision that we were like, yeah, let’s try something new. OHMYGOSSIP — King Charles bestowed special honours on Queen Camilla and Edward, Duke of Edinburgh at a ceremony in Scotland.
The monarch inducted his wife and his brother to the Order of the Thistle – Scotland’s greatest order of chivalry – making them Royal Knights of the Order during a service at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh on Wednesday (03.07.24) which was attended by William, Prince of Wales and Prince Edward’s wife Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.
The appointments were made as gifts from the King, who is the sovereign of the Order, and he was present at the service in Scotland alongside his family members.
Among the royals unable to attend the service were Princess Anne, who is recovering at home following a stint in hospital after an accident involving a horse, and Catherine, Princess of Wales, who has been undergoing chemotherapy treatment following her cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
Inductees to the order are chosen for making contributions to Scottish life. Camilla is patron of a number of charities based in Scotland, while Edward was chosen to mark his 60th birthday earlier this year and to honour his commitment to the Duke of Edinburgh award and the National Youth Orchestras of Scotland.
Others who were inducted into the order during Wednesday’s service included forensic anthropologist Baroness Sue Black, human rights activist Sir Geoff Palmer and women’s rights campaigner Baroness Helena Kennedy – who were all handpicked by the King.
During the monarch’s annual trip to Scotland, the King and Queen will also attend an event commemorating the 900th anniversary of the Edinburgh Castle. It’s believed the itinerary has been shortened to avoid overshadowing the UK general election, which takes place on Thursday (04.07.24).

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are “very serious about each other”.
The 34-year-old singer/ songwriter and the Kansas City Chiefs player, 34, first went public with their relationship almost one year ago and since then they have gone from strength to strength.
A source told PEOPLE: “They really are very, very happy together. They’re very serious about each other, and the relationship feels different for both of them.
“They have so much fun together, and it just works. It’s funny to their friends because at first everyone wondered what they had in common, but you see how similar they are. They both wear their hearts on their sleeves and are all-in with everything they do, whether it’s with career, family or friends.”
Travis is due to report to training camp for the Super Bowl winning Chiefs on July 21 but his relationship with Taylor is still a huge priority.
The source said: “Football is definitely still his priority but so is his relationship. He makes romantic gestures to show he’s thinking of her when they’re apart. She’s going to try to attend as many games as possible.”
And, Travis was “thrilled” to join Taylor in Europe for her ‘Eras’ tour and join her on stage in London.
A second insider said: “They loved being onstage together. He is confident and fun, and it was one of her tour highlights.”
Speaking previously about their relationship, Travis talked about how supportive Taylor is.
He told the ‘Bussin’ With the Boys’ podcast: “She understands situations like that, and I think that’s why I really started to really fall for her, was how genuine she is around friends, family. It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention, and she just keeps it so chill and so cool. . . . She wants to be a part of it. She wants to support me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Roberts has found love again after giving up dating actors.
The ‘American Horror Story’ actress has a three-year-old son with ‘Tron: Legacy’ star Garrett Hedlund – who she split from in 2022 – and she was previously in a relationship with her TV co-star Evan Peters, but Emma has revealed she no longer wants to date anyone who works in front of the camera and now has a new boyfriend whose job is “entertainment industry-adjacent – not an actor”, according to Flaunt magazine.
Emma, 33, told the publication: “One day the veil was lifted and I didn’t want to date actors anymore. It’s hard, I think, for two actors to be together.
“I’m trying to think if I’ve seen it done successfully. Also, the actors I’ve been with border on method actors, and that is something that I think is extremely difficult to be in a relationship with – at least for me, especially the characters that they were playing.”
She did not reveal any more details about her new mystery man, only explaining he is “online”, joking: “If you want to send a girl crazy, don’t have Instagram.”
Emma went on to explain she feels grateful to have grown up in the era before social media and now only uses apps like Instagram for “fun”.
She said: “I feel like, in a way I got to hang on to some innocence longer. I know everyone has a different take on how celebrities or people should be online and how serious they should be.
“My social media is for fun, it’s for reading, it’s for fashion, but if you want to get really deep with me or know what I think about things, you’re not going to see it posted on my social media.”
It comes after the actress insisted she finds fame “scary” after seeing the effect it had on the life of her famous aunt, Julia Roberts, as well as her actor dad Eric Roberts.
Emma – who made her acting debut aged nine in 2001’s ‘Blow’ alongside Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz – told the ‘Table for Two’ podcast with Bruce Bozzi: “(I) saw very up close what (being famous) really looks like [with Julia].
“It’s obviously fun and it’s great but there is a part of it that’s really scary. [For me], fame has never been the goal, because fame at a certain level is kind of scary … when you’ve seen fame like that up close and you see what that really does to people (and) their families.”
