Stanley Kubrick estate leads tributes to The Shining star Shelley Duvall

OHMYGOSSIP — Stanley Kubrick’s estate has led the tributes to Shelley Duvall.
The late director – who died in 1999 at the age of 70 – was at the helm of the 1980 classic horror ‘The Shining’ and following the news that leading actress Shelley Duvall had passed away herself on Thursday (11.07.24), his estate took to social media to remember her.
A post on X read: “Shelley Duvall, legendary character actor, and The Shining’s extraordinary Wendy Torrance has died at the age of 75. Shelley’s career was varied and long.
“Despite being dogged with exaggerations of her treatment on set, Shelley was always vocal about her experience filming The Shining saying she “wouldn’t trade it for anything” because “working with loveable Stanley was a fascinating learning experience.”
“Our thoughts are with Shelley’s friends and family.”
Other big names to pay tribute to the late actress included ‘Daisy Jones and the Six’ star Riley Keough, who hailed Shelley a ‘legend’ whilst Rachel Zegler of ‘West Side Story’ fame simply posted a broken-hearted emoji on social media.

Chace Crawford ‘almost had a panic attack’ over octopus sex scene

OHMYGOSSIP — Chace Crawford “almost had a panic attack” before filming a sex scene with an octopus.
The ‘Gossip Girl’ star plays superhero ‘The Deep’ in Amazon Prime show ‘The Boys’ and the character was seen onscreen having sexual relations with an octopus called Ambrosius – who is voiced by Tilda Swinton – and Chase admits he was particularly nervous when the time came to disrobe and get intimate with the sea creature.
He told Rolling Stone magazine: “It’s so funny and brilliant now, but when that came up, I was like, ‘Oh God, how’s this going to work?’
“[I was] in total denial about it … And then it got 24 hours out from the first day I had to shoot it and I almost had a panic attack.”
Chase decided to talk it over with showrunner Eric Kripke and they managed to put together a plan to make the scene less worrying for the actor.
He added: “I called Eric Kripke – he’s so great. He’s got a million things going on but his door’s always open. So I was worried about the scene.
“I’m like, ‘How are we gonna do this? What are the angles gonna be? How naked do I have to be?’ He changed one shot for me. And it was great.”
Chase explained he didn’t get to work with an intimacy coordinator for his big moment with the octopus but it was filmed on a closed set – calling the scene “so funny and weird”.
Since the scene aired, Chase has been “ragged on a little bit” by his pals but he’s pleased the overall reaction to the scene was positive.
Kripke previously revealed how he went about casting Swinton as the octopus love interest, telling Variety the show’s writers wanted “the classiest, Oscar-winningest, British actress we can get our hands on”.
He added: “And that’s a really short list. And Dame Judi Dench was unavailable.”

Kylie Jenner ‘fighting’ to keep Timothee Chalamet off reality show

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner is reportedly “fighting” to keep her actor boyfriend Timothee Chalamet out of her family’s reality show.
The 26-year-old TV star has been in front of the camera since she was a child appearing on E! series ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ and she remains part of the cast of their new Hulu version ‘The Kardashians’ but she’s said to be determined not to give in to her mum Kris Jenner’s desire to involve Timothee.
An insider told DailyMail.com: “Kylie and Timothee are going so well because Kylie is not putting ultimatums on him to be a part of the Kardashians TV show …
“Kris would love for Timothee to flaunt Kylie everywhere – but Kylie is making sure to fight this because she actually doesn’t want to make it more of a spectacle than it already is.
“She wants to nurture the relationship and have it last …”
The source also revealed the relationship is serious and an engagement is “on the table” but won’t happen any time soon.
They added: “He wants to be with Kylie for a long time. ‘When are the babies coming? When is the engagement? When is the future wedding?’ Though those things are definitely on the table, it is not something for the immediate future.”
The couple has been dating since last year but they have been kept apart by work commitments recently as Timothee has decamped to New York to film his Bob Dylan biopic ‘ A Complete Unknown’ while Kylie remains in California with her two young children from a previous relationship.
However, they are believed to be working hard to keep the romance going by flying back and forth to see each other regularly.
An insider recently told PEOPLE: “Things are great with Timothee. Kylie is happy.
“They are both busy, but making time to see each other, especially on the weekends. He’s been working in N.Y.C. She’s visited him and he’s also been back to L.A. some weekends. They’re making it work.”

Brian Blessed plans to go into space

OHMYGOSSIP — Brian Blessed has “every intention” of going into space.
The 87-year-old actor is proud to have undergone cosmonaut training in Russia and is still awaiting a call to get blasted off out of the earth.
Discussing a typical day, he told the Sunday Times magazine: “For lunch I’ll have a cheese omelette and more yoghurts, then it’ll be back into my gymnasium to lift some heavy weights.
“Then I’ll go to my shed, where I might have invited a sporting or scientific champion over to have a chat.
“I had Stephen Hawking in there once and he said to me, “They want to put me into space, Brian. What do you think?” And I replied, “Well, Stephen, you may as well f******go!”
“I have every intention of going to space too. I’m the oldest person to have trained at Moscow’s Star City to become a cosmonaut. The call could come any day.”
Despite his advancing years, the ‘Flash Gordon’ actor is “abnormally fit” and insisted he feels “ageless”.
He said: “I’m always in training for something, whether it’s another expedition to the magnetic North Pole or Everest, and I bench-press 300lb. I’m a black belt in judo and I’ve always had huge strength.
“I’m abnormally fit and abnormally cheerful.
“What I find most intolerable is when people make a pact with old age. Don’t do it. I feel ageless.”
Brian’s wife Hildegarde Neil passed away last year and the screen legend – who has daughter Catherine from his first marriage and Rosalind with his late spouse – gets “lonely” at times.
He said: “Breakfast for me will be yoghurt — I eat tons of the stuff. I love Bulgarian yoghurt, although eating alone takes some getting used to.
“I do feel quite lonely at times but I’ve got lots of friends to talk to. I had a lovely chat with Michael Palin recently at the Royal Geographical Society, as he lost his wife last year too.
” I still feel my wife’s presence and continue the adventurous life we used to enjoy together.”
However, the ‘I, Claudius’ star is content ni his own company.
He said: “I eat dinner at about seven, something simple like soup, and then I’m often quite antisocial in the evening.
“I don’t have dinner parties, although I do see Kenneth Branagh a lot. We have a father-son relationship — I’m the son.
“But I love my own company.
“I’m a curious mixture of contradictions but I strongly believe that it’s important to be mad. To allow yourself to be a bit mad is very healthy.”

Sir Rod Stewart will ‘never’ retire

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Rod Stewart “will never retire”.
The 79-year-old singer still gets “great pleasure” from his career and his wife, Penny Lancaster, 53, admitted he is a “workaholic” who even she has trouble keeping up with.
Rod told Britain’s HELLO! magazine: “I don’t see any possibility of slowing down anytime soon.
“And as I get older, I only really want to do things that give me great pleasure.”
Penny – with whom Rod has sons Alastair, 18, and 13-year-old Aiden – added: “He loves what he does so much and will never retire.
“He’s a workaholic and constantly on the move. I struggle to keep up with his training schedule. He works out three or four times a week – even on tour.”
The ‘Maggie May’ hitmaker has six other children from previously relationships and while it takes “a lot of planning” to get the whole family together, Rod and Penny love seeing them all at once – though they need “diplomacy” and “understanding” to keep things running smoothly.
Penny said: “We like to take every opportunity to bring the family, children, and grandchildren together. Part of the family lives in America, part in England, so it requires a lot of planning, but at least two or three times a year, the whole clan comes together…
“There are the usual family ups and downs. You have to use a lot of diplomacy, be patient and understanding. In the end it’s worth it because you experience this wonderful bond that only a family can have. The epicentre of it is ultimately Rod: he’s the Rodfather.”
Rod believes he is a much more “present” dad now than he was decades ago.
He said: “I used to be much more preoccupied with myself and my career. But I’ve learnt from my mistakes and am more present.”
And the ‘Loose Women’ presenter credits her husband’s big family for keeping him young at heart.
She said: “I think it’s family. Especially the younger generation. They give him strength and drive.
“He’s not your average 79-year-old man. He can’t sit still and is always on the go. I like to treat myself to a facial or a massage. He can’t do that. He can’t have a massage for more than half an hour; he gets up and leaves.”
The couple met in 1999 and married in 2007, and still have a “healthy attraction” to one another.
Penny gushed: “You need a healthy attraction. Rod and I can have dinner in a crowded room or just the two of us – we always have eyes for each other. There’s this look, this connection, this message without words.”

Lily Allen was accused of seducing the boyfriend of an ‘incredibly beautiful A-lister’

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Allen was once accused of trying to seduce the boyfriend of a “successful and incredibly beautiful A-lister”.
The 39-year-old star has revealed how she was left shaken and determined to get revenge on the mystery celebrity after the incident, which occurred when she was alone at Sir Elton John’s house in France with the couple after being sent there in an attempt to combat her excessive drinking.
Speaking on her Miss Me? podcast with Miquita Oliver, Lily said: “This was when I was managed by Elton John’s company and I’d been sent to his house in the south of France to like dry out for a couple of weeks.
“And while I was there I got a phone call from somebody very famous at the time asking me if I could perform at a charity event that they were involved in – she was asking me to sing a song with her boyfriend, who was a musician.
“I said, ‘I’d love to but it’s next week and I haven’t got any time to rehearse because I’m in the south of France.’ She was like, ‘Don’t worry, we’ll come out there and we’ll rehearse with you.'”
However, the rehearsal took a turn for the worse when the ‘Not Fair’ singer was accused of plotting to seduce the unnamed star’s partner – who she did not find “remotely attractive” – when she proposed the idea of rehearsing alone with him.
Lily recalled: “They come to the south of France, they arrive, and it’s like late afternoon and she’s like, ‘I think you guys should sing ‘The Sound of Silence’.’
“And I was like, ‘Ooh, I don’t know about that, I really don’t want to – that’s out of my comfort zone.’ And she got the right hump.
“I was like, ‘I think maybe we would be better suited to doing something like ‘Something Stupid’.’
“I said, ‘Look, I’ll go downstairs with your boyfriend and we’ll practice the song and then we’ll come up and then we’ll sing it for you and see how you feel about it.’
“And she grabbed my arm and she said, ‘If you think I’m leaving you alone with my f****** boyfriend you’ve got another thing coming.'”
Lily described how she took her revenge after by making the famous face present her with an award at a prestigious ceremony.
She explained: “And then they said, ‘Is there anybody that you would like to present you with the said award?’ I was like, ‘At what point in the proceedings does this award get awarded?’ And they were like it’s the penultimate award.
“I was like, ‘There is no way this person will be able to hold themselves together for that long and if I can stay sober then she’ll have to present me with the award when I’m looking pristine and brilliant and she looks completely f*****.
“And it f****** worked. Front cover of the papers the next day were like, ‘So and so was a complete mess’, and then pictures of me with my award.”

Shania Twain had to eat ‘mouldy’ bread during impoverished childhood

OHMYGOSSIP — Shania Twain used to survive on “mouldy” bread and mustard.
The ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’ hitmaker may be a millionaire now, but her childhood in Ontario was blighted by poverty, with her mother Sharon struggling with depression and her stepfather Jerry Twain facing racial discrimination in his attempts to find work, so there was little food to spare for the family, which also included the singer’s four half-siblings.
She told You magazine: “It was an event in our house to have a grocery day.
“Sometimes two to three weeks would go by without groceries.
“We’d be down to mouldy bread, whatever the absolute bare minimum would be. If there was only mustard in the fridge, we would just put mustard on the bread and take that to school.”
To bring more money into the home, Sharon began taking Shania to perform in bars when she was just eight years old, where they quickly learned loopholes in laws to enable her gig to happen.
The young Shania wasn’t allowed to perform while alcohol was still being served, but after last orders, between midnight and 1am, she could go on stage once the audience had “loaded up” with beer and whisky.
She recalled: “It was uncomfortable. It was loud. It was smoky – like, really smoky. Always smelly, you know? Beer and alcohol – stale alcohol.”
Sometimes the ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman’ singer’s stepfather would accompany her and Sharon, but at other times he would ban them from going but Shania’s mother sneaked them out anyway, causing more problems.
She explained: “‘If he had a job and had work the next morning, how was he supposed to get there if we took the gas and I didn’t get paid anything? This was the Russian roulette that my mother was playing at times. That went wrong. Often.
“They would get violent. It would be a fight, which was very dangerous and very traumatic for everybody in the house. It was not unusual to have the police show up at the door in the middle of the night. So, yeah! A lot of mixed feelings about my mother wanting to have the next Tanya Tucker!”
Jerry sexually abused Shania, now 58, from the age of 10, and that was what turned her to songwriting.
She said: “Whenever I’m going through something difficult in my life, I tend to process those times through writing. The purpose, I guess, is the joy and the relief that it brings me. It’s like how kids do colouring.
“I’ve been angry… but I’ve always been a very productive person.
“I don’t think I’ve ever had anger issues. I think it’s my character.
“I don’t take credit for overcoming anger. I don’t even take credit for not holding a grudge. It’s just part of my character.”

Cara Delevingne had ‘no idea’ who Bruce Springsteen was

OHMYGOSSIP — Cara Delevingne posed for a photo of Bruce Springsteen – but had “no idea” who he was.
The 31-year-old model-turned-actress has learned a lot about music from her girlfriend Minke – whose real name is Leah Mason – but her partner was horrified when they had a backstage brush with the ‘Born in the USA’ hitmaker and she didn’t appreciate being in the presence of a legend.
She told the Sunday Times magazine: “Leah likes old rock, Fleetwood Mac, whereas I like R+B and old-school hip-hop, like the Notorious BIG.
“And I love the wave of lesbians in music now, like Chappell Roan and Reneé Rapp.
“We teach each other so many things. Two years ago we were backstage at Glastonbury and we took a photo with this guy.
” I said to Leah afterwards, who was that? She was like, ‘What? That was Bruce Springsteen!’ I had no idea what he looked like. She thinks that’s blasphemy.”
While Cara and her partner love music and regularly attend gigs together, the former ‘Only Murders in the Building’ actress has yet to see her dream show of another Spice Girls reunion.
She admitted: “I pestered Victoria Beckham about it once at Glastonbury. She was like, ‘Please stop talking to me about that.’ ”
Although the ‘Carnival Row’ star is very happy with Minke, she insisted marriage isn’t a priority but she would love to have children one day.
She said: “I think I’m the type of gay who feels a bit annoyed about marriage — why do we have to fit into this very old idea of signing a contract?
“I prefer the idea of a spiritual union. The priority for me is the relationship. But if marriage comes along with that, that’s fine.
“I would love a family for sure.”
Cara has previously dated the likes of Ashley Benson and St. Vincent and she admitted Minke being British has helped their relationship.
Asked if it makes a difference to be dating a fellow Brit, she replied: “Yes, I don’t know why but it does. There’s a familiarity to it, she understands.”
But the couple have no plans to move back to the UK.
Cara said: “Probably not, I love being in America.
“But I also love travelling around. I love, love, love change.”

Marisa Abela engaged

OHMYGOSSIP — Marisa Abela has got engaged.
The ‘Back to Black’ actress was left a “weeping mess” over the weekend after her boyfriend Jamie Bogyo popped the question after four years of dating.
The West End star shared pictures and video footage from his proposal on Instagram and wrote: “She said she’ll think about it!”
Marisa commented: “A weeping mess.”
Jamie popped the question outdoors on London’s Primrose Hill and his post also showed Marisa being surprised by friends and family, who had gathered at a house to congratulate the couple afterwards.
One of his photos featured the 27-year-old actress clutching a rose, showing off her new diamond engagement ring.
Marisa became a household name playing amy Winehouse in ‘Back to Black’ but she previously admitted she initially rejected the role because of the “huge” responsibility that the part would entail but soon forged a connection with the tragic star because of their shared Jewish upbringing.
She told Harper’s Bazaar UK: “My first instinct was to say, ‘No, that’s too much, too huge.’
“The more I got to know her, the more I felt a major connection to this spiky Jewish girl from London who had a lot to say and was really quite unafraid.
“I remembered how I felt when I was young, seeing that woman who was proud and cool, wearing a big Star of David in between a cleavage and a nice bra. I understood what a Friday night dinner would look like in her home, the humour in her family.
“I loved how effervescent she was, how huge a soul, how she just permeated any room she was in. But also, her relationship to her art form, and wanting to be good. That was the most important thing.”
“Once I framed her in that way, I felt I was in a position to take on this role. I never wanted to trick anyone. Sometimes you audition and you say you can ride a horse, speak Spanish or sword fight, when you can’t.
“I was never, ever going to do that here. I was not going to put myself on the chopping block unless I knew I could do this.”

Sir Elton John peed in a bottle while at a shoe shop in France because there was no public toilet

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Elton John peed in an empty bottle while at a shoe shop in France.
The 77-year-old pop legend – who has sons Zachary, 13, and 11-year-old Elijah with husband David Furnish – was at Sugarkikz in Nice with his sons and a bodyguard when he felt nature call, but with no public bathroom available he is said to have took to urinating into the plastic container instead.
Sugarkikz owner Ryan Sukkar explained to TMZ that the ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’ hitmaker “turned to his security and asked for a bottle” after learning there was no toilet and “took a few steps away from other shoppers and began taking a leak in the receptacle”.
According to the outlet, Elton “got some pee on the floor and asked his security for a towel to clean up the mess” but the store owner was left “shocked and frustrated” by his behaviour.
Sukkar told the outlet that he had “no idea” who the ‘Candle in the Wind’ singer was when he arrived at his footwear store – which has been open for three years – and had to do a quick Google search on the spot to find out.
When the businessman asked Elton what he did for a living, the ‘Rocketman’ legend – whose real name is Reg Dwight – simply replied “I’m Elton John”.
In the end, Elton bought two pairs of shoes for his sons and posed for photos in the store, one of which was obtained by TMZ.
In 2023, Elton wrapped up his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour with a performance of Glastonbury and retreated to his home in France but despite declaring he will never tour again, he has insisted it doesn’t mean the end of live performances altogether.
The singer’s husband recently clarified that fans will get to see their hero on stage again in the future.
He told Billboard: “It’s really important to make a distinction between Elton retiring from touring but Elton not playing his very last public performance for the very last time. I know for a fact he will not be touring in any capacity. What you’re going to see is the possibility of a special one-off or a small residency in one venue for a limited period of time.”

Bebe Rexha has audience member thrown out after they launched an object at her

The 34-year-old pop singer was performing on one of her many festival performances recently and now in footage that has surfaced online, she can be seen demanding that the person who launched something at her be removed from the show alotgether.
In a video posted to social media, she said: “If you hit me with something on the stage, I will take you for everything you’ve f****** got. Do notf****** play with me right now. Which one? Point me to the person. I want to see them. Out. Get the f*** out. That’s it. It’s done for you!”
In June 2023, the ‘Heart Wants What It Wants’ singer received stitches in hospital after a phone was thrown off stage, splitting her eyebrow and causing a black eye.
Nicolas Malvagna was later arrested and charged with two counts of third degree assault as well as second degree aggravated harassment, third degree attempted assault and second degree harassment.
He reportedly told police at the time: “I was trying to see if I could hit her with the phone at the end of the show because it would be funny.”
During a court hearing in February, the man took an offer for the charges to be dismissed after completing 40 days of community service, but he must adhere to a six-month order of protection.
A number of artists have spoken out about fans throwing things to the stage after Harry Styles, Drake, Ava Max and Kelsea Ballerini were all struck by flying objects during their gigs.
Adele previously blasted at her ‘Weekends with Adele’ Las Vegas residency at Caesar’s Palace Hotel and Casino in Sin City, the ‘I Drink Wine’ singer said: “Have you noticed how people are, like, forgetting show etiquette at the moment, throwing (things) onstage? Have you seen it?

Jimmy Kimmel shares update on his son Billy after he underwent third round of open-heart surgery

OHMYGOSSIP — Jimmy Kimmel’s son is “doing great” after his open-heart surgery.
The 56-year-old TV host – who has Katie, 32, and Kevin, 30, with his ex-wife Gina Maddy as well as Jane, nine, and Billy, seven, with his wife Molly McNearney – joked that he “ignores” his family when he is away shooting but his youngest suffers from Tetralogy of Fallot, a congenital heart condition where four different heart defects affect normal blood flow through the heart and recently underwent his third operation.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “Yeah you know what I do, I just cut out all the family time, I ignore my children. I’ll see you at your high school graduation. Yeah, no, the truth of the matter is even though it’s a whole season of shows, we shoot it in a weekend so it’s not that big of a deal, I miss the weekend.”
“Billy’s doing great. He had open-heart surgery; you know he’s got the scars and everything, but he’s just mentally right back where he was which is crazy. Physically, you know, we’re gonna have to be careful with him for a couple of months but he’s doing really well.”
The ‘Tonight Show’ star praised the resilience of all of his children and noted that even medics have described how tough his brood can, even though he had never even considered that could be possible because of how much they are all growing.
He said: “They’re made of rubber, you know, everybody says that kids are so resilient and the doctors actually explained it to me which I don’t know why it never occurred to me before because they’re still growing.”
In May, Jimmy took to social media to tell his fans and followers about his son’s operation, which he hoped at the time would be the last.
He wrote on Instagram: “This weekend, our boy Billy had his third (of three, we hope) open heart surgery. We went into this experience with a lot of optimism and nearly as much fear and came out with a new valve inside a happy, healthy kid.”

Bob Morley opens up about body dysmorphia struggles for the very first time: ‘It’s brutal…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Bob Morley has been “struggling with body dysmorphia” for his whole life.
The 39-year-old actor has never opened up about his “brutal” ordeal before but admitted that the thought of his appearance has plagued him for such a long time and he “battles” with himself every day whenever he looks in the mirror.
He told People: “There’s something that I have actually never really talked about . . . I think my entire life I’ve struggled with a form of body dysmorphia. I train so much, exercise is such a huge part of my mental health and sometimes it’s probably too much.
“There’s battles that I have in the morning, like, I get up and then I workout, I’m like, ‘You look great. You look like you feel great.’ And then I have lunch and I’m like, ‘You’re a slob. You’re this, you’re that. I don’t want to see what I look like.’
“It’s brutal. The back and forth of this kind of body dysmorphia and the comparisons to other people,” he continued. “It’s incessant, this idea of what I’m supposed to look like.'”
The ‘I’ll Be Watching’ star has no idea how to fully deal with his issues but appreciates that there must be millions of others who endure the same sort of struggles and hopes that they can all give themselves some “grace” over the matter somehow.
He added: “It’s something that I’ll have to work on and learn to be kind to myself but I think it comes in many different forms and just trying to find that peace within yourself.
“I think a lot of people go through this on a day-to-day basis, and it’s unrelenting — this kind of perception of self. I think we’re all going through that struggle, and it’d be nice to give ourselves some grace.”

Sophie Turner reveals her summer plans as she admits she feels ‘lighter’ since split from Joe Jonas

OHMYGOSSIP — Sophie Turner has been “embracing a lighter energy” since her split from Joe Jonas.
The 28-year-old actress married former Disney Channel star Joe, 34, in 2019 and the pair have Willa, four, and two-year-old Delphine together but the pair announced their intention to divorce last September and she has now admitted that she feels “fresher” these days.
She told Harper’s Bazaar: “Honestly, what my life looks like these days is what an Hugo Spritz tastes like. I’m kind of embracing this lighter, fresher kind of energy around me.”
The former ‘Game of Thrones’ star is planning to spend the summer with her children and enjoying the hot weather, if she is blessed with it.
She said: “My recipe for a hot-girl summer is pretty much playing with my kids hanging out with my best friends, drinking some cocktails—you know, which ones—and enjoying the sun, long may it last. As long as the sun’s out, I’m a happy chap.”
Sophie previously explained that she didn’t always know if she would “make it” through the early days of the split but found the energy to fight when her lawyer reminded her of her children.
She told British Vogue magazine: “There were some days that I didn’t know if I was going to make it. I would call my lawyer saying, ‘I can’t do this. I just can’t.’
“I was just never strong enough to stand up for myself. And then, finally, after two weeks of me being in a rut, she reminded me that it was my children I was fighting for.
“Once anyone says to me, ‘Do it for your kids,’ I’m doing it. I wouldn’t do it for myself, but I’ll find the strength for them.
“It hurt because I really do completely torture myself over every move I make as a mother – mom guilt is so real.
“I just kept having to say to myself, ‘None of this is true. You are a good mom and you’ve never been a partier.”

Nicolas Cage admits he never imagined having three kids by three different women

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicolas Cage never “originally thought” he would have three children with three different women.
The 60-year-old actor has Weston, 33, with former partner Christina Fulton, Kal-El, 18, with ex-wife Alice Kim as well as 22-month-old August with Riko Shibata and noted that all three experiences have different.
Asked what he is currently reading, he told The New Yorker: “Well, the reading is not where it should be. I’ve been very immersed in raising my daughter. She’s going to be two in September. But the books that I gravitate toward are more books that I feel I know what I’m getting in terms of the translation, or there is no translation. It’s usually in English, so I’m not worried about them corrupting the words of choice of the author.
“I have two older boys. They’re all different experiences. Each one has a different mother. It’s not what I had originally thought would happen when I fell in love or got married—that I would have three different children with three different moms—but nonetheless that’s what’s happened. So every child is different. There’s a different kind of level of attention.”
