Mariah Carey 'doesn't know' Demi Lovato

OHMYGOSSIP — Mariah Carey “doesn’t know” who Demi Lovato is.
The 23-year-old singer previously hit out at the ‘Hero’ hitmaker – who claimed she didn’t know who Jennifer Lopez was and had never met her – on Twitter for the way she “constantly disses” people, and now the superstar has got her own back by claiming she has no idea who the ‘Confident’ singer is.
In June, Demi commented on a meme which paralleled Mariah, 46, to Ariana Grande, 23, with the caption: “When you order it online vs when it arrives”.
Demi wrote underneath the post: “You got it the wrong way around honey (sic).”
She added: “Mariah is a legend and is so talented but constantly disses people. It’s nasty the way she treats Jennifer. Ari did nothing wrong. (sic).”
Asked on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ on Sunday (18.12.16) if she had anything to say in response to Demi, Mariah said: “I don’t know her either and so I wouldn’t say anything to her.
“She should come up, introduce herself to me, say, ‘Here’s my opinion, what do you think about it?’ That’s how you handle s**t, OK?”
And it wasn’t just the ‘Cool For The Summer’ hitmaker who faced Mariah’s wrath, as she also claimed she didn’t know who Ariana was either.
When asked if she had heard of the ‘Side To Side’ singer, Mariah said: “No. I don’t know… Honestly, I’m not familiar. I listen to hip-hop more than I listen to pop music.”
Mariah – who has twin children, five-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, with ex-husband Nick Cannon – believes the comment she made about Jennifer Lopez was taken out of context.
Speaking previously, the pop legend said: “That was so long ago, I can’t believe people make such a big deal out of it.
“You know what? I’m very forgetful. Apparently, I’m forgetful because I don’t remember the fact that it was just like, ‘Hi, I’m so and so.’ And then move on, and then ‘Hi’ and that’s it. If I had never had a conversation with you and someone asked me about you I’d be like ‘I don’t know him but he seems cool’ or ‘I don’t know him’.”
