OHMYGOSSIP — Disneyland Paris launched the Disney Electrical Sky Parade this week.
The French resort launched its new programme, Disney Symphony of Colours, with the spectacular nighttime sequence, which features synchronised drones, video projections, lights and fountains across Sleeping Beauty Castle and pays homage to the Main Street Electrical Parade, an evening show that was staged in Disneyland Park between 1992 and 2003.
The show sees more than 500 drones dot the sky in the form of illuminated floats depicting various icons featured in the original nocturnal spectacular, including Mickey Mouse and his friends’ dazzling train, Elliott the adorable dragon and Cinderella’s carriage, all with the same famous elctro-synth-magnetic soundtrack.
The Symphony of Colours programme is also set to include ‘Million Splashes of Colour’, a new energy-packed daytime show launching on 10 February, and at the same time, Main Street USA will be journeying into fairy worlds with the new ‘Blooming in Colours’ decorations to “wake up winter”.
In addition, a new stage show, ‘Alice + The Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland’, will debut in the spring and the Disneyland Hotel will reopen on 25 January following a magical makeover.
