OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Naked Attraction’ men have reportedly taken matters into their own hands in the cold green room.
The nude Channel 4 dating show sees contestants bare it all in the hope of finding a partner, but it’s said some people have complained that the green room – where they wait before heading out onto the studio floor – is a bit too chilly, leaving them feeling a little shy.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “The whole point of ‘Naked Attraction’ is that your body is the thing that attracts a potential partner.
“So the men have had to give themselves a little ‘fluff’ while they’re in the cold room just so they’re as enhanced as they can be without being entirely indecent.
“Though obviously this somewhat desperate measure has raised a few eyebrows among crew when they’ve seen it in action.”
It’s said show bosses claim the green room is kept at an “optimum” temperature of 21 degrees Celsius.
The show – which has been hosted by Anna Richardson since its launch in 2016 – sees six people strip off and stand in cubicles as their nude bodies are revealed from the feet up, while one person has to eliminate a different contestant after each body part has been revealed until they choose between a final two.
Presenter Anna previously admitted she would love to take the show on the road for a live theatre tour with audience members stripping off on stage.
She said: “I’m desperate to do it as a live theatre show. That would be amazing. A ‘Naked Attraction Live’ is my next ambition.
“Say you were in Bournemouth, you’d have different contestants each night or encourage people from the audience to be in the pods. Wouldn’t it be ace?”
However, an US version isn’t on the cards as she explained producers are facing a “brick wall when it comes to showing penises on US television”.
She added: “It would go down like a cup of sick in the Bible belt.”
