Anton Du Beke hasn’t had Bruno Tonioli chat

OHMYGOSSIP — Anton Du Beke hasn’t spoken to Bruno Tonioli since joining the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ panel.
The 55-year-old dancer made guest appearances as a judge last year but is now a full-time addition to the board because Bruno is committed to ‘Dancing With the Stars’ in the US and unable to travel due to the coronavirus pandemic.
While Anton has had detailed advice from fellow judges Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood, and Shirley Ballas, he admitted he’s not spoken to the Italian.
He told The Sun’s TV Mag: “No, we haven’t spoke. He’s been in LA so I haven’t spoken to him. Motsi called me and I spoke to Shirley. I’m looking forward to it.
“They were brilliant. I think they’re delighted as well because they know me.
“If somebody comes in from outside then it’s sort of a whole starting again thing, but because it’s me, we’ve already done it.”
But Anton – one of the show’s original professional dancers since it began in 2004 – admitted he’ll miss taking part in the series and putting together routines for a celebrity partner.
He said: “I’m going to miss spending time with my celebrities, I’m going to miss putting together a number, just the whole creative process.
“Getting to know them and the shared experience of coming out and performing and hoping that it comes out well.”
And Anton is proud that fans have told him they will miss seeing him on the dancefloor because he’s still a dancer “at heart”.
He said: “People do say “I’m going to miss your dancing” and that’s tremendous. I love that because fundamentally I am a dancer at heart.”
