OHMYGOSSIP — Jay Cutler reportedly wants half of Kristin Cavallari’s Uncommon James brand as part of their divorce.
The high-profile duo announced their split last year, but they’ve yet to reach a settlement in their divorce, with Jay apparently seeking 50 percent ownership of the lifestyle brand.
However, the 34-year-old TV star – who married Jay in 2013 – doesn’t feel like she owes the former NFL player any of the company, TMZ reports.
Kristin is said to be insistent that Jay didn’t help fund the venture, even though he previously claimed to be a co-owner.
Discussing the issue back in 2018, Kristin explained: “He thinks he owns half of this company, and he does not. That is not on our non-existent pre-nup.”
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty recently claimed she’s become a “better mom” since splitting from Jay
Kristin thinks their separation has ultimately had a positive impact on her parenting skills.
The TV star – who has Camden, eight, Jaxon, seven, and Saylor, five, with Jay – shared: “I’d say it’s maybe made me a better mom in some ways because I have my kids half of the time now. So when I have them for my week, I am so incredibly present.
“I am not distracted by my phone or anything else. I am with them. If someone is having a temper tantrum or something, I remain calm because I know that I am losing them in a few days.”
Kristin also claimed that raising girls involves “a lot of drama”.
The ‘Very Cavallari’ star explained: “It’s harder to raise girls because girls are drama.
“It’s a lot of drama, and Saylor’s payback for me is she’s very tough. She’s set in her ways. She knows what she wants, and she’s not going to stop until she gets it.”
