OHMYGOSSIP — Blac Chyna wants to be dismissed from a lawsuit brought against her and her former partner Rob Kardashian.
The 33-year-old model is seeking to remove herself from the battle between the reclusive sock designer and her former friend Pilot Jones aka Justin Jones, who has alleged the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star threatened to hire a hitman to kill him.
In the suit, Jones told how his relationship with Chyna was destroyed when a photo of them kissing was published online and the former couple blamed him for leaking the image.
He alleged Rob and Chyna – who was pregnant with daughter Dream, now four, in the photo – started harassing him with antics allegedly including his former friend publishing his’ private phone number online and the 34-year-old reality star sending several texts threatening to pay someone to kill him.
Though the majority of claims were dismissed by a judge in late 2019, Chyna’s former friend was allowed to move forward with his claim of intentional infliction of emotional distress against Rob and to pursue his ex-pal for allegedly posting his private information online.
A trial was recently set for June 2022 but in new documents, Chyna – whose real name is Angela White – insisted she should be axed from the case before the trial and doesn’t want to deal with the legal fees involved in preparing for it, and blamed her former partner for the threatening messages.
According to documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, her lawyer argued: “The only factual allegations not struck by the Court as to Defendant White relate to her alleged posting of Plaintiff’s phone number and email address and her alleged “encouragement” to her Instagram followers to contact Plaintiff.”
The ‘Rob & Chyna’ star – who also has son King Cairo, eight, with Tyga – insisted she didn’t encourage her followers to harm Jones so believed his allegations failed to state a claim.
And she insisted her former friend had previously made it clear she “did not send or play any role in the threatening texts sent by Defendant Robert Kardashian to Plaintiff.”
Jones was particularly upset that Chyna revealed online he was gay, but she’s said although she felt bad about that, she was defending the paternity of her child as the picture caused so much speculation.
The judge has yet to rule on Chyna’s request to dismiss her from the case.
