OHMYGOSSIP — Orlando Bloom’s baby daughter keeps him up most nights.
The 44-year-old actor welcomed a baby girl, Daisy Dove, with his fiancee Katy Perry last August and he revealed that sleep has been “a little sporadic” since.
Orlando said: “Sleep is a little sporadic.
“But I’m very grateful for this beautiful new addition to my life. It turns out a global pandemic is not a bad time to have a baby.”
Despite the lack of sleep, Orlando – who also has Flynn, 10, with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr – is embracing fatherhood once again.
The ‘Lord of the Rings’ star told the Metro newspaper: “I feel really good.
“I feel strong in myself. I feel more present. This pandemic has given everyone the time to reflect on what is important and to have a child come into that moment has been pretty epic.”
Orlando’s next project sees him play Prince Harry for the HBO comedy ‘The Prince’, which he describes as a “send-up of the royals”.
The Hollywood star thinks Harry has a good sense of humour and will be able to appreciate the funny side of his character.
He said: “I’m voicing Prince Harry for an HBO thing called ‘The Prince’ by the guys who did ‘Family Guy’. It’s created by Gary Janetti, who is a very funny, satirical writer, and it’s sort of a send-up of the royals.”
Orlando continued: “Harry is a very nice man. He has a great sense of humour. He is very grounded and he is pretty funny. I think he can take a joke.
“And it is a backhanded compliment, in a way, that they’ve got me to play him. At least I hope it is seen like that.”
