OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Price “acts stupid” but always “knows what’s going on”.
The ‘My Crazy Life’ star has opened up about her public persona, insisting she is “shrewd”.
Speaking in BBC 2 documentary, ‘Celebrity: A 21st-Century Story’, she shared: “What I am is shrewd. I act stupid, but I know what’s going on.
“I was going out clubbing, getting p*****, falling out of nightclubs. I’ve always been me – and there’s always been a drama. There’s not many people you can say in this world who have their whole life documented – it’s like I’m in The Truman Show.”
It comes after Katie said the thought of returning to her Jordan alter ego makes her “feel sick”.
The 42-year-old star said: “I wrote a powerful letter because they make you do that to your demons. I don’t even think about doing it now. It makes me feel sick; I’ll be the best person now. What I mean is, I’m focused and back to normal. I’ve started working again and it’s going well. I’m happy and the kids have seen a difference. I used to love a Tia Maria and Coke on Christmas Day, or a porn star martini, and I didn’t even think about it. There’s no alcohol in my house at all, we don’t drink. This is just the new normal for me.
“I look back to how I was, and I would never ever wish that on anyone. I never knew when I’d had enough and I’d become all exhibitionist – I don’t ever want to be like that again. I’ve grown, I’m stronger and I don’t need to run away or numb my emotions anymore.”
