OHMYGOSSIP — Emily Blunt thinks John Krasinski turned quarantine into something “productive and exciting” with ‘Some Good News’.
The 37-year-old actress has heaped praise on her husband for creating the web series during the coronavirus pandemic.
She said: “It was completely his invention, his doing. He’s wanted to do something like it for the last five years and during the pandemic it seemed like the right time.
“I think he thought it was going to be this silly sweet thing that nobody would see, and it turned into this massive deal. It became a wild horse in our house that took over.”
Emily – who has Hazel, six, and Violet, four, with John – is impressed that her husband has managed to be so productive during the health crisis.
The Hollywood actress told ‘The Graham Norton Show’: “It was so wonderful because it turned the quarantine into something so productive and exciting. I truly was only making banana bread in the background while he did all of it.
“I think he would like it to continue. It was overwhelming at the time, but he really loved it.”
Meanwhile, Emily recently admitted she’s relished spending time with her family amid the pandemic.
The actress said: “Being around little ones during the pandemic was such a saving grace because they would just be bouncing around the house, and your job is to protect them from what is happening and make sure their life remains joyful.
“That was a pretty great lifeline for John and me during the pandemic, for sure.”
Emily also revealed they’ve passed the time by watching ‘The Crown’.
She explained: “We watched ‘The Crown’ in three days, and then we were bereft.
“That’s the other thing about the pandemic: how lost and broken you feel once your favourite show has ended. Like, what should I do with my life now?”
‘The Graham Norton Show’ airs on BBC One at 10.25pm on December 31.
