OHMYGOSSIP — David Harbour has hailed his wife Lily Allen as “so deeply kind”.
The ‘Stranger Things’ star and the ‘Smile’ singer tied the knot in Las Vegas in early September, and David has gushed about how caring his other half is and admitted he has “never felt so taken care of” before.
Speaking to People, he said: “I married a beautiful, incredible woman who I love. I have never met someone who is so deeply kind as her. I’ve never felt so taken care of and cared for by another human being.
“She really is just a deeply kind individual and I love that about her.”
The 45-year-old actor is now a step-father to the 35-year-old music star’s two daughters, Ethel, nine, and Marnie, seven – whom she has with her ex-husband Sam Cooper – and he quipped that it’s like being in a relationship with three females with “very different opinions” of him.
He joked: “I’m in a relationship with three women who all have very different opinions of me at various times.”
However, David insisted that “making that kind of a commitment, which I haven’t for most of my life, was a huge thing for me.
“And it just makes you feel a little bit more like a man, to be honest. I just feel a little bit more like an adult.”
On being “thrust into this family role”, he added: “It’s a cliché that we make fun of constantly in television and in books and I had always watched it with a grain of salt going, ‘Eh, whatever, it’s not the real deal.’ And now I am in it. That sort of hits it on the head.”
