OHMYGOSSIP — Perrie Edwards has suffered a slipped disc and torn the base of her spine.
The 27-year-old singer admitted the energetic dance routines she performs with her Little Mix bandmates have left her in agony but she insisted the pain is worth it.
Perrie told a fan on Twitter: “I recently found out I have a slipped disc and tear in the base of my back/spine and I die every time we dance. But it’s worth it.”
A source added to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Perrie is in pain with her back but she is soldiering on.
“It is a very uncomfortable injury to have but she’s not going to let anything put a stop to Little Mix’s mesmerising performances — not on their BBC1 show ‘The Search’ nor the MTV EMAs.
“For now, it’s business as usual and they are all eager to do the best performances of their career to showcase their new tracks.”
It’s a busy time for Perrie and her bandmates Jesy Nelson, Leigh Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall, as they are juggling their TV show ‘The Search’, with an upcoming hosting gig for the MTV European Music Awards and the impending release of their latest album ‘Confetti’.
Meanwhile, Perrie recently revealed that she wishes she could turn back time when things get tough.
She wrote on Instagram Stories: “I had one of those days today where I felt like utter s***. It happens.
“And I thought about innocent, naive, little Perrie sat on her inflatable chair, surrounded by beanie babies, and her pink phone (that didn’t actually work btw it was never plugged in). And I just wanted to turn back time for a quick second.”
