OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Price attended her latest bankruptcy hearing by Zoom.
The 42-year-old star – who is currently on holiday in the Maldives with her boyfriend Carl Woods – could only attend the hearing virtually owing to the current coronavirus pandemic and Katie told the court that her boyfriend had paid for the getaway.
According to The Sun, she said: “I appreciate I haven’t been easy to contact. I have been places physically and emotionally” and said she was sorry for “not being in the right mind to understand everything that’s been going on”.
Katie went on to explain that she had hired a new accountant to get her finances in order and is also seeing a therapist.
The hearing has been adjourned to give Katie a chance to look over her evidence this week and she is planning to call in again via Zoom once proceedings resume.
The insider said: “She doesn’t see a problem with it – she’s taking the whole thing very seriously. And she says the holiday’s not an issue as Carl paid for it.”
Meanwhile, Katie and Carl are said to be on a “baby making” holiday.
A source said of their trip: “Katie’s really excited and has been telling everyone that she and Carl will spend the whole holiday ‘making babies’. Nobody would be surprised if she returned pregnant with her sixth baby. She’s already taking folic acid and is on a ‘fertility diet’ with lots of spinach and vitamins. They’re moving very fast, but as Katie says, she’s not getting any younger.”
Katie’s representative added previously: “Katie does have a holiday scheduled, both Carl and Katie have made their wishes on starting a family quite clear. And who knows, the tropical setting is perfect for much needed R&R. Katie is on a well balanced diet with starting a family in mind.”
