OHMYGOSSIP — Riley Keough is in “pain” thinking about her first Christmas without her brother.
The ‘Lodge’ actress is sending love to anyone who is without a loved one over this festive season as she remembered her late sibling Benjamin Keough, who passed away in July.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “It’s going to be my first Christmas without my best friend and baby brother. Words can’t describe how painful it is. I’m thinking of everyone whose lost someone they love and everyone else whose first Holiday it is with grief and without the person they love. And I’m also thinking of all of the beautiful people who can’t be here with us in physical form and sending them my love wherever they may be, not too far away.”
Shortly after Benjamin’s death, the actress shared a slideshow of images of the pair.
She wrote: “Mornings are the hardest. I forget you’re gone. I can’t cry because of the fear that I will never stop. A pain that’s new to me. You. There are no words for you. Angel is the closest I could think of. Pure light. Baby brother. Best friend. Wild man. Intellectual. Witness to my life. Twin soul. Protector. Too sensitive for this harsh world.
“I hope you give me strength to endure the giant hole you’ve left in my heart. I hope you give me the strength to eat. I hope you’re cradled in love. I hope you feel my love. I hope you feel god. You are god. I can’t believe you’ve left me. Not you sweet Ben Ben. Anyone but you. I guess this is true heartbreak. I hope we meet again. (sic)”
