OHMYGOSSIP — Kristin Cavallari would happily play the matchmaker role for Stephen Colletti.
The 33-year-old TV star was previously involved in an on/off relationship with Stephen, 34, but she’d still have no qualms about helping him to find a new love interest.
Asked if she’d ever set Stephen up with another woman, Kristin explained: “You know, it seems as though I’m on the opposite end of all my friends right now, so there’s never really been an opportunity. But I would if I met someone that I thought he would be really into.”
Kristin and Stephen dated while they were in high school together and the blonde beauty sparked rumours they’d reunited in August, when she posted a snap of them embracing each other on social media.
However, Kristin was surprised by how “invested” fans are in her love life.
She told Us Weekly: “I mean, I knew that like some people would be like, ‘Oh my gosh, so exciting!’ But I had no idea to what extent. I still think it’s pretty funny.
“I also think it’s really cool that people are still so invested in it and it really brought people back to that time in their lives. … It’s kind of hard to believe, so the fact that people are still so invested in Stephen and I and you know, our relationship, it’s sweet. It’s very sweet and I love Stephen. We had a good time and it’s all good.”
Earlier this year, Kristin split from her husband Jay Cutler.
The TV star – who has Camden, eight, Jaxon, six, and Saylor, four, with Jay – announced the news on Instagram.
She wrote: “With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”
