John Barrowman sleeps with doors and windows open after ‘I’m A Celebrity’

OHMYGOSSIP — John Barrowman can no longer sleep without having the windows and his bedroom door open.
The ‘All Star Musicals’ presenter – who is married to Scott Gill – admitted spending three weeks in the jungle for ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ last November has completely changed him and a lasting effect of his stint in camp is that he needs a flow of fresh air running through the house at night.
He told Weekend magazine: “Having slept outdoors for three and a half weeks, I got back to Palm Springs and told Scott I needed the bedroom door open as well as the sliding windows at the back of the house to let the air in.”
And Scott has seen a different side to his spouse’s personality since he returned home from Australia.
John added: “Scott says I’m calmer because of the jungle too.”
During his stint on the show – in which he came third – John realised he isn’t comfortable with change because Noel Edmonds entering the camp late left him feeling uneasy.
He said: “I didn’t like it when Noel Edmonds came in.
“It was nothing to do with him, but we had to change from being all together in a camp to suddenly being under someone’s rule.
“I was very quiet after that for three days. Then I was chatting with Anne Hegerty and she said she finds change difficult, which rang a bell in my head.”
While the show ended three months ago, the contestants are still in regular contact with one another.
John said: “We have a WhatsApp group and talk to each other most days.
“I got particularly close to Emily Atack and Sair Khan, and I got on really well with Harry Redknapp.
“The thing I found hardest was the boredom in our downtime. I find it difficult to sit and do nothing.”
