Harvey Weinstein receiving both inpatient and outpatient treatment in rehab

OHMYGOSSIP — Harvey Weinstein is receiving both inpatient and outpatient treatment amid the numerous sexual harassment allegations made against him.
The 65-year-old disgraced producer stands accused of sexually harassing over 40 women in a 30-year period, and it was previously revealed he would be entering a rehab centre in Arizona to receive treatment for sex addiction.
And after a source claimed he was refusing to listen to professionals inside the centre and was only attending outpatient sessions, a spokesperson for the star has insisted he is in fact completing a full course of treatments.
The spokesperson told E! News: “Mr. Weinstein is receiving inpatient as well as outpatient medical treatment for the next month or so.”
It comes after it was previously claimed Weinstein would only be attending outpatient sessions, which were said to be ending this week.
A source said at the time: “He’s not listening to anyone. He agreed to treatment, but he doesn’t think he needs rehab.”
Another source, meanwhile, insists Weinstein is determined to “deal with this issue head-on”, and understands that he needs “help”.
They added: “His team set him up at a secure place to get him the help he needs – he knows and wants help.”
Meanwhile, Weinstein’s psychologist – who has refused to be named – has claimed the producer has taken the “intense therapy” treatment sessions “seriously”, and when asked whether he has made progress since entering therapy a week ago, the medical expert responded: “Time will tell.”
They also said they had been tackling the producer’s “anger”, and that his medical team focused on “dealing with his anger, his attitude toward others, boundary work and the beginnings of work on empathy.”
They continued: “There were things that triggered [Weinstein’s] anger and our job was to help him recognise where it was coming from and how to control it. But he was not venting about some conspiracy to get him. It was an appropriate display of anger.”
