Vanessa Redgrave joins Andorra

OHMYGOSSIP — Vanessa Redgrave has signed up for ‘Andorra’.
The 79-year-old actress and Guy Pearce are both set to join the cast of the romantic thriller alongside previously announced stars Clive Owen, Toni Collette, and Gillian Anderson.
‘Andorra’ will be directed by Fred Schepisi, and is based on the 1997 novel of the same name, written by Peter Cameron.
The plot follows Alexander Fox (Pearce), a bookseller who leaves the US after suffering a personal tragedy in order to start a new life in the small nation of Andorra.
As he meets new people in his new home, he finds himself in the centre of a murder investigation after being named the prime suspect.
Originally, 52-year-old Clive was on board to play the lead, but conflicting schedules meant he had to step down from the role and will instead be playing the supporting male role of Mr. Dent, who shares a volatile secret with his wife Mrs. Dent (Collette).
Gillian, alongside Joanna Lumley and Ricardo Scamarcio, completes the rest of the cast so far.
They will play Miss Quay, Mrs. Quay, and Lieutenant Afgroni respectively, though it is as yet unclear what role those characters will have within the story.
Vanessa will be playing a character called Mrs. Reinhardt, though it is also not known how she will fit into the plot at this time.
The screenplay has been adapted from Peter’s novel by Jamie Bialkower, who is also producing the movie alongside Fred Schepisi and Lizzette Atkins.
The executive producers are James Ivory, Natalie Miller, and Hengameh Panahi.
Production is set to begin in Italy in April next year, with no release date confirmed as of yet.

Sam Thompson wants to do Celebrity Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Thompson wants to do ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ next year.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ hunk is keen to join the infamous house when the new series returns to screens in January as he is convinced he could win it, but has admitted his sister Louise Thompson isn’t fond of the idea and is trying to sway his mind.
Speaking at BUILD Live, he said: “I would love to do ‘Celebrity Big Brother’. ”
His co-star Stephanie Pratt added: “He’d actually win it. I’ve been telling him this for two years and Louise is the one who’s like, ‘No don’t do it.’ But he’d be amazing.”
However, the heartthrob is convinced his friends would “rip” into him if he joined the abode because they already mock him every week for taking part in ‘Made in Chelsea’.
He explained: “They rip me every Monday.”
But Sam has admitted he’d have no trouble settling into the house while cameras watch his every move 24 hours a day, as he’s been involved in the show since 2013.
Asked if he struggles to find love on the show, Sam – who is currently dating Tiffany Watson – said: “I’ve been with Tiff but filming is part of my life. It is my life so, if I would always be like, ‘Look, if you want to be with me then you have to film.’ ”

Jeremy McConnell will 'never' get back with Stephanie Davis

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy McConnell will “never” get back together with Stephanie Davis.
The 26-year-old heavily-inked hunk sparked rumours he was trying to make amends with the former ‘Hollyoaks’ star, who he met in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house last January, after he deleted the harsh posts he’s made about her while she was in hospital battling a mystery illness last week, but he’s adamant he doesn’t want her back.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror Online, the Irish star – who now lives back in Ireland – said: “I will never be getting back with her, to clarify what I’ve said for months.”
The ‘Beauty School Cop Out’ star has always vowed he’s not the father of Stephanie’s unborn baby – who is due early next year – and is convinced she must have slept with someone else because the dates don’t match up as they’d already split up beforehand.
And, although the 23-year-old beauty has always pleaded her baby belongs to Jeremy, the heartthrob is still determined to get a paternity test done when the little one is born.
And it seems like Stephanie is on the same page as she recently claimed she has reached out to Jeremy on numerous occasions since they split in May but, with no avail, she’s now had enough and doesn’t want him to have anything to do with their little son.
She said: “He doesn’t deserve to be there [at the birth]. I don’t think he wants to be there either. I don’t think I could ever forgive him for how he’s been.
“I used to send him scan photos but he doesn’t care and he never has. It’s just me and my son now. I never thought he’d be that type of guy.”
Despite her turbulent relationship with Jeremy, which saw him cheat on her numerous times, Stephanie hasn’t been put off finding love but doesn’t want to rush anything.
She explained: “At the moment I’m keeping my options open and I haven’t met anyone I’m ready to tell the world about yet … I’m not going to introduce a boyfriend to the public until I’ve been seeing him for a while. I’d want to know it’s true love and that it’s right for my son. Hopefully I’ll find someone who loves my son like he’s his own.”

James Jordan massages his wife Ola with sex toys

OHMYGOSSIP — James Jordan massages his wife Ola with sex toys.
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional dancer has been with the blonde beauty for 17 years – and married for 13 years – and believes the secret to their successful relationship is down to their experimental fun with raunchy gadgets.
Speaking to the MailOnline, he said: “After 17 years would I suggest trying sex toys? It’s spiced up our love life a lot, so, I would definitely urge couples to experiment with toys. There are brilliant things for massage and they aren’t seedy, they’re romantic!”
And the couple aren’t afraid to come up with new ways to spice up their sex life as they’re both very comfortable with one another.
He said: “Yes, we trust each other a lot and we are very comfortable around one another. I mean, Ola farts all the time around me! Only joking, she doesn’t!
“Any relationship at the beginning can always be a bit embarrassing and worrying, but after 17 years together, being open with one another is key to having a strong relationship. Surprise your partner! Shock them with something! It’s not easy to do, but be aware you have to make an effort.”
But the 38-year-old groovy mover doesn’t just rely on naughty bedroom antics to keep their romance alive, as James thinks regular date nights are vital for success.
He said: “We will go out or stay in whenever we can. Even at home with wine and a nice meal, watching a movie. I don’t think it matters what you do, as long as you are having quality time with one another – rather than me being on the golf course.”
However, James will no doubt struggle this month as Ola, 34, is currently taking part in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’, which means she’ll spend up to three weeks locked up in a jungle with little to no contact with the outside world.

Jess Woodley threw tantrum outside nightclub

OHMYGOSSIP — Jess Woodley threw a tantrum after she was refused entry into a nightclub last week.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ star started screaming at the bodyguards outside the hotspot Embargo República in London after they failed to let her jump the queue last weekend.
Speaking to BUILD Live in London on Wednesday (16.11.16), when asked who from the cast is most likely to act like a diva, Jess’ co-star Sam Thompson explained: “She kicked up a right fuss outside Embargos. She was like, ‘Do you know who I am?’ ”
And that wasn’t the first time the 21-year-old beauty has launched into a rant after staff from fancy nightclubs failed to recognise her and give her the special treatment, as she pulled a similar stunt outside an establishment in Clapham, London, recently.
Stephanie Pratt added: “She did it the other night. I was there with someone. We were in Clapham in some club and she was like, ‘Can you get the main guard, come and get me, take me through the back door to a table and a bottle.’ ”
And Jess isn’t the only member of the cast to lose her temper as the stars used to have special screenings of the episodes, which are filmed months in advance, an hour before they went live but they had to stop them after fights broke out.
Stephanie explained: “We used to have screenings together – like an hour before the show came out – and then we’d see things that people said two months ago and we’d be like, ‘Oh really?!’ It got so wild, we don’t do those anymore.”
The full interview with Sam, Stephanie and Frankie Gaff can be found on BUILD Live’s official Facebook account: https://www.facebook.com/BUILDseriesLDN.

On Wednesday’s (16.11.16) morning news, Naga Munchetty – who was recently voted out of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – had to explain why Victoria was absent.
She said: “There she was, you know, just presenting very happily, not an issue in the world. And then she decided to have a bit of an event later on.”
And Naga’s co-presenter, Dan Walker added how Sally had to read yesterday’s (15.11.16) sport news because of Victoria’s husband being stuck on the motorway.
He added: “Sally was reading sport yesterday. Because Victoria’s partner was stuck on the M6. Sally was the birthing partner.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chloe Ferry is to resume filming for ‘Geordie Shore’ this weekend.
The 22-year-old beauty is to return to the MTV reality show after a five-day exclusion following a physical bust-up with her co-star Zahida Allen, as producers are hopeful her time out has made her think about the consequences of her actions.

“Producers kept her away from things for a few days as they wanted to give her some time to think about her actions and cool off. They’re also hoping this will be a lesson to her and maker her take her job on ‘Geordie Shore’ more seriously. People have been sacked completely for doing much less.”

India Willoughby makes TV history on Loose Women

OHMYGOSSIP — India Willoughby made TV history on ‘Loose Women’ on Wednesday (16.11.16) by becoming the first transgender presenter to host an all-female UK talk show.
The 50-year-old journalist – who was previously known as Jonathan Willoughby before she transitioned into a female – feels like the “luckiest girl” in the world to be able to grace the panel alongside Ruth Langsford, Martine McCutcheon and Janet Street Porter on the popular lunchtime programme during transgender awareness week.
Host Ruth told India in her opening speech: “As far as we know, we are the first all-female talk show to have a transgender presenter and we’re very proud of that and we thank you very much for coming on and doing that for us.”
However, the brunette beauty wasn’t prepared to accept the title because she’s convinced there must have been another transgender person to appear on the programme in the past, but they just didn’t feel ready to disclose it to the world.
India explained: “I’m a very modest individual and who knows there may have been a transgender reader on the show before but they just didn’t disclose it.”
And the newsreader is adamant that she’s no different from her fellow female co-stars as they all have their own “interesting” stories and experiences to tell.
She added: “We’re all women here, we all have our own baggage, our own scars and that’s what makes us interesting people.”
During her time on the show, India welcomed guests Priscilla Presley and Russell Watson, while also discussing the current debates of the world with her co-stars.
India – who has already made history as Britain’s first transgender newsreader – first appeared on the show last month as a guest, during which time she opened up about her gender reassignment struggle, and proved such a hit that she was called back.
Her appearance is part of a week-long issue of special, which saw Robbie Williams grace the show on Monday (14.11.16) and Eva Longoria on Friday (18.11.16).

Eddie Redmayne watched every Harry Potter film to learn how to use a wand

OHMYGOSSIP — Eddie Redmayne had to watch “all” of the ‘Harry Potter’ films to learn how to use a wand.
The 34-year-old actor has admitted he had “stage fright” when he picked up the magic stick for the first time whilst filming for ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’ he had to watch the entire film series starring Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, and “stole all of the best bits” from the movie to help with his duel scenes.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘This Morning’ on Wednesday (16.11.16), the dark haired hunk – who plays Newt Scamander in the fantasy film – said: “What was amazing was the first time we got to hold a wand, your inner nine year old has been waiting all your life for that moment, and I was so excited I picked the thing up and I got stage fright, and so I basically went back and watched all of the ‘Harry Potter’ films, and just stole all of the best bits from Dan [Radcliffe] and Emma [Watson] and Rupert [Grint].”
Although Redmayne has revealed he has copied how to act with a wand in his hand, he has revealed he is nervous in case the 27-year-old actor – who played the lead role as Harry Potter in the franchise – doesn’t like the new movie.
He said: “I hope he [Daniel] enjoys it.”
And Redmayne – who attended the London premiere of the film with his wife Hannah Bagshawe on Tuesday (15.11.16) – has revealed he “randomly” finds himself muttering spells under his breath, and talking to his “imaginary friends” whilst in public spaces.
He said: “Petrificus Totalus, it’s my favourite word. I just occasionally randomly find myself saying Petrificus Totalus, Petrificus Totalus, it kind of suddenly stuns you for a moment.
“Sometimes I was playing to nothing like Pickett, who is this little stick insect who walks on my hand, I love him he’s got attachment issues and sits in my top pocket.
“So occasionally I’ll go on the tube and just imagine myself talking to my imaginary friend and get weird looks. They were like ‘What is he doing? He looks like Eddie Redmayne.'”

Rosamund Pike is as brave as her character

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosamund Pike thinks she is as “brave” as her ‘A United Kingdom’ character.
The 37-year-old actress – who has sons Solo, four, and Atom, 23 months, with partner Robie Uniacke – had a home birth because her labour was so quick, just as Ruth Williams, who she portrays in the biographical drama, had her child alone, and admits that though the experience wasn’t frightening at the time, she was scared afterwards when she thought about the problems the situation could have posed.
She said: “Ruth gave birth alone, and so did I, at home because I couldn’t get to the hospital in time. In the moment you don’t think about it, although afterwards I was frightened of all things that could have gone wrong. So I think we have that bravery in common.”
Rosamund is “proud” to have worked on the movie, which portrays the relationship between her office worker character and David Oyelowo’s Prince Seretse Khama of Botswana, because Hollywood still doesn’t show many interracial love stories.
She told Stylist magazine: “You’ve got a black man falling in love with a white woman and vice versa in the Forties. They are rejected socially, politically and by their families. Nobody wants their marriage to happen. It makes me proud to have brought back their story to more people.
“Even within the film industry, I wish there was colourblindness and that any romantic film could be played by a black actress and a white actor but that’s clearly not been the case.”
But the star insists the film isn’t largely a political statement.
She said: “Aside from any political angle, it’s a love story. And at the moment we’re really starved of love stories in cinema.”

Carmen Ejogo: Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them gets 'very complex'

OHMYGOSSIP — Carmen Ejogo has teased that the next installments of ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’ get “very complex”.
The 43-year-old actress – who plays the President of the Magical Congress of the United States of America, Seraphina Picquery, in the hotly anticipated movie – has given fans of the franchise a glimpse of what to expect from the five-part movie series.
Speaking at the European premiere of the movie at London’s Leicester Square, she said: “We have a lot of stories to tell coming up ahead. It’s going to get very complex and exciting.”
Meanwhile, Eddie Redmayne recently admitted he has been “so bad at keeping secrets”.
The 34-year-old actor – who plays protagonist Newt Scamander in the hotly anticipated movie – is thrilled that the film gets it release date later this week as him and his co-stars aren’t so good at keeping the closely guarded details to themselves.
He said: “Everything about this film was so shrouded in secrecy.
“And as a cast, we are so bad at keeping secrets that we’re so thrilled that it is finally going out into the world and we can stop being in charge of the secret keeping.”
And Eddie – who has five-month-old daughter Iris with his wife Hannah Bagshawe – is hopeful that the fans will warm to the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ franchise as much as they did to the ‘Harry Potter’ series.
He added: “All of us involved in this film were ‘Harry Potter’ fans and if you’re a fan of something, you don’t want to be the one to come in and screw it up.
“When I read the script, it was so filled with wonder and excitement, all the warmth of the Potter films but 70 years before and a new energy to it so I’m hoping you guys will embrace it as much as we enjoyed making it.”

Jeremy Clarkson seeks revenge on airport worker who made him miss flight

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy Clarkson is to seek revenge on the “ignorant little worm” who kicked him off his flight home from Argentina.
The former ‘Top Gear’ presenter was on a business trip to the country in South America filming for his, Richard Hammond and James May’s new ‘The Grand Tour Show’ and when they attempted to return home to England on Monday night (14.11.16), the 56-year-old claims they missed their schedule British Airways flight from Stuttgart airport because one of the staff members, Manuel Pereira, laughed in their faces, told them to f*** off” and that they couldn’t get on the aircraft.
In a expletive-laden rant, he fumed: “This ignorant little worm made us miss our plane and he will pay for it.
“The police said it was a hate crime and he would be arrested. Yes even the Germans were 100 per cent on our side – for once.
“Our security guys turned round and said, ‘They’re not letting us on.’
“I said to this little bald guy, ‘What’s the problem?’ He had a big smile on his face.
“He said, ‘You’ve missed it.’ We said we had left the lounge when we were told, and he said, ‘I’m from Argentina so f*** off.'”
Despite the trio and their producer getting home by an EasyJet flight, Clarkson says this is not the end of it and that the airport worker will “pay” for his misconduct.
According to The Sun newspaper, he said: “Richard Hammond and our producer also heard him. It was disgraceful.”
“He marched off looking please with himself, no doubt to enjoy a disgusting dinner of refried beans.
“But he’s not heard the last of this.”
He goes on to claim that staff felt they were “too drunk” to fly, but police had told them they were going to speak with Pereira and rectify the situation.
Clarkson added: “His colleagues were suggesting we were too drunk. But we’d had one can of beer.
“The police met us and could see we were sober and promised they would sort him out. They’re horrified.
“He’s toast.”
He concluded by saying Pereira is a “bitter and twisted little man” and slammed the country’s armed forces by saying they are “completely useless”.
He continued: “We had to get an EasyJet flight to Gatwick instead but the BA one ended up being delayed anyway.
“So we actually got back sooner. It’s England 1, Argentina 0 again.
“He’s a stupid, bitter and twisted little man who can’t get into his head that Argentina’s armed forces are completely useless.”

JB Gill joins Dance Dance Dance line up

OHMYGOSSIP — JB Gill is to compete on ‘Dance Dance Dance’.
The 29-year-old former JLS singer previously turned down ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ as the schedule clashed with the group’s tour in 2013, however, he has now joined the line up for the forthcoming ITV show and will compete alongside ‘Doctors’ actress Lucy-Jo Hudson and former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star Jessica Wright.
JB has plenty of dancing experience under his belt having previously won the ‘Strictly Come Dancing Christmas’ special Glitterball in 2012.
Rumoured competitors include EastEnders’ actor Jonny Labey and Emmerdale star Fiona Wade.
The stars will be judged by former ‘Got To Dance’ judges Kimberley Wyatt and Diversity leader Ashley Banjo, with two further judges expected to be announced at a later date.
Hosting the new show is former ‘Strictly’ star Alesha Dixon, who can’t wait to get stuck in with her new role.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: “The art of dance has always played a big part in my life so this show is the perfect fit for me.
“The standard of dance is very high and I can’t wait for the public to see these iconic performances brought back to life.”
The six-part series, which will be a major competitor for the BBC’s ‘Strictly’, will see celebrities team up with their partner, a friend or a relative as they perform an iconic dance in the hope of impressing the tough-talking judging panel.
A source previously explained: “The show has an amazing special effects budget and will see the celebs doing routines like Ed Sheeran from his ‘Thinking Out Loud’ video or ‘Jai Ho’ from ‘Slumdog Millionaire’.
“There will be five celebs who will probably have a strong dance background pairing up with their partner or mate. All the audience will be familiar with the dances and it’s hoped the show will be a huge hit.” ‘Dance Dance Dance’ will appear on ITV in the early 2017.

Let it Shine to go up against The Voice

OHMYGOSSIP — Gary Barlow’s talent show will launch on the same day as ‘The Voice’.
The BBC are planning to air ‘Let It Shine’ – which will see judges search for stars for a Take That-themed West End musical – on the first Saturday of 2017, the same day ITV’s show will start after the channel outbid the BBC for the rights to the series.
A source said: “Both shows are being shot in the same studios, which is extra-awkward. Gary has even told people that as soon as he found out Let It Shine was up against ‘The Voice’, the BBC show upped the ante.
“And there’s no plan to rule out a 15-minute window where both shows are on.”
Despite a possible overlap, ‘Let It Shine’ – which will feature judges Gary, Martin Kemp, Dannii Minogue and guest panellist Lulu – is expected to start earlier than The Voice’s 8pm kick-off time.
But there are concerns about the two shows launching on the same day because such a move may go against a government white paper outlining BBC guidelines which stated any scheduling clashes should consider “the best interest of viewers”.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: “The BBC is very sore about losing ‘The Voice’ and wants to hit back.
“But this is worrying as it ignores what the government has warned it against doing.
“It will plan to go earlier in the evening to get family viewing figures but could finish 15 minutes into when The Voice starts at 8pm.”
‘The Voice’ ran on the BBC for five series until ITV outbid the channel to win a three-year deal to air the show for a reported £12 million.
ITV have brought back Sir Tom Jones, who was axed from the panel by the BBC, as well as will.i.am as coaches for the new-look programme alongside singing superstar Jennifer Hudson and Bush rocker Gavin Rossdale.

And, although he’s ready to throw himself into whatever he’s dished out, the housing guru is adamant he won’t be stripping off in the show’s iconic shower.
He said: “I feel very insecure about my body … My health leading up to this is one my biggest worries because you think this is such a great opportunity.
“The last thing you want to do is fall and hurt yourself, suddenly get really ill or let something else get in the way which is beyond your control. I’ve been on all sorts of natural remedies, things to increase my immune system. Eating really weird things that you’d norm sally only feed to a guinea pig. Like lettuce or quinoa.”
And Martin isn’t the only one who has been battling with ill health as Danny was given the all-clear of cancer recently following a six-year battle with the disease in his head and neck.
