OHMYGOSSIP — Danniella Westbrook tried to kill herself nine times last year.
The 43-year-old actress – who has openly admitted to battling with a drug addiction, which reportedly saw her take 11 packets of cocaine every day – has admitted her split from former toyboy lover George Arnold at the beginning of last year almost pushed her over the edge and forced her to contemplate suicide numerous times.
Speaking to Now magazine about her life, the former ‘EastEnders’ star – who played the role of Samantha Mitchell in the long-standing soap – said: “I’m an addict and the wheels fell off. I was dabbing cocaine in my mouth and rubbing it around my gums to numb the pain. People think I was hoovering cocaine up my nose again but I wasn’t. I was wiping it around my gums. I feel trapped in my own body. If you’re a cocaine addict you’re sweaty, you’re jumpy, you’re paranoid, you’re horrible.
“[I was taking] nowhere near what I was doing before, but it was enough. It could have killed me. I didn’t want to live, I hated myself. Last year I tried to kill myself eight or nine times. It was after George and I broke up.”
And, although she couldn’t stop taking the drug, Danniella has admitted “being of her face” on the Class A substance is the “s***test” feeling.
She explained: “Each time I’ve been high on drugs – it’s the sh***est place to be.”
However, it seems Danniella had a rough year throughout 2016 as she appeared to be at death’s door over the summer when she was struck down with septicaemia.
She was forced to have her teeth ripped out so that doctors could treat the condition – also known as blood poisoning – and that plunged her deeper into depression.
And things went from bad to worse towards the end of the year as in the run up to Christmas, Danniella was also made homeless and her car was repossessed.

OHMYGOSSIP — Charley Webb cried on her first day back at ‘Emmerdale’.
The 28-year-old actress – who has sons Buster, six, and Bowie, 12 months, with fiance and co-star Matthew Wolfenden – returned to filming on the soap in November after a year’s maternity leave and was overwhelmed with anxiety.
But now she’s back into the swing of work, she’s thrilled to be back playing Debbie Dingle, with her return scenes airing later this month.
She told OK! magazine: “It was really overwhelming. I was feeling really anxious over it and I don;t think I realised just how anxious until I got there. I did walk into my dressing room and burst into tears. thankfully there was no one else in there.
“I think it’s because the day was finally there and I’d been anxious about leaving Bowie.
“It was almost a relief at the same time because the date had just been looming.
“I think I was getting myself more and more worked up.
“It’s a big life change but I absolutely love my job and it’s been great being back.”
And the actress was thankful for the kindness and support of her co-stars, which made her return much easier.
She explained: “They’ve all been great. I share a dressing room with Zoe Henry [Rhona Goskirk] and she made me the most amazing soup and she also bought me a love heart trinket with the word ‘Bowie’ on it. I’m sure it was a David Bowie badge but it was the best touch. I was also with Jeff Hordley and Emma Atkins all day, so I was with the right people..”
Charley has been thrown in at the deep end with her return storyline.
She said: “I’m going to be full on for the next year at least.
“I can’t really reveal anything, but it’s going to hugely affect the whole Dingle family.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘This Morning’ set has been invaded by mice.
Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were left squirming on Tuesday’s (10.01.17) show after the crew failed to catch the furry rodent after it ran across the studio during an ad break.
Holly said: “We have a mouse, during the break it ran out and was by a pillar. I love the way that you (crew member) decided the best way to catch it was by using a brass pot.
“There’s more than one in here. There’s one that lives over there and there’s one that lives over here and I think they were enticed out by the drum. I think they liked the sound.”
Phillip added: “Because the one that was sitting listening to health headlines was sitting there looking like: ‘Oh I like this.’ I like mice, I think they’re sweet.
Holly concluded: “I don’t like it when they’re not self-contained.”
This isn’t the first time the studio has been targeted by animals as the dressing rooms backstage were riddled with Tineola bisselliella – also known as the common clothes moth – in the summer and the insects had been secretly chomping on their clothes for weeks.
Bug expert Stuart Hine said at the time: “We had a look in various parts of the back of the studio and there is a large infestation of clothes moths.
“They’re all over the walls. I wouldn’t step in there in your Cashmere clothes because you’re taking those home with you and you’ll be riddled [with more moths].”
Phillip was initially concerned for the show’s iconic blue sofa, but was relieved to find out that all the guests who appear on the programme and plonk their bottoms on the blue velvet have actually saved the well-loved piece of furniture from being gnawed.
Stuart explained: “If it’s [the sofa is] made of wool, then it is but plenty of disturbance – you have lots of guests on here – will keep them at bay.”
Although the presenters and camera crew have been oblivious to the moth infestation, it’s believed the critters had been taking over the studio for months as Rylan Clark-Neal – who hosts the showbiz segment on the show – was attacked by one in March.

OHMYGOSSIP — Danniella Westbrook’s alleged stalker could be arrested live on air.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star is set to star in a new programme, which aims to expose people harassing celebrities in front of the nation, after she was reportedly pestered by one of her followers on social media, who allegedly sent her and her close family explicit images online.
A source told The Sun Online: “Danniella has all the evidence ready to go and has been waiting to catch the stalker for months. She’s gone through hell and now she hopes this new TV show, which helps celebrities who have been harassed by trolls, will not only bring her stalker to justice but help others in a similar situation. If all goes to plan, her stalker will be arrested live on the show.”
The 43-year-old actress went to the police last summer to give evidence in the hope they would identify the stalker, but things took a turn for the worse when the person responsible allegedly posted a naked photograph of her on her Twitter account, which lead to her abandoning her social media channels.
But, after eight months away from the online world, Danniella returned to Twitter on Monday (09.01.17).
She said: “After 8 months of not being able to gain access to my social media accounts, and months previous to that of having my account hacked – It’s finally over!
“I would like to thank Twitter HQ, the police and all involved in working hard to get to the bottom of this – it’s been so frustrating and damaging to me – but guess what? I’m in an amazing place right now, happy, healthy, excited for the new year ahead !!!! THE WESTBROOK IS BACK (sic)”
Danniella hasn’t had the easiest year since she left the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house in January as she appeared to be at death’s door over the summer when she was struck down with septicaemia.
And in the run up to Christmas, Danniella was also made homeless and her car was repossessed.
However, she has since been spotted sitting inside a red Mercedes-Benz with a new pug puppy, despite losing her job whitening teeth at Lip Couture in Liverpool over the festive period.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicola McLean has shared a passionate kiss with Jamie O’Hara in the past.
The 35-year-old model set tongues wagging on Monday (09.01.17) night when she begged the sportsman to lock lips with her during a boozy session in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ garden, but after he refused out of respect for her husband Tom Williams, the blonde bombshell let slip that there will be no issues because they’ve done it before.
As she leaned in to his face, Nicola said: “We’ve done it before, we can do it again.”
Jamie then shouted to the camera as he cuddled up the the model: “Don’t worry, Tom, it’s cool,” before he added to his co-stars: “I know her husband, it’s cool.”
Nicola turned her head to Jamie and said: “I know you hate me.”
But the 30-year-old footballer – who was previously wed to Danielle Lloyd – corrected her by stating that he loves her husband Tom and therefore loves his “missus.”
But Calum Best – who is on a mission to shed his womanising reputation – was determined to shake things up and encouraged the pair to “kiss on the lips.”
Jamie said: “I’d love to, but I have too much respect for my bruv.”
Nicola then leant in to Jamie and whispered: “We’ve done it before.”
And the busty babe was keen to carry on the antics once she had been taken to bed by James Jordan as she told Jamie she was “so drunk” and told him to look after her.
Jamie said with a giggle: “You haven’t even got your pyjamas on.”
Nicola burst into a fit of laughter before she hid her head under the duvet and begged Jamie to return to her bed to check on her once the lights had been switched off.

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Buckland wants to invite her former love rival Zara Holland to her wedding.
The ‘Love Island’ runner-up got engaged to her partner Alex Bowen last month in New York following a whirlwind romance but she has admitted there are no hard feelings between her and the former beauty queen – who had sex with the hunk on television while appearing on the reality TV show – and she’s welcome at their future nuptials.
She explained: “It can’t (bother me) anymore. We’ve come so far from that point. We’d only known each other for an hour when it happened, so I can’t keep it against him or Zara. She’s welcome (to the wedding)! She needs to come to the engagement party.”
The couple – who got together in June last year – have already decided on a wedding date and have picked the location for their hen and stag dos with their friends.
Olivia said: “I’ve always said I really want to get married in September, so I’m gunning for September 2018. That’s around 20 months away so it gives us enough time to plan. If that doesn’t happen then it will be 2019 … It [the wedding] will be glamorous and beautiful, with loads of flowers. We’re going all out. My mum got married last year so she’s going to be really involved in the planning. Alex already knows he’s going to Las Vegas for the stag do and I’m going to Dubai with my girls.”
Although the pair thoroughly enjoy whizzing off on holiday, they’re not planning to get hitched abroad as they’d like everyone to be there and see them exchange vows.
The blonde beauty added to OK! magazine: “I don’t think I would want to get married abroad as I want everyone to be there. I love all the massive manor houses with gardens and I want a marquee outside.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Evans almost died last month after he was struck down with pneumonia.
The radio DJ saw his life flash before his eyes over the festive season after his temperature rocketed to 106 degrees – one notch below being life threatening – after he caught the inflammatory condition while holidaying in Barbados with his family.
He explained: “It started over Christmas. [I was] felled like a sack of spuds on Christmas Eve and still sort of have it. I peaked at a temperature of 106 on holiday. Nearly pegged it to be honest, nearly pegged it.
“At one point I thought, ‘Do you know what? I’ve got a lovely life and love my family to death but do you know… I feel so ill at the moment.’ It was nearly curtains for me.”
However, the 50-year-old star believes he owes his life to the Bajan doctor who treated him because he immediately managed to get the infection under control after he gave him an injection in his bottom and three oral medicines to take for the next few days.
Speaking to the Daily Mail newspaper, he said: “A very nice Bajan doctor diagnosed me with an upper airways infection; actually three – one for the ears, one for the nose and one for the throat. He was quite amazed when the thermometer showed that lava-like temperature reading of 106 degrees. Immediately he gave me a shot of something rather lively in my gluteus maximus plus three oral medicines that I had to take at various intervals in the day, whilst avoiding grapefruit. Go figure.”
Chris has certainly had a tough year as he was forced to quit his presenting gig on ‘Top Gear’ in March following just six shows after the ratings took a dramatic nose dive.
He had then agreed to star in the motoring show’s festive special but bosses decided to pull the plug on the idea after they realised there weren’t enough highlights.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucy Pargeter is expecting twin girls.
The ‘Emmerdale’ star and her fiancé Rudi Coleano are set to welcome their daughters, who they conceived via IVF, into the world in May but doctors have warned the actress that she may go into labour in April as twins are rarely allowed to go over 37 weeks.
She said: “It’s two girls! We found out at the five-month scan just before Christmas, and we’re just over the moon that they’re both healthy – it was the best Christmas present!”
Although she’s still got a few months to go until she’ll meet her little ones, Lucy is still trying to decide whether to have natural birth or to go ahead with a Caesarean section.
Speaking to OK! magazine, the 39-year-old actress explained: “We’ve talked about a C-section and a natural birth. With twins, you often have one naturally and one can end up being a C-section. The recovery time with a C-section is difficult afterwards, but a natural birth can be horrendous, too, so I’ll see how it goes.”
Lucy and Rudi went through an unsuccessful round of IVF in 2015 and were thrilled when they found out they were expecting two babies late last year.
The pair – who already have 11-year-old daughter Lola together – are also hoping to give IVF one more shot in the near future as they still have two frozen embryos.
She explained: “We still have two frozen embryos but I can guarantee they will be more girls. Mind you, most people say that when you go from two to three children, it’s a massive difference, so three to four might not be that bad.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephen Bear “walked out” halfway through a date during filming for ‘Celebs Go Dating’.
The 26-year-old television personality was due to appear on the celebrity dating show but skipped out during filming after he told the girl he was on a date with he needed the toilet and never returned.
Insiders claim the production team were not pleased to be left to pick up the pieces, after the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ winner insisted they tell the girl he “had a chicken in the oven.”
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Bear walked out on his date last week during filming for ‘Celebs Go Dating’.
“He ran off halfway through and claimed to the girl that he was going to the toilets, but in actual fact he was never coming back.
“He told the producers and runners to tell the poor girl that he had to go because he ‘had a chicken in the oven.’
“It was ridiculous but that sort of behaviour is to be expected from Bear. The production team weren’t best pleased as they had to let the girl down.”
Meanwhile, a spokeswoman for the ‘Ex on the Beach’ star said he was simply being cautious about dangers in the kitchen.
She told the publication: “Bear has been taught by his mum Linda that dangerous hazards in the kitchen are everywhere, especially leaving the oven on too long.”
And despite his appearance on the dating show, Stephen was recently linked to ‘Geordie Shore’ babe Charlotte Crosby, after they were spotted looking “cosy” as they cuddled up to each other for selfies at a nightclub before leaving the VIP area together.
A source said: “Charlotte was keen to take a back seat while Bear was meeting and greeting fans as if she didn’t want to be spotted by too many people.
“When he’d finished his work commitments they kept themselves to the VIP area and seemed very cosy. They left together and seemed more than just friends.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’ is to be rivalled by Brendan O’Carroll’s new show starring his popular comedy creation Mrs Brown.
The Geordie duo have dominated the Saturday night slot for years, but are poised to face stiff competition from a new programme which features the foul-mouthed mother-of-six Mrs Brown, who has become one of Britain’s most-loved comedy characters.
Brendan, who is to reprise the role of Agnes Brown in ‘All Round To Mrs Brown’s’, said: “The entire cast is excited by this.
“I think Agnes may be worried that she’ll need a bigger kettle to make tea for everyone that’s coming round!”
Charlotte Moore, director of BBC content, explained: “Bringing one of our biggest comedy stars, Mrs Brown, to Saturday nights in 2017 with a new entertainment show is going to be full of fun and mischief and totally unpredictable.”
The announcement of the new BBC show comes shortly after it was confirmed that Scarlett Moffatt is to co-host ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ alongside Ant and Dec.
The ‘Gogglebox’ star revealed she will join the comedy duo on the new series of the ITV show, which returns to screens later this year, and she admitted it’s a “dream” come true for her.
She shared: “I’ve watched ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ with my family for as long as I can remember I’m such a huge fan, so to be a part of one of the biggest entertainment shows out there, with two of my all time TV heroes Ant and Dec, is an absolute dream.
“I am so excited. I didn’t think 2016 could be topped but I really can’t wait for my Saturday nights now.”
Scarlett – who was crowned queen of the jungle in the 2016 series of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ – is to replace former Pussycat Dolls star Ashley Roberts, who has been co-hosting with Ant and Dec since 2013.
