Orlando Bloom feared dog bite to his groin on Unlocked

OHMYGOSSIP — Orlando Bloom feared his penis would be bitten off by a Rottweiler whilst filming a dog attack scene in his latest movie ‘Unlocked’.
The 40-year-old actor broke the internet when he was photographed paddle boarding naked whilst holidaying with his ex-girlfriend Katy Perry in Italy last year, but he very nearly lost his impressive manhood on the set of the action thriller when he was filming scenes with a large canine without a stuntman in Prague.
Speaking to Nick Grimshaw on his BBC Radio One Breakfast Show, he explained: “Wherever possible I try and do all my own stunts… (the dog scene) was the most terrifying thing I’ve ever done because it was like a 130 or 150lb Rottweiler, charging me down. The dog handler doesn’t really speak English and he was just like, ‘keep your hand inside’ – with just cardboard basically protecting my arm and the dog’s locking on to it and shaking like a lunatic and I’m trying to make it look like I’m gonna beat the hell out of it.”
Sharing his groin concerns, he continued: “I’m a dog lover, I’m not scared but I was terrified actually. I was like, ‘what if he misses my arms and gets something else, there’s a lot of other big parts of me!’ It was very scary, we did it a couple of times and I was like, ‘enough!’
Bloom stars in the Michael Apted-directed movie opposite his friend Noomi Rapace, whom he describes as “lovely”.
But he almost turned down the opportunity to play the role of the MI5 operator because he wasn’t happy about how the character appeared on paper.
He explained: “Michael Apted, is great – obviously his work speaks for itself – but I sat down with him and I was going to say, ‘you know what I’m not going to do this movie, cause I didn’t really (like the character). I love Noomi and I’d love to support her in this kind of female Bond/strong woman role, I’m up for that but what was on the page initially was this guy who was an uptight, MI5 operative, her opposite her CIA kind of operative and it was just so like cookie cutter, not interesting.”
So in a bid to persuade Bloom to sign to the film that is based on a script that puts London at risk of a biological attack, Apted gave him the opportunity to reinvent the character. He explained how he made the MI5 operator “more loose and free”.
Bloom said: “I kind of saw him as a higher gun in the military service but being fired and sort of a bit thuggish and probably spent too many times in crack dens. A bit of a wrong’un but … he’s had proper training – so when he’s got an objective to fill he’s going to fill it at any cost, you know, because I end up beating the hell out of her by the end of the movie and then being eaten by a dog!”
But Bloom admitted he gets a kick out of being scared.
He said: “Actually I love that more than anything to be honest, a little bit of adrenaline where you don’t know what’s going to happen and it could go either way, it’s so scary.”
Over the years, Bloom, who starred in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ and ‘Lord of the Rings’, has picked up plenty of skills through doing his own stunts including riding 50 different horses for his role as elf warrior Legolas in Peter Jackson’s film adaptations of J. R. R. Tolkien’s books.

Oscar Isaac: The Promise needed a love story

OHMYGOSSIP — Oscar Isaac says ‘The Promise’ needed a love story to balance the horror shown in the movie which deals with the 1915 Armenian Genocide.
In the film, the 38-year-old actor – who plays Poe Dameron in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ – plays character Michael who meets dance instructor Ana (Charlotte Le Bon) and their Armenian heritages explodes a rivalry with Ana’s boyfriend (Christian Bale).
Oscar admits the real-life events that director Terry George deals with on screen are so distressing that the film needed the love triangle set against the backdrop of what happened.
In an interview with the Metro newspaper, he said: “I think there’s a sense of audiences saying: ‘I want to go somewhere, switch my mind off and not think about reality, I just want to have fun’. But watching a film shouldn’t only be about fun. That isn’t the most important thing. And it can be very rewarding to watch things that aren’t just about shiny objects and loud noises. But it is a tough balance and I think that is why Terry George added this love triangle to hopefully draw in people who might otherwise not watch it. There is a lot of beauty here and there are elements that are feel-good to watch, while also shedding light on a part of history that people have attempted to erase.”
Oscar – who was born in Guatemala – readily admits he didn’t know much about the genocide which was the Ottoman government’s systematic extermination of 1.5 million Armenians within the Ottoman Empire and its successor state, the Republic of Turkey.
However, he made sure that he researched the events before he started shooting the movie.
He said: “I didn’t know much about it at all, to my shame. But that’s like a lot of the world and it’s part of the extra pain of this story. There are the horrors that people endured and which some survived but then to have the entire world be like: ‘yeah we’re not so sure about that, let’s just not talk about it. It’s just not going to happen again’ is doubly horrifying. Then, 30 years later, there was World War II and now we see the exact same things happening again in the same parts of the world.”

Karen Gillan was meant to die in Guardians of the Galaxy

OHMYGOSSIP — Karen Gillan’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ alter ego Nebula was supposed to be killed after the first movie.
The 29-year-old actress plays the blue-skinned alien assassin in the Marvel franchise but has now revealed her character was actually supposed to die in the first film but she is grateful Nebula lived on as she’s in the sequel and will feature in the next two ‘Avengers’ films.
Speaking to RadioTimes.com, the flame-haired Scot said: “It was a surprise for me because when I read the script for the first movie my character died in it. And then when we got close to shooting that, suddenly her ending was rewritten, and then it was rewritten again.
“So I just didn’t know what was going on. And then she didn’t die in the first movie and I was really excited about that.”
Gillan – who rose to fame starring as companion Amy Pond alongside Matt Smith in ‘Doctor Who’ – sees a lot of possibilities for Nebula in the ‘Avengers’ films and the third ‘Guardians’ movie and hopes the character gets to fulfil her wish to murder her stepfather Thanos in one of the stories.
She said: “I thought I would be coming back but then when I read the script for the second film I saw all the stuff that I got to do and all the emotional stuff and I was just really excited. I would like to see Nebula be embraced into the ‘Guardians’ family because I think that’s what she probably needs, even though she wouldn’t ever let on. I would like to see her fulfil her clear agenda which is to kill Thanos. I think that would be cool.”
Karen is remaining tight-lipped about the plot for ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ but she did say her character has a “good presence”.

Lewis Bloor beds Made In Chelsea newcomer Daisy Robins

OHMYGOSSIP — Lewis Bloor “spent the night” with ‘Made In Chelsea’ newcomer Daisy Robins following his shocking split from Marnie Simpson.
The ‘Geordie Shore’ star was left heartbroken two months ago when she found out her beau – who she struck up a relationship with last summer – had cheated on her while she was away for work and it seems he has rubbed salt in the wound by going home with a fellow reality TV star after the trio attended the same showbiz party.
Speaking to The Daily Star newspaper, Daisy dished: “Lewis and I got close and spent a night together, but we are more acquaintances more than anything.”
The blonde beauty added that she isn’t too interested in former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ hunk and hasn’t seen any men that have sparked a huge interest.
She explained: “My love life is quite slow right now, there have been no boys that particularly float my boat.”
The news that Daisy isn’t interested in Lewis, 27, long term will come as little solace to Marnie, who recently said she’s been put off by men after the slight.
The 25-year-old beauty – who came out as bisexual last year – doesn’t think she’ll date a man next time around because of the hurt she’s experienced over the years.
She said: “If I ever get into another relationship, I’ll probably go with a woman. I don’t think I’d get hurt as much as I have done with men. Girls are much more understanding.”
However, she’s “over” her relationship with Lewis and doesn’t want to dwell on the past.
She said: “I’ve finally recovered from my break up with Lewis, I’ve seen he’s tweeted but I’m over commenting on it. I feel back to my old self and talking about the past doesn’t help. My final comment is that I wish him the best of luck in whatever he does in life. This year is all about working hard, partying hard and trying to stay single.”

M. Night Shyamalan making Unbreakable sequel

OHMYGOSSIP — M. Night Shyamalan has confirmed his new film ‘Glass’ will act as a sequel to both ‘Unbreakable’ and ‘Split’.
The director – who came to prominence following the release of his 1999 supernatural thriller ‘The Sixth Sense’ – has revealed those two movies share a universe and he is stepping back into it that world for his next project.
On Twitter, the filmmaker wrote: “It’s taken 17 years but I can finally answer the #1 question I get ‘are you making a f#&@ing sequel to ‘Unbreakable or what?’ My new film is the sequel to #Unbreakable AND #Split. It was always my dream to have both films collide in this third film. (sic)”
‘Split’ follows James McAvoy as multiple-personality sufferer Kevin Wendell Crumb who kidnaps Anya Taylor-Joy’s character Casey Cooke but attempts to battle his darkest personality known as The Beast. The surprise ending of the film shows it be a follow-up to 2000’s ‘Unbreakable’, which starred Bruce Willis as security guard David Dunn who discovers he has super-human strength and resistance to injury.
Samuel L. Jackson starred as Elijah Price, who was born with Type I osteogenesis imperfecta a rare disease that renders sufferers’ bones extremely fragile and prone to fracture leading him to be dubbed ‘Mr. Glass’ by other kids and the inspiration for his search for Dunn’s character, his polar opposite. Price is revealed to be responsible for a number of terrorist atrocities orchestrated to find a real-life superhero.
In ‘Glass’, Dunn will be pursuing The Beast in ‘Glass’ in a series of encounters.
In January, Shyamalan revealed to Heat Vision that ‘Split’ villain Crumb was actually included in his first drafts of ‘Unbreakable’ but had to be cut out.
He also revealed he was hoping to write and direct a third film that would include characters from both films which is now confirmed as ‘Glass’.
‘Glass’ will be produced by Shyamalan and Jason Blum, who also produced the two previous films for Universal Studios.
Ashwin Rajan and Marc Bienstock will also be part of the film along with Steven Schneider who will executive produce.
Shyamalan also told his Twitter followers that Willis, Jackson, McAvoy and Taylor-Joy have all been confirmed to star in ‘Glass’ which is due for a January 2019 release.

Jake Hall to get own TV show?

OHMYGOSSIP — Jake Hall is set to get his own reality television show.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star – who turned his back on the ITVBe series last summer – and his girlfriend Missé Beqiri are reportedly in talks with executives at various channels about fronting their own series based on their life and relationship.
A source told The Sun Online: “They are definitely up for doing a show together and channels are already preparing some ideas to pitch to them.”
This isn’t the first time the topic of a TV show has come up for the couple as the 26-year-old hunk recently said he wouldn’t “say no” if he was approached for the project.
He said: “We have spoke about doing a show together. I’m always up for it. Work comes first but if something came along we wouldn’t say no.”
The pair’s potential plans come shortly after Missé revealed she had left the ‘Real Housewives of Cheshire’ “for good” now that she’s dating Jake.
She explained: “I’ve just finished filming ‘…Housewives’ – my last scenes because I’m leaving after this. I’m gone for good. It’s devastating but everything has to have its end. I’m moving on and have my life with Jake in London. I also have some really interesting work coming up that I still can’t talk about.”
Although she’s no longer involved in the show, Missé is still in contact with her co-stars.
She said: “I still talk with the housewives, I’m close with Dawn Ward and despite all the dramas Tanya Bardsley.”

Mel Giedroyc persuaded Noel Fielding to take GBBO job

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel Giedroyc “encouraged” Noel Fielding to take the ‘Great British Bake Off’ hosting job.
The 48-year-old presenter turned her back on the popular baking show, which she co-hosted with her friend Sue Perkins for five years, last year after Channel 4 snatched the rights to the programme from the BBC in a shock bidding war, but she clearly wasn’t bitter about the situation as she reportedly reached out to the comedian when she got wind of the news that he was being lined up as one of the new presenters and told him to jump at the chance.
A source told The Daily Mirror newspaper: “Mel is a big fan of Noel and encouraged him to take the role. It may well have been one of the deciding factors for Noel, as he knew he might be a controversial choice. They are good friends and Mel only has positive things to say about Noel and wishes him the best of luck on ‘…Bake Off’.”
Noel, 43, will be joined on the programme by his new co-host Sandy Toksvig and judges Paul Hollywood – who moved across to Channel 4 with the show after he was offered a mega-money deal – and Prue Leith when the series returns to screens later this year.
Not much is known about the new series but bosses have confirmed that the episodes will run for 75 minutes – instead of an hour – due to the ad breaks that take place on Channel 4.
A spokesperson for the show said: “We have always promised viewers that they would not be short-changed on the show, even though we are an ad-funded channel. The programme will run for 75 minutes to allow that.”
Not only have producers made a conscious effort to keep the running time the same as the BBC but they’ve also decided to keep some of the show’s main format elements.
Sources have claimed the theme tune, as well as the filming location of Welford Park in Berkshire, will remain the same so as to keep loyal ‘GBBO’ fans from switching off.
An insider said previously “While Channel 4 are keen to put their own stamp on the show, they are not trying to reinvent the wheel.
“They want to attract new legions of Bake Off fans, but also don’t want to dishearten those loyal viewers who have been watching it for years and are planning to keep doing so despite the change in channel.
“Viewers will get the familiar tent set-up, in the beautiful grounds of Welford Park, and the same theme tune they’ve been hearing since it was first launched in 2010.”

Star Wars: Episode IX hitting cinemas on May 2019

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ is to be released in May 2019.
The final installment in the new trilogy in the sci-fi saga will not hit cinemas in December like ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ and spin-off movie ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ as Disney has confirmed it will be out on May 24, 2019.
The studio has also confirmed that the untitled Han Solo film – starring Alden Ehrenreich as the space smuggler, who was originally portrayed by Harrison Ford – will come out on May 25, 2018.
The change in release schedule is believed to have been made for commercial reasons as Disney will be able to cash-in on Memorial Day weekend audiences in the US and get a double spike in merchandise sales from the post-release buzz and from the Christmas period.
Very few details are known about the plot of ‘Episode IX’ but it is believed a treatment penned by ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ writer-and-director Rian Johnson is the basis and he has been working closely with ‘Jurassic World’ filmmaker Colin Trevorrow, who is to helm the project.
Meanwhile, Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy has confirmed the late Carrie Fisher will not be appearing in ‘Star Wars Episode IX’ in any form following her tragic death last December at the age of 60.
Carrie’s brother Todd Fisher had claimed his sister would feature as Princess Leia from the use of archive footage but Kennedy has put an end to these claims.
She said: “Sadly, Carrie will not be in nine. But we will see a lot of Carrie in Eight.”
Disney and Lucasfilm announced via a statement released in January that they had no plans to “digitally recreate” the character of Princess Leia for the movie, as they did in ‘Rogue One’ to show the character as she appeared in 1977’s ‘Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope’.
They said in a statement: “We want to assure our fans that Lucasfilm has no plans to digitally recreate Carrie Fisher’s performance as Princess or General Leia Organa.
“Carrie Fisher was, is, and always will be a part of the Lucasfilm family. She was our princess, our general, and more importantly, our friend. We are still hurting from her loss. We cherish her memory and legacy as Princess Leia, and will always strive to honour everything she gave to ‘Star Wars’.”
‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ will be released on December 15, 2017 and sees the return of John Boyega (Finn), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Dohmnall Gleeson (General Hux), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) and Andy Serkis (Snoke).
Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran are all newcomers to the franchise.

Will Smith in talks to play assassin in Gemini Man

OHMYGOSSIP — Will Smith is in negotiations to play lead assassin in ‘Gemini Man’.
The 48-year-old actor, who last appeared in 2016 romance drama film ‘Collateral Beauty’, is being lined up by filmmakers Skydance to star in its upcoming action thriller, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film, which has been in the pipeline since 1997, is based on an ageing assassin who ends up getting involved in a battle with his clone that is 25 years younger than him and whom has sharper skills.
Ang Lee is also in talks to direct the project which is being produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
The original project, set up by Disney, was pitched by Darren Lake, with Don Murphy producing and Tony Scott directing. But it was put on hold for many years to allow the visual effects technology to catch up with the film concept.
The script has been tweaked along the way, and the idea of having two different actors play the assassin and the clone was scrapped in favour of having the Smith take on both roles as developments in filmmaking will enable him to play both different ages and fight against himself. Murphy is executive producer.
It is understood that Smith’s schedule will need to be worked around should he land the role as he is also in talks to voice The Genie in Disney’s live-action film ‘Aladdin’ plus he will be reprising his role as Deadshot in ‘Suicide Squad 2’ and is to reunite with Martin Lawrence for buddy cop sequel ‘Bad Boys 3’.

Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner are Lion King's Timon and Pumbaa

OHMYGOSSIP — Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner have been cast to play Timon and Pumbaa in ‘The Lion King’ remake.
Disney are rebooting the beloved 1994 animated movie with ‘Jungle Book’ filmmaker Jon Favreau helming the project and now it has been revealed that Rogen and Eichner are joining the cast which includes Donald Glover as Simba and James Earl Jones, who will reprise his role as Mufasa.
Eichner, 38, will play the lively meerkat Timon and farty warthog Pumbaa will be voiced by Rogen. The two characters are pivotal in the story of lion cub Simba when he is estranged from his pride and they sing the iconic song ‘Hakuna Matata’.
Rogen, 35, has voiced animated characters in films including ‘Kung Fu Panda’ and ‘Sausage Party’ and Eichner is best known for starring on ‘Parks and Recreation’ and ‘The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’.
In the 1994 animation Nathan Lane and Ernie Sabella voiced the duo with Matthew Broderick playing Simba.
The movie is set for a July 2019 release and Favreau is already in pre-production with Jeff Nathanson writing the script.
It’s rumoured Beyonce is the preferred choice to play Nala in ‘The Lion King’.
As well as keeping Sir Elton John and Tim Rice’s original songs, which include ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight’, ‘Be Prepared’ and ‘I Just Can’t Wait To Be King’, the remake will also feature some new tunes.
‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight’ played out over the credits and went on to win Best Original Song at the 1995 Academy Awards.
Disney has released a string of remakes as of late including ‘Maleficent’, ‘Cinderella’ and ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
Back in February, Disney revealed the movie is on the “fast-track to production” and the studio announced other remakes will be produced including ‘Dumbo’, ‘Aladdin’ and ‘Mulan’.

BBC hope new cooking show will be a hit

OHMYGOSSIP — BBC bosses are convinced ‘The Big Family Cooking Show’ will be a huge success.
The network’s producers were left heartbroken last year when its rival Channel 4 snatched the rights to its hit series ‘The Great British Bake Off’ but it seems they’re no longer bothered about the situation as they’re pouring all of their attention into their new cooking programme as they know it’ll be a big hit with viewers.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, the BBC’s station controller Patrick Holland said: “This was actually commissioned before ‘Bake Off’ went to Channel 4.
“But like all new shows, it’s a great idea and you commission it because you hope people will like it. Programmes grow as the audience likes them and responds to them.”
‘The Big Family Cooking Show’ will be presented by Zoe Ball and 2015’s ‘Bake Off’ winner Nadiya Hussain and will be launched on BBC 2 this summer.
While the BBC are busy working on their new cooking series, Channel 4 are pulling out all the stops to ensure they don’t lose any viewers now that ‘Bake Off’ has shifted to them.
The new instalment, which is expected to air later this year, will see Paul Hollywood – who was on the programme when it aired on the BBC – join forces with his new co-judge Prue Leith after Mary Berry turned her back on the series once Channel 4 bought the rights.

Simon Cowell wants more BGT golden buzzers

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Cowell wants to introduce the golden buzzer to the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ live shows.
The format of the programme currently sees each of the show’s judges – Simon, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon – and presenters Ant and Dec able to use their special button during the audition stages to fast-track their favourite acts into the semi-finals of the competition, but the show chief is now considering allowing them to do the same during the live shows in order to guarantee their favourites a place in the final.
A source said: “The golden buzzer is one of the favourite elements in the audition shows.
“The atmosphere when it is pressed is incredible. This will give the judges and Ant and Dec the chance to guarantee their favourite acts get a spot in the final.”
On each of the live shows, two acts are voted into the final.
Under the current voting system, the act that picks up the most public votes every night goes into the final and the judges then choose between the second and third most popular acts for the other spot.
However, if the golden buzzer rule is brought in, it would mean the judges and public have an equal say in who makes the finals.
The source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Producers believe it would make the five live semis even more exciting.”
Simon recently admitted he’d like to get his three-year-old son Eric – who he has with partner Lauren Silverman – on the judging panel of the show.
He said: “He definitely gets what is a good song. He remembers the words and he knows who the artists are. His taste in music for his age is quite incredible. When I watch the audition clips back afterwards, I watch him. If he’s interested in the clip, they’re usually very good. When he looks away, they’re not. He gets it and he loves coming to the show.
“The first time he came down, he was nervous because he saw an ‘X’ as being a kiss. That’s what his mum had taught him. So he used to call our judges’ buzzers The Scary Kisses.
“Then he worked out they weren’t kisses and, when he was about two, I asked him what I did for a job. He said ‘You press buzzers.’ I said ‘Yes but there’s a little bit more to it than that.’ And now he’s starting to get it.”

George Sampson to have hair transplant

OHMYGOSSIP — George Sampson is starting to go bald.
The former ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ winner – who picked up the trophy in 2008 – made a name for himself spinning on his head and back flipping across the stage but he has admitted his wild dance routines have started to have an effect on his appearance as he’s starting to lose chunks of his hair – and he’s only 23 years old.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: “It helped me get where I am. But it’s left me bald on top. When I was 14 I wasn’t that bothered because I wore hats. But I’m older now. I tried herbal remedies, steroids. It got so bad my girlfriend worried about me bowing at shows in case it was visible. Image is a massive part of what I do.”
The heartthrob is now planning to spend a whopping £9,000 on a hair transplant, which will see a robot pluck up to 2,000 hairs from the back of his head and then a surgeon will replant them by hand, at the Juvida clinic in Skipton, North Yorkshire.
He explained: “I’m bricking it but this is a lifeline. I want my own hair.”
But it’s not just his hair that has suffered as a consequence of his head-spinning moves as doctors warned him that his breakdancing could leave his crippled as he suffers with Scheuermann’s disease, a curvature of the spine that hits teenagers.
The condition even left George blind for two months when he was 14 years old.
He said at the time: “The eye was all inflamed. I’d been using Deep Heat for my sore back, so at first I just thought I’d got it in my eye. But I ended up blind. The spinal nerves were trapped and it affected my optic nerves. I lost all my co-ordination and it was really hard to dance, as I didn’t have my balance. I kept bumping into everything.”

Debbie McGee turned down for Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ bosses have been rejecting Debbie McGee for years.
The 58-year-old television personality – who is the wife of the late comedian Paul Daniels – has wanted to take part in the ballroom and latin show for a while now but “for whatever reason” she hasn’t been selected for the star-studded line up.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: “I would love to do ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. I have been put up for it before but for whatever reason I haven’t been chosen. I did ballet when I was young, I think that can be a disadvantage as you are very upright in ballet. But I am much older and I have not danced for years. I think I would be quite stiff now.”
Debbie tried to persuade producers last year to give her a space on the show as she thought it would be the perfect tribute to her husband Paul – who died in 2016 from a brain tumour – as he also competed on the programme in 2010.
She said at the time: “Paul was on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and that’s something I’d just love to do in his memory. I’m getting my agent to ring them. I’ve written it on my list of things to get finalised. I would love to do it.”
However, the pint-sized star isn’t sure who she will be partnered with if she does manage to creep on to the line up because Artem Chigvintsev is no longer there.
She said: “I’m not sure who they would partner me up with because they keep changing all the professionals. The best choreographer they had was Artem Chigvintsev.”
Meanwhile, this year’s show will be somewhat different as head judge Len Goodman turned his back on the programme at the end of the last series and is set to be replaced by someone else – although bosses are yet to choose their candidate.
