Ant McPartlin’s mother moves in

OHMYGOSSIP — Ant McPartlin has moved his mother into his London home.
The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ presenter – who recently completed a stint in rehab due to prescription drugs and booze addictions – has asked his mother Christine to stay at his home in the UK capital because his wife Lisa, 40, has returned to work as a make-up artist on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
Ant, 41, spent two months in rehab before going home to visit his mother in this native Newcastle.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “He needed to go home and get back to his roots – it was just the tonic he needed.
“Even though he is settled in London, Newcastle will always be his true home and going back there is like going back to normality for him.
“With his family all around him to support him and having visited his mum he is finally getting everything back together and can start working at making things up to Lisa.
“He is ashamed at what he has put her through and determined to make things right.
“But he knows that will take work and time.”
And Ant then asked Christine to come to London with him as he settles back into life after rehab.
Speaking previously about his mother’s thoughts on his prescription pills addiction and rehab stint, Ant said: “She’s happy to have me back.
“People do notice the difference in you when you’re down and depressed.
“She noticed it. She said she’s really happy to have her old son back, which is nice to hear.”

Katie Price has given a string of demands to Dancing On Ice bosses

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Price has issued a string of demands to ‘Dancing On Ice’ bosses, including creating her own costumes.
The former glamour model has reportedly told producers she wants a fee of at least £100,000 and warned them she won’t be taking part in any morning training sessions, and she’s also insisting on having a huge say in the skimpy costumes she wants to wear on the ice.
A source told Now Magazine: “Katie considers herself a real catch for the show so she wants them to make it worth her while.
“Obviously this is her job so the money will be a big deciding factor for her.
“In addition, Kate wants to create her own training schedule and have the option to wear her own designs on the ice – in order to show off as much of her body as possible.”
But while show chiefs are keen to get the 39-year-old beauty on the show, they’re wary of giving into her demands, especially as they fear her designs will be too daring for their family-friendly time slot.
The source said: “They are well aware that Katie loves flashing the flesh and they’re trying to make it clear to her that it’s a family show.
“Although they weren’t impressed when she insisted on afternoon training sessions only, it’s something they can work with – but seductive outfits are not.”
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist hinted recently that she would only be signing on for the skating contest when it returns next year if the price is right.
She said: “There’s a price for Pricey so we’ll just have to see if they’ve got the money, won’t we?”

David Tennant joins Mary Queen of Scots

OHMYGOSSIP — David Tennant has joined the cast of ‘Mary, Queen of Scots’.
The former ‘Doctor Who’ actor’s role is yet to be revealed, but he joins Dunkirk’s Jack Lowden, Guy Pearce, Martin Compston, Joe Alwyn and Downton Abbey’s Brendan Coyle in the forthcoming drama.
Margot Robbie is set to portray Queen Elizabeth I, who died in 1603, opposite Saoirse Ronan as the titular character.
The big screen project, which is being directed by Josie Rourke and is expected to go into production this year, is based on the true story of Mary Stuart’s attempt to overthrow her cousin Elizabeth’s seat on the English throne, which, ultimately, led to her being condemned to years in prison before facing execution.
Filming has begun in England and Scotland on the Working Title Films production.
The feature film is being produced by Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner and Debra Hayward.
Academy Award-nominee Beau Willimon has penned the script which is adaptation of John Guy’s biography ‘My Heart is My Own: The Life of Mary Queen of Scots’.
The movie is expected to be released next year.
The chairman of Focus, who own worldwide rights and will release the movie in the US, Peter Kujawski said: “We are privileged to be collaborating with our partners at Working Title on this stellar production, and with Josie as she makes the exciting move from stage to screen work. With two of today’s most vital actresses bringing to life two female titans, ‘Mary, Queen of Scots’ will be one of the movie events of 2018.”

Kathryn Bigelow wants Detroit to help end racial profiling

OHMYGOSSIP — Kathryn Bigelow hopes ‘Detroit’ will end “racial profiling”.
The 65-year-old filmmaker helmed the new movie based around the real life murders of three African American men during the 1960s race riots in the US city, and one of her main goals was to encourage viewers to start healthy debates about race issues.
Speaking at a press conference for the film at London hotel Claridge’s on Wednesday (16.08.17), Bigelow said: “If there is a chance for the film to create a positive dialogue and create some tensions, then that is my greatest aspiration.
“I hope it starts the conversation of ending racial profiling.
“I think any opportunity to try and meet head on with this racism is really important for me personally.”
This year marks 50 years since the incident in the Algiers Motel and Bigelow wanted to make the film to give an opportunity to tell the “tragic story”.
She said: “I think with this material and subsequent films I have made, lend itself to an immersive experience.
“I try to have an active relationship between the audience and the screen. I actually try to draw you in.
“I had this opportunity to tell this tragic story and give it a life of its own and a potential to create empathy for these characters.
“There were two reasons why I wanted to make this film. One because it was not well-known and also how it felt contemporary.
“These were the two elements that certainly motivated me.”
The film stars John Boyega, Hannah Murray, Algee Smith, Will Poulter, Jack Reynor and Anthony Mackie.
Many of the characters featured in the film are based on real people, including Melvin Dismukes (Boyega) and Julie Hysell (Murray), and the director has praised the cast for being “hugely responsible” for the way the movie developed.

Kate Beckinsale’s surprising career

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Beckinsale’s entire career has been a “surprise” to her.
The ‘Underworld’ actress insists she has never had a plan in place for her future, and didn’t set out to make her name in any particular film genre but thinks it’s “cool” she’s become known as an action star.
She said: “I have never really had a map of my career.
“So I always find myself going, ‘Oh I’m here – this is a surprise!’
“I never, ever saw myself doing an action movie, yet I’ve found myself becoming closely associated with that genre.
“This is continually surprising to me and at the same time kind of cool, too.”
The 44-year-old actress can next be seen opposite Pierce Brosnan in drama ‘The Only Living Boy in New York’ and she liked the fact the film – in which she beds a father and his son – was relatable.
She told HELLO! magazine: “What I like about it is that it’s very much about people being human and flawed and still being decent. Let’s face it, we’re all just bumbling along.”
The film was shot in New York and took the British star – who has 18-year-old daughter Lily with former partner Michael Sheen – back to her first filming experience in the States.
She recalled: “My first American movie, ‘The Last Days of Disco’, was shot in New York.
“I was so terrified to be away from my family and life in Britain and here in this city that I had only seen in movies and was sooo intimidated by… But I had an amazing time and made some really close friends.
“I returned to make ‘Serendipity’ when Lily was a baby. She said her first words, and learned to walk there so it’s special to me for that.”

John Boyega confirms Star Wars celebrity cameos

OHMYGOSSIP — John Boyega has confirmed Princes William and Harry and Tom Hardy recorded cameos for ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi’.
The 25-year-old actor – who will reprise his role as former Stormtrooper Finn in the sequel – has revealed the royal brothers and the ‘Dunkirk’ star were both on set at Pinewood Studios last year, but hasn’t confirmed or denied that they are set to play Stormtroopers or if their parts have been cut from the movie.
Speaking to BBC Radio 4, Boyega joked: “I think they took that scene out.”
Moaning about how he’s tired of keeping details of the movie under wraps, he added:
“I’ve had enough with those Prince William secrets, man. They came on set; they were there, man. Tom Hardy was there, too – I said it. I’m sick of hiding this.”
In April last year, William and Harry are believed to have been filmed alongside Boyega and Daisy Ridley (Rey).
A source said at the time: “The line given was that they were going to have lunch and a private tour of the rest of the set. What really happened is that the director came over and told them it was time to ‘get suited’ and off they went to the wardrobe department.
“The princes dressed up in full Stormtrooper gear and filmed a scene in which Rey and Finn infiltrate a secret base.
“The rebel characters are in a lift with Benicio del Toro’s character when a group of Stormtroopers enter – two of whom are William and Harry.”
A spokesman for the princes “neither confirmed nor denied” the royals’ roles, adding: “The princes had a great day showcasing the British talent behind ‘Star Wars’.”
If William, Harry and Hardy do end up appearing as Stormtroopers, it will be the first celebrity to do so after Daniel Craig – who once featured in a London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony sketch with the princes’ grandmother, Queen Elizabeth – appeared as Stormtrooper JB-007 in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ in 2015.

Stephen Bear in talks for Celebrity Big Brother?

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephen Bear is in talks to re-enter the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.
The 27-year-old hunk has claimed he’s been offered the chance to return to the famous abode after he won last year to stir things up and cause a “hurricane”
He told The Sun Online, he said: “I could be going in ‘Celeb Big Brother’.
“There are offers being banded about for me to go in there but I don’t know whether to do it or not.
“They want me to go in asap right for the end. There’s still two weeks left.
“We are negotiating on terms at the moment. If I go in there will be a hurricane.”
It comes after Stephen had a row about his commitment to girlfriend Charlotte Crosby.
The former ‘Geordie Shore’ star called time on her romance with the reality star on Wednesday (16.08.17), but made a drastic U-turn as she’s blamed her outburst on alcohol.
Apologising for her behaviour, the blonde beauty said on Snapchat: “So, I would like to explain and apologise for my behaviour last night. The top and bottom of it is I was a massive d**k. A massive drunken d**k who decided to go on her Snapchat and every other social media to tell nearly six million people a load of s**t. Obviously no relationship is perfect, you always have your ups and downs, but I just feel like I just did what any other girl does when they see red and I am sorry for that. Me and Stephen aren’t actually separated or finished. We just had a little bit of a row.”
During his time on the Channel 5 show in 2016, Steven had a fling with Chloe Khan and things got messy when he started a food fight with Aubrey O’Day.
Should the former ‘Celebs Got Dating’ star get to go back into the house, he would be competing with remaining housemates, Sarah Harding, Chad Johnson, Sandi Bogle, Shaun Williamson, Jemma Lucy, Derek Acorah, Amelia Lily, Helen Lederer and Sam Thompson to win the prize money of £50,000, which the champion will donate to a charity of their choice.

Chad Johnson and Sarah Harding are official

OHMYGOSSIP — Chad Johnson asks Sarah Harding to be his girlfriend in tonight’s (19.08.17) episode of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The pair have been inseparable in recent weeks and when Sam Thompson asks the pair if they are “official” Chad makes it clear the former Girls Aloud singer is his girlfriend.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ star asks: “So is it official yet?”
Chad replies: “Do I need to ask her to make it official? Will you be my girlfriend?”
And Sarah simply says: “OK.”
Chad and Sarah’s relationship has caused controversy for the ‘Love Machine’ hitmaker ever since she revealed she’s been dating someone on the outside for the past four weeks.
The 35-year-old beauty said they need to “tone down their romance” a bit because she doesn’t want to hurt her beau as he’s probably watching her behaviour.
She said: “There’s going to be some pretty bad consequences.”
However, Sarah was forced to face up to her antics after she and Chad – who at the time she claimed was her “best friend” – were caught smooching on camera.
She explained: “We got busted big time. We care about each other and we’re best friends in the house, but I just want to draw a line under it. I just feel terrible that I let my emotions get the better of me… I don’t want to make a fool out of anybody.
“You’re single and I’ve only been dating for four weeks, but I don’t want to hurt someone who is a good person – they don’t deserve to be hurt. I need to respect other people on the outside and take responsibility for my actions.”
Speaking about their kiss in the diary room later on, Chad said: “You can tell she’s pulled back and I have to do the same. I’m not happy about it. She says we got caught up in the emotions, but I didn’t get caught up, I knew I liked her.”

Kelly Brook in talks for own gardening show

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Brook is in talks to have her own gardening TV show.
The 37-year-old former glamour model has made no secret of the fact she’s a green-fingered goddess and would love to front her own small screen project.
In an interview with OK! magazine, Kelly said: “I think they need to do a show for young people about gardening – sorting community gardens or balcony gardens. Not everyone has a garden and not everyone can afford a house.
“I have (pitched the idea to TV bosses). If there’s an opportunity, I’m sure they’ll be hiring me into the mix. But I don’t think you’ll be seeing me on Gardener’s World.
“I think that’s a little bit out of my league. I’m not a horticulturalist, I’m not a designer or a landscape gardener, I’m just a passionate amateur gardener.”
And Kelly put her passion to good use when she worked on the on the ‘Chelsea Flower Show’ this year.
She added: “I’m very fortunate, I have an amazing home and garden as that’s what I invested my money in.”
But should talks not be a success, the beauty, who is dating Jeremy Parisi, has refused to star on ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’
She explained: “I don’t think I’d be very good on one of those shows.
“I’m a bit of a loner, and I couldn’t even share my toothbrush with Jeremy, let alone share a bed with a complete stranger!”

Paul Danan: Sarah Harding pretended she wasn’t drinking

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Danan has claimed Sarah Harding is lying about her drinking habits in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.
The former ‘Hollyoaks’ actor got the boot from the Channel 5 show’s famous abode on Friday night (18.08.17), in a double eviction along with Brandi Glanville, and has claimed the former Girls Aloud singer faked drinking a non-alcoholic orange drink inside the famous abode.
The 39-year-old hunk says the 35-year-old beauty should just be honest and accept she isn’t a recovering alcoholic and just have “fun”.
He told The Sun Online: “Sarah would pretend she was drinking an orange juice when you knew she was holding four cans of booze and a white wine and a champagne all in her two hands.
“It made me think, ‘Why are you saying you’re in recovery and doing well?’
“”Just have a good time and be up front with it.
“Don’t pretend, it annoyed me, that’s why I was defensive and said a few things to her.”
It comes after Jordan Davies, who was evicted earlier this week, claimed Sarah had been downing booze secretly with her love interest Chad Johnson.
The former ‘Ex on the Beach’ star says while Sarah is a nice person, as soon as she had alcohol she turned into a “nightmare”.
He said: “She’s lovely in the day, then she has a drink then she’s an absolute nightmare. Her and Chad were hiding bottles of wine, not looking after Derek (Acorah), Sandi (Bogle).
“Sarah never got Sandi a drink, Derek a drink, Helen (Lederer) a drink, then she was accusing me of hiding drinks, I was like are you taking the p***?
“She cannot handle it. She’s just an absolute nightmare and a horrible person.”
The 25-year-old hunk also called her fling with Chad fake and said she should think about the fact she is a role model.
He added: “She’s meant to be a role model but she’s getting p***ed, nicking fags; act your age!
“Also, this whole Chad Johnson thing is bulls***!”
Since the blonde beauty has been in the house she has raised eyebrows with her erratic behaviour.
One night she downed alcohol, pranced around in the pool in her bikini and then bit her fellow housemate Amelia Lily’s leg.
At the time, she sobbed: “I didn’t want to drink in here, for f***s sake! Now it’s all ruined.”

Vanessa White joins I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!?

OHMYGOSSIP — Vanessa White has reportedly signed up for ‘Im A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The former Saturdays singer is the latest star rumoured to be heading into the Australian jungle for the ITV reality show later this year.
The ‘All Fired Up’ hitmaker would be Down Under at the same time her bandmate Molly King competes on BBC’s One’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The busty brunette called time on their six-year relationship with stylist Gary Salter earlier this year and is looking for a “challenge” after becoming single.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Vanessa is a stunning girl from a massive girl band so she’s an exciting first signing for I’m A Celebrity.
The bosses are super keen to have her.
“She’s still focussing on her music career but is up for the challenge since being newly single.”
It comes after the show’s bosses silenced rumours Mike Thalassitis will take part in this year’s show.
The ‘Love Island’ hunk and his fellow reality star pal Johnny Mitchell were recently believed to be in the line-up to star in the upcoming series of the popular programme, which is presented by comedy duo Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.
However, a source revealed neither have been recruited because they will add “nothing new” to the forthcoming season.
An insider said: “We accept that some of the stars of ‘Love Island’ have now become celebrities thanks to the show – but they’re not for us.
“Viewers have only just recently seen them for seven weeks in a reality show – they’d add nothing new to our show.”
However, it is believed former England rugby union star Ben Cohen is in the mix after he showed how “popular” he is with viewers following his appearance on ‘Strictly’ in 2013.
A separate insider previously said: “Ben’s name was straight on the list for this year. He is popular with viewers, as his ‘Strictly’ stint showed, and appeals to sports fans. He’s also a gay icon so he ticks a lot of boxes.
“It looks like the producers might get their man.”
Other stars who have been tipped to fight for the title of king or queen of the jungle include Ryan Thomas, after his brother Adam came in the top three during last year’s show, Rebekah Vardy, Craig Charles, and former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star Danielle Armstrong.

Joanne Clifton praises ‘perfect parents’ Ore and Portia Oduba

OHMYGOSSIP — Joanne Clifton thinks Ore Oduba and his wife Portia will make “perfect parents.”
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star wowed judges last series when she won the competition with sports presenter Ore and has admitted they pair are still best friends now and are thrilled that the couple are expecting their first child together.
Speaking to Star Magazine, Joanne said: “We’re best friends and call each other almost every day. I’m so happy that he and his Portia are expecting a baby. They’re going to be the most perfect parents.”
Although the dancer is still single, she claims she isn’t “looking” but wants her brother Kevin and his wife Karen to have a baby.
She said: “Karen keeps mentioning it. I’d love for them to have a baby because I’m not having one soon – I haven’t even got a boyfriend. She wants to call the baby Grimsby.
“I’ve been single for a while now. If someone comes along, great, but I’m not looking.
“It’s hard to find someone who’d accept the life I have at the moment. If I’m touring for months, I wouldn’t see them.”
The dancer stepped away from the show and is now taking on a new role in ‘Flashdance: The Musical’ and although asking for her costumes to be longer on ‘Strictly’, Joanne is now donning leotards and knickers.
She said: “I’m the only girl on ‘Strictly’ who’d ask for my costumes to be lengthened rather than shortened.
“Now, I’m in leotards and knickers on stage, I’m like ‘what’s happened to me?’
“I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember. It’s probably what I love the most. I achieved what I wanted in ballroom dancing, now I’m living a childhood dream.
“Maybe I could do a musical theatre album.”

Brandi Glanville and Paul Danan leave Celebrity Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Brandi Glanville and Paul Danan have been evicted from ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star and the former ‘Hollyoaks’ actor found themselves both being booted off the Channel 5 reality show on Friday (18.08.17) during the live double evictions, making them the fourth and fifth housemates to be evicted from the infamous house.
The two stars failed to secure enough votes from the public after they were nominated – alongside Helen Lederer and Derek Acora, who were saved by the viewers – by fellow housemates Sarah Harding and Sam Thompson during this week’s murder mystery based task.
After being evicted, Brandi, 44, took a moment to slam Girls Aloud star Sarah for her “co-dependent” romance inside the house with Chad Johnson.
Speaking to host Emma Willis in her post-eviction interview, Brandi said: “I just feel like how do you suddenly become so co-dependent. She kept talking about her fans and she was getting special treatment so he saw her as some sort of golden child and hopped on the bandwagon.”
Meanwhile Paul, 39, admitted he was “gutted” to have been booted from the show, as he hoped he would have finished in a respectable third place.
He added: “I hoped I’d find the real me, and I did.”
And the star – who was known for being one of the first ‘Love Island’ contestants in 2005 – even thanked ‘Big Brother’ for his time on the show.
He said: “Thank you ‘Big Brother’ for having me. You’ve given me a second chance.”
Brandi and Paul’s evictions come after ‘Ex on the Beach’ star Jordan Davies was given the boot earlier this week, and ‘Mob Wives’ beauty Marissa Jade and former ‘Apprentice’ hopeful Karthik Nagesan were kicked off last week.
YouTube star Trisha Paytas has also since left the house, after storming out over the weekend.

Jamie Bell remains ‘disappointed’ about the Fantastic Four

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Bell feels “bitterly disappointed” about the ‘Fantastic Four’ movie.
The 31-year-old actor played the Thing in the much-maligned superhero film in 2015, and despite the passing of time, Jamie still harbours regrets about the movie.
He explained: “There were several things on that movie I was clearly not privy to because I’m just an actor and I just do my stuff on set.
“But with something like that, everything starts with the best of intentions. A production begins with the idea to make something that’s unique and original and with integrity. I think the film really strived towards those goals.”
But Jamie admitted he still can’t explain why the movie failed to match the expectations of fans.
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times newspaper, he said: “I don’t know what happened between the launch of the voyage and the arrival.
“I think we were all bitterly disappointed with that film. But that’s just the way it goes sometimes.”
Jamie has played a variety of roles during his career, starring in movies such as ‘Billy Elliot’ and ‘The Adventures of Tintin’.
And the British star thinks he’s reached a stage in his professional life whereby he can enjoy some degree of freedom.
He shared: “My career is like a pinball machine. There’s really very little that is consistent about it. There are some very bizarre contrasts.
“But I like that I’m in a position now where I don’t have to play a certain kind of role.”

Ryan Reynolds admits his chemistry with Samuel L. Jackson is ‘lucky’

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Reynolds thinks he’s “lucky” to have developed such good chemistry with Samuel L. Jackson.
The 40-year-old actor stars alongside the Hollywood icon in the new Patrick Hughes-directed comedy ‘The Hitman’s Bodyguard’ and Ryan has revealed just how much he enjoyed performing with Jackson.
He explained: “These are two guys who are very steeped in their personas, right from the get-go.
“I mean, you know who Sam’s character is within two minutes and you know who my character is within two minutes … so you just put them together and the chemistry is there.”
Ryan – who stars as Michael Bryce, a triple A-rated executive protection agent, in the movie – also revealed how much of his on-screen performances are improvised.
Speaking to Collider, he shared: “For me, all of it … I’ll write alternatives. Like, for ‘Deadpool’, I’ll write 10 alts and it seems like I’m improvising on the day. Some people go, ‘Woah, you’re improvising a lot.’
“But I’m not. I’m just remembering all of my alts, you know.”
Meanwhile, Jackson recently claimed he’s never worried about being the lead in a movie.
The Hollywood star is among the best-known faces in the movie industry, but has insisted his career choices have never been driven by ego.
He explained: “I watched movies all my life. And I knew who character actors are.
“I always wanted to be those guys that move the story along in a way, or when you saw them, you knew a specific kind of thing was going to happen.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tiffany Haddish is attached to star in ‘Night School’ opposite Kevin Hart.
The 37-year-old actress, who landed her breakout role in ‘Girls Trip’, has joined the cast of Universal’s upcoming comedy which follows a group of misfits who are forced to attend adult classes in the hope that they will pass their exams, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
‘Night School’ is written by Hart who has teamed up with Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells and Matt Kellard, with additional script work by Nick Stoller.
Not only will the new project see Haddish reunite with the Universal film studio, but she will be working under the watchful eye of Malcolm D. Lee, who also directed ‘Girls Trip’ and producer Will Packer.
Packer is producing for his Will Packer Productions alongside Hart, who is producing via his Hartbeat Productions banner.
Haddish previously starred in ‘Girls Trip’ alongside Regina Hall, Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett-Smith and is due to release her first stand-up show ‘Tiffany Haddish: She Ready! From The Hood to Hollywood’ on Showtime today (18.08.17).
Hart is also starring in the ‘Jumanji’ reboot, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, and director Jake Kasdan has insisted the new film will pay tribute to the original 1995 movie.
‘Night School’ is expected to be released in September 2018, but before then, Haddish will next be seen in the upcoming TBS series ‘The Last O.G’ starring opposite Tracy Morgan.
