Tyla Carr’s dead granddad didn’t like Jonny Mitchell

OHMYGOSSIP — Tyla Carr thinks the ghost of her dead granddad threw plastic in Jonny Mitchell’s face.
The ‘Love Island’ star is convinced her late relative – who sadly passed away just before she entered the famous villa over the summer – was trying to warn her off the handsome star by giving her a subtle sign while they were talking over crisps in the house.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the 23-year-old beauty said: “I did have this moment in ‘Love Island’ when I was talking to Jonny Mitchell about Camilla Thurlow. And my granddad always said he’d give a sign if he didn’t like something or someone.
“So all of a sudden, I’m eating crisps with the hummus dip and on the hummus dip there was this clear plastic thing that fell off and I put it on the side of the bed and as we’re talking, he said something like wanting to go on a date with me.
“And I went: ‘Oh well, you never know, things change like the wind.’ And suddenly the wind blew this plastic thing straight in his face.
“My granddad was giving him a massive slap in the face.”
Despite her granddad’s warning, the brunette beauty still struck up a brief romance with Jonny but then bedded ‘Muggy’ Mike Thalassitis 24 hours after the hunk left the villa.
Prior to entering the house, Tyla promised her granddad that she’d be a “good girl.”
She said: “Before I went in there, he [her granddad] passed away and he gave me the best of luck and I promised I’d be a good girl.
“The day before he passed away I said to him: ‘I’m not going to do it if you’re still ill.’ And he said: ‘No matter what, you better go on this show. I’m really proud of you and whether I’m there or not, I’m with you every step of them.’ ”

Stephen Bear has a new girlfriend

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephen Bear reportedly has a new girlfriend.
The former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star has only just split from his on/off partner Charlotte Crosby last month, but it hasn’t taken him too long to find someone new as it’s believed he’s now romancing a teenager called Elizabeth who he met at a nightclub.
Speaking to The Sun Online: “Bear and Elizabeth met when he did a personal appearance at Kosho in Romford – it was a night called Fraternity – and he was sitting at a table and they got talking. They stayed in contact and got to know each other and they’ve been seeing each other ever since. She’s even met his mum and dad.
“Elizabeth is a really nice girl – she works in Sainsburys in Romford, on the Argos desk. She’s 18, really good fun and a sweet girl.”
The news that the 27-year-old hunk has met someone new will no doubt come as a huge blow to Charlotte as she has admitted she’s struggling to eat after the split.
She said recently: “I’m in good shape at the moment as I’m on the heartbreak diet. No Ben & Jerry’s or Christmas cake for me – I can’t eat.”
But, although she’s still nursing a broken heart, Charlotte is looking forward to some boozy nights out with her girl pals over the next few weeks.
The 27-year-old beauty added: “You’ve got to surround yourself with friends and family. That’s what I’m doing – my best friend Holly Hagan has been amazing.
“I went on a girls’ holiday to Lanzarote recently, which was a great way to take my mind off everything/ We’ve been having lots of girls’ nights out too – I’m looking forward to the girlie Christmas nights out with no boys!”

Jason Gardiner slaps sex ban on Dancing on Ice contestants

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Gardiner has slapped a sex ban on this year’s ‘Dancing on Ice’ contestants.
The 46-year-old TV judge has advised the celebrities to abstain from sex and alcohol over Christmas, because he fears it will harm their chances on the show, which returns to TV screens in 2018.
He said: “They need to avoid alcohol, any overindulgence on Christmas Day and sex.
“Absolutely no sex. It drains you of your chi. I’m being serious. Like boxers, they will have to abstain. I’m going to.”
Despite taking a keen interest in the celebrities’ lifestyles, Jason revealed he doesn’t really see them as being different to anyone else.
The upcoming series will feature the likes of Brooke Vincent, Donna Air and Cheryl Baker, but Jason won’t be giving them any special treatments.
He told The Sun newspaper: “I don’t see them as celebrities. When you first meet them, they are all very cool.
“It’s mainly everyone around them that gets offended – ‘I can’t believe you just said that’ – but they are just people and they want to be treated evenly and equally in this competition.”
And Jason has even suggested that this year’s coaches-turned-judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean won’t be spared his criticism.
He joked: “It’s going to be very difficult to sit there and argue with your idols. But, at the end of the day they are on my panel.
“It’s going to be tough, I’m not going to lie, but I won’t bow down to them if I think they are wrong.
“If I disagree with them then I will fight my corner. It wouldn’t be ‘Dancing on Ice’ without the judging drama. I can’t wait for it to start.”

Fredrik Ferrier knew co-star Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo would win I’m A Celeb

OHMYGOSSIP — Made in Chelsea’s Fredrik Ferrier knew instantly Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo would win ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The 28-year-old hunk says he and his co-stars on the E4 show initially thought the 23-year-old star would come across as “stuck up”, but says her charming personality won over her fellow campmates and viewers of the ITV1 survival programme.
He said: “As soon as she went on I knew she was going to win.
“She’s a very positive character, she makes every feel very special when she talks to them. She genuinely listens, and I think she went in with people thinking, ‘what’s she going to be like, is she going to be stuck up’? but actually she’s really friendly and everyone enjoyed getting to know the real her.”
Fred says Georgia has much “bigger” things in the pipeline since being crowned Queen of the Australian jungle, and that he still hasn’t spoken to the blonde beauty since she came back home to Chelsea.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “She’s going to go on to huge things now, she’ll keep getting bigger and bigger – I’m really happy for her. I haven’t seen her yet as the whole world wants to speak to her.
“I’ll wait until it’s died down a bit then go and have some drinks with her.”
Within weeks of beating the likes of Jennie McAlpine, Jamie Lomas and Iain Lee to the title, Toff teased she is working on a secret project for ‘This Morning’.
The reality babe has teamed up with the ITV daytime show for a mystery venture.
The programme looks set to see her paraglide across the glaciers during her holiday in Verbier, Switzerland.
Georgia shared a string of videos on her Instagram Story, which lasts on the photo-sharing site for 24 hours, of her on the slopes.
Speaking in the clips, the blonde-haired beauty said: “I am so excited I am about to go paragliding, it’s like paraskiing.”
And the star thinks the thrill-seeking moment will resemble a scene out of ‘Bridget Jones’s Diary’, which sees Renee Zellwegger play the lead comic role in the franchise.
She continued: ” I feel like this is about to be my Bridget Jones moment, you know, when she goes down the fireman’s pole.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Laila Morse is returning to ‘EastEnders’.
The 71-year-old actress is “really excited” to be reprising her role as Slater family matriarch Big Mo Harris, a part she first played in 2000, and will be returning to Walford next spring alongside Jean Slater, who is played by Gillian Wright, and granddaughter Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace).
Laila said: “I’m really excited to be coming back.
“It’s the one question I’m constantly asked. I can’t wait to see everyone and get stuck back into life in Walford.”
And Jean – who plays Stacey Slater’s mother – is “delighted” to be back in Albert Square again, after leaving in 2013, though she’s made a string of guest appearances since then.
She said: “I am delighted the Slater women are to be reunited once more.
“I have always adored working alongside Lacey, Jessie and Laila and I am looking forward to being reacquainted with everyone at EastEnders again.”
Meanwhile, Jessie, 46, is “thrilled” to be able to confirm reports she’s returning to ‘EastEnders’, despite fans fearing her beloved alter ego was dead following a boat accident in spin-off show ‘Redwater’.
She said: “I am thrilled to be returning to ‘EastEnders’ next year and knowing what John Yorke has in store for the Slaters is incredibly exciting.
“I love Kat and Walford dearly and I cannot wait to get started – watch out Walford, Kat’s coming home.”
Executive producer John Yorke – who created the Slater family during his previous stint on the show – is overjoyed to be bringing his favourite characters back together.
He said: “The Slaters are one of the all-time great families in EastEnders and Albert Square has never felt quite the same since they scattered to different ends of the country, and in some cases beyond.
“It has been a real joy to find a way to bring them back together and we’re incredibly excited about where we are taking them next.
“It won’t just be familiar Slaters either as there are a couple of twists and characters to add fresh spice to an iconic creation.”

Kellie Bright to vegan next month

OHMYGOSSIP — Kellie Bright is going vegan in January.
The ‘EastEnders’ star – who is known for playing Linda Carter in the soap – has decided to give up meat for a whole month next year as part of the famous Veganuary pledge, which aims to reduce the suffering of billions of animals and help the planet, and stop splashing so much cash online as part of her New Year’s resolution.
Speaking to Woman’s Own magazine, she said: “I am doing Veganuary! I’m going vegan for a month and I am going to stop online clothes shopping.”
But, before then, she will gorge on some calorific treats over the festive season and is even more excited about it this year because of her sons Freddie, six, and Gene, 12 months.
She explained: “It just makes it really exciting again! Before I had them, I still really loved it but it didn’t have the same magic as when you were a kid. I think that’s the really lovely thing about having children or being around children.”
But the same can’t be said for her alter ego as Linda’s family will be plagued with heartbreak over Christmas as they have just had the Queen Vic snatched from them.
She said: “It’s made me think how odd it will be to be here and now be in The Vic. The prospect of losing it taints Christmas but whatever happens, they’ve got each other.”

Lupita Nyong’o was challenged filming Black Panther

OHMYGOSSIP — Lupita Nyong’o felt “challenged” when shooting ‘Black Panther’.
The 34-year-old actress stars as Nakia in the new Marvel Cinematic Universe movie by Ryan Coogler, and Nyong’o revealed the filmmaker avoided the “expected female-rival narrative” in the latest film.
Speaking to Teen Vogue, Nyong’o said: “Ryan made a point of avoiding the expected female-rival narrative. In this genre, where spandex is involved, oftentimes the women are pitted against each other. In our story, there are so many different women holding their own space. Women may be in competition with each other, sure, but that doesn’t necessarily mean there’s an absence of love or respect. Shuri [Letitia Wright] is the sister to the Black Panther [Chadwick Boseman] and the leader of technological pursuits and Nakia is someone who has a complicated history with the Black Panther and is a warrior in her own right. You see them work together, and you see a dynamic that is really encouraging. Making this film awakened me. I walked away from this experience feeling extremely supported and I felt challenged.”
The motion picture is expected to expand on the storyline that was first introduced in ‘Captain America: Civil War’ of how T’Challa becomes the Black Panther.
T’Challa’s father T’Chaka is king of the African nation Wakanda and has the ceremonial title Black Panther as the chief of the Panther Tribe, but is killed when a bomb goes off at the UN making his son the Black Panther.
Other actors in the movie include Forest Whitaker, who will take on the role of Zuri, an elder statesman in Wakanda, and ‘The Walking Dead’ star Danai Gurira, who is to portray Okoye, the head of the Dora Milaje, the Black Panther’s personal bodyguards.

Ridley Scott won’t release Kevin Spacey’s All the Money in the World

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Ridley Scott will never releasing Kevin Spacey’s cut of ‘All the Money in the World’.
The 80-year-old filmmaker helmed the new John Paul Getty biopic and decided to cut Spacey from the film after he was accused of sexual harassment and assault by numerous men, following actor Anthony Rapp’s allegation that he made inappropriate advances to him when he was 14 years old.
Scott brought in Hollywood legend Christopher Plummer to play the Getty Oil Company magnate instead.
The filmmaker spent $10 million reshooting 22 scenes in the kidnapping drama with his new-look cast, and has now admitted he will be putting away Spacey’s version of the film.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, Scott said: “[It’s] highly unlikely. I think this would be put away for a while. That version, because I wouldn’t want to bring it out. It wouldn’t be right, put it that way.”
The film follows the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer) and the desperate attempt by his devoted mother Gail (Michelle Williams) to convince his billionaire grandfather (Plummer) to pay the ransom.
Recently Williams and Mark Wahlberg, who stars as advisor and CIA operative Fletcher Chase, revealed they didn’t ask for more money to be added on to their salaries when they did the re-shoots.
Williams, 37, said: “I just thought that this experience that we had all treasured was going to be essentially flushed down the toilet.
“I adore [Ridley], worship him, would do anything for him. I hated that this man’s time and expertise and gentlemanly-ness was going to be kind of for naught. So when I got the phone call about the change of plans I was thrilled. I was enlivened, it picked me up off the couch a little bit and got me excited. I said I’d be wherever they needed me, whenever they needed me. And they could have my salary, they could have my holiday, whatever they wanted. Because I appreciated so much that they were making this massive effort.”

Bill Skarsgard used his own facial twitches in IT

OHMYGOSSIP — Bill Skarsgard used his real-life facial twitches to bring Pennywise the Clown to life in ‘IT’.
The 27-year-old actor stars as the terrifying, child murdering monster in Andy Muschietti’s re-imagining of Stephen King’s 1986 horror novel and his portrayal of the evil clown has been hailed by fans and critics alike, and now Skarsgard has spoken out what it took to portray Pennywise on screen.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, Skarsgard said: “I do this thing with my lip. It’s a thing that I’ve been doing since I was a little kid, and I always wanted to bring this, like, lip thing into a character. I just put all these things together to make as much of a weird, disturbing performance as possible.”
‘IT’ was heralded by critics and went on to become the highest grossing R-rated film of all time.
The hit re-imagining follows a group of youngsters who are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against terrifying clown Pennywise.
A sequel has already been announced when the kids have grown up into adults and are forced to revisit their horrors as one by one they encounter Pennywise again. The second film is slated for a September 2019 release.
Although no casting has been announced for the adult sequel, 14-year-old Jaeden Lieberher – who stars as Bill the leader of The Loser’s Club – already knows who he would like to play the older version of his character.
Speaking to Variety, Lieberher said: “I think Ewan McGregor would be interesting. I don’t want to offend him or anything, but he might be too old. I love Ewan McGregor, and I think he’s a great actor. I think he could play Bill very well.”
Recently, filmmaker Muschietti revealed he wants Jessica Chastain to play an older Beverly in the ‘IT’ sequel.

Rebel Wilson teases Pitch Perfect spin-off

OHMYGOSSIP — Rebel Wilson thinks her ‘Pitch Perfect’ character should get her own spin-off film.
The 37-year-old actress-and-comedian has starred as Patricia ‘Fat Amy’ Hobart in the hit a capella musical trilogy, and as the franchise comes to an end, Wilson has revealed there are rumours surrounding a new movie which explores her alter ego’s life.
Speaking on UK TV show ‘Lorraine’ on Wednesday (20.12.17), Wilson said: “There have been rumours. So we’ll see how ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ goes for now and then who knows. If you think about it, why was a random Australian girl in an American university? She’s a bit mysterious if you think about some of things Fat Amy says – she’s wrestled crocodiles and she’s done all these crazy things.”
The third film follows the Bellas singing group who find themselves split apart and discovering there aren’t many job prospects for people with their talents.
But when they get the chance to reunite for an overseas USO tour, the group come together to make some music.
The movie also stars Elizabeth Banks, Hailee Steinfeld, Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow and Anna Camp.
Wilson also admitted she would love to work on more ‘Pitch Perfect’ films in the future, whatever they may be.
She said: “We have so many fans all around the world. When they put out the poster for ‘Pitch 3’ it said ‘Last call, Pitches’ and we were like, ‘What, are we out of a job?’ We want to do four and five! There’s many other a capella teams to battle out there, I personally think, and I love playing my character ‘Fat Amy’. She’s such a fun confident girl and I want to definitely continue to play her more.”
And Wilson would work with ‘Pitch Perfect’ scribe Kay Cannon on any project.
Speaking at the film’s world premiere in Hollywood earlier this month, she said: “I’m sure I’ll work with Kay again. She’s so brilliant.
“And now she’s directing her own movies. I’m sure our paths will cross again. She actually sent me the original ‘Pitch Perfect’ script on Facebook after seeing some of my outtakes from ‘Bridesmaids’. That’s how I was the first person cast.”

Rian Johnson recreated Yoda puppet for Star Wars: The Last Jedi

OHMYGOSSIP — Rian Johnson “recreated” the Yoda puppet from the original ‘Star Wars’ trilogy for ‘The Last Jedi’.
The 44-year-old filmmaker helmed the eighth movie in the sci-fi franchise and in a surprising scene, the little green Jedi Master makes an appearance and speaks with Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker.
Yoda – who has featured in six of the eight movies so far – was created by ‘The Muppets’ creator Jim Henson for the original movies but in two of the prequels, the character was CGI but in his latest cameo, Johnson confirmed it was a puppet.
Speaking to Wired, Johnson said: “He was 100 per cent puppet. We actually recreated the puppet from ‘The Empire Strikes Back’. They found original moulds, and Frank Oz came out and puppeteered him.
“It was exactly the way they would’ve done it when they shot ‘Empire’.”
The character died during ‘Episode VI: Return of the Jedi’ but was seen as a Jedi-Force ghost alongside Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker at the end of the film and now in ‘The Last Jedi’.
Yoda has also appeared in the animated TV spin-off series ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’.
Recently, John Boyega who stars as stormtrooper-turned-Resistance fighter Finn in the new trilogy revealed he wants to see a Yoda origin story.
Speaking to Collider, Boyega said: “I think they need to go back to the Old Republic, how they do in the games, and discover what’s going on there. There’s some cool stuff in the ‘Star Wars’ universe they can use, there’s cool fan theories they can use that could be part of the movies too, I mean, why not? Personally, I want to see a Yoda origin story.”

Karen Gillan says the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle cast was ‘intimidating’

OHMYGOSSIP — Karen Gillan found working with the star-studded cast on ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ to be intimidating.
The 30-year-old actress appears alongside the likes of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Kevin Hart and Jack Black in the Jake Kasdan-directed action movie, and Karen has admitted she was initially a little overawed to be working with some of Hollywood’s most well-known performers.
She explained: “There’s definitely a level of intimidation that comes with just working with people who are at the top of their field and you’re relatively new.
“But also, what you get when people are that good at it, is that it’s easier for you because they know how to support you and set you up for things. So, it’s slightly intimidating, but also easier.”
The movie is a standalone sequel to the 1995 hit ‘Jumanji’, which starred the late comedian Robin Williams.
And although Karen understands why some fans feel frustrated by the ever-increasing number of reboots and sequels, she feels ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ still manages to feel original.
Speaking to Collider, the Scottish star shared: “In these times, we’re inundated with reboots, remakes and sequels, so everybody is feeling a little like, ‘Where is the original content?’
“But every once in awhile, you get something like this, that is original while still being a sequel, which is quite rare.”
Karen also revealed that a significant proportion of the new movie was improvised by the star-studded cast.
She said: “There’s a ton of improvised dialogue in the film. Jake, the director, is extremely collaborative, so we got to sit down with the writers, all in a room, to talk about our thoughts on everything, and I definitely think some improvements were made there.”

Hugh Jackman has anxiety on each film

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Jackman constantly has anxiety when making a movie.
The 49-year-old actor is a veteran of blockbusters starring as Marvel mutant Wolverine in the ‘X-Men’ franchise and his own standalone trilogy but he always approaches each job with nerves.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, Jackman said: “I have anxiety about a job. I worry and I think about them – hope tomorrow goes OK.”
Jackman is now starring as Phineas Taylor (PT) Barnum – the American showman remembered for promoting celebrated hoaxes and founder of the Barnum & Bailey Circus – in movie musical ‘The Greatest Showman’ directed Michael Gracey.
And the star admitted he always wanted to make an original movie musical.
He said: “My dream goal was always to do an original movie musical.
“‘Les Miserables’ was an incredible experience but the idea of creating something new … it’s what I love to do. When a musical is bad, it’s like a teenager’s sock – it’s terrible, stinks to high heaven. If you get it wrong, it’s very much a knife edge. Which is why they’re not done very often.”
When Jackman first started out as a professional actor in 1995 most of his roles were on the stage with roles in Australia in musicals ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘Sunset Boulevard’ and ‘Summa Cabaret’.
But although he was confident of his acting abilities he never “felt like a singer”.
He said: “I never felt like a singer. When I got a job, I had singing lessons paid for me, so it was clear I was no song ‘n’ dance man.”

Nick Cannon making female basketball movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Cannon is making a movie to “empower women”.
The 37-year-old star will direct, write, produce and appear in ‘She Ball’, a tale of women’s street basketball which will also feature Evan Ross, Chris Brown – who was convicted of assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 – Cedric the Entertainer and Rebecca De Mornay, as well as a host of real-life ball players from the WNBA, Ball Up, and the Basketball Beauties League, including Melody Rae Kandil, Jaliyah Manuel, and Tammy Brawner.
Nick, who will co-produce the film through his Ncredible Entertainment company, told Variety: “I’m very excited for this film. It’s something powerful for the culture, uplifting for the community, and the film’s main objective is to empower women! It’s going to be Ncredible!”
The former ‘America’s Got Talent’ host – who is also creating the soundtrack for the film along with Birdman – will play Avery Watts, who enlists the baddest women’s streetball league in town to help him save a community centre which he manages, as well as trying to raise his seven-year-old daughter.
Fellow producer Demetrius Spencer of One Media Worldwide has promised the movie will be something “special”.
He said: “Basketball has always been a huge part of my life since I was kid.
“I always wanted to do a movie about the sport that had a feel of the classic urban films I grew up watching. Seeing the love of the game through women’s basketball, the power and incredible strength they deliver on and off the court, makes the movie even more special.”
Ball Up, the entertainment studio behind the streetball league, will also produce the movie.
Production has already started on the project.

Jungle Book Origins renamed Mowgli

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Jungle Book: Origins’ has been retitled ‘Mowgli’.
The forthcoming film’s name has officially been changed to that of the fictional protagonist from Rudyard Kipling’s collection of stories.
Andy Serkis’ hotly-anticipated movie initially featured the name ‘Origins’ to make it different to ‘The Jungle Book’, a 2016 adaptation directed by Jon Favreau.
Warner Bros. have released a new synopsis of ‘Mowgli’, which will drop in October 2018.
It states: “Blending live action and performance capture, the story follows the upbringing of the human child Mowgli (Rohan Chand) raised by a wolf pack in the jungles of India.
“As he learns the often-harsh rules of the jungle, under the tutelage of a bear named Baloo (Andy Serkis) and a panther named Bagheera (Christian Bale), Mowgli becomes accepted by the animals of the jungle as one of their own.
“All but one: the fearsome tiger Shere Khan (Benedict Cumberbatch). But there may be greater dangers lurking in the jungle, as Mowgli comes face to face with his human origins.
“The other story’s central animal characters are: Kaa, the snake (Cate Blanchett); the leader of the wolf pack, Akela (Peter Mullan); the scavenging hyena, Tabaqui (Tom Hollander); Nisha, the female wolf (Naomie Harris), who adopts the baby Mowgli as one of her cubs; Nisha’s mate, Vihaan (Eddie Marsan); and Mowgli’s Brother Wolf (Jack Reynor). (sic)”
As well as lending his vocal talents to the character of Baloo in the film, Serkis will also direct and co-produce the project.
The upcoming motion picture is expected to have a slightly darker tone than Favreau’s 2016 film, which saw Neel Sethi play Mowgli, with Bill Murray voicing Baloo and Sir Ben Kingsley as Bagheera.

Adam Thomas to return to Emmerdalr

OHMYGOSSIP — Adam Thomas wants to return to ‘Emmerdale’.
The 29-year-old actor’s exit scenes haven’t even aired on television screens yet but it seems he’s already missing playing his character Adam Barton in soap as he has begged bosses to write him back in to the storyline.
Sparking rumours his alter ego is to be killed off in scenes to air over the festive season, the hunk said: “Dear @emmerdale I know it’s only been a few weeks but am ready to come bk now even if I am a ghost … it’s been done before (sic).”
Adam announced that he was leaving the soap earlier this year and, although it’s not known how his alter ego will bow out, it’s believed he’ll go to prison after his mother Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) let him go down for her murdering her arch-enemy Emma Barton (Gillian Kearney) – even though she confessed to killing her.
A source said recently:”This whodunnit has been going on for months but just as viewers think they’ve come to a conclusion, the rug will be pulled out from under them.
“Last night saw Moira confess, but now the police are confided they’ve got the right suspect in Adam.”
Adam – whose brother Ryan Thomas was formerly a star on rival soap ‘Coronation Street’ – joined the Dales in 2009, and has had several dramatic storylines since.
Most notably, his character was seen suffering a breakdown and committing arson after John Barton, the man he believed to be his father, died.
His character was also involved in a plot which had him mistakenly believe he had fathered Luca, the son of Vanessa Woodfield (played by Michelle Hardwick), after Rakesh Kotecha (Pasha Bocarie) – who is the father of Luca’s biological father Kirin (Adam Fielding) – doctored the DNA test results.
