Stephen Bear wants to marry Charlotte Crosby

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephen Bear wants to marry Charlotte Crosby.
In an emotional message posted on his Instagram account on Friday (22.12.17), Stephen admitted he is responsible for the demise of their 11-month relationship and he begged the ‘Geordie Shore’ star to spend the rest of her life with him.
Stephen wrote: “Dear Charlotte , I really messed up , if I can rewind the clock back maybe I wouldn’t of done the things I did and say. Life’s about making mistakes . I’ve just been really sad recently and I need to get it off my chest . I no being with me isn’t easy and I will probably send you insane in the end and I really do care and still love you . It might be too late but all I can do is try. The New Years coming up and I would love to spend the rest of my life with you.”
However, Stephen, 27, insisted that this is the only time he will reach out, telling Charlotte that he doesn’t open up very often.
He said: “I’ve done my best and put it out there . I don’t show my feeling often so it will be a very long time before you see me open up again . I would watsapp you but you’ve changed your number. would be nice to slide in my DM though if you see this xx (sic).”
Stephen’s emotional plea comes not long after he denied dating an 18-year-old shop assistant.
He tweeted: “Just to Clarify .. I’m not dating anyone , all this stuff I’m reading is b****x … don’t want my name associated with anyone’s for now as Charlotte was an amazing girlfriend.
“People brake up but there’s a whole load of stuff behind the scenes what the public doesn’t see (sic).”

Melanie Sykes hates Christmas

OHMYGOSSIP — Melanie Sykes wishes she could “miss” Christmas entirely.
The 47-year-old presenter – who has children Roman, 15, and Valentino, 13, with ex-husband Daniel Caltagirone – hates the “pressure” to have fun during the festive season and would rather use the break to jet off on holiday than enjoy a traditional celebration.
She said: “I hate to say it but I’m not massive on Christmas.
“I hate forced holidays and the pressure that everything has to be beautiful.
“It’s nice – but having dinner with your family any day is.
“I make it nice for the kids but they’re older now, so it’s different.
“My idea of heaven at Christmas is to be in the Caribbean and miss the whole thing.”
Melanie previously came third on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ and though she’s interested in being on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, she doesn’t think she’d do very well.
Asked if she’d do another reality show, she said: “The only other one is ‘Strictly’ but I really can’t dance, so probably not, no.”
While the brunette beauty had a great time in the jungle, she insists it didn’t change her permanently.
She said: “It was one of the best times and it was so much fun. In those first couple of weeks I’ve never laughed as much.
“We take a lot for granted but it lasts about a month. You come back and go, wow an orange! And then you get over it. I enjoyed having no phones.”

Paul Bettany wraps filming on Avengers: Infinity War

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Bettany has wrapped up filming ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.
The 46-year-old actor stars as Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is set to reprise his role in the highly anticipated third instalment in the ‘Avengers’ franchise.
Alongside a behind-the-scenes video from the film set, Bettany wrote on Instagram: “That’s a Wrap on me – The Vision. I’ll be seeing you all in May. X (sic)”
As well as starring in the new ‘Avengers’ movie, Bettany was also recently added to the cast of the much-anticipated ‘Star Wars’ spin-off movie ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’.
The film, which is set for release in 2018, centres on a young Han Solo, who is one of the central characters in the money-spinning sci-fi franchise.
Teasing the new movie, Bettany recently described the project as a “gangster” film, while he also hailed director Ron Howard, saying he’s “so f**king brilliant”.
Bettany explained: “It’s Han Solo’s story, and of course his story would be a caper. On one level it’s a gangster movie.
“That’s really interesting, because it’s within the canon but really different. It’s f***ing Han Solo!
“His [Howard] staging ability is so f***ing brilliant. I think he went in and he was like a laser, working out what needed to be done when he looked at the footage.
“And then, as things moved on, everybody felt so secure with him. And they gave him more. He reshot a lot more than was originally intended.”

Zac Efron says Hugh Jackman cannot calm down

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Jackman is “very hard to calm down”, according to Zac Efron.
The 30-year-old Hollywood hunk – who appears alongside the ‘X-Men’ star in the new movie musical ‘The Greatest Showman’ – says his co-star is as “perfect as it gets”.
Speaking to news.com.au, Efron said: “When he sings, if he wants to hold a note, if it’s like ‘Today…’ he’ll naturally sing, ‘TODAAAAAAAAAAAY’.
“He has this natural vibrato that’s very hard to calm down. He admits it’s hard to calm down from years of being on Broadway.
“Other than that, he’s as perfect as it gets.”
The new movie – which is helmed by Michael Gracey – follows the true story of P.T. Barnum, an American showman, politician, and businessman remembered for promoting celebrated hoaxes and for founding the Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Efron and Jackman appear alongside ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ star Zendaya in the movie.
And the 21-year-old actress has hailed Jackman’s positive approach to life.
She said: “He’s very terrible at being a negative person, he just can’t do it.
“I don’t think there’s a negative bone in his body.”
Meanwhile, Jackman – who stars as the ring master in the film – recently revealed he went against doctor’s orders to sing at his audition, just a day after he underwent a skin cancer operation on his nose.
He said: “I thought there’s about a one in 10 chance this movie happens. But we’re going for it. My doctor had said, ‘Do not sing, you’ve just had 80 stitches in your nose. They really could split apart, you could get an infection’, which I’d had before in a similar operation.
“So I was like, ‘Don’t worry I’m not going to risk that, I’m just going to speak it and someone else will sing it.’ But the emotion of the song and the moment took over me.”

Margot Robbie loves an ‘underdog story’

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie was eager to star in ‘I, Tonya’ because she loves an “underdog story”.
The 27-year-old actress plays the role of former American figure skater Tonya Harding in the Craig Gillespie-directed movie, and Margot has revealed why she was so keen to star in the film.
She explained: “I love gangster films ’cause I love the underdog story. I love watching someone rise up, despite their circumstances. It’s always something I feel like I can get behind. And she felt like an underdog, to me.”
The movie tells the story of Tonya and Jeff Gillooly, who hired a man to break the leg of Nancy Kerrigan – Tonya’s competitor – at the National Figure Skating Championship in 1994.
The incident ended Tonya’s career, but Margot says she admires her character’s “rebelliousnes”.
The Australian star told Collider: “She had this scrappiness and rebelliousness that is obviously fun, but she was also, in my eyes, really misunderstood. I could see this bravado and this defiance was really just covering a lot of hurt and a lack of love.
“There were so many elements to her that I needed to explore. And then, of course, once I started looking at the online footage, I couldn’t believe what she’d gone through and how harshly she was punished.”
Margot expressed some sympathy with Tonya, who pleaded guilty to hindering the prosecution following the attack on her rival.
Margot said: “She was chasing the American dream and was just about to get it, and the whole thing came tumbling down.
“Skating was her one safe place in the world, and that was taken away from her. I don’t care if you think she did it or not, I don’t think she deserved that punishment.”

Rian Johnson responds to Star Wars: The Last Jedi backlash

OHMYGOSSIP — Rian Johnson has hit back at criticism of ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’.
The 44-year-old filmmaker’s effort has divided opinions among fans, but Johnson has insisted it’s important to move the franchise “forward”.
Asked on Twitter whether it’s good that the movie is so “polarising”, he wrote on the micro-blogging website: “The goal is never to divide or make people upset, but I do think the conversations that are happening were going to have to happen at some point if sw is going to grow, move forward and stay vital. (sic)”
‘The Last Jedi’ sees the return of ‘Star Wars’ legends Mark Hamill as Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and the late Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa.
The new movie marks Fisher’s last outing as the iconic character from the original trilogy after she passed away last December.
Although the actress had shot all the scenes for ‘The Last Jedi’ before her death, Johnson was unsure about whether to change the movie’s plot following her passing, because she would no longer be able to be part of ‘Episode IX’.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Johnson said: “That was the very first conversation I had with Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy after we came back, after New Year’s. I kind of looked through the footage. That was the very first question.
“I felt really strongly that what we have here is so beautiful and the way that the character develops, the way it’s paid off, and not only that, the horror of trying to manufacture something that – I don’t even know what it would have been, but something for the end of this movie that leaves it in a place where the transition is easier, the idea of, ‘Oh God, how would you fake something like that and how would it not be terrible?
“Given that we have a beautiful, complete performance from her that I think audiences deserve to see, and I think it will mean a lot for them, that ray of hope from Leia.”

Kelly Marie Tran was honoured to be Star Wars: The Last Jedi

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Marie Tran said it was an “honour” and “responsibility” to represent Asian people in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’.
The 28-year-old actress stars as Rose Tico in the eighth instalment of the sci-fi franchise, with the film being hailed as one of the most diverse ‘Star Wars’ movies of all time.
Tran was born in San Diego but her parents immigrated to the US from Vietnam and she admits she gets “very emotional” when she thinks about young Asian girls identifying with Rose when they see her in the movie because there was a shortage of identifiable role models for her when she was growing up.
Speaking to Variety, she said: “A lot of ‘Star Wars’ fans who are specifically Asian never had a character they could dress up like, or they would and people would always call them ‘Asian Rey’ or ‘Asian fill-in-the-blank.’
“I get very emotional when I see people who are able to identify with this character. That means a lot to me and I don’t think it will ever get old.
“It’s been both an honour and a responsibility. I feel so overwhelmed. I remember what it felt like to not see anyone like myself in books or on film or on TV. When you’re really young, you tend to fall in love with characters. If you start seeing the same type of character everywhere and realise that they don’t look like you, or they don’t speak like you, you start wanting to change who you are. That’s something that I did when I was a young kid. I’m excited to be a part of this positive change.”
‘The Last Jedi’ features a number of ethnicities being represented and Tran said it’s a “big deal” because it’s “so rare” but wishes the film industry will change.
She said: “It feels like a big deal because it’s so rare. I wish it wasn’t. I wish that you and I could be having a different conversation.
“I wish that all different types of people of all races and all upbringings were all equally represented in this industry that influences so many people. But the fact is that’s just not true, so it is important to talk about it. I’m always thinking about that little girl that never saw herself in things.”

Mark Hamill had ‘fundamental differences’ with Rian Johnson

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Hamill has claimed he had “fundamental differences” with Rian Johnson whilst filming ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’.
The 66-year-old actor has been starring as Luke Skywalker for 40 years, and has revealed he was unhappy with the direction the director took his character in during the recently released eighth instalment of the sci-fi franchise as Luke seemingly “gives up”, something which Mark doesn’t believe a Jedi would ever do.
Speaking about his role in the new movie, Mark said: “I said to Rian, ‘Jedis don’t give up.’ I mean, even if he had a problem, he would maybe take a year to try and regroup. But if he made a mistake, he would try and right that wrong. So, right there we had a fundamental difference, but it’s not my story anymore. It’s somebody else’s story – and Rian needed me to be a certain way to make the ending effective. That’s the crux of my problem. Luke would never say that. I’m sorry.”
Mark went on to state that 73-year-old franchise creator George Lucas – who sold the franchise to Disney along with production company Lucasfilm in 2012 – would have handled Luke’s story in a different way, and said he no longer feels like the role is “his Luke Skywalker” any more.
He added: “Well, in this version, see I’m talking about the George Lucas Star Wars. This is the next generation of Star Wars, so I almost had to think of Luke as another character. Maybe he’s Jake Skywalker. He’s not my Luke Skywalker, but I had to do what Rian wanted me to do because it serves the story well.”
The star “still hasn’t accepted” the changes Rian, 44, made to Luke’s character, but insists he still believes the director was the “exact man” the franchise needed to helm the project.
In an interview uploaded to YouTube by user Jar Jar Abrams, Mark said: “But listen, I still haven’t accepted it completely. But it’s only a movie. I hope people like it. I hope they don’t get upset, and I came to really believe that Rian was the exact man that they need for this job.”

Quentin Tarantino’s Star Trek adds a writer

OHMYGOSSIP — Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Star Trek’ movie has hired Mark L. Smith to write the script.
Paramount is said to have signed Smith up to the role after he took part in a writer’s room with the Hollywood director, who recently shared his idea for the next Starship Enterprise story with J.J. Abrams.
According to Deadline, Paramount and Abrams have become huge fans of Smith after he penned World War II thriller ‘Overlord’.
Smith was said to be in consideration for the screenwriting duty after Tarantino recently spent several hours discussing plot ideas with him, ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ writer Lindsey Beer, and ‘Iron Man 3’ scribe Drew Pearce.
Tarantino is keen to direct the project and was recently said to have insisted on an R rating, which Paramount and Abrams have agreed on.
His movies have mostly been R rated – which means at least a 15 certificate in the UK – due to their use of extreme profanity and violence.
Smith is due to work on the script while Tarantino focuses on his next motion picture, a film about Charles Manson, which he had begun work on before the cult leader died in November this year.
Margot Robbie and Jennifer Lawrence are among the actresses he is said to have approached to play Sharon Tate, the pregnant wife of director Roman Polanski who was stabbed to death by members of the Manson Family commune in August 1969.
Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt are all said to have been in discussions for two male lead roles.

Brooke Vincent apologises to Dancing on Ice partner

OHMYGOSSIP — Brooke Vincent has apologised to her ‘Dancing on Ice’ partner for not listening to his instructions, not bending her knees and for snapping at him during training.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress took to her Instagram account this morning (22.12.17) to thank professional skater Matej Silecky – whom she’s been paired with for the forthcoming competition – for being patient with her and moving away from his family in the United States in order to practice with her for the show.
She wrote: “@mbs_seaturtlepig thank you for being patient with me I promise I’ll try and listen fully before I go off and try and do what you’re asking of me wrongly, because I didn’t listen sorry for being a snapper at times sorry for making you go over the same thing 20 times because I need it to be perfect. I will try and bend my knees more thank you for laughing at my jokes thank you for getting up at 5am most mornings with me to train thank you for moving 3375miles away from your family&friends to be my coach…. But most of all thank you for giving me 110% everyday for the past 2 months.. (sic)”
She concluded the sweet post by wishing him a merry Christmas and instructing him to rest up at home before coming back to tackle the skating competition with her.
She said: “Now…. have fun back home, rest up.. fly back and let’s go get it!!! (sic).”
The competitors now have a two-week break before they will take to the rink again but bosses have warned them not to over indulge over the festive season.
A show insider said recently: “Everyone wants to make sure the huge return of ‘Dancing On Ice’ is super- slick, so they’re keen to ensure all the celebrities are fighting fit. They’ve had a word with all of them and told them to lay off the festive fun and all that comes with it so they’re fit for the launch. It’s mainly to make sure their professional dancers won’t feel the difference and have trouble lifting them when the new year comes around. It will also make sure injuries or drop-outs are avoided.”

Ed Balls had half a fake tan while on Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Balls only had the top half of his body fake-tanned while on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 50-year-old former politician was shocked when he found out that people actually liked altering the colour of their skin for the ballroom and latin competition and, although he slowly came round to the idea, he would only let the beauticians spray his upper body when he was competing on the ballroom and latin series last year.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Friday (22.12.17), Ed said: “I was surprised to know that people actually had them. They actually spray on the bottle. I had the top half but not the bottom half because there was no point.”
Although he had the tan done, Ed kept asking producers of the show to give him a “plunging neckline” in his dancing costumes – despite originally asking to wear only “dark suits” – but his sexy request kept being decline.
He said: “I kept saying can I wear a plunging neckline and they said no.
“In myself I knew I had a spray tan.”
Ed was partnered with Katya Jones and managed to stay in the competition until week 10 before getting the boot.
Although original tempted to say no to being on the show, Ed has admitted his wife Yvette Cooper – a current Labour Party MP – forced him to do it in order to lose weight.
Ed said: “I said to Yvette that I had been offered a place on ‘Strictly’ and I’m going to say no, and she said why would you say no?
“She said it’s the best show on television, you’ve got to lose weight and you could get fit and politics is so wild and go and see what happens.”

John Yorke praises EastEnders

OHMYGOSSIP — John Yorke is convinced ‘EastEnders’ is the “best soap on television.”
The show’s 55-year-old producer – who rejoined the programme earlier this year-
can’t wait for viewers to watch the festive episodes because he’s convinced fans won’t be expecting the “shocks and surprises” that are coming their way.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, John said: “To guide us through the episode is Mick and Linda were about to renew their wedding vows, I came up with this line ‘Someone old, someone new, someone’s dead, someone’s blue’. We really want this Christmas to be full of shocks and surprises and we have some shocking twists coming up. I believe ‘EastEnders’ is the best soap on television.”
A shock death will leave viewers gripped to their seats and they’ll always see Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) and Max Branning (Jake Wood) rekindle their affair – 12 years after their first fling was exposed.
And, although the festive season will be plagued with misery, the New Year will see the return of some familiar faces as Jessie Wallace is reprising her role as Kat Moon.
A source said recently: “John loves the Slaters. A lot of people thought he might bring some of them back. He believes they’re long-standing favourites who should be at the heart of the show and thinks Kat’s return will be a hit. Nobody knew if she or Alfie would return so it looked like they had been killed. This will surprise fans.”
Jessie – who played Kat from 2000-05 and 2010-16 – recently admitted she was keen to make a return to Albert Square because she missed her alter ego.
She said: “I miss Kat. I miss the scripts with the great one-liners. I do miss my friends there.”

Jess Shears has boob job

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Shears has had another boob job.
The ‘Love Island’ star has bought sexy lingerie sets to spoil her fiance Dom Lever while they’re away celebrating the festive season in Devon with her family because she feels more body confident now that she’s had more surgery on her bosoms.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, she said: “I have had my boobs redone recently so I am going to pack lots of nice lingerie to spoil Dom with because I don’t think I’ve ever dressed up that sexy for him before. But now that I feel so confident I can’t wait. My family are so over the top with Christmas, it’s ridiculous they go all out and I want Dom to see that. It’s the age-old problem for couples when you first get together, whose family do you go to and ours live five hours apart.
“We can’t just dash from one to the other, so we’re going to spend it with my family in Devon as we live quite close to Dom’s family up North the rest of the time, and then go away for New Year instead.”
The couple – who met in the villa over the summer currently live together and are planning to get married abroad next year but want to lose weight beforehand.
The 23-year-old beauty told The Sun Online: “Dom and I have just gone pescatarian so the weight has fallen off, because you just eat fish. We’re not even doing dairy at the moment as I don’t even like dairy anyway, so we’ve both lost a bit just from that.
“But we go to the gym all the time together, and that’s it.”

Sam Faiers and Ferne McCann have fallen out

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Faiers and Ferne McCann have reportedly fallen out.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ stars have been the best of friends for years, but it seems there’s some tension between them at the moment because Ferne launched her rival pregnancy show ‘First Time Mum’, which aired two weeks ago, on the same channel as Sam’s on-going series ‘The Mummy Diaries’.
A source told The Sun Online: “Their fallout first started when Ferne told Sam that she had landed her own pregnancy reality show. Sam felt like Ferne was trying to emulate her success by launching a rival programme – and it made things awkward between them. Ferne was never going to turn down the show as it was an opportunity for her to make money for [her daughter] Sunday but without Sam’s support the breakdown of their friendship was inevitable.”
The pair sparked rumours that they’d fallen out when Sam – who welcomed her second child into the world in November – decided to announce the name of her daughter Rosie just an hour before Ferne’s show debuted on ITVBe.
She was also not present at the at-home screening the 27-year-old part-time ‘This Morning’ presenter organised – but her sister Billie Faiers was there to support her.
Although the 26-year-old beauty is fuming with Ferne, ITV have already decided to commission a third series of ‘The Mummy Diaries’, but this time the show will follow both Sam and Billie’s lives with their children Paul, Arthur and Nelly.
A source said recently: “Sam will be joined by her sister Billie in the new series of the ‘Mummy Diaries’. There will be a Kardashians flavour to it this time – two sisters bringing up their broods and all the challenges and adventures they get up to together as a family. Billie has a great sense of humour and fans of ‘The Mummy Diaries’ saw her baby boy Arthur moments after being born and hilarious scenes of her trying to sleep train her daughter Nelly. Sam and Billie are extremely close and their onscreen chemistry is fantastic, the girls were only too happy to star together and make it more about the Faiers family as a whole.”

Richard Arnold to take break from Good Morning Britain

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Arnold is “taking a break” from ‘Good Morning Britain’.
The 48-year-old presenter – who is the Entertainment Editor for the ITV’s breakfast show – revealed on air this morning (22.12.17) that he won’t be returning to the programme after the festive break as he’s decided to “retire from the public life.”
He said: “I’m retiring from public life. I’m disappearing for a while – who knows when I’ll be back. You know what it’s like in this business.”
‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ star Iain Lee – who came third in the competition – will be filling in for him “momentarily” but he doesn’t know how long.
He said on his replacement: “Momentarily, I’m told, but who knows?”
A clip was then shown of Iain relaxing in Richard’s dressing room while drawing beards on pictures of him to “save money” replacing them with photos of himself.
He said: “Hello Richard, Iain Lee here. I’m only filling in for you for a couple of weeks so please don’t panic.
“I haven’t got time to get my own publicity pictures so I’m just colouring in the beards here. Saves me a bit of money. Have a great break by the way!”
But Richard didn’t seem impressed and is convinced he’ll never get his job back.
He quipped: “There he is in my dressing room. Oh wow. Already settling himself in on my pleather with my fan art – the only piece of fan art I own. He’s ‘temporarily filling in’ – we know what that means in this business. That’s showbiz!”
Meanwhile, Richard isn’t the only showbiz reporter taking an extended break over the New Year as This Morning’s Rylan Clark-Neal has also decided to step away.
Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield last week, he said: “I’ve not really said anything but after Christmas, next Friday, I’m going to be going away for a little bit. It’s definitely not goodbye but I’m going to be taking a little bit of a break new year. But I just want to say thank you because it’s been lovely and I will be back.”

Boris Johnson’s sister to do Celebrity Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Boris Johnson’s sister is reportedly being eyed up for ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The Foreign Secretary has just watched his father Stanley Johnson win over the hearts of the nation on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ and now his sibling Rachel is keen to throw herself into the limelight by joining the forthcoming series of the reality TV show when it hits television screens at the beginning of January.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Bosses want this year’s show to be quite different. There are lots of intelligent, cultured people going in, all with strong opinions. People have been chosen because they might clash — but hopefully there’ll be heated debate and discussion rather than just screaming and storming out. Rachel is a great signing and fits the bill.”
Not much is known about the new series of ‘CBB’ but it’ll hit screens on January 2, 2018, and will see an all-female cast head into the iconic house in commemoration of 100 years since women won the right to vote before men join a few days later.
A statement from Channel 5 said: “Presented by Emma Willis, ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ will initially explore how the all-female housemates interact, from politicians to performing artists, as they enter the house first, ahead of the celebrity male housemates. Over the course of the series, as the male counterparts enter the house, the housemates will take part in a series of entertaining tasks and hidden experiments which will test their – and our – assumptions, challenge gender stereotypes and reveal fascinating truths about what it is to be a woman – and man – in the 21st century.”
The line-up is yet to be confirmed but it’s thought Gogglebox’s Sandra Martin has been approached, as has Britain’s first transgender newsreader India Willoughby.
