Tom Holland’s struggles with suit

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Holland had to drink through the eye-hole of his Spider-Man suit.
The 23-year-old actor admitted it can be a struggle to carry out simple tasks in the tight-fitting costume he dons as his web-slinging alter ego in ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ so he’s come up with some creative solutions.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “It’s an interesting contraption to say the least.
“Basically, my eyes in my mask, they clip off, they come off, because they’re glass, and obviously the suit is fabric, and they need to clip in.
“And what I can do is I can take my left one out, and there’s a little, like, thing that I pull out, and then I put a tube, a squeezy tube, down into my mouth, and then I can drink from a bottle.”
And Tom is now so used to the restrictive garment, he’s even figured out a way to sneak snacks during breaks in filming.
He added: “But what I found out now is if I push the mask forward, I can now squeeze like gum and stuff, down the eye hole.
“I’ve had a KitKat in the suit now.”
However, the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ actor recently admitted one of the downsides about his suit is that it leaves him unable to use his phone.
Arguing he has the most difficult costume to wear out of all the Marvel superheroes, he said: “Because I have no skin showing. I’m straight up head-to-toe in lycra. I can’t even use my phone.
“And I’m 23, like, I use my phone a lot!
“I’ve become so good at liking pictures with my nose.”

Coronation Street’s Emma Brooker to find out dad has died?

OHMYGOSSIP — Coronation Street’s Fiona Middleton will return to the cobbles to tell daughter Emma Brooker her dad has died.
Angela Griffin is expected to reprise her role as the hairdresser – who last appeared in Weatherfield in 1998 – and she looks set to return with bombshell news for fellow hairdresser Emma (Alexandra Mardell), who will be left “completely devastated” about her father.
A TV source told The Sun Online: “Emma hasn’t mentioned her family much since arriving on the cobbles but she does love them.
“She’s going to be completely devastated by the sudden death of her dad. She was the apple of his eye and she worshipped him.
“It’s going to be really tough for her. Especially when her mum Fiona visits to tell her the heart-breaking news.”
While Emma is to be told her dad has died, Fiona’s ex Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) looks set to find out some bombshell news of his own – that he is her real father.
A source recently said: “Angela’s return is short and sweet but it has huge implications for Steve.
“She’s back on screens and will find out that the dates that he was with Fiona tally up to when Emma was born.”
Steve’s mum Liz McDonald (Beverley Callard) is expected to work out that Emma, born in 1999, was conceived in 1998 when her son was dating Fiona.
Ever since Alexandra joined the show in April 2018 fans have speculated she could be Fiona’s daughter, because the pair are both hairdressers and have similarities.
However, Alexandra has previously insisted the potential plot is “definitely not true”.

Natalie Ann Jamieson would love Emmerdale and Corrie crossover

OHMYGOSSIP — Natalie Ann Jamieson wants an ‘Emmerdale’ and ‘Coronation Street’ crossover episode.
The soap star – who replaced Chelsea Halfpenny as Amy Wyatt when she joined the cast earlier this year – would love to see the two ITV shows come together for a one-off special on the cobbles to raise money for a good cause.
Asked where in the world she would like to film an ‘Emmerdale’ episode, she told Inside Soap magazine: “We were talking about this the other day.
“We were saying we’d love to do something for charity where we go on a trip and the bus breaks down, and we find ourselves in the Rovers Return. That would be fun.”
Natalie would also love to head to Marbella with Natalie J. Robb (Moira Barton) for a special.
She said: “I was working with Natalie J. Robb and we were saying it would be great to do ‘Moira in Marbs’.
“Maybe she has run away with the kids to Spain, and Amy has to chase her down.”
Natalie has had an amazing time on ‘Emmerdale’ so far, and admitted she and her family have always been big fans of the show.
She added: “I have lots of ‘Emmerdale’ fans in the family as well. It was so exciting so tell them that I was going into the show, because they have years and years’ worth of ‘Emmerdale’ knowledge.
“I used to watch it with my grandma, she loves it. Eric Pollard was my favourite character, so I love working with Chris [Chittell, who plays him]!”
Although a ‘Corrie’-‘Emmerdale’ mash up would be something different for soap fans, it wouldn’t be the first time ITV has aired a crossover between two of its shows.
In 2004, ‘Bad Girls’ and ‘Footballers’ Wives’ joined forces for three episodes.
‘Footballers’ Wives’ character Tanya Turner, played by Zoe Lucker, was sent to prison and wound up in Bad Girls’ Larkhall jail.

Love Island’s Yewande Biala falls out with Arabella Chi over Danny Williams

OHMYGOSSIP — Yewande Biala has fallen out with ‘Love Island’ newcomer Arabella Chi over Danny Williams.
The 23-year-old scientist is “livid” with her 28-year-old co-star – who entered the villa on Thursday’s (20.06.19) episode – after Arabella questioned her romance with Danny, 21, and insisted she may have a more of a “connection” with than Yewande does.
Spotting Danny chatting with her rival in scenes airing tonight, Yewande says to pals Michael Griffiths and Amber Gill: “I’m going to go down there and be affectionate.”
Yewande heads over to the bean bags and takes a seat on Danny’s lap, insisting: “I’m going to sit on you because I want to.”
Later in the evening, Arabella takes Yewande for a chat where she asks about the pair’s relationship.
Yewande says: “I think at the moment we’re just really strong and we’re going forward. Everything is looking good.”
Arabella replies: “Today, both of us [Arabella & Danny] were saying that we can’t deny a connection. So, from my point of view I think he is telling you one thing and me one thing. He feels that he still wants to get to know me.
“Earlier I was chatting with him on the bean bags and you just came and sat on him. I just feel like it’s a bit territorial.”
Yewande get defensive, insisting: “I feel like if I am coupled up with someone and I want to sit on them then I can.”
When her rival suggests she’s gone “from nought to 150”, she adds: “I don’t think sitting on someone’s leg is me going from zero to 150.”
After her chat with Arabella, she heads over to the kitchen with Molly-Mae Hague and Amber Gill, and rants how the conversation went.
Yewande says: “I am livid. She said I was being territorial over him.”

Love Island’s Curtis kisses newcomer Arabella Chi

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Hart is left unimpressed when Curtis Pritchard gives ‘Love Island’ newcomer Arabella Chi a higher score than her during a kissing competition.
In tonight’s (21.06.19), the Islanders take part in a competition in which the boys line up blindfolded while each girl takes their turn to kiss them, after the smooch, the boy must rate the kiss out of ten and the girl with the highest overall score will be declared the winner.
The 27-year-old flight attendant isn’t happy when Curtis – who recently asked her to be his “half-girlfriend” – gives Arabella’s kiss a ten out of ten and insists they had a “good connection” while she only scores a seven.
As Amy takes to the stage, Curtis rates her kiss a seven out of ten but after Arabella soon follows, he gives her full marks.
Reflecting on the incident in the Beach Hut, Amy fumes: “Curtis gave supermodel Arabella a ten because it was a great connection. And he gave me a seven so that’s not cool.”
Later on in the evening Curtis is keen to squash the issue immediately however Amy is annoyed that he didn’t know it was her when she kissed him.
She says: “I scratched your neck like I always do, so you knew it was me. And then you gave me a seven and rated everyone else really high.”
Curtis insists: “I didn’t know that it was you.”
It wasn’t just Curtis that Arabella makes a lasting impression on after she “went for it” with Danny Williams – who is paired up with Yewande Biala.
In the Beach Hut, Yewande says: “I think Arabella went for it with Danny. This is her perfect opportunity to get to kiss him and I’m pretty sure it’ll be her last.”

Anna Vakili named best kisser on Love Island 2019

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Vakili has been named the best kisser out of the ‘Love Island’ females.
The islanders took part in a kissing competition on Friday’s (21.06.19) episode of the ITV2 reality show which saw the boys line up blindfolded while each girl takes their turn to kiss them, and after the boys marked each kiss out of 10, it was 28-year-old pharmacist Anna that came out on top with the most points.
Second place went to 21-year-old surfer Lucie Donlan – who is currently single after her partner Joe Garratt was dumped from the villa during a public vote off earlier this week – and newcomer Arabella Chi, also 28, rounded off the top three.
Both Anna and Arabella are also currently single, so the revelations about their kissing skills may just give the hunks something to think about when recoupling comes around.
Currently Anna has her eyes on male newcomer Jordan Hames, but is yet to officially couple up with him, and Arabella has been on dates with Danny Williams – who is coupled with Yewande Biala – and singleton Anton Danyluk since entering the villa on Thursday (20.06.19).
Elsewhere in the show, Arabella was seen chatting to Yewande about their shared interest in Danny, as she told the 23-year-old scientist she was keen on getting to know the hunk.
She told Yewande: “I would like to know Danny better and I do feel like we have a connection so I do wanna carry on getting to know him.”
And Yewande seemed defensive when she answered: “I never said you couldn’t. That it? Cool, perfect.”
Watching from a distance, Anton could sense the tension between the two girls as he said: “Oh that looked awkward.”
‘Love Island’ continues on Sunday (23.06.19) at 9pm on ITV2.

Zara and Mike Tindall to appear on Top Gear

OHMYGOSSIP — Royal couple Zara and Mike Tindall will appear on ‘Top Gear’.
The Queen’s granddaughter and her retired rugby player husband – who have daughters Mia, five, and 12-month-old Lena – will appear on the brand new series of the motoring show on June 30, in the segment titled ‘Star In A Reasonably Fast Car’.
Bosses are hoping Her Majesty will “tune in”.
A source at the BBC told the Daily Star newspaper: “It’s a major coup for us to get Zara and Mike.
“Now [hosts] Paddy [McGuinness] and Freddie [Flintoff] are on board they clearly have the pulling power to get A-list guests.
“Perhaps the Queen will tune in.”
And the broadcaster seemed to have been impressed by Paddy and Freddie’s work, as it was recently revealed the pair have signed up to co-host their second series of ‘Top Gear’ with fellow presenter Chris Harris.
A show source said: “The minute the trio started filming bosses saw the spark between them.
“They’re really pleased with how it’s started and with all the footage they’ve already got in the can for series one.”
While only one episode of the trio’s ‘Top Gear’ stint has aired on the BBC so far, the presenting triple threat are already preparing for “bigger challenges” in their second series.
The source added: “They have been warmly received by viewers, too. Ratings are up on last year, which is a good sign.
“Now Freddie and Paddy have got their feet under the table, the ante will be upped for series two.
“They’re going to go for bolder locations and bigger challenges. This should bring great scenes and laughs for the audience.”
The 27th ‘Top Gear’ season got underway last Sunday (16.06.19) and beforehand, Paddy admitted the new-look team already felt like they had been together for “a few series”.
He said: “With us, I was so pleased that we all clicked straight away.
“It [feels] like we kind of already did a few series, which I was really pleased about, because that was a worry you know, do you get on do you not? But we all do.”

‘Flirt’ Gino D’Acampo admits it’s not ‘easy’ being married to him

OHMYGOSSIP — Gino D’Acampo has admitted it’s not “easy” to be married to him because he’s a big “flirt”.
The 42-year-old TV chef loves to cheekily chat up both men and women but his wife Jessica Morrison doesn’t have a problem with it as he’s always been that way.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: “I don’t think it’s an easy thing to be married to someone like me!
“Men, women, I flirt.
“I do whatever I want, I kiss everybody.
“My wife is always like: ‘That is nice that you kissed that woman and carried her away because that is who you are!’
“I’m exactly the same today as I was 25 years ago when we met.”
The ‘Gino’s Win Your Wish List’ host also revealed that he’s had men send him their wives’ bras and panties in the post to sign for them.
He said: “A man will send me his wife’s pair of knickers and say ‘sign it for me’ and I don’t mind that.
“I sign them if they are clean!
“I think I have signed more bras than knickers.”
Gino – who tied the knot with Jessica, with whom he has 14-year-old Rocco and Luciano, 17, in 2002 – says the key to their successful marriage is allowing each other to have the space to enjoy the company of their friends.
He explained: “We allow each other to have our own lives, that means going on holiday with our friends.
“My wife goes for dinner with male friends and I go for dinner with female friends or business friends.
“We are very relaxed.”
The dark-haired hunk previously revealed what he does to treat Jessica, and admitted he usually goes for more practical things, rather than “being romantic”.
He said: “I don’t do the usual romantic things. I don’t do flowers. I things that maybe people don’t associate with being romantic.
“I charge Jessica’s toothbrush. She never charges it so I always make sure it’s done. I clean her car every week and I make sure it’s full of petrol.”

Suki Waterhouse: It doesn’t matter if I make a s*** movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Suki Waterhouse doesn’t think it “matters” if she makes a movie that’s a “piece of s**t”.
The model-turned-actress – who has appeared in blockbusters such as ‘Detective Pikachu’ and ‘Insurgent’, as well as less commercial fare including ‘The Bad Batch’ and ‘Assassination Nation’ – thinks it is a “miracle” if a film turns out to be good so she only worries about having a good experience while she’s working.
She said: “My burning desire is just to make good art.
“Making a good movie is a mircale, it really is. It’s such a mad soup.
“It’s really about who you want to spend your time with. Time is the most valuable thing.
“Even if the movie turns out to be a piece of s**t, which a lot of them do, it doesn’t matter.”
While some stars find it hard being away for long periods of time shooting movies, the 27-year-old beauty – who is dating Robert Pattinson – relishes the “escape” of feeling disconnected from reality.
She told Grazia magazine: “When I did ‘The Bad Batch’ I loved being intensely physical – feeling completely battered by the end of the day, having your leg in a brace, in the middle of the desert.
“It’s such an intense environment that there’s no sense of reality around you.
“I like the escape of that and I like being away for long periods. It’s a really good job for someone who doesn’t need stability whatsoever.”
Suki is also keen to create her own working opportunities, as well as featuring in other people’s projects.
She said: “I’ve got an idea for a show that I’m working on and I’d like to star in it.
“Making something for yourself, that you know is in your wheelhouse, is ideal.”

Pasha Kovalev has phone stolen by moped thieves

OHMYGOSSIP — Former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional Pasha Kovalev was left terrified after being mobbed by moped thieves.
The 39-year-old dancer was leaving Sadler’s Wells Theatre in North London on Thursday (20.06.19) – where he had been to see his former colleagues Katya and Neil Jones perform in ‘Somnium: A Dancer’s Dream’ – when his phone was whipped from him, leaving him “shaking and very upset”.
A source said: “Two people drove at him aggressively. They mounted the pavement and his phone was gone in a flash. He was shaking and very upset.”
According to The Sun newspaper, Pasha was devastated as his smartphone contains pictures of his partner Rachel Riley – who is expecting their first child.
They continued: “The phone had lots of images on it. Pasha is doing everything he can to get to the bottom of this.
“One second he was outside on the phone, the next moment the moped pair drove at him aggressively and totally disorientated him.
“They mounted the pavement and in a flash his phone was out of his hand.
“He was knocked off balance and very upset.
“As soon as it dawned on him what had happened he told people around him ‘The mobile is unlocked’.”
Pasha is reported to have got back inside the theatre to watch back CCTV to see if they caught the thieves on camera.
London’s Metropolitan Police were called to the scene of the crime at 10.10pm, but no arrests have been made as of yet.
A spokesperson for the force confirmed: “It is alleged that two men on mopeds stole a phone from a man as he walked down the road. No arrests have been made, enquiries continue.”
Pasha quit the BBC One Latin and ballroom show after “eight fantastic years” earlier this year.
He said: “After scoring 93 perfect tens, reaching four finals and lifting one Glitterball, it’s time for me to find a new challenge and so I’ve decided to make last year – my final season on Strictly.
“I’ve had eight fantastic years, full of wonderful memories, thanks to the incredible partners, professionals and myriad of behind the scenes teams who all work to make Strictly the amazing production that it is.”

Aquaman spin-off The Trench still in scripting stage

OHMYGOSSIP — James Wan says his team are “deep” into “crafting the script” of ‘Aquaman’ spin-off ‘The Trench’ .
The movie is based on the deadly creatures who attacked Jason Momoa’s titular alter ego and his love Mera in the 2018 DC Comics superhero film and will “lean” heavier on the horror side.
Giving fans an update, Wan told ComicBook.com: “We, you know, we’re still deep in sort of crafting the script, crafting the story right now so I don’t want to get into that too much.
“But definitely it’s one that I really want to lean into the horror of it, so it’s going to play more as a monster horror movie than it will as a superhero film, but it’s still definitely part of the ‘Aquaman’ world.”
Noah Gardner and Aidan Fitzgerald are believed to have been hired to work on the script about the creatures, while Wan and Safran will produce the project.
The movie is not expected to feature the main ‘Aquaman’ cast – which featured the likes of Nicole Kidman, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe and Patrick Wilson.
It’s been reported that ‘The Trench’ could arrive before the ‘Aquaman’ sequel, which has been given a release date of December 16, 2022, though there i no official confirmation of this yet.
The box office smash – which became the 21st highest-grossing film of all time – will see Wan return to direct.
David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick – who wrote the first movie with Will Beall – is already onto the script but plot details are being kept secret for the time being.
Wan will be joined by Peter Safran in producing the franchise.
So far Heard – who plays Mera – and Momoa are the only confirmed cast members reprising their roles.

Sherrie Hewson is going deaf in both ears

OHMYGOSSIP — Sherrie Hewson is going deaf in both ears.
The ‘Benidorm’ star has revealed she now has to use two hearing aids as her hearing has deteriorated so much and admitted she avoided wearing them for five years after having a test at an opticians, because she didn’t want to look “old”.
She told The Mirror Online: “That’s when I remembered my eight-year-old granddaughter Molly saying: ‘Nana, why are you always shouting?’.
“I’d had a test five years ago but I’d done nothing about it.
“It would have been different if it had been my eyes. But there’s a stigma attached to being deaf, isn’t there? Wearing an aid makes you feel like an old person.
“They solved any stigma attached to glasses by making them funky. They’re like a fashion accessory now. I know people who buy them with plain glass in them.”
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist has had her aids dyed to match her hair and she doesn’t mind wearing them now, although she can’t put them on when she is outside because she got a “shock” by how loud the traffic was when she tried before.
She said: “They’re so small you can hardly see them and especially if you wear your hair to your jawline.
“I had the wire dyed to the colour of my roots which hides them even more.
“I couldn’t believe the difference. I can hear everything now. I’m only wearing them at home at the moment. I tried them outdoors but the traffic was too loud. It was a shock.”
Sherrie admitted that she has spent “half” of her life “lip-reading”.
She added: “What people don’t understand is that, if you’re deaf, it’s not the volume that you miss so much as the clarity.
“I must have spent half my life lip-reading without realising it. I was forever accusing the family of mumbling.
“It’s also made me realise how loud I have my telly. “And the radio in my car practically blew me away with my hearing aids in.
“You can’t restore any hearing you’ve lost but you can slow down the deterioration by wearing your aids whenever possible rather than turning up the volume on everything. You’ll damage your ears if you do.”
Meanwhile, the 68-year-old actress previously opened up about her brush with death after having cosmetic surgery for a second time after her first facelift went awry and left her fighting for her life.
During the procedure, she suffered an allergic reaction to general anaesthetic which was given to her ahead of the scheduled surgical facelift.
The former ‘Corrie’ star suffered from convulsions and then blacked out on the operating table, resulting in medics cancelling the op.
Sherrie thought she was going to die before she fell unconscious during the horrific ordeal.
She recalled: “I felt like I was drowning and the last thing I saw before I fell unconscious was the shocked looks on the doctor’s faces. I thought I was a goner.”

Fiona Shaw credits Killing Eve success to female leads not playing ‘virtue’

OHMYGOSSIP — Fiona Shaw has put Killing Eve’s success down to the fact it shows women “running the good and the bad of the world”.
The 60-year-old actress, who stars as the head of the Russia Section at MI6, Carolyn Martens, alongside psychopathic assassin Villanelle (Jodie) and agent Eve Polastri (Sandra) in the BAFTA-winning spy thriller series, has credited the show’s popularity to having three strong female leads who don’t rely on their “husbands or sons”.
The ‘True Blood’ star also admitted it was refreshing not to play a moral-obiding character.
She told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “We’ve all been brought up on endless boys doing this work and enjoying them, so it’s fantastic to have three people who are female running the good and bad of this world.
“It’s a joy not to play plain virtue. Women often play virtue and it’s very nice to not necessarily be good, and not necessarily be bad.
“The three women are not tied to a home or to husbands or sons.
“They are tied to a vision of excitement that life can be for both genders and it’s fantastic to have that opportunity.
“This show looks at your biggest fears about what women might be.
“It’s about the discomfort of a world where nothing’s sure. It’s a thriller, it is funny but it’s also disquieting.”
Fiona also feels the programme’s “hostile humour” and the unpredictably of the characters is what keeps people glued to the screens.
She said: “You never know what the characters are thinking. “There’s always the potential of great charm but the characters are not vulnerable to the charms of humour.
“They can be quite hostile with humour and nothing is very clear. It’s the ambiguity that is the permanent knife edge on which the show works.”
‘Killing Eve’ was renewed for a third season in April, and will see showrunner Suzanne Heathcote in charge.

Tony Hale’s Toy Story 4 ad libs were too rude for final movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Tony Hale admits some of his ‘Toy Story 4’ ad libs were too rude for the movie.
The 48-year-old actor voices Forky – a spork turned into a toy who has an existential crisis – in the animated blockbuster, and he admitted working on HBO comedy ‘Veep’ meant his improvisation took a turn from the family friendly feel when he started recording for the new Disney Pixar film.
Admitting a lot of lines had to be cut, he told Collider: “Forky is so overwhelmed, and I’m overwhelmed.
“A few choice words come out, so I’m sure in my ad lib I might’ve thrown some stuff out, just because I was used to that on ‘Veep.’ ”
Hale also revealed he only got the script pages for his own scenes in the movie, but he insisted it helped him get into the mind of his character.
He explained: “It helped with Forky because he’s such a blank slate, he knows nothing going on.
“So it’s like, everything that was coming to me, I had to treat it like I know nothing, I don’t know what they mean when they say Bo Peep, I don’t know what a Bo is. It was fun to always have that childlike curiosity with it.”
And the actor is excited to see how the finished project comes together when the team has told the story they want to tell.
He added: “The cool thing is, when you do a line they do it a lot of different ways, so i really don’t know exactly how they’re going to put the puzzle together until I see it.”

He told the Daily Star Sunday: “We’re shooting the movie in 6K, so it’s incredibly high-def.
“The aerial footage is mind-blowing.
“And it’s mostly practical – there’s not a lot of CGI [computer generated].
“Those goes are really up in planes and getting thrown around in multiple Gs.
“So it’s very exciting to watch.
“They showed me 15 minutes of footage and I left the trailer with my chin on the ground.
“I was saying, ‘Oh my God, this is so cool. It will be out of this world.'”

“Doing this film has been a very strange experience, but it’s been a wonderful experience as well.
“It will have a very similar vibe to the first one.
“For people who loved the first movie it’s going to be very interesting to watch.
“It very much takes the story in a different direction.
“But I think for the new fans it’s gonna be something very cool, too.”
Kara Wang and Jack Schumacher recently boarded the film.
‘Good’ Trouble actress Kara and ‘Chicago P.D’ actor Jack will play pilots in the action blockbuster and are amongst seven, and final, new additions to sign up to Paramount and Skydance Media’s sequel.

Joseph Kosinski is directing and teased that the plot will focus on Maverick’s service in the modern military.
He said: “The navy is very different now than it was in 1986. Back then, they hadn’t been in any war for 15 or 20 years at that point.
“Now, here in 2017, the Navy’s been at war for 20 years. It’s just a different world now, so you can’t remake the first movie. It has to adapt.”
‘Top Gun: Maverick’ was initially scheduled for a July 2019 release, but it was announced this week that the movie has been pushed back by just over 11 months for a June 2020 arrival in theatres.
Paramount Pictures made the decision so the team will have extra time to figure out the logistics of the flight sequences.
