‘I’m not actually working on it yet’: Sam Raimi shuts down Spider-Man return rumours

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Raimi has played down talk that he could be returning to direct a fourth ‘Spider-Man’ film.
The 64-year-old filmmaker helmed the 2000s trilogy that starred Tobey Maguire as the web-slinging superhero but isn’t sure if Marvel would be interested in his services after the success of the recent movies featuring Tom Holland as Spidey.
Speaking to CBR, Sam said: “I did read that, but I’m not actually working on it yet. I mean, Marvel and Columbia are so successful with the current ‘Spider-Man’ (movies), and the track there, and I don’t know that they’re going to go back to me, and say, ‘Well, folks, we can also tell that story!’
“I’m not sure, but I love all the new ‘Spider-Man’ movies. I loved ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. It was really, super powerful seeing Tobey again in it.”
Sam refused to completely write off the prospect of directing a new ‘Spider-Man’ film as he has an existing relationship with Marvel, although he conceded that lots of conversations would need to take place before a possible project could go ahead.
He said: “I haven’t talked to Tobey about it, but maybe Marvel has, or Columbia Pictures.
“But, I just worked with Marvel on a movie called ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’. So, I’m on great terms with them. I’m sure I would hear about it if it was in the works. I think so. I don’t know.”
Willem Dafoe featured as the villain Norman Osborn/Green Goblin in Sam’s original ‘Spider-Man’ flick in 2002 – before reprising the part in 2021’s ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ – and recently admitted that he would be up for returning as the antagonist.
He told Inverse: “If everything was right, sure. I mean, that’s a great role. I liked the fact that it’s a double role both times.
“Twenty years ago, and fairly recently, both times [were] very different experiences, but I had a good time on both.”

Kali Reis to star in Mercy

OHMYGOSSIP — Kali Reis has joined the cast of ‘Mercy’.
The ‘True Detective: Night Country’ star will feature in the new sci-fi movie along with Chris Pratt, Rebecca Ferguson and Annabelle Wallis.
The film is being directed by Timur Bekmambetov from a script by Marco van Belle and takes place in the near future where capital crime has increased and tells the story of a detective (Pratt) who is forced to prove his innocence after being accused of a violent crime.
Movie chiefs are planning to start production this spring ahead of a cinematic release in August 2025.
Kali was a world champion boxer before making the transition into acting just three years ago and used her experience of “sink or swim situations” for her role in the crime drama opposite Jodie Foster.
The 37-year-old star told the Evening Standard newspaper: “I’ve been in sink or swim situations most of my life and I take a comfort in knowing that I’m capable. I’ve learned that I’m capable even though it looks impossible.”
Reis is aware that she is “fighting against type” with her part in ‘True Detective’ as athletes tend to have to conform to expectations if they move into the acting industry.
She said: “(Producers) stick a gun in their hand, they just have them look mean. I’m very aware of my physicality. I’ve got that stare down. I look very intimidating. I’m very aware of that. So… how can I prove to myself and everybody else that I’m more?”

‘I love sitcom, if I could live for 300 years I would write two more…’ Richard Curtis has ideas for new comedy shows

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Curtis would love to create two new sitcoms.
The 67-year-old screenwriter co-created two of the most popular studio comedy shows of all time; ‘Blackadder’ and ‘The Vicar of Dibley’.
Despite also writing several hit films, including rom-coms ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ and ‘Love Actually’, Curtis says sitcom is his favourite medium to write in and he has ideas for others, but isn’t sure if he has the time left to make them as he approaches his 70th birthday.
Speaking on ‘Blackadder’ star Tony Robinson’s ‘Cunningcast’ podcast, he said: “I love sitcom, if I could live for 300 years I would write two more. There is a kind of structural joy to it. I do know how the sitcoms that I wrote work, which is there is sort of a setting up of two plots and them interweaving them. The setting up of venues.
“In ‘The Vicar of Dibley’ it was always her kitchen and the council room. In ‘Blackadder’ it was always Blackadder’s rooms and then the Prince’s or Queen’s room. Or that introduction of a new person in scene three, then they will have an opinion about him in scene four and then he will return in scene five, there is a joy about it. That joy in order, that joy in knowing how construction works … when you pair a sitcom down – like writing a sonnet – you actually produce better work.”
Despite the last series of ‘Blackadder’ – which placed Rowan Atkinson’s titular character and Robinson’s Baldrick in the trenches of World War I – airing in 1989 the show still has an incredibly loyal fanbase and new people coming to comedy all the time.
Curtis believes that the secret to Blackadder’s longevity is that each of the four series is set in a different era of history which means that the show doesn’t age like other classic sitcoms such as John Cleese’s ‘Fawlty Towers’ which was set in a fictional hotel in the English seaside town of Torquay in Devon and aired between 1975 and 1979.
He said: “Why has it lasted well? I wonder whether one of the reasons is because it’s set in history it doesn’t date.
“Even ‘Fawlty’ is starting to look a bit creaky round the edges but because of the fact that we were 400 years out of date when we started I think it has a long lasting quality. “Then I think the process that I find so hard, which was the actors not rehearsing, simply re-writing and arguing about the script for five days a week did make it very dense. Therefore I do think it has a richness to it which means that when people return to it there’s still lots going on rather than it being very sort of unitary and simple. I also think we caught a lot of people in their performing prime.”

‘I added a few too many a couple of times…’ Wunmi Mosaku increased her character’s swearing on Passenger

OHMYGOSSIP — Wunmi Mosaku added a lot of extra swearing to her ‘Passenger’ character’s dialogue.
The mysterious ITV drama set in Northern England has been written by ‘Broadchurch’ actor Andrew Buchan and has been described as a British ‘Stranger Things’ since it launched.
Andrew was happy to include the blunt language used by real-life Northerners, and Wunmi – who plays police officer Riya, who is investigating the disappearance of a young girl – added her own expletives into many lines because she felt they were appropriate for the character.
Discussing her character’s colourful language, Wunmi, 37, said: “Oh I really did enjoy it, I added a few too many a couple of times. You’re only allowed nine f**** a page and I was bringing 10 or something.”
There were concerns that ‘Passenger’ had so much swearing in it that may have broke ITV rules on foul language.
But producer Lucy Dyke insists that the final cut of the show was within the rules for bad language.
Lucy said: “We’ve been through compliance and it is compliant with what ITV need. There’s not actually that much swearing in it. I think the swearing that is in it is really joyful.”
‘Passenger’ has an all-star cast that also includes Natalie Gavin, Arian Nik, Jo Hartley and David Threlfall.
‘Shameless’ star Threlfall wasn’t shocked at all by any of the foul language after portraying deadbeat dad Frank Gallagher for years on Channel 4’s ‘Shameless’.
In a joint Q A with the cast, writer and producer, he said: “About the swearing, having spent 10 years swearing in the North on another show I think this is pretty mild, you don’t have anything to worry about.”
‘Passenger’ is available now on ITVX.

‘The toilet for me is such a lovely place…’ James Buckley reveals his favourite room in his house

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Inbetweeners’ star James Buckley says the toilet is his favourite room in his house.
The 36-year-old actor – who played foul-mouthed sixth form student Jay Cartwright ‘The Inbetweeners’ – looks forward to his bathroom breaks at home because it is a chance to enjoy some peace and quiet away from his wife Clair and their two sons, Jude and Harrison.
Speaking on his ‘In Sickness and In Health’ podcast, he shared: “The toilet for me is such a lovely place, I look forward to my s****.”
James also will not waste his poos by doing them when he’s out and about because he doesn’t want to deprive himself of that quality time alone at home.
He added: “Unless it’s an emergency s*** at home.
“There have been times where I have been on the train and there has been a toilet and I’ve gone, ‘No, I’m saving this.’ I’ve got to really be in a bad way to need to use the toilet on a train, which I have done a few times.”
James is very specific about his toilet habits and he hasn’t stood at a urinal to urinate for 18 years because he feels uncomfortable answering nature’s call in front of other men. In fact, Buckley prefers to sit down for a pee.
He spilled: “I don’t use urinals at all. If I’m at home I’m sitting down to pee. I discovered sitting down when I was about 18 years old and I was just like, ‘Why the f*** am I standing up?’ I’m proud of it. I might get a bumper sticker ‘I pee sitting down.'”

Ang Lee hopes to make Bruce Lee biopic in the near future

OHMYGOSSIP — Ang Lee is hoping to make progress on his planned Bruce Lee biopic.
The ‘Brokeback Mountain’ director is set to helm a new film about the martial arts legend – with his own actor son Mason Lee in the lead role – and wants to get started on the project in the near future after taking many years to “connect” to the story.
Ang told Variety: “It took me years to think of a way to crack it, to connect to it. Character-wise, I couldn’t be more different from Bruce Lee but there are aspects I relate to.
“He had identity issues: he was always yearning to belong, to find his place. That really speaks to me.
“Neither of us are getting any younger. So I hope I get to make this movie soon.”
Lee had a natural connection with actors from the start of his career that enabled him to discover new stars including Tobey Maguire, Elijah Wood and Katie Holmes – who all featured in his 1997 picture ‘The Ice Storm’ as young performers.
He explained: “I could understand how they feel and talk to them in the same kind of language. For me, working with actors was easy. It took me a long time to pick up the visual skills but directing actors came natural to me.
“Sometimes, instead of giving them direction, I ask them questions. That inspires them to think and shape their character and they just shine.”
It has been 40 years since Ang graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and he explained that his directorial career feels akin to a “continuation of school”.
The ‘Life of Pi’ director said: “Whether 40 years or 15 years or even two months, my career feels like a continuation of school. I like to think I’m always in film school, making different projects and exploring how to make movies. It’s just the world is now my school.”

Rufus Sewell needed a large bum double for Prince Andrew scene in Scoop

OHMYGOSSIP — Rufus Sewell wore a massive prosthetic bottom for a nude scene in ‘Scoop’.
The 56-year-old actor stars as Prince Andrew in the Netflix film about the royal’s calamitous ‘Newsnight’ interview and revealed that a bum double was required for a scene in which the Duke of York flashes his bare backside after climbing out of the bath.
Rufus told the Radio Times: “It’s not that I’m ashamed of my own. I get it out whenever I get the chance – but this bum was specially shipped in.”
The ‘Victoria’ actor revealed that he underwent a lengthy process to be transformed into the disgraced prince and explained that he needed to perfect the “Windsor clenched jaw” for Andrew’s voice in interview scenes with Gillian Anderson – who portrays former BBC journalist Emily Maitlis.
Sewell said: “Andrew actually has this blokey quality. If you listen to him, as opposed to King Charles, he has a lad’s lad quality.
“He’s Randy Andy who chats up the working girls when he visits the factory.”
The star added: “I did say: ‘What’s your plan for the physicality of it?’
“Ever since I left drama school and did my first few roles, I’ve always wanted to get back to roles that allowed me to transform.”
Rufus previously confessed that he became “obsessed” with watching footage of Prince Andrew – particularly in the royal’s younger days as he wanted to draw on more than just the Maitlis interview.
He said: “I just obsessed with watching the interview and watching him.
“I watched a lot of footage of him when he was younger and at his best because one of the temptations is to avoid anything that seems to show him in a good light. It’s quite a responsibility.”

Britain’s Got Talent finalist Tom Ball announces debut album

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ finalist Tom Ball has announced the release of his debut album ‘Curtain Call’.
The drama teacher turned singer – who first appeared on ‘BGT’ in 2022 when he finished in third place before returning last year and revealing himself to be the voice of Noodle the Cat – narrowly missed out on a spot in the final in 2023, having already impressed viewers on ‘America’s Got Talent All-Stars’ earlier in the year as he once again made it to the last stage.
Now, he has confirmed plans for his debut album on May 24, which will feature his brand new single ‘The Best Part’.
As well as his self-penned original songs – such as the new single – the record will also feature covers like ‘Stand By Me’, ‘Feeling Good’ and Sam Smith’s ‘Writing’s On the Wall’.
For his own material, he has teamed up with the likes of Eliot Kennedy and Take That legend Gary Barlow.
In a statement, he explained: “I knew certain songs had to be in there for myself as well as for my fans.
“Writing’s on the Wall had to be the first track on the album; it’s where it started with ‘BGT’ and changed my life.
“It made sense to top the album with that and tail the album with the last song I sung on ‘BGT’, ‘I (Who Have Nothing).’ ”
The six original songs tackle everything from his relationship with his pediatrics nurse wife Hannah to his long battle with type 1 diabetes after being diagnosed aged eight.
The LP – which was recorded at London’s Umbrella Studios – also see shim collaborate with West End star Lucie Jones.
Tom added: “I wrote the song ‘Goodbye’ with Mike Stevens and Jay James. The song is thankfully not related to me in any way, as it’s about a relationship that’s broken down.
“We knew we wanted it as a duet and Lucie Jones is absolutely sensational.
“I’ve seen her in the West End in Waitress and Les Mis, and I’m so honoured to have her on the album.”

Tom Ball – ‘The Best Part’ tracklist

1. ‘Overture’

Luisa Zissman bedridden after breaking back

OHMYGOSSIP — Luisa Zissman has been left bedridden after breaking her back.
‘The Apprentice’ star, 36, has revealed she suffered the initial injury more than a year ago and it left her with a fracture and she also has two discs bulging onto nerves causing her intense pain and leaving her struggling to walk – and the health crisis forced her to cancel a planned trip to the Maldives so she can recover at home.
Luisa shared a picture from her hospital bed on Instagram and later opened up about her back issues during an appearance on her ‘LuAnna’ podcast with Anna Williamson. Anna said of her co-star: “She’s not in the Maldives, she’s in bed, where she has genuinely not moved for eight days … She’s broken her back.”
Luisa went on to explain: “I’ve been in bed for eight days, I am feeling better. I’m not in as much pain anymore because I basically have really good meds, all prescribed, but I actually broke my back a year ago and I just didn’t realise it at the time.
“That isn’t what’s causing my pain but it doesn’t help my situation that you can still see this fractured thing, a fractured back.
“I’ve also got two discs bulging onto two nerves which weirdly is on the left-side but [It’s on] my whole right leg. I basically can’t walk that well because of the nerves in my leg – It feels like I’ve got a wooden leg.”
She added of her cancelled holiday: “So I haven’t gone to the Maldives because I can’t fly.”
Luisa later returned to Instagram to update her followers revealing she has spent nearly two weeks in bed and confessed she spent most of that time online shopping.
She shared a video showing piles of boxes, adding: “This is what happens when you just spend all your time in bed. And the worst thing was … my husband

Kristen Stewart rules out Marvel movie – unless Greta Gerwig is directing

OHMYGOSSIP — Kristen Stewart would only do a Marvel movie if Greta Gerwig was directing the film.
The ‘Twilight’ star thinks it would be a “nightmare” to work on a movie in the superhero franchise and doubts it will ever happen – unless “the world changes” or ‘Barbie’ helmer Gerwig is on board.
She told the ‘Not Skinny, But Not Fat’ podcast: “I will likely never do a Marvel movie … it sounds like a f****** nightmare, actually.”
When the host suggested she would be a good fit for Mary Jane Watson, Spider-Man’s lover, she replied: “What ends up happening is this algorithmic, weird experience where you can’t feel personal at all about it. So likely not. But maybe the world changes…if Greta Gerwig asked me to do a Marvel movie, then I would do it.”
Several actors are against starring in Marvel movies or have had a challenging time filming their parts.
Ray Winstone, who portrayed Russian general Dreykov in ‘Black Widow’, said: “It was fine until you have to do the reshoots.
“Then you find out that a few producers have come down, and your performance is too much, it’s too strong…That’s the way Marvel works. It can be soul-destroying, because you feel like you’re doing great work.”
Kumail Nanjiani, meanwhile, recently revealed he still has therapy over negative reviews to Marvel’s ‘Eternals’.
Despite having an A-list ensemble cast, including Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, and Kit Harington, the Chloé Zhao film was largely slated by critics – and he didn’t take it well at all.
Speaking on the ‘Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum’ podcast, he said: “I had the best time doing that movie, and I realised this is how work should feel like.
“However, when that movie came out and the reviews weren’t good, that was very, very tough for me and I realised that too much of how I’m evaluating what I want to do is based on the result of what other people think of it.”

Sam Taylor-Johnson backs husband Aaron Taylor-Johnson as James Bond

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Taylor-Johnson has backed her husband Aaron Taylor-Johnson to be the next James Bond.
The 33-year-old actor is rumoured to be lined up to take over from Daniel Craig after The Sun newspaper reported he had been handed a “formal offer” from Bond bosses but Aaron has yet to confirm or deny the rumours and there’s still no hint over whether he would accept the job – and now his director wife Sam has weighed in and insisted he would be a good fit for the role.
During an appearance on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, Sam was asked about rumours suggesting she has an interest in the next Bond film and she joked: “You mean that I might direct a Bond film? The first woman director.”
Sam then added: “Carry on speculating. He’d be great.”
The director has worked with Aaron on two films – 2009 John Lennon biopic ‘Nowhere Boy’ and a 2018 adaptation of James Frey’s book ‘A Million Little Pieces’ – and she explained his acting style, adding: “He gets very intense. It’s quite interesting depending on what character he’s playing.
However, one role in particular left Sam worrying Aaron had gone too far with his preparations.
She explained: “‘Nocturnal Animals’; for example, was very hard. He was not washing, his nails were really long, he was drinking and he was watching a lot of serial killer documentaries.
“He wanted to be toxic from the inside in order to play such a toxic character. There was one morning when he woke up and thought the bed was on fire but we were actually sageing him [burning sage].”
Sam’s comments on the potential new role for Aaron come after previous James Bond star Pierce Brosnan threw his support behind him – insisting Aaron would be an excellent choice.
During an appearance on ‘The Ray D’Arcy Show’ on RTE Radio 1, Pierce said: “I think the man has the chops and the talent and the charisma to play Bond, very much so.”
Pierce previously worked with Aaron on 2009 drama ‘The Greatest’ and he was impressed when he heard his former co-star could be in line to take over his old job.
He added: “One of the first movies we made, one of our earliest movies, was ‘The Greatest’ – and he was in it. He was The Greatest in it. It’s a lovely movie with Aaron and Carey Mulligan and Susan Sarandon and myself.
“So yes, I read the news about his possibilities of being a Bond, so I would definitely tip my hat to the fellow.”
When asked what advice he would give to Aaron as Bond, Pierce replied: “Be bold. Go out there, have a great time. Just love it. Just go for it.”

Emmerdale’s Michelle Hardwick is a ‘proud wife’ after Kate Brooks landed Corrie producer role

OHMYGOSSIP — Michelle Hardwick says everyone at ‘Emmerdale’ will miss her wife Kate Brooks’ “smiley face and fabulous story brain”.
The TV veteran – who first served as story producer on the ‘Coronation Street’ back in 2012 – is leaving the rival soap after eight years as she takes over from Iain MacLeod following his promotion from producer to executive producer for continuing drama, making him the chief of both ITV soaps.
And Michelle – who plays Vanessa Woodfield on ‘Emmerdale’, and has two children, Teddy and Betty, with Kate – has gushed about how “proud” she is of her other half as she takes on the new major role.
She wrote on Instagram: “PROUD WIFE ALERT. So the news is out that my beautiful, talented wife is swapping the Dales for the Cobbles to take on the role of Coronation Street Series Producer.
“I know everyone at Emmerdale will miss her smiley face and fabulous story brain. To all my friends at Coronation Street, you’re very lucky, you’ve got a good one there. Good luck Kate! Me, Teddy and Betty are all so proud of you and love you all the world and more.”
In a statement, Kate said: “I’ve had a wonderful time working on Emmerdale and I feel immensely proud to be part of a team that has achieved such great success over the past eight years.
“I’ve absolutely loved my time on the show, and I’ve had the privilege of working with such a hugely talented and hard-working bunch of people, who also happen to be the loveliest, too.”
Kate added that she has gained more than she “ever could have imagined” both professionally and personally from her time on the Yorkshire Dales-based show, but she’s delighted to making the jump to Weatherfield.
She said: “‘Corrie’ has lit up my living room since I was a kid, so to be asked to produce a show I’ve revered for such a long time is the ultimate pinch me moment.
“I’ve adored the show from across the Pennines and have consistently been in awe of the talent on display, both on and off the screen.
“It truly is a special show and I endeavour to take great care to ensure that it continues to thrive as we head into the next chapter.
“‘Coronation Street’ has, and always will be, part of my DNA, and I can’t wait to get stuck in.”
Meanwhile, Iain hailed Kate as a “fantastic storyteller”, and he’s looking forward to seeing what she does at the helm.
He commented: “I know under her guidance the show will be ambitious, exciting and full of heart and humour.
“She is ‘Corrie’ to the core and such a good fit for the show. I am genuinely excited to see what the next chapter holds and can’t wait to work with her again.”
During her time on ‘Emmerdale’, she produced a range of storylines alongside fellow producer Laura Shaw, including serial killer Meena Jutla and Mandy Dingle’s 2019 return after 17 years away, along with Marlon’s stroke, and Faith’s breast cancer storyline in 2022.

Melissa Barrera grateful for ‘support’ after Scream firing

OHMYGOSSIP — Melissa Barrera was in a “cloudy state of mind” after being fired from the ‘Scream’ franchise.
The 33-year-old actress was axed from her role as Sam Carpenter in the slasher films as a result of her pro-Palestinian social media posts and admits that she was “fortunate” to have a strong support network in the aftermath.
Melissa told The Hollywood Reporter: “It’s definitely hard, because I was just in such a cloudy state of mind, but I was very fortunate. I had a lot of support from the people around me: my team and specifically my publicists – they just carried me.”
Despite her controversial exit, Melissa has a deep affection for the horror series – which will continue with ‘Scream 7’ without both her and co-star Jenna Ortega, who has had to drop out due to a scheduling clash with the Netflix series ‘Wednesday’.
She said: “None of this makes me happy. It was just all sad because I really, deeply care about the franchise. It’s just bad that it had to happen like that.”
Melissa has refused to rule out a return to the ‘Scream’ franchise even though she will not be involved in the next film.
The ‘In The Heights’ star explained: “I’ve learned to never say never, but also a lot of things would have to happen for Sam to come back. For now, next page, next chapter and then we’ll see what the future holds.”
Meanwhile, ‘Scream’ star Mason Gooding expects the seventh film to be made for the sake of the fans despite a turbulent production that has seen the exits of Barrera, Ortega and director Christopher Landon.
He told Variety: “If it could make money, I guarantee you, they’ll make it.
“It’s one of those things where you wait to hear from the people that make the big decisions.
“It’s all about keeping up with what feels like is the best movie for the fans. ’Scream’ doesn’t exist without the people who enjoy it as much as they … If people want it, they will certainly try their best to see it happen.”

Nell Tiger Free praises horror films for focusing on women

OHMYGOSSIP — Nell Tiger Free finds it “very satisfying” that women are no longer just seen as “bait” in horror movies.
The 24-year-old actress can next be seen in Arkasha Stevenson’s ‘The First Omen’ as an American who arrives in Rome to become a nun, only to discover dark conspiracies within the church, and she’s thrilled to be part of the genre’s new wave of films that put female characters at the “epicentre” of the story.
She told Empire magazine: “There was a time when women were used in horror films as bait, that feels so dated now.
“Now it feels like women tend to be at the epicentre of these tales and they’re not just experiencing peril and fear but also combating it and overcoming it and solving the case 99 per cent of the time, which is very satisfying to see.”
The movie is set in the 1970s, before the events of ‘The Omen’, and the former ‘Game of Thrones’ actress watched both the original film and its sequel as part of her preparation.
She said: “I was really focused on the mythology of it when we started shooting and then as the shoot progressed.
“I think what’s cool about this movie is that it could be a stand-alone film, but it does slot nicely into the lore of ‘The Omen’.”
Nell’s next project will be ‘Fall Into Darkness’, a cave-set survivalist movie about a group of backpackers, but she’s open to other genres, including rom-coms.
She quipped: “I’ll give it my best shot to not be terrifying.”

Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway to end with two-hour spectacular

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’ will end next month with a two-hour special.
The Geordie duo will bring an end to the ITV show’s 22-year run with the “party to end all parties” on April 13 that will feature Girls Aloud as the Star Guest Announcers and celebrity guests including Pussycat Dolls star Ashley Roberts and pop group S Club.
Meanwhile, stars including Simon Cowell and Olly Murs will have the chance to get vengeance for Ant and Dec’s pranks in the feature ‘Get Out of Me Ear: The Revenge’.
Ant, 48, said: “We’re looking forward to making the last show a party to end all parties.”
Dec, also 48, added: “We will most certainly miss it.”
The pair previously revealed that they have decided to step away from ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ as they “need a break” to spend time with their families.
Ant – who is expecting his first child with his wife Anne-Marie Corbett – told Fault Magazine: “We do the show and then ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, but on a more personal level, part of the reason we’re pausing ‘Takeaway’ is we need a break ourselves, and we need to spend some time with our family. We’ve both got children that we need to spend time with for a little bit.
“We need time to think and, and time to step back and look at the bigger picture and just see where we are now. You know, like I say, ‘We’re turning 49, and what do we want to do next? What’s the next phase of our career?’ And we’ve got lots of ideas and lots of offers on the table, lots of options of things we can do.
“But it’s working on what we do next and where the next chapter begins. So that’s what we’re gonna do when ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ is out of the way. We’ll sit down, take a bit of time, and reevaluate everything.”

Freddie Flintoff’s TV return confirmed with second Field of Dreams series

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff is returning to TV with a second series of his BBC show ‘Field of Dreams’.
The 46-year-old star will present a new run of his cricket documentary in what marks his first TV project since his terrifying car crash while filming ‘Top Gear’ in 2022.
‘Field of Dreams’ sees the former England captain attempting to turn a group of teenagers from his hometown of Preston into a competitive cricket team.
The new series – which has been announced in the BBC’s annual plan – sees Freddie taking the stars of series one on an international tour.
A BBC press release about the new four-episode run said: “Freddie is setting himself an even bigger challenge as he takes some of his team and a handful of fresh recruits on a new adventure.”
Flintoff, 46, stepped away from the spotlight after sustaining facial injuries and broken ribs in the crash which ultimately led to ‘Top Gear’ being shelved.
It was reported last month that Freddie was taking “nervous first steps” back into TV as he filmed for ‘Field of Dreams’.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “He’s healing well and returning to two of his greatest passions – sport and television … Freddie looks to have made huge progress …
“He’s clearly comfortable enough to get in front of a camera again – something which was not the case this time last year. They’re nervous first steps, as he’s recovering both mentally and physically, but the TV show he’s making is a real passion project for him.”
Meanwhile, Freddie’s former ‘Top Gear’ co-hosts Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris are set to reunite for the new series ‘Chris + Paddy: Roadtrip’ , that will see the pair travelling around Europe.
However, BBC bosses do not view the programme as a continuation of the iconic car show.
